George Birge and Luke Bryan Bring Raw And Uplifting Story Of ‘Ride, Ride, Ride’ To Life In New Music Video

George Birge and Luke Bryan have unleashed the official music video for “Ride, Ride, Ride,” as it continues to rise up both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay charts, marking Birge’s fastest-rising single to date.

With this drop, fans get to hear the modern cowboy anthem come to life in full force. The Corey Miller-directed video opens with Birge appearing in a barn with a golden, natural light peeking through the wooden slates as he introduces the storyline in the first verse: “I threw a ten on the bar, ready to drown/ The hell I’ve been going through/ I didn’t make it far/ Fore an old cowboy sat down/ Said buddy I’ve been there too.”

Bryan eventually joins him in the dusty arena as the two belt out the track’s gritty, heart-pounding lyrics. Toward the end, the visuals intensify as a galloping horse charges across the arena, perfectly matching the song’s themes of resilience and moving forward through life’s challenges.

The single, co-written by Birge alongside Tyler Hubbard, Casey Brown, and Parker Welling, encourages listeners to face the tough moments head on, and to dig deep to find that inner “barbed wire tough” and get back in the saddle after every fall. The story unfolds like a conversation between the two country stars among the sound that is equal parts raw and uplifting.

“Ride, ride, ride/ When the clouds rollin’ in ’til the sun’s back again/ and you’ll find, find, find/ That what you’re made of is barbed wire tough/ Stare down the storm, you bring on the rain/ Life will throw you off boy, but saddle up anyway / And ride, ride, ride,” they sing together.

Upon its release, “Ride, Ride, Ride” as named most added at country radio and now with the release of the music video, George Birge and his duet partner give it an extra cinematic boost.

Reflecting on the chance to bring the song to life alongside the five-time Entertainer of the Year award-winner, Birge shares, “Luke brings positive energy and star power to everything he does. I was so thankful he agreed to be part of this music video. The grit and the visuals really helped bring the song to life, and I can’t wait for fans to see it.”

“Ride, Ride, Ride” continues the Texas native’s impressive streak of fast-rising singles, including his No.1 hit, “Mind On You,” his second Country radio chart-topper “Cowboy Songs,” the Billboard Hot 100 hit, “It Won’t Be Long,” and his collaboration with Brantley Gilbert, “Small Forever.”

He served as direct support for Luke Bryan’s COUNTRY SONG CAME ON TOUR last summer and is now in the midst of his of headlining COWBOY SONGS TOUR. His next stop takes place tomorrow night at the Fine Line in Minneapolis. The trek will run through the end of April. George Birge is also set to join Darius Rucker on the SONGS OF THE SUMMER TOUR 2026.

Michael Phillips Apologizes For Sending Unsolicited Micropenis Pics to Women

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Please don’t send dong pics unsolicited.

That goes for everything — for boobs, for hole. Hell, don’t send face photos unsolicited.

(But the dong pics seem to be the biggest problem … though, in this case, not the biggest.)

After being accused of spreading his micropenis pics around without consent, the wielder of the (alleged) world’s smallest penis is apologizing. Sort of.

Michael Phillips claims to have the world’s smallest penis. He might be correct. (Image Credit: ITV)

It started when a number of women had the same complaint

A number of social media posts, most notably this Instagram video (below), have told variations of the same story.

People — possibly all women — receive DMs from a man who goes to great lengths (pun unintended but we’re leaving it in) to discuss his micropenis.

Claiming to have the world’s smallest penis, he frames this as a disability, discusses how he believes that this impacts his day-to-day life, and seeks to elicit sympathy.

Unfortunately, as the story details, he will also bring this up to defend himself after his own bad behavior — such as inexcusable and public body-shaming.

The worst part, of course, is that this individual has also sent unsolicited photos of his micropenis to these women.

The video includes screenshots of a series of DMs.

Michael Phillips appears to lash out in anger, claiming that anyone poking fun at what he calls his “disability” is doing something worse than his unprompted body-shaming.

(We’re not going to try to litigate whether a micropenis is a disability or not — it may well be! We are not disability experts.)

Some on social media have drawn the conclusion that he starts these online spats as a pretext before sending a photo of his micropenis.

He seems to object to the characterization of his behavior as engaging in kink (and, by extension, “tricking” others into engaging with him).

What does he have to say for himself?

During an extended (pun again not intended) chat with TMZ, Phillips insists that he’s not sending micropenis pics to harass women.

He says that the dong photos are to be upfront for dating purposes.

According to him, he’d rather directly inform someone whom he intends to date that he has a micropenis.

(He’s making a fair point here. The internet is full of horror stories of men who deceived partners about their penises in one way or another.)

Being honest is a worthy goal! However, we should never send photos — especially not genital photos — without consent. That’s just as true if someone’s working with a whole hog in the double digits or with whatever Phillips has.

Okay, but what about sending the DM during an argument with the woman he body-shamed?

“There was a girl who I was angry with because she started making fun of me,” he reported. This is accurate, if incomplete.

“I had commented on her post, and a bunch of people started attacking me,” Phillips described.

“They saw I was in the news for having a micropenis and she started posting about that,” he recounted.

“I did send her an unsolicited pic of myself,” Phillips admitted. He claimed that this was “because I wanted to show her that she shouldn’t make fun of people and let her see what she’s making fun of.”

He super swears that he won’t send unsolicited photos again

“I tried to tell her it’s a disability and something I have to live with, I was hoping for it to be a teachable moment,” he claimed.

Phillips did confess to having sent (other) unsolicited micropenis pics in the past.

He claimed that this only happened when he was drinking.

“I don’t do that anymore,” Phillips alleged. “I apologize to any woman I may have offended.”

We’re sure that, if he does do that again, the world will hear of it. It sounds like his personal photos are fairly unique.

Rhett Akins Hints At First New Project In 20 Years – With Thomas Rhett In The Mix [Exclusive]

It’s been more than two decades since Rhett Akins officially released a record of his own, but that may be about to change.

Akins is one of modern country music’s most consistent hitmaking songwriters, with credits like “I Don’t Want This Night To End,” recorded by Luke Bryan; “Dirt On My Boots,” recorded by Jon Pardi; “Honey Bee” by Blake Shelton; and “Small Town Boy” by Dustin Lynch, along with countless other cuts recorded by a who’s who of country music.

Before becoming one of Nashville’s most in-demand writers, Akins also enjoyed a successful run as a solo artist in the 1990s, earning his first No. 1 hit with “That Ain’t My Truck.”

Throughout the past two decades, Akins has racked up numerous accolades for his songwriting, including being named BMI Songwriter of the Year multiple times and earning several CMA Triple Play Awards, which honor songwriters who chart three No. 1 singles within a 12-month span.

While the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee has spent the last several years dominating Music City behind the scenes, Akins recently revealed he’s considering releasing some of the thousands of songs he’s written that never found a home.

“It’s been over 20 years since I released anything officially, like record wise. There was no such thing as streaming back then. So I’m like the Flintstones,” he told Country Now with a laugh while backstage at the Grand Ole Opry during Conservation Aid. “I mean, I’m way, way behind on social media, putting songs out and things like that. But I have so … I bet I’ve written almost 2000 songs since I’ve been in Nashville. And there’s just a lot of ones that for whatever reason, nobody picked up or didn’t sing, but they deserve to be heard. And I got a lot of those that I want to put out.”

Akins also revealed that he and his son, Thomas Rhett, have been back in the studio together.

“Me and Thomas Rhett have been working on … Well, we’ve been working on songs since he’s five years old, but we’ve been working on some songs in the studio,” he shared. “When we can, he’s busy all the time going on tour, going to Africa for charity and stuff like that, having kids, which I think he might have his fifth kid tonight as we speak, my seventh grandchild. But yeah, we’ve written some songs this year.”

While Akins admitted he isn’t yet sure where the new songs will ultimately land, it’s clear that something is brewing, and it could involve a few familiar names.

“I don’t know. Maybe some of mine, maybe we do something together, maybe it’s for his. I always have a song or two on his albums, but I haven’t made an album in a long time. So I think that I probably would have some guests, Luke Bryan, Riley Green, Jason Aldean, people that I kind of came up with, but having Thomas Rhett, us doing something together might be happening,” he teased.

Despite his decades of success, Akins says the nerves that come with chasing a great song haven’t disappeared, and that’s exactly how he likes it.

“I don’t feel pressure about anything anymore. Except I will say this, as many songs as I’ve written, I don’t think there’s a day that I drive to town that I don’t get a little bit nervous. Like it’s your first time, you know what I mean? Because every song is its own thing. It doesn’t matter because you’ve been writing for 10, 20, 30 years, you still kind of get that chill when you know it’s the right title, you know it’s the right melody. It’s still like the first time. So I still enjoy that part of it, but I’ve written so many songs, played so many shows that I kind of don’t … I mean, I don’t really worry about it anymore.”

Fans can stay tuned to Rhett Akinssocial media for updates.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 2: First Casting News!

Reading Time: 2 minutes

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms just wrapped up what most viewers agree was a very successful first season.

But it’s never too early to start looking ahead to Season 2, is it?

Filming on episodes of this HBO drama is already underway in Belfast… with Entertainment Weekly and other outlets confirming that a few casting details have now been made official.

(Steffan Hill/HBO)

Lucy Boynton (A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story), Babou Ceesay (Alien: Earth), and Peter Mullan (Ozark) will all join the Game of Thrones prequel’s roster as key characters from “The Sworn Sword,” the second Dunk and Egg novella from author George R. R. Martin on which Season 2 is based.

Boynton — who also appeared in Barbie and Bohemian Rhapsody — will portray Lady Rohanne, a.k.a. the Red Widow, who’s the head of House Webber and the Lady of Coldmoat.

Then we have Ceesay — considered to have been a breakthrough performer from the FX Alien prequel series as cyborg Morrow — who will take Ser Bennis of the Brown Shield, a sworn sword (a knight sworn to an individual).

Finally, Mullan — who recently joined the cast of The Witcher final seasons as the new Vesemir — will play Ser Eustace Osgrey, head of House Osgrey.

Each acotr will serve as a primary character that Ser Duncan “Dunk” the Tall (Peter Claffey) and Prince Aegon “Egg” Targaryen (Dexter Sol Ansell) encounter on this upcoming adventure.

(HBO)

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1 told the story of Dunk and Egg as they set out from the Ashford tournament on horseback to explore the world, now officially as hedge knight and squire as we saw on the finale.

Previously, co-creator and showrunner Ira Parker hinted (strongly) that Season 2 will take these characters to Dorne.

The general premise of the tale (which, as cited above, will be based on the book “The Sworn Sword” — involves Ser Duncan’s time as a sworn sword to Ser Eustace and a local feud with Lady Rohanne.

“It’s really interesting seeing reactions to the work that we’ve done so far,” Parker told Entertainment Weekly during Season 2 filming. “But at the end of the day, that’s the enjoyment of being a fan. I have no agenda in this, you know? I wanna tell good stories about these characters that I love, and I want it to be fun. That’s the goal.”

Look for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 2 to premiere some time in 2027.

Misty Roberts: Louisiana Mayor Convicted of Having Sex With Son’s Underage Friend

Reading Time: 2 minutes

We have shocking news to report out of Louisiana today.

Misty Roberts, the former mayor of DeRidder, Louisiana has been convicted of having sex with a 16-year-old boy.

Local news reports that it took the jury less than an hour to come back with a guilty verdict.

That’s not too surprising, as there was a mountain of evidence in this case.

For starters, the victim took the stand and testified that he had sex with Roberts at a pool party in 2024.

At the time, he was just 16 years old, and she was still the mayor of DeRidder.

And the case against Roberts continued to build from there.

Misty Roberts has been accused of having sex with a minor.

At one point, Roberts’ daughter took the stand and gave testimony, saying she witnessed her mom and the victim “on top of each other.”

Another witness testified that she heard Roberts’ son shouting in fury about the fact that his mother “effed” his best buddy.

And at one point, the victim’s mother texted Roberts about the possibility that she may have gotten pregnant.

Roberts assuaged the mom’s fears, not by saying she’d never had sex with her son, but instead by revealing that she was on birth control at the time.

So yeah, the former mayor’s defense team was really fighting an uphill battle here.

And Roberts either wasn’t offered a plea deal, or she didn’t accept the terms.

After being found guilty of two felony charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile, Roberts is facing 17 years behind bars.

She stepped down as mayor of DeRidder shortly after her arrest in 2024.

Sadly, this is just one of many high-profile stories about abuse of minors in recent weeks.

We will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.

Kynath Terry Jr. Allegedly Shot Wife Just After She Gave Birth Before Taking Own Life in …

Reading Time: 3 minutes

A murder-suicide is always a tragedy.

But when Kynath William Terry Jr. allegedly marched into the hospital maternity ward and murdered his wife and then himself, he also created an orphan — and two grieving families.

This is a senseless horror.

Families are scrambling to explain what happened. And the hospital is looking into preventing this from ever happening again.

Precious Johnson and Kynath Terry Jr.
24-year-old Precious Johnson had just given birth when her husband, Kynath Terry Jr., allegedly shot her to death before taking his own life. (Image Credit: WVTM 13)

On Sunday, March 1, a horrific shooting took place at Homewood, Alabama’s Brookwood Hospital.

The victim was a patient at the hospital’s Women’s Center.

24-year-old Precious Johnson had just given birth. She was the victim, police say, of a murder.

She was the only victim. But she was not the only target of gunfire.

Authorities report that her husband, 19-year-old Kynath William Terry Jr., also died — having shot his wife multiple times before turning his weapon on himself.

Hospital maternity wards are not necessarily common sites for a murder-suicide.

However, it appears that the couple had been having marital difficulties.

Johnson reportedly did not want her husband or in-laws present for the delivery.

It reportedly came to a surprise to the aforementioned in-laws that Kynath was violent.

Similarly, it is unclear if this murder-suicide was the first incidence of violence or simply the final escalation. In most cases (about 75%) of spousal murder-suicides, it is the latter.

Naturally, in addition to grieving (and bewildered) family members and loved ones, a man shooting his wife multiple times and then killing himself has shaken the hospital.

Danne Howard is the president of the Alabama Hospital Association.

She spoke to multiple outlets, including WVTM and WBRC, following this senseless act of violence.

“There are a few places in our world where we should feel safe — at church, our hospitals, and our homes,” Howard told WBRC.

“Unfortunately, things happen and we do not feel safe anymore,” she acknowledged.

This news footage shows the outside of the hospital on the fateful night of the murder-suicide. (Image Credit: WVTM 13)

“We want to assure the public that our hospitals and our health care providers consider safety just as important as providing quality health care,” Howard emphasized.

WVTM conducted a walkthrough of the hospital’s maternity area the day after the shooting.

The reporter and camera operator were not stopped or challenged during their route, despite the presumably heightened sense of alert.

It is possible or even likely that a reporter with a camera operator were noticed but not flagged as suspicious amidst a breaking news story. (That, in and of itself, can be a security concern.)

We can also point out that a casual walkthrough will likely become more difficult in the future, as a direct result of this unthinkable crime.

Kynath William Terry Jr.
Kynath William Terry Jr. had finished his National Guard certification prior to his murder-suicide. (Image Credit: WVTM 13)

Additionally, maternity ward murder-suicides are generally less likely to spawn copycats than other forms of shootings.

The terror of murdering your partner is different than the terror of slaughtering a room full of strangers, even if the two crimes famously overlap at times.

People who murder their partners are often motivated by a sudden change or loss of control, coupled with a fear of how their image or reputation will change.

Was Johnson planning to leave her husband? Had she already left?

Perhaps the investigation will turn up answers. For now, we’re heartbroken for her, her newborn, and for her entire family that she was unable to leave that marriage alive.

Alaska lawmakers question release of voter data to DOJ

Judiciary presentation on March 2 on voter data sharing, photo courtesy of KTOO

NOTN- Alaska lawmakers are examining why the state turned over confidential voter information, including birth dates and parts of Social Security and driver’s license numbers to the U.S. Department of Justice.

In a joint hearing Monday of the House Judiciary and House State Affairs committees, Rep. Andrew Gray said the U.S. Justice Department’s 2025 request for complete voter registration lists from every state was unprecedented.

“This request by DOJ has never happened before, the Department of Justice has never asked for the confidential information of voters at any point in our history.” Gray said.

Alaska first sent only public voter information, but in December agreed to transmit a full electronic file with all data fields visible.

“On December 19, under the authority of Lieutenant Governor Nancy Dahlstrom, the state agreed to transmit an electronic voter file with all data fields visible, records were provided that included voter’s full names, dates of birth, residential addresses and either driver’s license numbers or the last four digits of social security numbers. Not every single state responded the way Alaska did.” Said Gray.

Attorney Libby Bakalar, who formerly represented Alaska’s Division of Elections, told lawmakers the disclosure likely conflicts with state law and Alaska’s constitutional right to privacy.

“Before I get into why this data transfer is problematic, if not unconstitutional, I just want to offer some context on the relationship between the state and federal government when it comes to running elections, the administration of elections in this country is the purview of the states. Those of you on the committee who support states’ rights would be pleased to know that states, including Alaska, maintain a lot of leeway and control over how their elections are run, issues like voter identification and voter list maintenance have historically fallen within the state’s remit. There is good reason for this.” She said, “For example, Alaska’s voter ID law allows for tribal IDs and confirmation of identity by a poll worker’s personal knowledge of the voter which aids voting in rural Alaska, where voters may not hold driver’s licenses or passports. We also have our own very detailed voter list maintenance statute that governs the way the division of elections adds and removes voters from the rolls and is supposed to determine who is eligible to vote in our state. The Alaska constitution, which affords greater protections of individual liberty than its federal counterpart, establishes a state based constitutional system of suffrage that includes provisions on the qualifications and disqualifications of voters. Perhaps most significantly, Alaska also has a specific constitutional provision that explicitly protects our citizens right to privacy.” She said.

Bakalar read from the federal agreement Alaska signed, under which the state pledged that within 45 days of receiving notice from DOJ about any “issues, insufficiencies, inadequacies, deficiencies, anomalies or concerns,” it would “clean its voter registration list by removing ineligible voters and resubmit the updated data.

“This process effectively turns Alaska’s independent voter list maintenance process into an audit and referendum by the federal government, in which the DOJ in Washington, has the final say over which Alaskans are allowed to vote here or not.” Bakalar said, “This has the potential to disenfranchise huge numbers of Alaskans at the whim of the DOJ, a whim which the DOJ may not necessarily be inclined to explain to the public’s satisfaction. And to what use will the DOJ put this data beyond just elections? We don’t know. We have seen aggressive immigration enforcement and unprecedented citizen surveillance under this administration. I think it’s fair to say that we cannot necessarily trust the federal government to use this data in good faith and for the purposes it claims.”

Election researcher Dr. Paul Manson of Portland State University warned that federal databases used to check voter eligibility are imperfect and often return non-matches that may still be U.S. citizens due to data inconsistencies.

He said that federal law bars large-scale voter removals in the 90 days before federal elections.

Lawmakers plan further questioning of state officials and experts about whether the Dunleavy administration’s cooperation was legally required and what protections now exist for Alaskans’ personal data.
