Priscilla Block Steps Into Her Own During Full-Circle Ryman Headline Show

Priscilla Block lived out a lifelong dream on Wednesday night when she headlined Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium, delivering a 90-minute show filled with fan-favorite hits and a few unforgettable surprises.

Taking the stage at approximately 9:30 p.m., Block opened the set with just her and her guitar, much like the early days of her career when she played to small crowds on stages lining Broadway and traveled from show to show in an old church van. This time, however, the Mother Church of Country Music was packed out just for her, making the moment feel especially full-circle.

After the first verse of “Things You Didn’t See,” the tour’s namesake and title track of her latest album, Block was joined by her band to finish the song. They quickly launched into “Try” and “Bring Me Downtown,” with Block stepping into her full stage presence. Between choreography and a fan blowing through her hair, she gave off full-on diva energy throughout the performance.

Fans got to see her confident and sassy side with “Goodwill To Gucci” and “Yard Sale,” along with a snippet of the body-positive anthem “Thick Thighs.” She also showed her softer side with the emotional “Couldn’t Care Less” and the heartfelt “Elijah,” which captured pieces of her love story.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Nashville show without a few surprises, and Block delivered. Chase Matthew joined her for “Stranger Things,” Shenandoah took the stage for “Two Dozen Roses,” Sara Evans made a surprise appearance for “Suds In The Bucket,” and finally, country icon Tracy Lawrence stepped out for a performance of “Find Out Who Your Friends Are.”

Sharing the stage with some of her musical heroes clearly left Block feeling a bit starstruck in the moment. Several times throughout the night, she admitted to the crowd, “This is the coolest night of my life.”

Packing out the historic venue was not lost on Block, who appeared to hold back tears at several points during the show. Having worked her way up from small venues to bigger stages and experienced the grind of building a career in music, it was clear just how much the moment meant to her.

Fans stole the show during “Just About Over You,” surprising the North Carolina singer with signs that read, “We will never get over you,” a touching display of love and support.

Block closed out the show with a massive sing-along to her song “Good On You,” repeatedly thanking fans for their unwavering support.

The Things You Didn’t See Tour came to a close at the Ryman, and there was no better way to end this chapter of Priscilla Block’s career. Ending on a high note, the tour captured the magic that is Priscilla Block, not only her unfiltered, confident personality, but also her emotional and heartfelt side. She truly stepped into her own as a headliner on this run, making it clear that while this may have been one of the biggest shows of her career so far, she’s only just getting started.

Cops Were Called to Britney Spears’ House 14 Times Ahead of DUI Arrest: Report

Reading Time: 2 minutes

As we previously reported, Britney Spears was arrested on DUI charges on Wednesday night.

Britney was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital after her arrest, where her blood was drawn to determine her BAC.

Insiders say she was at .06, which is below the legal limit, but driving erratically after drinking (as Brit allegedly was) can result in DUI charges.

As new information about the incident continues to surface, we’ve learned that Britney was allgedly weaving in and out of lanes and caught the attention of a California Highway Patrol officer.

Insiders have also revealed that Spears cried during her short time in jail and appeared “highly emotional” throughout her arrest.

Now, we’re learning that family and friends are concerned, as the arrest is reportedly just the latest in a long line of troubling incidents for Britney.

In fact, according to a new report from Page Six, police have been called to Britney’s house 14 times in the past two years alone.

To be fair, the most recent call was for trespassing in progress around midnight on Oct. 23, 2025.

And several of the calls, including one on March 21, was logged as a silent alarm.

But in some cases, it seems that the caller was concerned about Britney herself, not her property.

The most recent well-being check occurred on September 2025.

Two well-being checks were logged in the month of November 2024.

The nature and outcome of these calls are unclear.

But an average of seven 911 calls in a single year is highly unusual, especially in such an affluent, secluded neighborhood.

Britney was freed from her conservatorship in 2021, and she’s experienced quite a few ups and downs in the years since.

“She was incredibly emotional,” a source told Page Six of her arrest, adding, “It’s been a very hard couple of months.”

Spears is due back in court in May, at which time, she will presumably enter a plea.

Here’s hoping that she’ll soon be able to find the kind of peace she’s been seeking since childhood.

Maddie & Tae Reveal The Real Reason Behind Their Breakup: ‘The Worst Band Breakup Of All Time’

Back in December, country duo Maddie & Tae announced they would be parting ways to focus on their own individual paths. As they wrap up a bittersweet final run of shows on the Love & Light Tour, the pair took a moment to reflect on the honest reason behind their decision.

A fan-captured video shows the pair of singer/songwriters looking out into their sea of fans in Roanoke Rapids, NC and feeling all the emotions of knowing this chapter is coming to an end. Maddie Marlow Font began by explaining that her musical partner for over a decade, Tae Dye Kerr, is choosing to put all of her focus into her life at home with her two kids, daughter Leighton (4) and son Chapel (1).

Meanwhile, Font, who is also a mom to her 2-year-old son Forrest, is going to start a new chapter and work on some solo music.

“[These are] The last shows for a while for us. T’s going to be a stay-at-home mama, but she’s ready. And then I’m making a little solo record,” she shared.

Kerr added, “We’re going to keep chasing babies and chasing dreams.”

They also reiterated that their breakup is not the result of any drama or bad blood between them. Instead, they have simply found that life is leading them at different directions.

“I say this every show. We really are just the worst band breakup of all time because there’s just no juicy drama and we still are hanging out at the park with our kids,” said Font.

Kerr joked that she wished there was “juicy drama” as it would have meant they had “a lot more exciting” things happening in their careers right now. At the end of the day, the pair best known for their breakout No. 1 hit “Girl In A Country Song” and their chart-topping single “Die From A Broken Heart,” felt this would be the best decision for both of them.

“We are truly just two best friends who have been doing this together for 15 years and people change and people evolve. I think one of my favorite things about our sisterhood was just always our friendship came first. And this is just one of those choices.”

They also previously told People that this might not be goodbye forever as they plan to leave things “open-ended.”

“We might make another record one day,” Font admitted. “We might go do some tour dates one day.”

“Absolutely,” Kerr agreed.

Even though they will continue to do life together outside of music, the singers made it clear this was not an easy conclusion to come to, and it took quite a few heartfelt conversations to get to this point.

“It’s been such a hard, hard—honestly, heartbreaking—decision,” Kerr shared. “This was the only dream I’ve ever had since I exited the womb. I had a very specific vision of creating music and singing music. When we met at 15, that’s what we set out to do, and we’re both just so grateful for the journey we’ve had. This career has been everything we ever wanted.”

Maddie & Tae first introduced themselves to the country music world in 2014 with “Girl In A Country Song,” which appeared on their 2015 debut album Start Here. The project also featured fan favorites like “Fly” and “Shut Up and Fish.” In 2020, “Die From A Broken Heart” became their second No. 1 hit.

Their most recent project, Love & Light, was released in May 2025. Just a few dates remain on their 2026 headline run, named after their latest album. It kicked off in St. Petersburg, FL on February 19 and will wrap up in Madison, WI on March 28.

2026 NFL Free Agency: Who Signs Top RBs Kenneth Walker, Tyler Allgeier, Travis Etienne?

Kenneth Walker III struck another blow for the resurgence of running backs by earning the Super Bowl MVP award after the Seattle Seahawks’ runaway win over the New England Patriots. Now, Walker will see if he can turn that success into a big payday. The Seahawks declined to use the franchise tag on the Michigan State product, allowing him to enter free agency. A second-round selection by Seattle in the 2022 draft, Walker is the headliner of a solid if not spectacular running back group set to hit free agency next week. The New York Jets opted to keep the top back from hitting the market, placing the franchise tag on Breece Hall at $14.3 million. Along with Walker, however, other backs expected to make a splash in free agency include Rico Dowdle and bruising runner Tyler Allgeier. Here, we find the best home for each of the top five free-agent rushers. 5. Rachaad White: Jacksonville Jaguars White effectively served as half of Tampa Bay’s running back tandem with Bucky Irving, averaging just over 1,000 yards from scrimmage and 50 catches a year. In four seasons with the Bucs, White scored 25 total touchdowns. A good fit for the 27-year-old back would be to reunite with his former offensive coordinator in Tampa Bay, Jacksonville head coach Liam Coen, who should understand how to maximize White’s skill set. With Travis Etienne potentially leaving in free agency, White would give Coen a productive runner familiar with his offensive scheme to pair with second-year pro Bhayshul Tuten. 4. Tyler Allgeier: Seattle Seahawks Walker has priced himself out of returning to Seattle, so former Falcon Allgeier could give the Seahawks a solid option at a reasonable price. Plus, he should fit the system of new offensive coordinator Brian Fleury, who will lean on the zone running scheme from his time with the San Francisco 49ers. Allgeier is one of the best zone running backs on the market and has a nose for the end zone, with eight rushing touchdowns last year for Atlanta. That will be important for Seattle GM John Schneider, whose best goal-line runner, Zach Charbonnet, will be returning from season-ending knee surgery. And Allgeier doesn’t turn the ball over. 3. Rico Dowdle: Washington Commanders Washington is looking to add a thumper to a running back room led by Jacory Croskey-Merritt. At 5-foot-11 and 215 pounds, Dowdle possesses the ability to run through traffic and would add a home-run hitter to the backfield. Dowdle has recorded back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, first with the Dallas Cowboys and then with the Carolina Panthers last year. Paired with third-year quarterback Jayden Daniels in the backfield, Dowdle would have another opportunity to post big numbers. Head coach Dan Quinn wants to run the football and play good defense, and Dowdle would give Washington’s running game an added boost. 2. Travis Etienne: Kansas City Chiefs Kansas City averaged just 106.6 rushing yards per game last year, No. 25 in the NFL, so the Chiefs need to upgrade their running game from the tandem of Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt. Also, quarterback Patrick Mahomes is recovering from season-ending knee surgery, which means the Chiefs will have to lean on running the football more next season. Etienne was one of the best backs in football in 2025, totaling 1,107 rushing yards and seven touchdowns with the Jaguars. He can also catch the ball out of the backfield, with 36 receptions for 292 receiving yards and seven scores. Etienne would add a dynamic, explosive dimension to Kansas City’s offense. 1. Kenneth Walker III: Denver Broncos The Broncos need an offensive boost to compete for a Super Bowl, so why not bring in a dynamic runner who just won a Lombardi Trophy? Walker would be even more dangerous playing behind Bo Nix, one of the most athletic quarterbacks in the league and always a threat to run himself. In a division with the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders and the Chiefs, adding a dynamic playmaker like Walker to one of the best defenses in the league would give the Broncos an advantage in the AFC West. I, for one, would be very interested to see how head coach Sean Payton and first-time playcaller Davis Webb use the Super Bowl MVP.Latest Sports News from FOX Sports

Alaska Supreme Court considers limits of executive and legislative power, including on abortion

By: James Brooks, Alaska Beacon

In this screenshot from Gavel Alaska, Alaska Supreme Court Justice Aimee Oravec speaks during a hearing on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. (Screenshot)

For years, politically conservative members of the Alaska Legislature have attempted to restrict state-paid abortion care via language in the annual state budget.

That maneuver and similar actions could be ruled unconstitutional by the Alaska Supreme Court, which on Wednesday heard oral arguments in a lawsuit that may determine the limits of the Alaska Constitution’s confinement clause, which requires that budget bills be limited to spending and not include policy changes.

At issue in the case is a budgetary maneuver twice adopted by the Legislature in an attempt to partially de-fund a contract for a Washington, D.C.-based law firm that Gov. Mike Dunleavy’s administration used to defend his controversial restructuring of public employee unions’ dues payments

GET MORE

If you’re interested in the technical details of this case, the Alaska Legislature’s opening brief can be found here. The state’s response can be found here, and the Legislature’s reply brief is here.

Legislators said the contract, at more than $600,000, was too expensive, and in 2020 and 2021, they carved the budget for the Alaska Department of Law into two segments in an attempt to limit the contract.

Two of the governor’s attorneys general said they believed the Legislature was actually targeting the union dues plan, and its actions thus represented an unconstitutional infringement of the executive branch’s power.

Dunleavy vetoed the contract-specific language, technically eliminating all funding for the defense, and his administration kept on spending.

The Legislature’s auditor concluded in 2023 that the Dunleavy administration likely violated state law and the Alaska Constitution by continuing to spend money that had been eliminated from the budget.

Lawmakers sued in January 2024.

By that time, the Alaska Supreme Court had ruled that the union-dues changes had been enacted illegally. Four days after the Legislature filed its lawsuit, the U.S. Supreme Court said it would not hear an appeal requested by the administration, an act that leaves the state supreme court’s ruling in place.

In 2025, over the Legislature’s objections, Anchorage District Court judge Dani Crosby ruled that lawmakers’ lawsuit was moot because the money had already been spent, and she dismissed it.

Legislators appealed to the Supreme Court, arguing that there is a public interest in having the issue resolved, because it is likely to return again.

Attorney Kevin Cuddy, representing the Legislature, noted that last year — as in past years — the Alaska Legislature authorized a budget that included a provision stating that the Alaska Department of Health may not spend Medicaid money on certain abortions.

“That idea of no funding for this, some funding for that, these conditions are a regular feature of the budgeting process,” he said in Wednesday’s oral argument, arguing that the issue is not moot.

Deputy Solicitor General Jessie Alloway represented the state in Wednesday’s hearing and said the abortion issue is an example of why the court should decline to take up the Legislature’s arguments.

“This is exactly why the court should say this is moot and not take a more abstract view … because there is an unlimited number of hypotheticals that we could come up with that would be problematic,” she said.

If the court does overrule Crosby, both sides asked the justices to give them a firm answer rather than having Crosby take up the issue again.

The justices would then have to decide whether legislators overreached by attempting to restrict the executive branch, whether the executive branch overreached by continuing to spend, and where exactly the line rests between legislative and executive power.

“That’s what we keep coming back to: Who gets to decide this, whether these contracts are necessary?” asked Justice Aimee Oravec.

One prior Supreme Court case discussed Wednesday may offer some clues. In 2001, the court ruled on a legislative lawsuit against then-Gov. Tony Knowles over a series of budget vetoes.

One of those vetoes involved a dispute over bed space bought by the state prison system in private facilities. Legislators wrote in the budget that the space had to be bought from private contractors.

The supreme court upheld that language in its ruling.

“Conditions are permissible, as this court held in the Knowles case,” said Cuddy, the Legislature’s attorney, “including saying what types of services, public versus private, or private versus public, the money can be spent upon.”

But Alloway, arguing for the state, said legislators were attempting to define purchases that had already happened. That’s different from Knowles.

“What was happening was the (attorney general) had already retained outside counsel via his statutory authority. The Legislature knew about it, and then the appropriation targeted that decision by eliminating the amount the AG could spend on the contract,” she said.

During Wednesday’s argument, chief justice Susan Carney was absent. Staff for the court said she was recovering from surgery and out on medical leave.

Justice Dario Borghesan, a former Department of Law attorney, recused himself from the case, leaving three justices, all Dunleavy appointees, for Wednesday’s hearing.  Justice Jennifer Henderson, presiding over oral arguments, said Carney may be involved in deliberations before a final decision is published at a later date.
