Did Tom Brady Say Sofia Vergara Is ‘Too Old’ For Him to Date?

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Late last year, we reported on the rumors that Tom Brady and Sofia Vergara enjoyed a summer fling overseas.

They were both guests at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding, and after the nuptials, Tom and Sofia joined several other A-listers on a cruise.

They eventually wound up partying together in Ibiza, and insiders claimed that they appeared to be hitting it off.

But before anyone could anoint this couple with a mashup nickname (Tofia? Som?), a buzzkill insider swooped in and claimed that Tom’s not interested in anything long-term because Sofia is “older.”

Source claims Tom can only handle Sofia ‘in small doses’

“He sees Sofia as beautiful and his type, but he isn’t going to start a relationship with her as she is older and stuck in her ways. He knows he could only take her in small doses,” the source tells The Daily Mail.

“Sofia’s Colombian heritage is sexy, and hanging out with her and other sexy people on a yacht can be intoxicating, but Tom is not going to bring his work home with him if you catch my drift,” the insider continues, adding:

“If Sofia has any thought that she is going to be in a relationship with Tom, she would be the only one with that thought… nobody should start thinking of celebrity relationship names for them because it is not something that is going to happen.”

As though the source hadn’t already made their point, they went on to explain that Tom isn’t looking for anything serious in the wake of his divorce from Gisele Bundchen.

“Tom loves being single and is enjoying his summer before he starts working again and he is not looking for a relationship. He is always weighing his options when it comes to dating anyone. ‘Options’ being the operative word.

“He’s not looking to be settled down right now. He wants to just have fun. Flings and hookups are cool, but if anyone thinks they can have more with him right now, good luck!”

Reps for Brady deny comments about Vergara’s age

Thankfully, a rep from the Brady camp denies that the NFL legend ever made any sort of disparaging comment about Sofia’s age.

“Tom never said, nor would he ever say, anything like this. It is pure fiction,” the rep tells People magazine.

Tom is 47, and Sofia just turned 53 this week, so it’s not as if there’s a massive age gap between them.

And that’s not the only reason we believe Brady’s rep.

Having played in the NFL into his mid-forties, we’re sure Tom has been on the receiving end of age-related insults. And for that reason, we think he’d know better than to dole out any of his own!

LeAnn Rimes Dishes Into “Craziness” of Affair with Eddie Cibrian

Reading Time: 3 minutes

We recently documented how LeAnna Rimes lost her teeth while on stage for a concert.

Well over a decade ago, meanwhile, the artist nearly lost her dignity in the eyes of a previously-adoring public.

In a new interview with Flow Space, Rimes delved deeply in her affair with now-husband Eddie Cibrian, an illicit endeavor that landed her in the crosshairs of many critics back in 2009.

The singer and the actor met on the set of the Lifetime movie Northern Heights, at which time Cibrian was married to Brandi Glanville and Rimes was married to Dean Sheremet.

They started sleeping with each other despite these relationships… eventually divorcing their spouses in 2010 and getting married the next year.

“I realized very quickly that there are a lot of women who’ve been hurt,” Rimes told the aforementioned outlet.

“Like, I’ve been on both sides of that coin — I’ve been cheated on, too, so I know that feeling. But so many women don’t know what to do with that anger… I was a target that was just easily projected upon. And once I realized that, things got a lot easier.”

Rimes said most of those judging her were women.

And that “so many women don’t know what to do with that anger,” she explained. “I was a target that was just easily projected upon. And once I realized that, things got a lot easier.”

The 42-year-old said she determined after awhile that she can’t take the disdain her her and Eddie’s romance be taken “personally.”

This was a major challenge at first, though.

“I know what I’m responsible for in the situation and making amends for that,” the singer said. “But you know, the world’s pain is not mine to carry, and I think that really got thrown at me for a long time.”

In 2010, Rimes confessed to People Magazine she considered her affair with Cibrian “one of the most selfish things that I could possibly do, in hurting someone else.”

She said at the time:

“I take responsibility for everything I’ve done. I hate that people got hurt, but I don’t regret the outcome.”

To the couple’s so-called credit, they are still together. All these years later.

“If I want to live a fulfilling life, I’ve got to learn how to let that guard down. To me, it was either I was going to die, or I had to confront it.” for everything I’ve done. I hate that people got hurt, but I don’t regret the outcome,” Rimes concluded this week.

Former Dunleavy recall leader is latest candidate for Alaska governor

By: James Brooks, Alaska Beacon

Meda DeWitt holds up a plant in this undated photo provided by the candidate. (Handout photo)

Six years ago, Meda DeWitt was seeking to recall Gov. Mike Dunleavy from office. Now, she’s looking to take his position.

Last week, DeWitt became the 17th person and second independent to file a letter of intent for Alaska’s gubernatorial race.

Speaking by phone, she said a majority of the candidates in the race are Republican and all working off the same talking points.

“We need somebody who isn’t owned by a specific party and required to use those talking points shared among all of the party, and really listen to Alaskans and get the job done,” she said.

DeWitt is a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in the state. She is Tlingit from the Naanya.aayí clan in Wrangell, she is senior state manager for the Wilderness Society in Alaska and president of Yak-Tat K̲wáan Inc., the village corporation for Yakutat.

traditional healer, she has 20 years of experience as a community and political organizer.

“I have experience in working with the different components that a community needs to thrive,” she said. “And I believe that our state has some hard realities that we need to address. You know, we need to address climate change. We have 141 communities that are going to have to be relocated.”

DeWitt said the state’s budget will need “some tough love” but that the next governor should also be prepared to support the base needs of what the state is supposed to provide its residents.

Asked why she believes she’s the best person to organize that, she said, “Well, Alaska needs a mom. My elders that I work with have asked me to run. Communities have asked me to run. My children have asked me to run. They believe that I can make a difference, and so I personally may never have just chosen on my own to step up into that space, but when you have your elders in your life that matter, your children in your life that matter, and your community in your life that matter, that ask you to do it, then you have to take the time to honor that.”

The recall campaign against Dunleavy launched in 2019, after the governor proposed sweeping budget cuts. It alleged a variety of illegal and incompetent acts.

Dunleavy’s attorney general rejected the campaign, stalling it until the following year, when it was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. The campaign ultimately fell short of the signatures needed to force a recall vote.

“He cut safety, he cut education, he cut elder benefits, he cut all of these things that underpin being able to live here and survive,” she said, recalling the campaign. “Alaska is hard to live in.”

She noted that Dunleavy now has the worst approval rating of any governor in the United States.

“The recall, even though we didn’t recall him, we did hold him in check. He knew that that was always looming there in the background for his entire eight years,” she said.

The next governor will have to deal with tough issues, DeWitt said.

“We have to talk about ferries in Southeast,” she said. “We have to talk about coastal erosion on the West Coast, we have to talk about our oil and gas dependency and how that’s not healthy for us. Also, who’s talking about the fact that we ship in 95% of our food and goods?”

DeWitt sees her campaign as one focused on issues that people are talking about.

“I think that this is a people’s campaign that’s going to take people power to do it, and I look forward to working with Alaskans in the process,” she said. “And I humbly ask for their support and their vote and to be given the opportunity to serve.”

Savannah Guthrie Offers $1 Million for Recovery of Her Mother

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Savannah Guthrie and her siblings have increased the reward for their missing mother, Nancy Guthrie.

On Tuesday morning, the Today co-host shared a new video on social media in response to the shocking tragedy of her 84-year old mother seemingly being abducted over three weeks ago.

In the footage, Guthrie acknowledged that her mom “may already be gone,” but:

“We need to know where she is. We need her to come home. For that reason we are offering a family reward of up to $1 million for any information that leads us to her recovery.”

(Instagram)

Referring to the 24 days that her mother has been missing “agony,” Guthrie said her family has been “fearing for her and aching for her and most of all just missing her.”

Previously, Nancy’s children had offered a $100,000 reward for intel pertaining to their mother.

It remains unclear whether any ransom notes were actually delivered to the family or if any demands have been made in relation to Nancy.

In addition to the new reward, meanwhile, the Guthrie family is also donating $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

“We also know that we are not alone in our loss. We know there are millions of families that have suffered from this uncertainty,” Savannah said on Tuesday sharing the donation. “We hope that the attention that has been given to our mom and our family will extend to all the families like ours who are in need.”

The reporter also made a point to thank those who have shown their sympathy and support during this impossible time.

“We know that millions of you have been praying. So many people have been praying of every faith and no faith at all, praying for her return, and we feel those prayers,” she said. “Please keep praying without ceasing. We still believe. We still believe in a miracle.”

Guthrie — who may never return to television — held back tears while telling followers that her sister, Annie Guthrie, says the family is “blowing on the embers of hope” in the wake of Nancy’s disappearance.

Of late, new details have emerged about the masked person seen on doorbell camera footage at Nancy Guthrie’s Arizona home earlier this month.

The suspect visited her doorstep on multiple occasions, not just the morning she is believed to have been kidnapped, an insider has told CNN.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement Monday “there is no date or time stamp associated with these images” and “any suggestion that the photographs were taken on different days is purely speculative.”

It added the investigation is ongoing and “conclusions will be guided by verifiable evidence and established facts.”

Ending her message (the first she’s released since February 15) with another plea, Guthrie urged those with information to contact authorities.

“Please, if you hear this message; if you’ve been waiting and you haven’t been sure, let this be your sign to please come forward, tell what you know and help us bring our beloved mom home so that we can either celebrate a glorious, miraculous homecoming or we can celebrate the beautiful, brave and courageous and noble life that she has lived.

“Please be the light in the dark.”

Nancy Guthrie was last seen alive on Saturday, January 31 after she had dinner with family. She was reported missing on Sunday, February 1 when she failed to attend a virtual church service.

2026 NFL Combine News: Sean Payton Not Calling Plays, Latest on Tua Tagovailoa

The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine has arrived. While the main purpose of the event is to scout the top prospects in this year’s draft, we’ll get plenty of news on what might go down across the league this offseason. Will star players like Maxx Crosby get traded? Will any standout players set to become free agents receive the franchise tag? May we get news on potential rule changes for the 2026 season? We’ll likely find out the answers to those questions and many more hot topics around the NFL. So, here’s all the latest news from Indianapolis. Sean Payton, Dave Canales no longer calling plays for their respective teams Sean Payton said giving up playcalling duties is about “how do we win more games?” Considered one of the best offensive playcallers in the league for decades, Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton confirmed he had given up playcalling duties to up-and-coming assistant coach Davis Webb, who was promoted from quarterbacks coach and offensive passing game coordinator to offensive coordinator this offseason. Webb had interviewed with other teams for vacant head coaching and offensive coordinator positions but ultimately chose to stay with the Broncos when Payton fired longtime offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi, who had worked with him in New Orleans and with the Broncos. Part of the motivation for Payton giving up play-calling duties was making sure he kept the talented, 31-year-old head coach on his staff. But Payton, 62, also said it was time. “I would only do that if I felt that it would help our team,” Payton said. “I’ll still be involved with what we do offensively, just like I’m involved with what we do defensively. But I do think he has a gift. He’s real sharp. I’m glad he’s on our staff. Typically, any decision we make like that is to benefit our team.” Payton was asked if it was a hard decision. “No, listen I’ll still have opinions on plays,” Payton said. “Mine will be the bad ones, and his will be the good ones (laughs). But I’m going to support him in that. I can recall being in that situation. Even in Dallas, two or three years there, I don’t know if anyone knew who was calling the plays, either it was Bill [Parcells] or myself. But I think that stepping back and looking at it, he’ll do a fantastic job.” Currently, 16 head coaches will serve as the primary play callers on offense in the NFL for 2026. Carolina Panthers head coach Dave Canales will be one of them, either. He announced on Tuesday that third-year offensive coordinator Brad Idzik will assume those duties for 2026. — Eric D. Williams Tua Tagovailoa getting traded? The Miami Dolphins aren’t ruling anything out with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa this offseason. Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan told reporters at the combine that “everything’s on the table.” “It could go in a lot of different ways,” Sullivan said. “A trade is a possibility, but Tua is aware, his representation is aware. We’ve had really positive conversations, and, like I said, it’s kind of all on the table when it comes to Tua at this moment. “[Tagovailoa’s reps] have expressed that he wants to play and that they still think he can play at a high level. The conversations have been productive, but they have not in particular said that they want to be traded.” Tagovailoa was benched for the final three games of the 2025 season after struggling for much of the year. But he’s due $54 million in guaranteed money in 2026, and if the Dolphins release him, they would take on a $99.2 million dead cap hit. Raiders expect Maxx Crosby to remain with team in 2026 Raiders star edge rusher Maxx Crosby might be the top trade candidate in the NFL this offseason, but Las Vegas might make it difficult for another team to acquire him. Raiders general manager John Spytek told reporters that he expects Crosby to remain with the team for the 2026 season, adding that the edge rusher is an “elite” player. “We’re in the business of having really good players on the team, and we need a lot more of them,” Spytek said. Trade rumors involving Crosby emerged late in the 2025 season after the team decided to shut him down for the final two games of the year. That decision upset Crosby, causing him to storm out of the team’s facilities, FOX Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer first reported. Earlier in February, Glazer reported that Crosby’s time with the Raiders was likely finished. Ravens confident they’ll get Lamar Jackson extension done, have made big offer to Tyler Linderbaum The Ravens made a big change at head coach this offseason, but they want to keep some other key figures in the franchise in place moving forward. Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta told reporters at the combine that the team is confident an extension will get done with quarterback Lamar Jackson. Prior to the end of the 2025 season, there had been rumors that Jackson might want out of Baltimore, but he dismissed that chatter. Jackson has two years remaining on his five-year, $260 million contract. The Ravens are also looking to keep center Tyler Linderbaum, who was ranked fifth in FOX Sports’ top 100 NFL free agents list. DeCosta said the team has made a “market-setting” offer to keep Linderbaum in Baltimore. Linderbaum, 25, has been named a Pro Bowler in each of the last three seasons, while Creed Humphrey of the Chiefs is the highest-paid center in the league on a four-year, $72 million deal.Latest Sports News from FOX Sports
