In the first trailer released by TLC for Sister Wives Season 20, Kody Brown appears to hint at the possibility of taking on a new spouse.
He claims in this footage that some woman has reached out to him about such an option.
Is this actually the case? The aforementioned network clearly wants folks to tune in in order to find out.
But Christine Brown is as confused by the mere mention of this person as you likely are.
“I do not even know how to wrap my mind around what I have seen that they are even entertaining,” the mother of six said on a recent episode of The Sarah Fraser Show, clearly baffled by the preview and what it has teased.
“Are they? Is it just for [the] camera? I do not know. I just don’t know,” she added, stating of Kody and Robyn:
“But, I hope not, because what they have is a soulmate situation. They really do.”
Christine was the first member of this plural family to walk away, announcing she was leaving Kody in November 2021; over the subsequent year or so, Janelle and Meri went ahead and made the same decision.
This leave Kody with Robyn as his only wife… at least for now.
In the Season 20 sneak peek, Kody reveals to Robyn that there might be a new addition to the household.
“I got another one of those emails from some woman asking, sort of, to get to know us for the purpose of joining the family,” he says in this video, much to Robyn’s apparent shock and chagrin.
New episodes of this reality show kick off on Sunday, September 28 — but Christine has been making plenty of headlines in the meantime.
Her brand new memoir came out earlier this month, and it consists of this TLC personality dropping one truth bomb after another.
For example?
In one passage, Christine talks for the first time about a past addiction to pain medication.
In another, she slams Kody as an insensitive A-Hole for the way he acted when he took her virginity after the two got spiritually married.
Christine recalls in the book her first sexual experience as hurting “like crazy” and leaving her in tears, largely because “there was no foreplay.”
“There was no anything,” she writes. “It was my very first time after having my very first kiss at the altar, and he was experienced so he should have known.”
Brown even admits she was “crying from the pain” afterward, disappointed and heartbroken.
“I envisioned hand-holding, moonlight, gentle touches,” she says. “I imagined feeling beautiful and adored. I imagined a loving acknowledgment of our eternal life together.”

Is Sydney Sweeney pregnant?
The immensely talented actress is always a hot topic, and not only because she’s remarkably gorgeous.
Some of her fans are very weird. And a lot of them are having very mixed reactions to rumors of her pregnancy.
Is she pregnant? Here’s what we know.
Who’s saying that Sydney Sweeney is pregnant?
Sometimes, an exciting new report comes out to reveal a hush-hush pregnancy.
Back in 2017, that happened with Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, with news breaking back-to-back. It was ages before either of them confirmed the reports, even indirectly. But the world knew.
In contrast, there’s no (even remotely credible) report claiming that Sydney Sweeney is pregnant.
The topic is coming up a different way.
Rather than one jaw-dropping, semi-credible report claiming that the Euphoria star is expecting, it’s more that people on social media are talking about it.
We don’t just mean in the kink or amorous sense, though there’s plenty of that.
Some folks cannot even pretend to hide their thirst.
People are talking about Sweeney actually being pregnant — now or in the near future. What’s up with that?
Why are people saying that she’s pregnant?
The whispers about Sweeney being pregnant are not coming from sightings of an alleged baby bump. Rather, some are merely the incredible power of suggestion.
Recently, the actress has starred in two films in which her character is pregnant.
The first is Immaculate. And, more recently, in Eden, where she portrays an actual historical figure.
In fact, she portrays very dramatic, violent childbirths in both the religious horror film and in the survival thriller.
Immaculate, by the way, is an excellent film, and a phenomenal performance by Sweeney. If you have any particular sensitivities, best to check if those come up before watching, though.
The other reason that people are bringing this up is because of a controversial American Eagle ad and the conservative effort to make this tone deaf advertisement into something much larger.
Suffice it to say that there are people in this world who see Sweeney, not as an actress, not as a person, but as a symbol of everything that they desire. Which is dehumanizing and weird.
To them, the idea of her being pregnant (in many cases, only with a white husband) would be a cultural victory.
There are no real indications that Sweeney has any desire to be a battleground in anyone’s weird white nationalist fantasies.
Is Sydney Sweeney pregnant?
Despite the whispers and fantasies and more, there is no actual evidence that Sweeney is pregnant.
If you’ve seen photos of her having gained weight, it’s because she deliberately put on muscle and trained hard for Christy.
Maybe one day, the world will manage to be normal about Sweeney.
For now, her fans and haters both seem to have lost the plot about her.

Usher and Chilli Thomas dated from 2001 to 2004
In 2001, Usher began dating Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas, a member of legendary girl group TLC.
(If you are unfamiliar, “Don’t Go Chasing Waterfalls” is perhaps one of their most memorable and oft-referenced hits)
Though they never married, this very serious relationship would span for three years.
Did Usher cheat on Chilli?
In 2003, Usher came out with Confessions. He did not work on the album alone — which had an unintended consequence.
See, songs cover topics like infidelity, pregnant mistresses, and more.
Those weren’t Usher’s deeds, but those of collaborators — like Jermaine Dupri.
Both Usher and Chilli have seemingly confirmed that he did not cheat on her. Whatever went wrong to lead to them not working out, it wasn’t the antics from that album.
He dated some famous models
Also in 2004, reports said that Usher dated Naomi Campbell, one of the most famous supermodels on the planet.
(Rumor has it that she once jumped out of a pop out cake as a birthday surprise)
In 2005, reports said that Usher and Eisha Brightwell, another model, were in some sort of entanglement.
He attended awards shows with both models, though not simultaneously.
Usher and Tameka Foster marry in 2007
In late 2005, Usher began dating Tameka Foster. She had already been working as his personal stylist for several years.
In 2007, the couple announced their engagement.
They had plans for a July wedding in the Hamptons, but then abruptly canceled — only to wed in August of that year.
The August nuptials were a simple civil ceremony. Then, on September 1, they had a larger ceremony to celebrate their union.
Usher and Tameka welcomed two sons but then divorced
In November 2007, Usher and Tameka welcomed Usher “Cinco” Raymond V. In December 2008, they welcomed Naviyd Ely Raymond.
The following year, in June of 2009, Usher filed for divorce.
Getting divorced, Usher and Tameka found, was much simpler than deciding custody of their young sons.
The court finalized the divorce in November 2009. The child custody dispute was ongoing for three years, only ending in August 2012.
Usher married Grace Miguel in 2015
In September of 2015, Usher and Grace Miguel married. She was his long-time girlfriend and also his manager.
They had a wedding in Cuba. The world only began to suspect the union when they spotted a wedding band on Usher’s finger.
Usher himself only confirmed that they had married during a The Ellen DeGeneres Show interview.
Usher and Grace divorced in 2018
This marriage, too, did not last. Usher and Grace announced their separation in March of 2018.
It was, it seemed, an amicable split.
At least, neither of them put out any press releases to the contrary. No three-year court battle this time.
During the final days of 2018, Usher filed to divorce Grace.
He married Jenn Goicoechea in 2024
In September of 2020, Usher and music executive Jenn Goicoechea welcomed their first — and his third — child.
One year later, which doctors do not generally advise, they welcomed their second child in September 2021.
As we reported last year, Usher and Jenn married in Vegas in February 2024. February 11, to be specific — in the immediate aftermath of Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime show.
That was a big day for Usher, clearly. As of this writing, Usher and Jenn have not divorced.
