Earlier this week, we reported on a viral Instagram post about Taylor Swift’s drinking habits.

A content creator named E.B. Johnson made a video in which she addressed allegations made by Swifties that the pop icon’s previous boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, was an alcoholic.

Johnson pointed out that Taylor and her current partner, Travis Kelce, both appear to be fairly heavy drinkers (at least on occasion), so it might be a bit hypocritical for fans to slam Joe’s boozing.

Now, she’s followed that post up with a video alleging that Taylor’s binge-drinking habit is not a new one.

Johnson begins the video by introducing an article from 2015 with the headline:

“The Weeknd Says Drunk Taylor Swift Wouldn’t Stop Stroking His Hair”

“Well whaddya know? Looks like ‘Tini Taylor strikes again,” she captioned the post below.

In the clip, Johnson continues to make her case that Taylor might be a heavier drinker than her fans would like to believe.

“We’re gonna focus on the drunk part, but that’s hugely problematic in a number of ways,” Johnson says, referring to Taylor’s treatment of The Weeknd.

“I think if we put the heavy drinking in the context of Taylor Swift, her behaviors, the people she’s surrounding herself with, it all starts to make a lot of sense,” she continues.

From there, Johnson notes how the version of herself that Taylor presents to the world — “the happiest, luckiest girl, so in love, getting married to her soulmate” — doesn’t quite jibe with being a heavy drinker.

After all, Blissfully happy people generally don’t feel the need to numb themselves with booze on a regular basis.

“If you’re so happy, why are you binge drinking?” Johnson asks.

Addiction is, of course, a very complex issue, and none of us knows for sure how much Taylor drinks, or her reasons for imbibing.

In the comments, however, Johnson’s followers generally concurred that her observations make a lot of sense.

“I like her music and I follow her and I can tell you: she has a drinking problem and it’s been the elephant in the room for years in the fandom. But she is functional, so nobody really cares,” one person wrote.

“Also the fact that she’s said there have been multiple occasions that Travis has been too wasted to be able to show up for her, and yet she’s still gonna marry that man. She doesn’t see that as a red flag; she sees that as a soulmate,” another added.

Several pointed out that Taylor herself sang, “I was a functioning alcoholic” on the song “Fortnight” from her Tortured Poets Department album.

It’s worth noting that Taylor used the past tense, seemingly indicating that she no longer has a problem with booze.

Hopefully, if she ever needed help, she found it.

But clearly, quite a few people are of the opinion that Taylor is still hitting the bottle too hard.

Though Javi Marroquin has a wife and life of his own, he’ll always be linked to Kailyn Lowry.

Last year, he put her on blast after she moved a new man into the house such a short time after her breakup with her cheating ex-fiance.

Kail accuses him of playing both sides — showing her sympathy, then trashing her to the public.

But Javi says that this isn’t what happened. He’s sharing his own version of their conversation.

Truly a he-said, she-said situation

On Sunday, January 11, Kailyn took to her Patreon page to show off her newest boyfriend, Ike.

Ike is not new new. In fact, her ex-husband, Javi, blasted her over the rebound romance in June of 2025.

According to Kail — who put Javi on blast — he feigned sympathy over her breakup with Elijah, which happened only a short time before she moved Ike into the house.

However, when Javi went on Live, he wasn’t sounding sympathetic — dragging Kail for her, let’s be honest, bad choices.

Following Kailyn’s complaints (six months later), Javi is voicing his objections.

On Tuesday, January 13, Javi Marroquin shared his own version of how the phone call with Kailyn went down.

“None of this is even accurate!” he wrote in an Instagram comment.

Javi claimed that he had called Kail to handle a common co-parenting logistic: pick-ups and drop-offs for their son, Lincoln.

This was right after news of Elijah’s cheating had made headlines. And Javi acknowledges that he did ask if she was okay.

“You could hear she was upset,” he explained.

The call also touched upon a sore subject

“To make it seem like I was calling out of sympathy and for that sole purpose is comical,” Javi griped. “And Lauren knew about that call.”

In Kail’s version of events, Javi had offered advice because of his own cheating on Lauren Comeau.

He says that Kailyn was the one who brought it up.

“She literally cried and asked how me and Lauren got over it,” Javi claimed.

He continued: “Asked how Lauren learned to forgive me and learned to trust again.”

“My response [was], ‘Therapy and a lot of work, but those are questions you have to ask Lauren,’” Javi shared.

“So [for Kail] to bring up Lauren again is really getting old and unfair to her,” he complained.

When Kailyn was getting defensive about moving Ike into her home so quickly after ending her engagement to Elijah, she accused Javi of introducing Lincoln to “four or five women” over the years.

But Javi says that Lauren and (get ready for a blast from the past) Kail’s former castmate Briana DeJesus are the only women who he’s introduced to their son.

He also reasoned that introducing his son to the women he’s dating isn’t the same as moving a new man into the home so quickly. Say what you will about Javi, but that’s true!

If he could do it over again, Javi might not be so messy (one would hope)

All things considered, Javi Marroquin does now regret the Live from June of last year.

“I’m 33, about to have another baby with my wife,” he asserted.

“I shouldn’t have gone on Live,” Javi admitted. “But situations changed the moment Elijah was no longer in the picture.”

He detailed: “and I was getting ready to move and Linc was staying.”

What a mess! Javi is far from the ex with whom Kail has had the most conflict, but that hasn’t stopped them from clashing.

Did Sophie Turner break up Emma Roberts and Evan Peters?

That sounds like a stretch. Except that, as many on social media have noted, the timeline seems to match up.

Recently, Turner recalled how a simple, innocuous interaction on her part had led to a celebrity split.

Fans did a deep dive and came up with which high profile engagement she may have shattered. Are they right?

Did Sophie Turner ’cause’ Emma Roberts and Evan Peters to end their engagement?

It all started when Sophie appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Though she was primarily there to promote Trust, she also shared an anecdote about how waving her hand at an actor — at a friend’s behest — had led to a confrontation from his then-fiancee, an actress whom she admired.

She was careful to not identify anyone involved, however. Turner explained:

“I really can’t name names or I’ll get in a lot of trouble.”

The context was that Turner was at a San Diego Comic-Con party back in 2014. At the time, she was in her late teens.

At the request of her longtime friend, she had smiled and waved at an actor.

That was the full extent of the exchange.

“And then later on, I see this girl looking at me, and she’s a famous actress,” she recalled.

“And I was like, ‘Oh, I have to go and tell her how much she means to me.’”

Here’s why the timeline may point to those two

“I dance on over and she goes, ‘Can you stop f–king flirting with my fiance?’” Sophie Turner said of her encounter.

“And I was like, ‘Who’s your fiance?’ She points at the guy that I’d waved at,” she shared.

“And I have no idea who this man is.”

Turner dished: “And then turns out, I think they broke their engagement off that night because of my [wave]. I didn’t realize I held this power!”

Denizens of Reddit are speculating that Sophie Turner waved to Evan Peters, “earning” a rebuke from Emma Roberts.

First of all, Roberts was already making a name for herself as an actress. She was also starring on children’s television when Turner was young.

(Turner, who married and divorced a Jonas Brother, is not immune to feeling starstruck by celebrities from her tween years)

Additionally, redditors pointed to a 2014 The Daily Mail headline about a distraught Roberts following attending two SDCC parties with Peters.

Clearly Sophie Turner was not the actual problem

Just for the record, Emma Roberts and Evan Peters split and reconciled many times between 2012 and 2019, (almost) all without the help of Sophie Turner.

And, as we emphasized last week, if Turner waving and smiling an actor she didn’t know is was caused a breakup, it didn’t really have anything to do with her. (She and Peters would go on to work together in a couple of the later X-Men films)

Of course, no one — not Turner, not Peters, and not Roberts — has come forward to identify the couple that shattered at the wave of Turner’s hand.

That is probably very wise.
