Ella Langley has added two new meaningful tattoos to her growing collection of permanent artwork. The ink came just hours before Langley took the stage for her sold-out show at Austin’s Moody Center on Thursday, August 13, making the already-memorable night even more special.
According to a behind-the-scenes TikTok video, Langley invited out Utah-based fine-line tattoo artist Hannah Matthews of And You Tattoo to create two designs that hold a deeply personal connection to her life. The artist documented the entire trip in a series of videos, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at her travel day, the tattoo session, Langley’s concert and some time spent exploring Austin before making the journey back home.

On day two, she shared snippets of her set up backstage and the moment she got to give Langley her newest tattoos. The larger of the two ink pieces was placed on the country star’s forearm and included a bird perched on a branch. The design serves as a tribute to her late grandmother as it was inspired by a cherished photo she had. Matthews explains that they noticed Langley had some extra space on her wrist so they decided to add a second tattoo of her dog’s name.
Langley was clearly happy with the finished products because she commented on Matthews’ post writing, “Can you come back already?”
The tattoo artist stuck around to watch the show, giving her the chance to see Langley debut her newest ink onstage. The two permanent additions now join the country star’s growing collection of sentimental artwork, many of which tells a story about her life, family and career.

Among her tattoos are butterflies and a dandelion inspired by her latest album, Dandelion, as well as a treble clef, several roses and a pine tree, representing Alabama’s state tree. She also has a reference to Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds,” the first song she learned to play on guitar, along with a “Heart on Fire” design inspired by Eric Church.
Her collection also includes the coordinates of her parents’ home, a bumblebee, as a tribute to her mother’s nickname for her, a cowgirl silhouette, a playing card from a trip to Las Vegas, a feather, and more.
Ella Langley will bring her new tattoos back to the stage this week with more stops on her Dandelion tour taking place across Wisconsin, Illinois and Arkansas. Next week she will return to her home state for back-to-back performances in Auburn, AL on August 28 and August 29.

In June, Justin Moore revealed he would be stepping away from touring temporarily to focus on his health. He returned to the road one month later and is now opening up about his decision to enter a 30-day rehabilitation program, providing an update on his sobriety and revealing details about a recent health scare.
Moore recently sat down with his friend and fellow country star Tracy Lawrence on TL’s Road House podcast and reflected on his journey to sobriety. The singer explained that his relationship with alcohol changed during the COVID-19 pandemic. What initially started as an occasional drink eventually became an everyday habit, which he admits then began taking a toll on his career, family life and overall well-being.

“I didn’t drink until I was 21. Don’t ask me how or why. And then almost 20 years, I never had any issue whatsoever. And then COVID hit and we were doing our podcast at the time and literally nothing else. And man, idle hands are the devil’s workshop is a real thing. And a drink at five turned into three at noon. And then before you know it, it’s all day, every day. And not even really getting smashed or just constantly having a cocktail. And it started affecting my life,” he revealed.
At first, Moore was confident that no one else had noticed the change in his drinking habits as he considered himself to be “high functioning.” However, it got to a point where he noticed just how much energy he was putting into drinking compared to the more important aspects of his life. So he finally made the decision to get help.
“I came home one Sunday as we do every Sunday, usually on the bus…And I walked straight upstairs, told my wife, I go, ‘I got to go get help. I just got to do it. I have to do it.’ And it wasn’t fun. I mean, I don’t know if you’ve ever done anything like that, but it wasn’t fun. But I just looked at it like a business trip. And so today’s my 65th day sober.”
Lawrence acknowledged that in their line of business, a lot of their days are centered around alcohol, between the number one parties, backstage events, weekend shows and more.
“It’s all fun and games when you’re young, but there comes a time as we get older when you got to step back and go, ‘This is not really good for me as a human being anymore,” he stated.
Moore says he went to a treatment facility outside of Nashville, where he went through all the positive and negative moments of his life, spanning his earliest memories all the way to the present day and the trauma, relationships and more that came in between.
“It was awful. I’m telling you, freaking awful, just the emotional rollercoaster and the purging of all that stuff. And because you get to a certain place in life where you’re dealing with some things and you’ve got these issues and you’re masking them, sometimes it’s so far buried back that you don’t even remember why you started. And you don’t even know.”
After everything he’s been through, Moore says he’s proud of himself and feels more like himself than he has in a long time. He acknowledges that getting back on stage sober has been an adjustment, but says there have been plenty of positives that have come from getting the help he needed.
“I’m singing better. I remember the shows. And again, it wasn’t constant with me. It was just that one night where you go, ‘I didn’t do my best.’ And these fans, man, they deserve our best. And I lost sight of that for a little while, and I’m not ashamed to admit it…There was a lot of the therapy stuff. But fortunately, it was only once a week. But I mean, it helped. I mean, I’m not going to lie and say it didn’t.”
Along with getting sober, Justin Moore took this time to get every aspect of his health in check. Fans may have recently noticed that the “Small Town USA” singer has had some weight gain around his neck. He explains that he has developed a benign growth that if removed could impact his singing and speaking voice, as he was told surgery would be “very, very difficult.”
“I’m sure people think, ‘Golly, he’s been eating good.’ We thought it was called a lipoma. It’s just fat. It’s benign, thank God…it doesn’t affect me. I just looked like a linebacker circa 1982, thick neck, whatever. But it’s like my wife and I were walking out of the hospital when I had an MRI or something. And they had told us, ‘Man, great news is benign. But there’s really not anything we can do about it.’ So I was kind of bummed out walking out of the hospital because at the time we didn’t know it was cancer. We didn’t know what it was. And of course, your mind takes you to the worst possible places obviously.”
Although his appearance looks a bit different now, Lawrence admits he is just thankful that the diagnosis was not more serious.
“My wife looked at me, she goes, ‘If you just have a fat neck and you’re here for the next 50 years, then shut up and stop complaining.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’ve never sold records because of my looks in the first place,” he added with a laugh.
Overall, the Arkansas native says he is “doing great” and also feels “great.”
“Situations like that really shine a light on what’s important in life. And I thought I knew that and I did, but I kind of lost sight of it. And so yeah, I’m in a really good spot right now and God willing, it’ll continue.
Justin Moore is officially back on the road, with shows scheduled all the way through November.

It’s been three days since the death of Hayden Panettiere, and new details about the actress’ final hours are still pouring in.
We now know Hayden was at an apartment complex with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, at the time of her death.
And with Panettiere’s death still under investigation, police have made a notable visit to a Hickerson family home.

According to TMZ, the visit was part of a larger investigation to determine if criminal conduct may have played a role in Hayden’s passing.
Two Greenville Police Department vehicles reportedly arrived at the South Carolina residence of Hickerson’s grandmother, Betty Ellison, at approximately 8:20 a.m.
Witnesses say an officer knocked repeatedly on the front door while another attempted to access the home from the side. The officers left after roughly three minutes.
TMZ later reported that police returned about 90 minutes later to “conduct a welfare check.” A Greenville Police Department representative confirmed the visit but did not specify who the officers were checking on.
Hickerson’s brother, Zach, 38, was reportedly inside the home during the initial visit. Brian, 37, and Zach had both been seen at the property the previous day.
The residence is approximately five miles from the Greenville Airbnb where Panettiere was found unresponsive on Sunday, August 16.
The 36-year-old actress was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m. after emergency responders attempted to revive her. Dispatch audio reportedly referenced a possible overdose and cardiac arrest, though an official cause of death has not been released.
An autopsy found “no signs of trauma” that would have contributed to Panettiere’s death. However, the investigation remains active while authorities await toxicology results.
Brian was reportedly at the Airbnb when Panettiere died. According to a police report, he was asleep in another room when Zach discovered the actress unresponsive in a chair.
Brian also reportedly showed officers a bag containing medications Panettiere had been taking.
The circumstances surrounding Panettiere’s final days have drawn increased scrutiny because of her complicated history with Hickerson. The pair dated on and off for years, and Hickerson was convicted of felony charges related to domestic violence against the actress in 2021.
Panettiere’s mother, Lesley Vogel, has also publicly criticized Hickerson’s role in her daughter’s life following the actress’ death.
For now, authorities have not publicly accused Hickerson or anyone else of wrongdoing in connection with Panettiere’s death.
But with the investigation ongoing and toxicology results still pending, there are clearly plenty of unanswered questions surrounding the tragedy.
We will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.

Jill Duggar is preparing to rehome the family dog.
Over a year after Derick Dillard left his job, he has completed his training to become a military lawyer.
In 2021, the Dillards adopted their beloved canine companion.
Now, they’ll have to find a new home for her before they move as part of their new lives as a military family.

After 5 years, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are aiming to rehome Fenna.
They did not publicly announce this news, such as by posting it on their family website or on one of the Dillard family social media pages.
Instead, Derick posted to a Facebook group titled “Northwest Arkansas Dog Talk.”
The actual title, and not the AI-generated slop that Meta added to it, was: “Rehoming family dog due to upcoming military move!!”
Within the post, he shared details about Fenna, the family dog of five years.

“Name: Fenna,” he wrote. “Breed: German Shepherd mix ([paperwork] when we adopted her in Rogers, AR in Jan. 2021 said she was Belgian Malinois, but we did the DNA Embark test and it showed mostly German Shepherd.)”
Derick continued: “Other: She is fixed, chipped and overall healthy dog.”
He assessed: “She loves our active kids (ages 11-4), loves being outside, but also ok in kennel.”
Derick detailed: “We went through 1st level of Petco classes after adopting her, so she knows basic commands (e.g. sit, stay, place, here, & likes when the kids make her jump through the hoola hoop for treats etc.).”
He then implored members of the Facebook group: “Help us find her a loving home! DM us if interested!”
Naturally, Derick Dillard is just enough of a public figure that this immediately broke containment — while not being famous enough to have someone who looks into things for him (or just, you know, having enough money to not need this job or to move).
On social media, people exchanged strong opinions about this move.
Many cannot imagine taking a member of the family of 5 years and just sending them to another household due to a move.
However, others pointed out that this isn’t about uprooting the family to Rhode Island. It’s about the military lifestyle.
Temporary military housing is often not a place for a pet — especially for a larger dog. And, according to Derick, it could be up to eight months until the Dillards are even allowed to have a dog.

Many people across social media are sharing their experiences.
Numerous commenters — even those who do not regard Derick or any others in the extended Duggar clan with a charitable eye — noted that a new home might be what’s best for Fenna.
Dogs — especially young, active dogs — need space to run around, they need loving families who can shower them with affection and help them to keep their routines.
A number of folks discussed memories of losing their own pets, including during moves, as children. This can sometimes be a traumatic experience with effects on how one views pets and personal loss. The emotional impact can outlive almost any pet (except, like, a tortoise or certain parrots).
And others remarked on how this will be a major adjustment for Jill Duggar. She’s a military wife. That’s just going to be different, especially for someone who grew up in a cult and is still playing catch-up with the real world.
