6ix9ine landed back in legal hot water and social media chaos after a federal judge in Manhattan ordered him to house arrest for violating probation tied to an assault case in Florida.

According to court filings. 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was sentenced to home confinement on Friday (September 26), after admitting guilt in an attack on a man who allegedly called him a “snitch” inside a Florida shopping mall. The court also ordered Hernandez to wear an electronic ankle monitor until his sentencing on November 4.

The ruling stems from a string of probation violations, including past charges involving firearms and narcotics. His legal history remains tangled with the infamous Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods racketeering case, where he testified against several members in exchange for a reduced sentence. The terms of his house arrest allow limited movement for religious services, legal appointments, substance abuse programs, and medical or mental health treatment.

While his legal troubles mount, 6ix9ine has reignited beefs across the rap landscape. In a recent phone call with Akademiks, he took aim at 21 Savage, mocking the rapper’s immigration status. “I’ll really spit on that na,” 6ix9ine said. “I’m a U.S. citizen, that’s what separates us… That na 21 Savage ain’t from here, n***a.” Despite the jab, 21 Savage is a lawful U.S. resident and was born in the United Kingdom.

Elsewhere, 6ix9ine stirred more controversy in an interview on One Night With Steiny, where he accused Offset of betraying his former Migos bandmates. “All these rappers is rats,” he said. “I’m not saying these [are] facts, but this is the rumor. Quavo’s girl was Saweetie, right? They said Offset slept with Saweetie, that’s why the Migos fell out. The game is full of rats. If you sleep with your homie girl, that’s rat material. Young Thug added that his intentions were not political but rather a commentary on the industry’s long-standing racial dynamics.

Elon Musk and Prince Andrew were both named in newly released records tied to Jeffrey Epstein, as Congressional Democrats unveiled a fresh batch of documents from the late financier’s estate that includes travel logs, message notes and meeting schedules.

A December 2014 entry in Epstein’s files reads: “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)” — suggesting the billionaire may have been invited to Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Musk has previously denied visiting and told Vanity Fair that while Epstein invited him, he “did not go.”

Elsewhere in the trove, a flight manifest dated May 12, 2000, lists Prince Andrew as a passenger on a jet traveling from Teterboro, New Jersey, to West Palm Beach, Florida, alongside Epstein and his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell was convicted in 2021 for helping Epstein traffic underage girls.

The documents, the third set provided by Epstein’s estate to the House Oversight Committee, include phone message logs, financial ledgers and daily itineraries. According to Democrats on the committee, the files are part of an effort to uncover more about Epstein’s network and activities.

One redacted ledger references payments for massages for someone listed only as “Andrew” in February and May 2000. While Buckingham Palace confirmed Prince Andrew was in the U.S. during that time — including a May 11 reception in New York for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children — it’s unclear whether the entry refers to him.

Prince Andrew has “strenuously denied” any wrongdoing and has not responded to this new release. He previously settled a civil lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexual abuse when she was a minor. He did not admit liability as part of the settlement.

The documents also show Epstein had scheduled meetings with other high-profile names. A November 2017 entry mentions a planned lunch with tech investor Peter Thiel, while another notes a February 2019 breakfast with former Trump adviser Steve Bannon. There’s also a reference to a potential breakfast party with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates in December 2014. Gates previously told the BBC that meeting Epstein was a “mistake.”

Democrats on the committee say the documents are part of a broader push to uncover Epstein’s ties to influential figures. “It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world,” said Sara Guerrero, a spokesperson for the committee. “Every new document produced provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims.”

Republicans on the panel accused Democrats of politicizing the process and promised to release the full set of documents soon.

Snoop Dogg brought Hip-Hop to the heart of Australia’s biggest sporting event Saturday night, performing a censored medley of his classic tracks at the AFL Grand Final in Melbourne despite weeks of scrutiny over his inclusion and a reported $2 million paycheck.

The 53-year-old rapper delivered a high-energy set at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, where more than 100,000 attendees witnessed him run through staples like “The Next Episode,” “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”

“It’s grand final time baby, greatness is on the line,” Snoop told the crowd in a pre-recorded video message before taking the stage in an all-white bandleader outfit, backed by marching musicians and fireworks.

DMC is turning two decades of sobriety and a lifetime of personal pain into a powerful stage production aimed at dismantling stigma around addiction and mental health.

The Run-DMC trailblazer is lending his voice and story to “Rock Bottom: The Musical,” a project still in development that fuses music, recovery and raw truth.

“Rock Bottom is a musical about recovery, addiction and sobriety,” DMC said during a recent interview with WBZ NewsRadio 1030. “I was approached to participate by Simon Kirk, one of the most incredible drummers and musicians in the history of music from Free and Bad Company.”

The production features a cast of creatives who’ve walked similar paths, including Aerosmith’s Tom Hamilton, comedian Tony V and musician Woody G. But for DMC, the mission is bigger than the music.

“We’re doing this musical to destroy and eradicate the stigma associated with addiction,” he said.

Now 60, DMC has been transparent about his past battles with alcohol, depression and suicidal ideation—struggles that haunted him even as Run-DMC helped define the sound and style of 1980s Hip-Hop.

“I’m DMC from the Hip-Hop group Run-DMC, who walked this way with Adidas to tell the world how tricky life could be. But I’m also an alcoholic, suicidal, metaphysical, spiritual wreck even though I was DMC,” he said.

His breaking point came at age 35 when he learned he had been adopted. The discovery sent him deeper into depression until a conversation with another adoptee helped shift his perspective.

“It wasn’t until I met another adoptee who made me realize, oh, I’m not the only adopted person in this world. I knew I wasn’t alone,” he said. “Then I started thinking I might not be the only depressed person in this world.”

That realization led him to rehab, where he embraced therapy—a move he now calls “the most gangster thing” in Hip-Hop.

“If you removed guilt and shame from the situation, you remove the pain of going through it,” he said. “Don’t be ashamed of being on meth. Don’t be ashamed of being abused, ashamed of being an alcoholic. We all been there. There’s a million people like you. You are not alone.”

DMC has long used his platform to advocate for mental health awareness.

His 2016 memoir, Ten Ways Not to Commit Suicide, detailed his darkest moments and emphasized the importance of seeking help.

“No matter what it is that you’re going through, do not be ashamed to ask for help,” he said. “You’re not weak, you’re not psycho. It’s no different from having a backache and gotta go to the chiropractor. It’s no different from having a toothache and gotta go to the dentist.”

He also reflected on the cultural impact of Run-DMC’s landmark collaboration with Aerosmith on “Walk This Way,” which helped bridge the gap between rock and Hip-Hop.

“When Steven Tyler took that mike stand and knocked down the wall that was separating us in the video, people all over the world saw that didn’t just happen in the video. It happened in the world for real,” he said.

DMC continues to collaborate with rock artists. A new track featuring Sebastian Bach, Travis Barker, Mick Mars and Duff McKagan is set to drop in January.

“Rock Bottom: The Musical” is still in the works, with fundraising efforts underway. For DMC, the show is more than a creative outlet—it’s a lifeline for others.

“Your story of struggle, just by talking about it, will save people’s lives,” he said. “You gotta go take care of yourself so you can take care of your world.”

El Moreno Mexicano was arrested in downtown Indianapolis after allegedly driving drunk and crashing into another vehicle, killing a 31-year-old man early Saturday morning.

Brayan Camacho Calleja, 26, known in the Hip-Hop world as El Moreno Mexicano, now faces multiple charges tied to the fatal collision.

Authorities say he was behind the wheel of a red Dodge Charger when it slammed into a black GMC Yukon around 3 a.m. on September 20.

The impact threw Aaron Deandre Radford from the Yukon. He was rushed to Methodist Hospital, where he later died. Police officers stationed in a nearby parking lot witnessed the crash unfold. They saw the Charger veer off the road, jump a sidewalk and strike an apartment building at 530 East Ohio Street.

According to court documents, El Moreno Mexicano and a woman exited the car and attempted to walk away before officers stopped them.

When officers approached the rapper, they noted he had “bloodshot and glossy eyes” and a strong odor of alcohol. He had no valid Indiana driver’s license and presented only a Mexican Consulate Card as identification.

El Moreno Mexicano initially refused to take a blood alcohol test. Police obtained a warrant and administered the test by force. The results are still pending.

He is being held as he awaits formal charges from the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. For now, he faces preliminary counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death, OWI endangering a person, OWI with a BAC above .08, and driving without a license.

The arrest comes just days after the rapper released a new single and music video titled “I Am Mexican-El Moreno Mexicano,” which has already racked up more than 136,000 views on YouTube.

Known for tracks like “A Lo Mexicano,” “Vato Loco” and “Soy El Diablo,” El Moreno Mexicano has built a strong following in the Mexican Hip-Hop scene.

He boasts over one million TikTok followers and averages 74,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Born in Mexico, he moved to Indiana at 16 and began his music career there. His first YouTube upload came in 2018, but his popularity surged in 2020 thanks to consistent releases across SoundCloud, YouTube and other platforms.

His younger brother, DrexTheJoint spoke out after the arrest. “My brother really came from nothing,” he said. “Ever since he started, we already knew that he had talent.”

On Instagram, DrexTheJoint expressed heartbreak over the incident, writing that his brother had been working hard to build a future, only to lose it all “within a snap.”

“It’s a tragedy for both families,” he added. El Moreno Mexicano remains in custody as prosecutors review the case.
