Ghislaine Maxwell isn’t getting a get-out-of-jail-free card from SCOTUS.

The disgraced associate and partner of Jeffrey Epstein is serving a prison sentence for her unspeakable crimes.

Maxwell’s parole eligibility will not begin until 2037.

Her hope is to get out of prison early. But, if she does, it won’t be the Supreme Court that helps her.

SCOTUS isn’t interested in Ghislaine Maxwell’s appeal

On Monday, October 6, the Supreme Court declined to hear the appeal of Ghislaine Maxwell.

The infamous former socialite is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.

Her heinous crimes involved the sexual abuse of underage girls by Jeffrey Epstein.

Unlike a SCOTUS ruling on a matter of law, we do not know which of the nine justices were open to hearing Maxwell’s argument.

We only know that, as a once-august judicial body, they declined to hear her case. She will not get to present her appeal.

In 2022, a Manhattan federal court convicted Maxwell.

This was only three years after Epstein’s death in prison.

Officially, he died by suicide.

Maxwell’s appeal to the Supreme Court was not on the merits of the case — such as evidence — but of legal technicalities.

At this stage, she simply cannot argue her innocence. She can, however, make a case that her conviction cannot stand on other grounds.

Her assertion is that Epstein’s plea should have protected her from prosecution

We know that Ghislaine Maxwell’s attorneys have presented the argument that federal authorities should never have prosecuted her.

See, Epstein had obtained an outrageous non-prosecutiona greement from the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.

The agreement included a provision that the US government would not prosecute “any potential co-conspirators” of the notorious sex offender.

That was an extremely broad agreement from simply one district in Florida.

According to Maxwell’s attorneys, that agreement should enjoin the potential prosecution of Prince Andrew, of former president Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and many others. And, of course, of Maxwell herself.

Maxwell is not the only one who feels disappointed by SCOTUS’ decision.

See, some had hoped that her case going before the Supreme Court could mean further exposure of evidence in the Epstein scandal.

At present, Republicans in Congress — despite some defectors — are scrambling to keep Epstein documentation under wraps.

Mike Johnson is even stalling in swearing in a new representative because she could be a tie-breaking vote. Most of the GOP is rallying to protect Trump at all costs.

However, we have to note that a legal argument before SCOTUS is unlikely to expose much new information on Epstein. This is simply not that kind of court case.

Trump is now her only hope

This summer, Donald Trump sent his former personal attorney — who, of course, now works for the DOJ because the corruption is beyond parody — to meet with Ghislaine Maxwell.

In the aftermath, Maxwell went from her restrictive prison in Florida to a minimum-security camp in Texas.

Maxwell’s work release authorization also turned heads. These are simply unheard of privileges for someone with crimes as atrocious as hers.

At this point, her sole hope of leaving prison seems to be securing a commutation or pardon from Donald Trump.

At present, there is no reason to believe that he won’t. He has refused to rule it out. And, many speculate, he may be hoping to buy her silence in this manner.

According to the latest update from his daughter, author and psychologist Jordan Peterson is dealing with some very serious health issues.

In an emotional YouTube post, Mikhaila Fuller revealed that her father spent much of the summer hospitalized with pneumonia and a host of neurological ailments, and he remains bedridden.

Mikhaila told her followers that there’s still a lot that doctors don’t know about Jordan’s condition, but she added that “decades of mold exposure” seems to be a chief cause of his illness.

She explained to her followers that the situation is extremely serious, and her father has been “near death” more than once in recent months.

“This summer has been exceedingly difficult,” Mikhaila Fuller said through tears in her latest video.

She went on to reveal that her father is suffering from a “host of neurological issues this summer that we believe stem from…chronic inflammatory response syndrome, due to decades of mold exposure.”

She added that Jordan’s “neurological symptoms” worsened after he cleaned out his late father’s basement earlier this year.

“We don’t have a better explanation for his neurological symptoms at the moment other than spiritual attacks,” she said.

“He’s been suffering for the last number of years with unexplainable neuropathy and weakness, amongst other symptoms,” she said.

Mikhaila went on to explain that her father has seen some improvement in recent weeks, but there are still no estimates with regard to when he might be able to leave the hospital.

“After almost a month in the ICU, he’s been moved out to a less urgent floor. Praise God for that. We’re still in the midst of this but now we’re seeing improvements daily,” she said.

“The timeline for his full recovery is hard to tell at the moment.”

She further explained that Peterson’s treatment is complicated because “he can’t take most medications without suffering from severe paradoxical reactions, which limits treatment options.”

Mikhaila added that her family’s situation became even more harrowing when her infant daughter was hospitalized.

“In August, the day Dad was brought to a hospital by ambulance, my newborn Audrey was also brought to a hospital by ambulance within hours of each other,” she said.

“Every single day this summer and now fall has been like watching a movie,” she said, pausing through tears.

Thankfully, Audrey’s situation has since stabilized.

Commenters point to Peterson family’s bizarre diet as possible cause of health issues

On social media, commenters were quick to call out Mikhaila’s bizarre “spiritual attacks” explanation, with many pointing out that several years ago, she placed her father on a medically unsafe diet of nothing but beef and water.

“This is exactly why Jordan Peterson is sick — listening to his wacko daughter who thinks it’s demons making her family sick and not the meat diet she swore would cure her of all her genetic illnesses,” one user wrote on X.

“You’d be surprised how many people bought into her foolishness.”

In her own X post, Mikhaila noted that her father “won’t be back for another few months, at least.”

As she promotes her upcoming memoir, Holy Disruptor, the infamous Duggar cousin is also talking up a storm.

Speaking to People, Amy Duggar King is delving into the topic of her grandfather and the dark family secret surrounding him.

Growing up, she loved Jimmy Lee — but no one allowed her to spend any alone time with him. Not ever.

“I wondered all the time,” Amy recalled of this special rule. “I asked.”

She described: “I asked my mom, I asked my grandma, and they obviously were going to protect the answer.”

“They didn’t want me to know that information growing up,” Amy explained.

When her grandfather died in 2009, she says, her mother told her that her grandfather was — in Amy’s words — a “predator.”

That finally explained everything. Though she had “obviously assumed” that something along those lines would explain this unusual family rule.

“I always had assumptions as to why, but it was never spoken about,” Amy described.

“It was a little difficult,” she admitted. “But I’m one of those people that when I was little, I asked questions, sure. But if something was told to me, I just believed it.”

She learned so many things that she and her grandfather could not do together

“I was very naive, and I’m a kid, so I was like, ‘Okay,’” Amy Duggar recalled of not questioning this household rule.

“I knew grandpa couldn’t go to the trampoline with me,” she acknowledged. She added: ‘I knew grandpa couldn’t sit and watch a movie with me.”

Amy continued listing: “I knew grandpa couldn’t be in a car with me. I knew grandpa couldn’t take me to school.”

She summarized: “There were so many things, and I just knew that that’s how it was.” 

Amy’s late grandmother, Mary Duggar, would make certain that her door was locked. Deanna would also check on her. That second one is usually normal, but was clearly an added layer of precaution.

“It was like this protective tent over me, if you will, that was not going to let a bug in,” Amy characterized.

When it came time for Deanna to tell her what sort of man her grandfather really was, it was a difficult moment. But she and her mom bonded over it.

“My mom and I sat there and cried, and I just held her, and she held me,” Amy described.

She characterized: “It was like this insane bonding moment that we’ve been needing for our entire life.”

Amy continued: “that we finally were allowed to just be really vulnerable with each other and share. And thank God.” 

‘It was so close to me’

Amy Duggar has many positive memories of her late grandfather. She loved him and his sense of humor.

But, obviously, had her mother and grandmother been less vigilant, she “could have been a victim, too.” 

Amy remarked: “It’s crazy to think it was so close to me in so many ways.”

Many may find it shocking that her family allowed Amy to know this man at all. But, generations ago, it was not that uncommon for one relative to attend every family gathering — but with parents setting rules for their children around them.

This is very much the world that much of the Duggar family — not just the cult to which Jim Bob adheres — belongs. It is not a safe world for children. We are glad that Amy was lucky enough to avoid that particular horror.

Did Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have a falling out over a movie?

Fans were shocked last week by news of the Kidman-Urban split, and many are still seeking answers.

After all, these two appeared to be one of the most stable couples in Hollywood, and their decision to call it quits after 19 years and two kids together seemed to come entirely out of left field.

Kidman filed for divorce shortly after news of her separation went public, a move that led many to conclude that this was not an amicable parting of ways.

And according to one insider, the trouble began with Nicole’s acclaimed performance in the 2024 film Babygirl.

Now, Nicole had already been an actress for a couple of decades when she and Keith started dating.

And she’d already appeared in quite a few racy films, like 1999’s Eyes Wide Shut (in which she starred alongside then-husband Tom Cruise).

So the idea that he would be horrified by the thought of his wife shooting a sex scene might sound ridiculous.

But this is not the first time that we’ve heard rumors about Keith’s discomfort with Nicole’s onscreen sensuality.

Keith’s history of jealousy revealed?

Back in July, for example, Urban seemed to abruptly end a call-in interview with an Australian radio show when the host asked how he felt about Nicole sharing the screen with “beautiful younger men.”

“What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV and radio?” host Max Burford asked.

”I think his team hung up on us because they didn’t want us to ask that question,” the producer added. “He’s gone, see you Keith.”

Of course, most reports concur that Nicole and Keith separated in June, so that might’ve been a sensitive subject for multiple reasons.

These days, rumor has it that Keith is dating Maggie Baugh, his 25-year-old guitarist.

Yes, after allegedly breaking up with Nicole for her fictional romance with a much-younger co-worker, Keith embarked on an actual romance with a much-younger co-worker.

If these reports are true, you almost have to applaud the pettiness. Almost.
