Finesse2Tymes is catching heat at home—his mom, Pluria Alexander, says she’s getting kicked out after he stopped footing the bill and now she’s begging for help online.

Alexander launched a GoFundMe asking for $6K to cover moving costs after claiming her son bailed on her financially and emotionally.

Pluria says she’s now locked in a fight to stay housed in Texas after her landlord gave her a few days to pay up or pack it up. In the GoFundMe description, she didn’t sugarcoat anything.

“I’m reaching out for help as I face eviction and the urgent need to find a new place to live. Until recently, my son was helping me pay my bills, but after a falling out, I’ve been left to manage everything on my own,” Alexander said.

She added that this isn’t the first time he’s left her out to dry. “This is the third time my son’s actions have left me homeless and each time it becomes harder to recover.”

Before she moved to Texas, Alexander says she had her life together in Memphis with a steady job, her own place and a car. Now she’s struggling with anxiety, depression and what she describes as “narcissistic abuse” from her son.

On top of that, she’s got a legal mess to deal with. Alexander says she got caught up in a scam involving Nigerian fraudsters last year and is now dealing with a pending money laundering charge.

She says that the charge is making it nearly impossible for her to find a new apartment.

“I’ve already been denied by three different apartments,” she wrote.

She’s asking for help to cover moving costs, transportation and security deposits so she can stay close to family and try to get back on her feet.

“I’m doing everything I can to stay close to my family and maintain my health, but the stress is overwhelming,” Alexander said.

Alexander says she’s not ashamed to ask for help.

“Your support would mean the world to me. It would give me a chance to start over, stay near my loved ones, and focus on my health and well-being while I navigate this difficult legal situation,” she said.

Cardi B took a jab at plus-size folks while hyping her upcoming Am I The Drama? album merch drop and used her BBL as her defense card.

The Bronx rap queen hit Instagram Live and cracked a joke about underestimating how many 3XL tees she needed for her album bundles.

“So the box sets are completely sold out, especially because you fat f####, clearly you guys are fat as f###, no Chick-fil-A for y’all.”

She kept the same energy, saying, “I could body shame people cause y’all body-shame me. If y’all body shame me, I could body shame y’all. You could talk about my body and I talk about yours, so it doesn’t matter. I call you fat, though it’s not a big deal. You can talk about my BBL all day, but I haven’t talked about you being fat all day.”

The comments set off some backlash online, but Cardi circled back on another Live to explain she clowns everybody and doesn’t care who gets mad.

She pointed out how she’s been roasted for her body for years and doesn’t lose sleep over it anymore.

“It got to the point that when people talk s### about my body, I don’t even care no more. You want to know why? ‘Cause I’m content with how I look and I’m not laying in that table no more. I’m 33 and I’m old as f### and I got s### to do. I can’t take two months off no more cause I got surgery. I’m not gonna apologize though cause ya’ll sensitive cause ya’ll wanna cry about some dumb s###.”

This isn’t the first time she’s had to speak on her BBL.

She previously clapped back at a wild rumor claiming Stefon Diggs ghosted her over the smell of it.

Cardi shut that narrative down quick, saying, “First of all, I don’t know who made that up. But, btch, that’s you … That’s on you, btch. That could never be me.”

So while Cardi’s catching flak over her merch rollout, she’s standing ten toes down—BBL and all.

Janice Smalls is calling BS on a lawsuit that claims she helped her son Diddy screw over a former Bad Boy exec out of millions—saying she had nothing to do with that mess and wants the whole thing tossed.

The 84-year-old mom of the Hip-Hop mogul is fighting back in Manhattan federal court, where Kirk Burrowes is suing over a piece of Bad Boy Entertainment he says was snatched from him back in the ’90s.

Burrowes is coming for Diddy, his longtime lawyer Kenneth Meiselas, and now Smalls—claiming she played clean-up crew after he was allegedly forced to give up his 25% stake and 15% profit cut in 1996.

Smalls says that’s all cap.

In new court papers, she’s asking the judge to shut it down, saying she’s never owned a piece of Bad Boy, had zero involvement in the alleged strong-arm play and hasn’t even lived in New York since 2012.

She’s been in Florida, minding her business and paying taxes like everyone else.

Burrowes has already tried to get this case off the ground—twice.

First in 2003, then again in state court. Both got booted for being way past the deadline. Smalls’ lawyers say this third try is more of the same, calling it “frivolous” and “preposterous.”

Burrowes claims Diddy and Meiselas threatened him into signing over his stake and says Smalls later helped hide the whole thing.

He even says she admitted it at a Diana Ross party in 2019. But Smalls’ team says even if that were true, the statute of limitations still ran out before Burrowes filed in 2025.

The legal squad also argues that the fraud claims don’t have the receipts required under court rules, and that the rest of the lawsuit is just a remix of old contract beefs dressed up as new charges.

They say the “unjust enrichment” and “conversion” claims are basically the same thing, that the consumer fraud law doesn’t apply, and that “civil conspiracy” isn’t even a valid claim in New York without a real crime to back it.

Bottom line, Smalls says she’s not the villain here and wants out of this legal circus.

The judge hasn’t ruled yet, and Burrowes’ lawyers haven’t said a word.

Conway The Machine and Freddie Gibbs might just be friends. The digital streets are whispering.

Rumors recently swirled after Benny The Butcher and Conway allegedly clashed while overseas in Paris.

What was supposed to be a powerful show turned into a rumor-fest, with each artist performing separately. But the rumors don’t stop there. One source described it as more than a simple disagreement — claiming a physical altercation nearly broke out, leaving one person knocked out and another allegedly pulling a knife. Since then, Benny and his team have gone radio silent, neither confirming nor denying the incident.

What makes the situation even messier is that Conway has shown a lot of love for Gibbs – post-fight. This is bold considering the known history between Freddie Gibbs and Benny’s crew.

Years ago, Gibbs and Benny had a serious public feud. And when Gibbs went to Benny’s hometown of Buffalo, he got jumped. While Gibbs still took the stage afterward, he performed visibly bruised. It was no secret that Benny’s camp was suspected of being involved.

It was the kind of moment that made Hip-Hop heads wince. I cringed. Benny and Gibbs had cooked up some of the best lyrical work together before things went sour. Watching violence cut short that creative magic was a reminder of how fragile greatness can be when ego and street politics get in the way.

How did we get to this parallel universe? This is wack!

It’s not clear whether Conway’s positive vibes and love for all have reignited old tensions, but some observers are connecting the dots. We need answers. After all, Benny and Conway are family, and in Hip-Hop, loyalty still carries weight. But, Conway once rapped, “pick a side.”

For now, there’s no confirmation on what caused the alleged Paris fallout. But Griselda’s silence on the matter only fuels rumors. Each artist continues to move solo, promoting projects and performing without acknowledging the growing whispers. Talk to us. Or, better yet, talk to each other. You guys need each other more than you think.

In an era where grown-man rap and lyrical excellence are already rare, watching Griselda and Gibbs beef is more than disappointing. We need this to work out. It’s a reminder that while rap beef has always been part of the game, so is growth.

Hip-Hop doesn’t always make space for peace. But that doesn’t mean the artists can’t.

DJ Hurricane will lead a star-studded tribute to two Hip-Hop pioneers—Jam Master Jay and MCA—during JMJ-MCA Day on Sunday (August 10) at the Coney Island Aquarium Mural Boardwalk in New York City, where the music will run from 12 to 6 p.m. ET.

The event, presented by Together Forever and backed by Category 6, Hurricane’s upcoming album, will feature performances from a lineup of Hip-Hop royalty.

Jam Master Jay’s son, DJ Jam Master J’Son, the Juice Crew’s Craig G, House of Pain’s Danny Boy, Kool Rock Ski of the Fat Boys, T La Rock, Schoolly D and Chief Rocker Busy Bee are all set to take the stage alongside DJ Hurricane, who rose to fame as the longtime DJ for the Beastie Boys.

The celebration honors the legacies of two foundational figures in Hip-Hop history. Jam Master Jay, the influential DJ of Run-DMC, helped bring turntablism into the mainstream and played a key role in merging rap with rock. He was shot and killed in a Queens recording studio on October 30, 2002. His death remained unsolved for years before two suspects were indicted in 2020.

Adam “MCA” Yauch,  a founding member of the Beastie Boys, was known for his gravelly voice, activism and vision that helped steer the group from party anthems to more socially conscious material. He died on May 4, 2012, after a three-year battle with cancer of the parotid gland.

JMJ-MCA Day aims to honor their contributions through music, community and celebration. The event is free and open to the public.

Gillie Da King clapped back at trolls accusing him of sacrificing his own son, YNG Cheese, after the 25-year-old was gunned down in Philly last summer.

The Philly rapper and podcast host wasn’t here for the wild internet theories floating around about his son’s murder and let it fly during a recent convo.

“My son got murdered in a ghetto in Philadelphia, standing on the corner. But n***as talk about ‘I sacrificed my son,’” he said, clearly fed up. “Do you know how ignorant that is, bro?”

Gillie Da King didn’t sugarcoat a thing and made it crystal clear that no keyboard warrior could mess with his peace.

“Listen, do you understand how I’m one of the realest n##### ever living, man? You can’t offend me by typing some dumb s### at the bottom of the joint,” he snapped.

He explained that he’s already made peace with the loss of his son, born Devin Spady, who was shot in the back during a triple shooting in the Olney section of Philly on July 20, 2023.

He flipped the hate right back on the trolls, calling out their bad karma.

“All you’re doing is putting negative energy on yourself. All you’re doing is shortening somebody’s life up on your side. So when your mama or one of your aunts or your brother check out in the next six months, you put that negative energy on them. The world works off of energy buddy.”

He was especially heated by the idea that anyone would think he’d sacrifice his own kid for clout or money.

“You on here telling a n####, a solid n#### like me, that he killed his son for money. A n#### think he’s hurting me by typing that s###. He’s hurting his own family,” Gillie Da King added.

Months after the shooting, Gillie said the cops told him that the alleged shooter was 17-year-old Noah Scurry, a high school basketball standout who was fatally shot himself in January 2025 outside his home.

Gillie Da King said his son wasn’t even the intended target—someone else was caught in street drama and YNG Cheese got caught in the crossfire.

The whole thing’s been a public nightmare for the Million Dollaz Worth of Game co-host, who’s been using his platform to speak on gun violence ever since.

Diddy thinking he can coach domestic abusers after being convicted himself is not going over well—his accusers and their legal teams are calling BS on the whole thing.

The Hip-Hop mogul is reportedly pitching a redemption arc that involves him mentoring others who’ve committed abuse, which his lawyers are using to try and snag a lighter sentence.

But the folks who’ve accused him say this whole “counselor” gig is a joke—and not a funny one.

Douglas Wigdor, who represents Cassie Ventura, told Rolling Stone, “This is utterly preposterous. How are you going to counsel someone else when you haven’t done the work on yourself? This is manipulation at its best.”

Let’s back up—Diddy was hit with a guilty verdict in July for violating the Mann Act, which means he crossed state lines with people for illegal sex acts.

That conviction came after a long list of lawsuits and a video from 2016 that CNN dropped last year, showing him beating on Cassie at a hotel in LA.

He apologized after the video came out, but critics say it’s way too little, way too late. His sentencing is locked in for October 3, and his team’s trying to spin this “I want to help others” angle hard.

But Wigdor isn’t buying it.

“It’s a mockery of the system. It’s a mockery of everyone he’s harmed. He needs intensive therapy,” he told Rolling Stone.

Kodak Black is getting dragged by his ex and baby mama, Maranda Johnson, who claims the rapper put his hands on her and left her with a busted jaw—while he’s out here whining about child support.

Johnson went off online, airing out years of alleged abuse and calling out Kodak for ducking his responsibilities.

“You knocked me out and dislocated my jaw,” she said. “Police came to the house. I protected you. I’m always protecting you, I’m just always protecting your image, period.”

This comes after Johnson filed for over $56k a month in child support, based on Kodak’s reported income.

A judge didn’t give her that much, but ordered him to cough up $8,500 a month for now. Kodak clapped back, telling her to “get a job” and calling the amount wild.

But Johnson isn’t backing down.

“I never requested $56,000. Based off his income, that’s how much his children are entitled to an I’m still not even asking for half of that,” she said. She also said she’s been doing everything solo when it comes to taking care of their kids. “It’s like pulling teeth getting him to try to do anything for his kids,” Johnson said.

Things between them got even messier after a birthday bash for one of Kodak’s kids at The Manor nightclub in Wilton Manors, Florida. Kodak invited all three of his baby mamas, and surprise—chaos broke out.

Johnson allegedly popped off, yanked another woman’s wig off and threw punches.

It didn’t stop at fists either. Cops say property inside the club got wrecked—think busted toilet, smashed monitor, broken printer.

Johnson got picked up later at the courthouse and slapped with five felony counts of criminal mischief. She’s now locked up in Broward Main Jail with her bond set at $12,500.

This isn’t her first rodeo either. Johnson had previous run-ins with Kodak’s other baby moms that also ended in cuffs. She’s due back in court on August 18 for this latest mess.

Johnson says she’s been holding Kodak down for years, even shielding him from legal trouble.

“You always put your hands on me, and I never sent you to jail. I never played police games with you, bro. Like, this s### is lame. Like, you’re lame for that.”

Ice-T is stepping behind the camera with Fame and Fentanyl, a two-hour A&E special airing August 25 at 9 P.M. ET, spotlighting the deadly grip of fentanyl across America and the lives it continues to steal—including those of Prince, Mac Miller, and Coolio.

The Hip-Hop icon serves as both host and executive producer of the documentary, which weaves together harrowing stories from grieving families, law enforcement officials and the music industry’s most tragic losses.

The project aims to expose the scope of fentanyl’s devastation and educate viewers on its lethal presence in the drug supply.

“Fentanyl, for me, came out of nowhere. By the time I learned about the drug, I had already lost people to it. It’s a poison in the drug world, and I wanted to do everything that I could to make people aware of its danger,” Ice-T said in a statement about the project. “Everyone knows someone who has fallen victim to fentanyl.”

The film arrives as the U.S. sees a sharp decline in overdose deaths.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, drug-related fatalities dropped from 110,037 in 2023 to 80,391 in 2024—a 27% decrease.

Opioid overdoses, including those involving fentanyl, fell from 83,140 to 54,743 during the same period. Still, fentanyl remains the leading cause of overdose deaths, accounting for nearly 70% of all drug fatalities.

“These are the stories that everyone needs to hear,” Ice-T added.

Among those stories are the high-profile deaths of artists who unknowingly consumed fentanyl-laced substances. Prince died in 2016 after taking counterfeit painkillers containing the synthetic opioid.

Mac Miller passed away in 2018 from a mix of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol.

Coolio, best known for “Gangsta’s Paradise,” died in 2022 with fentanyl, heroin and methamphetamine in his system.

The list continues with Rich Homie Quan, who died in 2024 from a combination of fentanyl, codeine, alprazolam and promethazine.

The documentary dives into how fentanyl is often consumed unknowingly, as it’s frequently mixed with other substances.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, 5 out of 10 pills tested in 2024 contained a potentially lethal dose of fentanyl—down from 7 out of 10 the year before.

The CDC also reported that overdose rates are still disproportionately high among Black, Hispanic, American Indian and multiracial populations, with the highest death rates among adults over 55.

Doechii reacted with disbelief and gratitude when Lady Gaga called her “immediately legendary” in a recent British Vogue interview, a moment the rising Hip-Hop artist described as both validating and surreal.

The “Denial is a River” performer told People she was utterly taken aback when she learned about the praise from the pop icon.

“I audibly gasped, literally,” she said. “I’m the biggest Lady Gaga fan, and she is so dedicated to her creativity and pushing the limits, so for a legend like that to say that about me, it really, really validated me in a humbling way.”

Gaga, in her British Vogue feature, didn’t hold back her admiration.

“You don’t often see someone come out of the gate with a pen that feels immediately legendary,” Gaga said. “That’s Doechii to me.”

Despite the admiration being mutual, Doechii explained why she hasn’t sought advice from the “Abracadabra” singer.

“I think when you meet Lady Gaga, she naturally has an essence about her,” she said. “You just kind of listen, and you don’t even have to ask her for anything. I think she just pours herself naturally onto people.”

Known for her genre-blending sound and lyrical edge, Doechii has already collaborated with artists like Lauryn Hill and Tyler, the Creator.

But when asked who she’d love to work with next, she didn’t hesitate.

“Let’s see. I mean, at this point, Beyoncé,” she said. “She’s the standard. Yeah, I’m going to say Bey.”
