As we previously reported, Robert Cosby Jr. was found dead inside a friend’s Salt Lake City home this week.
The son of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby was just 23 years old.
We still don’t have an official cause of death but the Salt Lake City Police Department has confirmed that officers arrived at the home in response to a report of a possible overdose.

When they arrived, Robert had already passed away. Police reportedly administered Narcan, but they were unable to revive him.
Now, we have new information about the troubled young man’s final days.
In November, Robert’s wife, Alexiana Smokoff, filed for divorce.
She was granted a pretrial restraining order, and Robert was arrested for violating its terms.
We learned today that he was also arrested in early February, this time on domestic violence charges.

According to a new report from TMZ, Cosby was charged with felony aggravated assault, and felony assault, both stemming from domestic violence counts.
The alleged victim is referred to only by her initials, AS. Though Smokoff is not named in full, for obvious reasons, it’s been widely assumed that she was the one who made the complaint.
According to a police report, Cosby “beat her about the face and head, and kicked her in the stomach.”
The attack allegedly left visible injuries, and police reported that AS was “red and swollen, her left eye has a lump below the eyebrow, and there is a red mark visible on A.S.’s neck.”
Those who know her best say that Mary was a strong supporter of her son’s as he battled mental health and substance abuse issues.

“Devastatingly sad news out of SLC. This is every parent’s worst nightmare. My heart is broken for Mary, and I am sending all my love to her and Robert Sr,” Andy Cohen wrote on social media this week (via People).
“My heart goes out to you and your family. I pray he is now resting in peace,” Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey chimed in, adding:
“May God cover you during this incredibly difficult time. My prayers are with you. We love you Mary.”
The start of filming for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 7 has reportedly been delayed in response to Robert’s death.
Our thoughts go out to his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

This article mentions sensitive topics such as sexual assault and child sexual assault, resources for victims in Alaska can be found here.
NOTN- Alaska lawmakers are considering legislation that would raise the state’s age of consent from 16 to 18, a change the sponsor statement says would strengthen protections for teenagers and make it easier to prosecute sexual assault and exploitation.
House Bill 101, sponsored by Rep. Andrew Gray, was introduced as Alaska continues to report some of the highest rates of sexual violence in the country.
“Alaska has the highest rate of rape in the country, which is over 3 times the national average.” Gray said at a Senate Judiciary hearing, “We also have one of the highest rates of child sexual assault in the country, over 6 times the national average, according to the UAA Justice Centers’ Alaska Victimization Survey.”
Under current law, 16- and 17-year-olds can legally consent to sex with adults, which supporters say creates a loophole that complicates prosecutions. Survivors often must prove they did not consent, even when there is a clear power imbalance between adults and teens, which Gray says makes the successful prosecution of cases difficult.
HB 101 would close that gap by establishing that minors under 18 cannot legally consent to sexual activity with adults. The bill includes a four-year “close-in-age” exemption so consensual relationships between peers are not criminalized.
The Anchorage Police Department has formally endorsed the bill. In a letter to lawmakers, Police Chief Sean Case said officers regularly see the harm caused by sexual abuse and exploitation and that the bill would give law enforcement clearer authority to protect minors and hold offenders accountable.
“On behalf of the Anchorage Police Department, I express our strong support for House Bill 101. This legislation strengthens protections for Alaska’s youth by aligning our criminal statutes with the realities of adolescent development and the responsibility of adults to safeguard minors from exploitation and harm.” The letter said.

Turning Point Action, the political organization founded by the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, will bring together U.S. and international politicians at a conference next week — including members of far-right parties across the globe.
Markus Frohnmaier, a political leader from the far-right German party Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), is among the announced guests at the Alliance of Sovereign Nations, scheduled for March 4 to 6 in Washington. Other guests include House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.); Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.); George Simion, founder of the far-right Alliance for the Union of Romanians; and European Parliament members Barbara Bonte of the far-right Vlaams Belang party and Petra Steger of Austria’s right-wing Freiheitliche Partei (FPÖ).
In an interview, Turning Point Action COO Tyler Bowyer said the event was “spurred” by Luna and that more attendees will be announced soon. He referred to the parties that will be represented, including AfD, as “center-right.”
Germany’s Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution in May 2025 classified parts of the AfD as “proven right-wing extremist” for being an alleged threat to the country’s democratic order and agitating against migrants. But the party filed a legal challenge, and a court made a temporary ruling this week suspending the designation until the case is fully decided.
“There’s a lot of people from a lot of different countries that are representing center-right politics across the world. So it’s important to hear everyone,” Bowyer said. “There’s a lot of things going wrong in Germany right now. It’s important to hear everybody out.”
A spokesperson for Johnson didn’t respond to an inquiry. A rep for Luna declined to comment. In a social media post Wednesday morning, Luna wrote, “Next week members of government from around the world will be coming together at the Alliance of Sovereign Nations! @SpeakerJohnson will be there!”
The conference’s mission statement declares “every country has a rightful obligation to defend its sovereignty and put their interests first,” according to its website. The conference is also sponsored by Republicans for National Renewal.
The AfD party has gained increasing support in Trump’s Washington. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance have condemned efforts to label the party as extremist. Frohnmaier has recently traveled several times to Washington for meetings with Luna and other Republican representatives as well as State Department officials. State Department officials have accused the German government of suppressing freedom of opinion, an accusation the German government strongly rejects. Sarah Rogers, undersecretary of State for diplomacy, this week called a criminal investigation by German police of a critical post directed at German Chancellor Friedrich Merz “a case of lèse-majesté.”
In October, Luna posted on X that she met with Anna Rathert, a member of Germany’s federal parliament who’s part of the AfD’s parliamentary group and member of the foreign affairs committee in Bundestag. She and other members of Congress also met with Kay Gottschalk and other members of the AfD in Washington in December. She praised the party as “actually working to strengthen ties with the United States and restore a healthy relationship between our governments” and accused Germany’s chancellor of “trashing our president and censoring German citizens.”
In an interview with Welt last November, Luna said she was planning the conference as an event that “will counter Davos” and be more focused on “the sovereignty of nations.”
In Germany, AfD currently polls in second place, only a few percentage points behind the governing Christian Democrats of Merz.
Last December, Frohnmaier was awarded a prize at the New York Young Republican Club gala for AfD’s “courageous work undertaken in the particularly suppressive and hostile political environment of Germany,” as the invitation stated.
Only weeks earlier, the New York State Young Republicans chapter was disbanded after POLITICO reported on a group chat in which leaders praised Adolf Hitler and joked about the Holocaust.

The Traitors celebrated the premiere of Season 4 with a cast party.
Unfortunately, Lisa Rinna got more than she bargained for in the process.
She’s debunking claims that she drank too much. What actually happened was more sinister.
Someone dosed her with fentanyl and more, Lisa warns.

According to Lisa, her post-The Traitors night out in West Hollywood led to alarming symptoms.
The culprit? Someone dosed her drink with a drug cocktail.
“Did you take like a test or something?” Good Day New York co-host Rosanna Scotto asked.
“I did,” the actress and Bravolebrity confirmed. “I had fentanyl in my system.”
Lisa continued: “Yes. I’m not kidding. I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines, and other things.”
If you want further details, however, you may have to wait until pending matters are resolved.
“But I can’t talk a lot about it because we’re still dealing with it,” Lisa shared apologetically.
She explained: “It was leaked and my team is dealing with it now.”
As for the culprit? If Lisa has any theories, she isn’t sharing.
“I can’t say,” she admitted before revealing the venue: “But it was at the Abbey in West Hollywood.”

One of the (multiple) good reasons to not go out drinking or partying solo is that someone might, well, poison you.
Fortunately, Lisa was not alone. Her husband, Harry Hamlin, was by her side. He helped her to leave.
“So many people that I know have had this happen at the Abbey. All my daughter’s friends,” she stated.
“I mean, this is not a first-time thing,” Lisa emphasized. “This is something that’s gone on for years.”
She continued: “And I do think it needs to be a conversation. And I’m glad now that it’s out and we will deal with it. I just haven’t had my own time to do that yet.”

The Abbey is a well-known West Hollywood bar and nightclub. It is the inspiration for Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club.”
So well known, in fact, that even those of us who live on the other side of the country know that it is a notorious location for malefactors to strike.
There are numerous stories of pickpocketing rings who target patrons at the bar and adjoining nightclub. Pickpockets will sometimes roofie bar patrons (this is not exclusive to The Abbey) to make them easier to rob.
The Abbey is a famous — even historic — gay bar and a fixture within Boystown, with hundreds of employees.
But Lisa is, as she notes, far from the first person who has had her night out ruined by an opportunist who sees the guests as easy pickings.

It’s very likely that Lisa would not even be discussing this publicly if the story had not leaked.
Whether or not she has identified the culprit who dosed her drink, it appears that she will be taking legal action.
Pickpocketing is not a victimless crime. Even if someone has enough extra cash to go clubbing, losing more than they planned to spend could mean missing rent, being unable to get a safe ride home, or worse.
We’re sorry that this happened to Lisa. We’re sorry that this happened to anyone.
It’s unclear if she’ll be able to identify those responsible — but it has to be a good thing that she’s making the effort.
