Derek Dixon has given a full interview about Tyler Perry and his allegations against his former boss.

Late this spring, we reported on the $260 million lawsuit against the mega-producer.

Dixon accuses Perry of sexual misconduct in the form of repeated unwanted advances as well as sexual assault and retaliation.

Now, the actor is opening up about how he says that the first incident happened.

If you are not aware, Tyler Perry has a television empire consisting of many shows that remain relatively unknown — especially compared to his theatrical releases.

One of those is The Oval, a political soap opera that has been running on BET since 2019.

For seasons 2-6, Derek Dixon portrayed the character, Dale.

Though he is not a main character, Dale has close ties to multiple series leads.

Dixon is no longer part of The Oval. On June 17, 2025, he filed a lawsuit accusing Perry of sexual assault and battery. He also accuses Perry of retaliation.

He alleges that Perry perpetrated a series of unwanted advances upon him since 2021, alleging that the billionaire used his power and fame to do what he wanted with impunity.

Notably, Dixon also filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Commission in 2024.

When that did not result in any changes, he says, he quit The Oval.

Now, Derek Dixon has given an interview with ABC News’ Linsey Davis to discuss the Tyler Perry allegations.

“I got into bed and then I noticed that he climbed into bed with me as well,” he says during the interview.

Dixon continues: “And started rubbing my leg. I jumped up out of bed.”

“Unless someone has been through something where they have their control over their bodies taken away you,” Dixon explains.

He emphasizes that people “don’t really understand the kind of feelings that you get in that moment.”

That is a very common statement from survivors.

Social media responses have been unsurprising

Ahead of the full interview, social media comments were … one-sided.

We do not simply mean that many were siding with Tyler Perry and accusing Dixon of lying.

A flurry of comments seemed to think that Dixon had no business being in a bed in which Perry might allegedly join him without his consent.

Perry’s team has alleged that the lawsuit is a “scam.”

It is unclear if social media denizens will change their minds once they hear Dixon’s full interview.

In April of last year, Keeta Vaccaro filed for divorce from Tyreek Hill following an alleged altercation in the couple’s home.

The couple had been married just 17 months, and Vaccaro claimed that she had been physically abused by Hill on multiple occasions.

Now, new court documents have shed light on the nature of those allegations.

The first alleged instance of abuse occurred in January of 2024, just two months after Hill and Vaccaro’s wedding.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Vaccaro claims that Hill “shoved her to the floor, stood over her, and then ripped off her necklace, causing a cut and a bruise.”

She says a second incident occurred shortly thereafter at an Orlando hotel.

Vaccaro alleges that Hill became violent with her a total of eight times during their year-and-a-half marriage.

She says that Hill “shoved a marijuana cigarette” in her face ust before the 2025 Pro Bowl.

He claims he then told her to pack up and leave before throwing her and her suitcase “out the door, locking it behind her.”

Vaccaro describes Hill’s behavior toward her as “outrageous, beyond all bounds of decency, and is regarded as atrocious and utterly intolerable in a civilized community.”

Lawyers for Tyreek Hill fire back against ex’s allegations

Julius B. Collins, can attorney for Hill, issued a statement in which he claimed that the allegations “are nothing more than an attempt by Ms. Vaccaro, her mother and/or her counsel to shake Mr. Hill down.”

“These new allegations are further proof that Ms. Vaccaro and/or her counsel are set on partaking in a smear campaign in hopes that Mr. Hill will settle and give she and her counsel an unreasonable and unwarranted amount of money,” said Collins.

“Mr. Hill will not be moved by this and awaits his day in Court to present his evidence.”

Hill has faced allegations of violence throughout his career, beginning in 2014, when he was dismissed by Oklahoma State after being arrested for punching and choking his pregnant girlfriend.

Last year, Hill was sued by a social media influencer named Sophia Hall, who alleged that he broke her leg.

Back in March, we reported that Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise appeared to be dating.

In the months that followed, the A-listers seemed to confirm that those rumors were true.

To be clear, they still haven’t made an official announcement, but Tom and Ana have been spotted holding hands on vacation often enough that we feel comfortable declaring them a couple.

And some observers think these two are speeding past the usual relationship milestones at breakneck speed.

Ana de Armas pregnancy rumors have been spreading like wildfire

Following reports that Tom is interested in having a baby with Ana, social media sleuths have been searching for any indication that the Ballerina star is expecting.

There’s been no sign of a bump, but Ana did recently reveal that she’d love to have a kid soon and one outlet went so far as to describe her remarks as “baby plans“:

“Yes, I would like to have children and a family, soon if possible,” she told the Italian publication F Magazine (via the Daily Mail).

“But it doesn’t just depend on me. As we know, love is unpredictable; you never know when true love will come. Relationships can’t be controlled: life is not a movie,” she added.

We still don’t know if Tom and Ana are really dating

As fans speculate about marriage and children, it’s important to bear in mind that neither Tom nor Ana has spoken publicly commented on the relationship rumors.

And there are some who believe that Ana is in a secret relationship with Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel (although the evidence for that alleged romance is minimal).

Reps for Tom and Ana tell People that the stars are merely “discussing potential collaborations down the line.”

At one point, an insider told the outlet that de Armas and Cruise “appeared to have no romantic connection, just friends.”

Earlier this year, Tom gushed about Ana during an interview with Extra, but he restricted his compliments to her professional abilities.

“[Ana is a] very, very talented, great dramatic actress, comedic, tremendous ability, learns quickly,” he said.

Of course, co-workers don’t usually stroll hand-in-hand during quaint getaways to Vermont, as Tom and Ana were spotted doing over the summer.

And let’s not forget the fact that Tom’s exes have already given Ana their seal of approval.

So yeah, these two are almost certainly dating. But are they planning to start a family together?

Kristin Cavallari is taking a break.

From, well everything.

On the September 9 edition of of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast, the former reality star explained to listeners that they may not be seeing her or hearing from her very much in the near future.

“I’ve been in a sort of weird, interesting energy. I feel like this is a turning point for me in my life,” the 38-year old said. “I’m living in this very excited energy. I’m feeling a little rebellious.”

Meaning what, exactly?

The Uncommon James founder revealed that part of that rebellion has been getting rid of TikTok, changing her phone number and deciding to press pause on her podcast.

Not forever, Cavallari insists. But she has no plans to return to any of these platforms, either.

“I deleted TikTok. I deleted it off of my phone,” Cavallari said. “I’m in this mode right now of realizing that I get to control what comes into our lives. Who has access to us. Who gets to give an opinion.”

The Laguna Beach didn’t delve into specifics.

She has received backlash for expressing some views of late, however, and emphasized on Tuesday that she has “just decided protecting my peace is the most important thing for me.”

Hard to blame anyone for that, isn’t it?

Amid her self-reflection, Cavallari said she realized she was “in this weird funk” following the end of her latest reality series: Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour.

“I’ve just felt really accessible,” Cavallari admitted.

She said that having “so many people’s opinions” thrust upon her while filming, touring and doing “the press circus” made her really want to retreat from the public eye on social media and beyond.

The mother of three said TikTok’s algorithm these days is feeding her footage of herself, which might seem funny to an outside, but which she says has been driving her “crazy.”

She can’t really help but to look at the comments on occasion, too.

While hoping to find her peace in the next few months, Cavallari said she will be “on hiatus for a little bit” with her podcast as well.

For now, she wants to learn Italian and play board games with her children and just… relax.

“I hope you guys know that your support with everything I do, especially this podcast, is so incredible. It really means the world to me,” Cavallari concluded. “I just feel very lucky that I am able to have a podcast and speak directly to you guys.”

Glen Powell would like a moment of your time.

In a new interview with GQ, the extremely handsome actor spoke out in public for the first time about his split from Gigi Paris … which took place about two years ago under questionable circumstances.

Questionable circumstances, according to some, that is.

“I will always have nothing but love for her and respect for her,” Powell told this publication of his ex, taking the high road and adding:

“Everybody’s always going to have their own narrative on things and all that. And she’s welcome to it.”

Back when Powell was dating Paris, there was rampant speculation that he was getting it on with Anyone But You co-star Sydney Sweeney.

The two certainly came across as quite comfortable with each other throughout their press tour, with many observers believing they were a couple — or believing they were pretending to be in order to promote this film.

Count Paris among those who certainly thought something was going on between her then-boyfriend and Sweeney.

“It was just, this is what I have to do for my job. I had two options. I could either pretend like I was going along with everything and have everyone wonder, like, ‘Are they hooking up? Are they not hooking up? Is she OK with this? What the f***?’” Paris said during a June episode of the “Too Much” podcast of how she handled rumors about Powell and Sweeney.

It sounds as if, even if the actors were NOT hooking up, it was too awkward for Paris to deal with back then.

Hence why she and Powell went their separate ways in April 2023.

Paris explained her thought process at the time, adding:

“Or stand up for myself and say, ‘No, I’m actually not OK with this, and I’m walking away.’ So that’s what I decided to do.”

Powell and Paris dated for three years, parting ways before he wrapped filming Anyone But You in Australia.

At the time, Paris shared a cryptic social media message hinting at her and Powell’s breakup, writing via Instagram: “Know your worth & onto the next.”

She later said she was upset over a lack of “respect” from Powell because he never denounced the romantic chatter over himself and Sweeney.

“Relationships are really hard,” Powell just said to GQ. “And when two people break up, they each go to their own brunch, and they will each tell their own narrative.”
