Kate Gosselin Complains About ‘Stress and Strain’ of Training New Dog: …

Reading Time: 2 minutes

It’s no secret that Kate Gosselin is a dog-lover. At least, that’s the way that she sees it.

Critics would argue that she might not fully understand what it’s like to love and nurture unconditionally.

At any rate, one of her dogs died late last year.

In an emotional update, the disgraced former reality star is detailing the trials of adopting her newest dog.

‘It’s getting to be a lot’

On Tuesday, May 26, Gosselin took to her TikTok page to share a video in which she seemed to be emotional.

“I was just crying this morning,” she told viewers.

The video specified that this was the “day 12 update” on her recently adopted rescue dog, Koda.

“I’m tired,” Gosselin expressed. “It’s getting to be a lot, which makes me sound like a baby.”

She continued: “But the truth is, I’ve just been on watch constantly hoping nothing happens and watching them all the time.”

Gosselin had already adopted Meika, Koda’s sibling. Both are Belgian Malinois mixes. She is now seeking to integrate Koda into the household.

The disgraced former reality TV star explained that it has been “a lot” trying to manage the schedules of both dogs.

“Koda is a humongous personality,” she described.

“She is now very obsessed with her ball, equally as Meika, and she could run forever,” Gosselin listed.

“[Koda] destroyed a rug yesterday and she tried to destroy — this makes me cry — Nanuq’s bed that used to be Shoka’s,” Gosselin said of her late German Shepherds.

‘That would really break my heart’

“It’s our favorite bed. I’ve had it for 15 plus years or more … and it’s very special to me,” Gosselin expressed.

“[Koda] sleeps on it at night. It’s the bed we keep in our room. That really upset me. That would really break my heart. And I know that things get destroyed.”

Gosselin complained that the “pressure” and “strain and stress” have been “weighing on” her.

On her and on her former bodyguard, current boyfriend Steve Neild.

All of the stress, Gosselin reported, had caused her to “doubt” herself.

“At the end of the day, probably no one else would have saved her,” Gosselin then claimed about her new dog.

“So, I know that we’re doing a good thing,” she continued.

Gosselin declared: “We just have to hang in.”

Considering the sort of parent to human beings that she has shown herself to be, it is sad — but not a surprise — that the same institutions that allowed her to be a parent to eight (eventually, just six) kids also allow her to adopt dogs.

It seems that Gosselin sees herself as almost a martyr for adopting these dogs. That seems consistent with how many critics have described her.

Pam Bondi recovering from thyroid cancer treatment

Former Attorney General Pam Bondi is recovering from treatment for thyroid cancer, just weeks after leaving the Justice Department.

Bondi told CNN she had surgery a few weeks ago and is still undergoing treatment, but is “doing well.”

President Donald Trump ousted Bondi in April, having criticized her for failing to bring lawsuits against his perceived political foes. She had also faced bipartisan criticism over her handling of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Bondi, who is scheduled to testify before the House Oversight Committee on Jeffrey Epstein on Friday, will also be joining the administration’s Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. The council, announced in March, will provide recommendations to Trump on “strengthening American leadership in science and technology.”

“Pam has been an enormously valuable asset to the president’s team, and I’m thrilled for her and for all of us that she’s going to remain involved in confronting some of the most important issues the administration faces,” Vice President JD Vance said in a statement.

Bondi did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Amanda Conner’s Sister Says Ryan Edwards Nearly Killed Her By Strangulation

Reading Time: 3 minutes

As we previously reported, troubled Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards is back in the news after his wife, Amanda Conner, was arrested on suspicion of DUI over the holiday weekend.

Ryan was the one who called the cops, and while he also (reportedly) bailed Amanda out after she spent a few hours in police custody, it seems that that gesture wasn’t enough to make amends.

Later that same day, Amanda called the cops on Ryan and alleged that he had abused her. Now, her sister has entered the fray to corroborate those claims.

As The Ashley’s Reality Roundup first reported, Amanda’s sister, Ashley, took to Facebook earlier this week to share her own take on the situation.

“I did just wanna get on here and clear up a few things … in this whole situation involving my sister Amanda Conner and Ryan, y’all definitely don’t have the whole story,” Ashley stated, adding:

“There are large, like, very crucial elements to the story, to the situation, and not just that night … there’s large pieces of information missing that y’all don’t know about or whatever, because they were not brought to your attention.”

Ashley went on to accuse of Ryan of physically assaulting Amanda.

“I’m not taking up for Amanda, because you know, I’m not taking up for that at all, but I was on the phone with Amanda, she called me,” she said.

“[Ryan and Amanda] had got into it. They have been getting into it a lot here lately, and even to the point of him being physical with her, whooping her a–, choking her out,” Ashley continued, adding:

“I mean, it was a couple of months ago and he about killed her. I mean, choking her out, whooping her a– and everything. [He] about killed her and y’all don’t know about that because she didn’t call the police.”

Ashley went on to state that Amanda “probably definitely should have” called the police because “she thought that her life was going to end.”

“She lost consciousness multiple times and continued to be choked and strangled,” Ashley alleged.

As Teen Mom fans know, Ryan claims to be sober after several years of jail stints and court-ordered rehab. He met Amanda while they were both in recovery.

Now, Ashley is suggesting that Ryan and Amanda have both relapsed.

“There are no innocent bystanders in that situation,” she said.

“They’re right there, hand-in-hand. They are husband and wife, they live together. I mean, they’re both addicts, so take from that what you will … I’ll say that, that no, these assumptions that because he called the law that he is sober, that is a completely false narrative. That’s not true at all.”

Ashley went on to say that Ryan and Amanda were sober for the early days of their relationship — possibly while Amanda was pregnant with their first child — but she claims those days are gone.

“They were doing good for a good year-and-a-half [to] two years that I know of,” she said. “They were doing good, and when I say doing good, they were taking care of business, doing what they were supposed to be doing, sober– everybody was sober.”

Ashley sort of just trailed off at that point — but we think she made her point loud and clear.

Zach John King Makes Long-Awaited Grand Ole Opry Debut: ‘This is a Top Moment for Me’

Zach John King finally stepped into the circle of the Grand Ole Opry, making his debut on the historic stage on May 23, 2026.

The rising star learned that he would have the honor of crossing off this milestone in his career last December when his tour mate at the time, Luke Bryan, pulled him aside to give him the news.

Bryan called him over and asked, “you know what I’m doing?” King looked confused as he responded, “no.” The hitmaker put his arm around King as he informed him, “We just found out that he’s been asked to perform his first Grand Ole Opry show.”

“Seriously?” King asked. Moments later he became overwhelmed with emotion as the excitement sunk in and was speechless over the news.

The “Backwoods” singer was originally scheduled to make his debut on January 24 but it was postponed due to an historic winter storm that hit Nashville.

The long-awaited moment finally came this past Saturday. As the Sony Music Nashville artist took the stage wearing his “pops” boots, he performed his current radio single “Get To Drinkin’” as well as a brand-new song dropping this Friday titled, “Beneath The Pines.”

Reflecting on such an important experience in his career, King shared, “As somebody who’s versed in the history of country music and being a country musician myself, this is a top moment for me. The legacy of this place is something I grew up with. There’s this whole lineage of performers who came out of the Opry, and I’ve had so much respect for it my whole life.”

He continued, “To be able to stand in that circle with the people who came before me is just insane. My whole family was also there. We had about 90 friends and family make the trip up from Georgia, so it was just an incredibly special night.”

A heartfelt Instagram post that came after the milestone moment showed him sharing a tear-filled moment with his mom. The two of them were captured hugging each other tightly and celebrating the fact that King has made great strides in achieving his dreams.

King’s new song, “Beneath The Pines,” is one fans have been waiting very patiently for. It’s a love song, something rare in his catalog, penned by the Georgia native with Rodney Clawson, and Michael Lawson. His powerful vocals deliver a heart pounding story about what it feels like to be so deeply in love that you want to freeze time to savor the emotions.

Fans will get their hands on the full version of the track this Friday, May 29.

Zach John King also recently announced that most of his fall headline on the Get To Drinkin’ Tour are already sold out. Due to overwhelming demand, he added a second show in Nashville TN on November 4.

The country act still has plenty more shows to perform before embarking on his own run. He is currently serving as support for select dates for Morgan Wallen and Luke Bryan. Plus, fans can catch him at CMA Fest on the Platform Stage inside Nissan Stadium on Thursday, June 4.

Neal McDonough Says Hollywood Branded Him a ‘Religious Nut Bag’ & …

Reading Time: 3 minutes

There was a time when Neal McDonough was a rising star among actors.

Then, for a little while, he seemed to vanish — appearing in a few projects, but not so many.

Why was that?

The actor is opening up about how Hollywood branded him as a “religious nut bag” and blacklisted him for years.

‘They thought I was this religious nut bag’

Speaking to Fox News, McDonough recalled turning to alcohol when he believed that his acting career was over.

“What time is the bar open? That was generally my thought process back then,” he characterized.

“It was, you know, fired from a show because I wouldn’t kiss a woman,” McDonough explained.

“No one would hire me because they thought I was this religious nut bag,” he lamented.

“Which is that I love my wife so much,” McDonough continued. “And no one can understand it, no one could understand it.”

McDonough confessed that he “was always a drinker” even before this professional setback.

“It became a bad problem,” he acknowledged, after his refusal to kiss a co-star got him canned — and allegedly blackballed.

“I lost the house, lost the cars, lost everything,” McDonough lamented.

“’Justified’ was just coming out, but I still didn’t think I was worth anything because I failed to my family,” he expressed.

“I failed, [my wife] Ruve, my five kids, that I lost our house,” McDonough reiterated. “I lost all the beautiful things that were the shiny widgets that I had accumulated, were all taken away from me.”

‘It’s us or the bottle, you choose’

Using a very colorful characterization, he continued: “And that crucifixion caused me so much inner pain because I made it all about me. How could I let the team down?”

McDonough gave credit to his wife, Ruve, for giving him the ultimatum that saved him.

“She grabbed me and says, it’s us or the bottle, you choose,” he recalled.

Having now been married to Ruve for 25 years, he says that he “never looked back.”

McDonough went on to say that he has focused upon serving the God of his Christian beliefs “rather than serving me.”

McDonough is not wrong that, to many, his refusal to kiss a co-star became a memorable part of his story.

Even those of us who have enjoyed his acting roles — like in the MCU or his portrayal of Damien Darhk on Arrow (RIP in peace, The CW) — remember this quirk about his career.

Of course, he is not alone. For example, Penn Badgley made a similar comment, despite his starring role on the steamy stalker series, You.

Though McDonough has led a lengthy and successful career that doesn’t appear to have resume gaps like someone who’s been blacklisted might, that doesn’t mean that he didn’t take jobs that were less lucrative.

There is an argument to be made for actors needing to take certain actions on screen, from kissing to eating meat. Some things can be faked by a show, while others cannot. So long as everyone is up front about what they can and cannot do, things should work out.

McDonough also shared that the late, great Luke Perry gave him and his family a place to stay after they lost their home. He was such a deeply good person.
