What should have been the happiest day of her life ended in unimaginable tragedy.
A Brazilian bride was allegedly murdered by her new husband just hours after the couple said “I do,” according to multiple reports.

According to Brazilian outlets, Nascimento and her new husband, Daniel Barbosa Marinho, became involved in a heated confrontation that quickly escalated into physical violence.
Marinho, 55, has worked as a member of Brazil’s Municipal Guard since 1998, according to People.
Despite emergency responders rushing to the scene, Nascimento — a mother of three children from a previous relationship — was tragically pronounced dead during what had begun as her own wedding reception.
In a devastating detail, witnesses told local outlets that family members at the residence managed to safely remove all of the children from the home before the situation turned deadly.
Authorities allege the violence escalated when Marinho used his service weapon to shoot his wife before fleeing the scene.

According to reports, the initial gunshots were not fatal. However, investigators allege that Marinho later returned and fired at Nascimento again.
Shortly after her death, the suspect allegedly contacted the Municipal Guard himself to report the crime. He was later detained on and taken to the Second Women’s Defense Department, where he was placed in pretrial detention.
As officials investigated the scene, authorities reportedly recovered casings, projectiles, ammunition, and the weapon allegedly used in the shooting.
In a statement following the incident, the Municipal Guard of Campinas said it “deeply regrets the incident” and emphasized its commitment to combating violence in all forms.
“The corporation is fully cooperating with the Civil Police investigations and remains available to the authorities to provide all necessary clarifications,” a spokesperson said.
We will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.

Zach Top is receiving major backlash online following comments he made about sobriety during an appearance on Bert Kreischer’s Bertcast.
While sitting down with comedian Bert Kreischer, the country singer opened up about his days on the road and the lifestyle changes that have come with being a touring artist full-time. The conversation eventually shifted toward sobriety culture, where several of Top’s remarks quickly sparked criticism across social media.
Top explained that after he went from working construction to being a singer/songwriter in spring 2024, he began drinking more as a result off of having access to alcohol on his bus “24/7.”

Still, he insists he doesn’t “need” to drink but instead sees it as a “want” because it makes everyday moments more enjoyable.
“I don’t need it. I’m not waking up at a venue and having a beer at 10:00 AM because I need it. It’s because it’s like, oh it’s sunny out, we’re playing pickleball in the parking lot. Let’s have a beer while we’re doing it. And it just makes everything better in my mind.”
“It’s a little sparkle,” Kreischer noted.
Things took a more controversial turn when the Washington native shared his opinion on sobriety, calling it a “fad” and a “trendy thing right now” in today’s society with the growing number of people choosing to eliminate alcohol from their life. He went on to suggest that as long as people are able to keep themselves healthy, they can continue to drink all their life and be “fine.”
“The next person I hear say they got sober…It’s just like, I want to hit ‘em in the head. We don’t need that. Just be a normal guy and just drink a normal amount and you can do it all your life and you’re fine,” Top stated.
In his eyes, sobriety is all part of a “disease” going around that involves people doing stuff just to get recognition for it.
“There’s a difference between doing something just for the love of doing it and then doing it so that you can post a video and get a bunch of affirmation and a bunch of likes,” he shared. “And the affirmation and the likes are great. We all like that. It’s awesome. But you got to do it just for the love of doing it. And if you’re doing it for the love of doing it, you don’t have to talk about it as much with the sobriety thing and whatnot.”
Once the clip began to circulate the internet, the comments immediately drew backlash with many arguing that Top’s remarks dismissed the realities of addiction and sobriety struggles. Some pointed out that sobriety is often a personal decision necessary to improve mental health, to control substance abuse issues or even save a life, rather than simply being another social media trend.
One user wrote, “Can never knock someone for putting down alcohol and to stop poisoning their body. It’s the healthiest thing you can do.”
“Sobriety is the only thing keeping some people alive today, my friend. Don’t minimize what you haven’t lived through.”
“Zach Top just kinda lost his cool with this comment,” said an upset user.
Another person added, “Some of us can’t drink a normal amount… and that’s the problem I’m sober 11 years in Aug it’s not a fad!! It literally saved my life!!”
In addition to sharing his honest thoughts on drinking, Zach Top also discussed his smoking habits. While he admitted that cigarettes are “bad for you,” he doesn’t seem overly worried about them shortening his life, noting that he’s seen plenty of people who smoked their whole lives and still lived to be “100 years old.”
“I probably smoke five or six a day…I feel like I’ve tried to intentionally dial it back just a little bit because when I was working construction, I’d smoke a pack a day easy,” he shared. “I’d like to smoke cigarettes forever till I die when I’m a hundred…I think when the habit starts when it’s like you don’t actually want a cigarette or hit a nicotine, but it’s just the routine so you just do it. And so I’ve tried to just be like, no, just smoke it when you actually [want it]. That first one of the day with a cup of coffee or something, nothing feels like that.”
Top has become known for leaning into a more old-school country image, making it no surprise that he and his bandmates are often seen smoking cigarettes on stage while performing.

NOTN- Juneau’s city officials are still weighing cuts to city services, new debt for infrastructure and a major change to sales tax rules as they work to close a nearly $12 million dollar budget deficit.
After a nearly five-hour finance committee meeting last night, officials began prioritizing a list of possible reductions. The work will shape the budget the Assembly expects to pass by the deadline on June 15.
Still under consideration are cuts to destination marketing through Travel Juneau, economic development funding for the Juneau Economic Development Council, potential closure of Mount Jumbo Gym, reduced hours or closure of the City Museum, and cuts to arts and culture funding through the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council.
Some of the most controversial ideas have been taken off the table for this year, including closing one of the city’s pools, the field house and the Treadwell arena. Those facilities will instead be supported with city savings which will be a short-term solution.
“Those were the ones that we had heard lots of public feedback on.” Said Finance Director Christine Woll, “Closure of the ice rink is no longer in consideration. I will say, everyone on the assembly acknowledged we can get away with not making those cuts this year, but that’s because we have a lot of money in savings, and so using our savings to fund those facilities will not work much for longer than a year.”
The Assembly is also considering up to two bond proposals for the ballot, Woll said, one for improvements to aging school facilities and another for water and wastewater infrastructure. She said general obligation bonds are appropriate only for capital projects and must be approved by voters.
“With approval from the taxpayers, the city does have a good amount of debt capacity and one piece I’ll add to that is, we would only use debt for Capital Projects, right? So the idea is you would borrow money so you can improve something or build something, and then pay it back over time, as opposed to taking on debt to operate something into the future.” Woll said, “So the Assembly is looking at putting up to two bond proposals on the ballot. We haven’t decided yet, but basically we’re looking at taking on debt for some improvements to our aging school facilities, as well as our water and wastewater infrastructure. So those in my opinion, good projects for debt.”
The Assembly plans a public hearing June 8, the same day many budget decisions are expected, and is accepting email comments at boroughassembly@juneau.gov. Woll urged residents to weigh in on the tax cap and potential service cuts as soon as possible.
For years, reality TV has filled a niche once occupied by sideshow acts in traveling circuses.
A new series is coming soon — one in the vein of Octomom, Jon & Kate Plus 8, and even the disgraced Duggar family’s time on screen.
But this one has a celebrity twist.
Are you ready to follow Nick Cannon as he juggles having 12 kids by six different women?

They should really call it ‘Loose Cannon’ (but they’re cowards)
Move over, Nadya Suleman. Dodekadad is coming to Netflix.
(That’s not the show’s title. Variety reports that the working title is Cannon’s House of Cards, which is … uninspired.)
The upcoming reality docuseries threatens to “pull back the curtain on the complete chaos, headline-making drama and heartfelt moments that come with raising 12 kids by six different moms.”
The teaser continues: “All while managing his booming career and complicated personal life.”
His career is booming? That’s new information to many.
“Get an inside look at how Nick Cannon navigates his wild, blended families with humor, vulnerability, and his genuine dedication to being a present father,” the blurb claimed.
“From million-dollar meetings to midnight diaper runs,” the teaser threatens.
The press release wants people to “think Kardashian-level glam meets relatable, messy modern parenting.”
According to the premise: “This is fatherhood, fame, and family.”
Cannon’s estimated net worth is in the tens of millions. That’s a lot, but arguably doesn’t amount to Kardashian glam. Unless the blurb is referring to Rob.
Sometimes, a reality TV series feels like a reward for bad behavior
The news of Cannon’s new reality series came on Wednesday, May 13.
You may have noticed a lot of news from various television upfronts this week.
Wednesday was Netflix’s.
Cannon’s new gig is likely to turn heads and earn scorn.
It isn’t just that he’s a Trump supporter with a history of antisemitic scandals. It’s also that people are really tired of Cannon making bad choices that impact his family and acting like it’s cute.
The rest of us so often forget Cannon’s litany of children, to the point where some struggle to believe that he doesn’t mess up his own children’s names from time to time.
He has 15-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey. Cannon recently admitted to a sexist double-standard when it comes to them dating. (To be fair, he wouldn’t want his daughter dating a guy like him, right?)
With Abby De La Rosa, Cannon has twins Zion and Zillion, plus another child named Beautiful Zeppelin.
With Brittany Bell, he has Golden Saigon, Rise Messiah, and Powerful Queen. With Bre Tiesi, he has Legendary Love.
With LaNisha Cole, he has Onyx Ice. With Alyssa Scott, he shares Halo — but they were also parents to Zen, who died at 5 months old in 2021.
Whatever critics may say about Cannon himself, we wish his children the best. With life, with their upcoming reality TV fame, and in many cases, with their name change filings as adults.
“I have PTSD,” the victim allegedly remarked to Eatherly.
“He said, ‘You start saying all that chimp out s–t to me and ‘imma hit you,’ and he hit me, he started whaling on me,” Eatherly said.
CNN notes that Eatherly has made several racist videos in which he referred to Black people as chimps.
“It’s unfortunate that incidents like this are happening in our community,” Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson said in a statement.
“This kind of violence won’t be tolerated, and our office will work to make sure those responsible are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
The incident took place just days after Eatherly was arrested and charged with theft of services for allegedly skipping out on a nearly $400 tab in a Nashville restaurant.
He continued streaming throughout that entire incident, as well.
We will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.

She has shared her story of getting away — but has not named the man or the accomplice who betrayed her.
The internet has been rife with speculation on both, with some suggesting that the latter might be a certain RHOBH alum.
But Diana Jenkins wants people to know that she’s not the culprit.

She says that she’s not the betrayer
Years ago, Hayden Panettiere was friends with Diana.
There are photos of them hanging out and attending celebrity get-togethers.
This would have been while Heroes was airing, though admittedly after it got really bad.
And, of course, it was years before Diana became part of the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Internet sleuths quickly pointed to this (seemingly former) friendship, speculating that it could be Diana.
Actress Hayden Panettiere opens up to Jay Shetty about a TRAUMATIC experience where an industry “friend” set her up at 18 to end up alone in bed with a NAKED “very famous” man while stuck on a boat 😳👀
A spokesperson for Diana told TMZon Wednesday, May 13, that internet detectives should look elsewhere.
“Diana has had to deal with false online rumors before,” the spokesperson began.
“And sadly,” the statement announced, “this is just another example of that.”
Her spokesperson continued: “So let me be 100 percent clear about this: It most certainly is not Diana.”
Diana’s indirect statement added: “And anyone who claims it is her will be sued.”
Beyond the statement, is there anything else to exonerate her?
Please keep in mind that, in her interview and in her book, Hayden does not name the woman.
Which means that she has not accused Diana of anything.
These are internet users on social media who are connecting the dots. Believing — or at least hoping — that Hayden’s betrayer will be someone obvious in her history.
However, even tweets singling out Diana seem to not fit the timeline that Hayden herself provided.
She was 18 when a woman hand-delivered her to a naked celebrity man. She was 20 — years later — when she and Diana were hanging out at parties.
Pictured L with Diana Jenkins. Pictured R with Anthony Kiedis at the ROOM 23 release party hosted by Diana Jenkins. These are from 2009, when Panettiere was 20 years old.
Another issue is that people who have already read Hayden’s book note that the woman in question probably doesn’t match with Diana for another reason.
Diana is a beautiful woman, but she’s also older than Hayden.
In the book, readers report, it sounds like the woman in question is much closer to Hayden’s age.
We get that Diana’s presence on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Her spokesperson’s statement is also tone deaf — focusing more upon the internet rumors than on Hayden’s suffering.
But the real culprit is very likely someone else. We’d all like to know who this man is and who this woman is, but wild speculation probably doesn’t help.
