Grandmaster Flash is ready to rewind the turntables of time and spotlight Hip-Hop’s early days in his upcoming memoir, Birth of a Culture, arriving fall 2026 through HarperCollins’ Amistad imprint.

The Hip-Hop pioneer will team up with journalist Robert “Scoop” Jackson for the project, which shifts away from the personal themes of his 2008 autobiography, The Adventures of Grandmaster Flash: My Life, My Beats and instead focuses on the genre’s roots and evolution.

“This story has been on my mind for a very long time. It depicts the early history and many subject matters that pertain to the culture called Hip-Hop,” Flash told Rolling Stone. “I talk about my come-up, I express my thoughts and opinions with others. I reminisced about what it was and what it has become. It entails joy, pain, real life, fun, drama, math, and science.”

The memoir will revisit Flash’s trailblazing techniques, such as his Quick Mix Theory, a method that helped redefine how DJs looped breakbeats.

His innovations in scratching, backspinning and punch phrasing laid the groundwork for the rise of MCs and breakdancers in the 1970s Bronx.

HarperCollins executive Paul Olsewski described the new book as a departure from Flash’s first memoir.

“[Birth of a Culture] is completely different because it includes interviews from the people along his journey. And he highlights how their relationships shaped the culture,” Olsewski said. “[The Adventures of Grandmaster Flash] focused on his childhood trauma, addiction, and incorporated life lessons learned. This book isn’t that at all. It doesn’t discuss his childhood trauma or incorporate life lessons. It discusses the culture of Hip-Hop and the historical aspects.”

Flash rose to prominence alongside Kool Herc and Afrika Bambaataa during Hip-Hop’s formative years in the Bronx.

His technical creativity helped define the role of the DJ and earned him a spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as the first DJ to be inducted.

Flash will also lend his voice to the audiobook version, offering a personal narration of Hip-Hop’s rise from neighborhood block parties to a global movement.

Megan Thee Stallion stood before a federal jury in Miami Thursday morning to confront Milagro Gramz, the blogger she says has tormented her for years with false claims and damaging content tied to the 2020 shooting involving Tory Lanez.

The Grammy-winning rapper testified in her defamation lawsuit against Gramz, also known as Milagro Cooper. The trial has peeled back layers of online harassment, alleged coordination with Lanez’s family and the circulation of a doctored explicit video that Gramz admitted she believed was real.

“She said she felt the guilty verdict vindicated her, but said afterwards that the hatred became louder,” referencing Lanez’s conviction and 10-year sentence for shooting Pete in July 2020.

As Megan Thee Stallion left the courthouse tonight, @papillonsocial1 asked what she wants other bloggers to know about their behavior online.

Megan Thee Stallion described the aftermath as a period of emotional and professional fallout, worsened by Gramz’s online attacks. The courtroom was shown X-rays of bullet fragments lodged in Megan Thee Stallion’s foot, which required surgery.

As she spoke about the shooting, Megan Thee Stallion grew visibly emotional, telling jurors she still attends therapy and often feels like “no one cared that she was shot.”

“Everybody thought that I deserved to get shot because I talk about sex and I twerk and I drink,” she testified, according to reporter Meghann Cunifh.

The trial, which began earlier this week, revealed that Milagro Gramz received more than $3,000 in electronic payments from Lanez’s father, Sonstar Peterson, between October 2020 and March 2022.

The transactions, which ranged from $200 to $1,000, coincided with Milagro Gramz’s public defense of Lanez and her repeated attempts to discredit Pete.

Text messages presented in court showed Gramz promising Lanez that an “exclusive story would change her life” in September 2020. She also visited Lanez and his father in Miami in February 2022, where she promoted his “Cap” music video.

When called to the stand, Milagro Gramz admitted she believed a sexually explicit deepfake video of Meg was authentic when she shared it with her audience.

Under Florida law, distributing non-consensual explicit content, even if believed to be real, can carry both criminal and civil consequences.

Gramz’s attorney, Jeremy McLymont, argued she was simply expressing her opinion, saying she called Megan Thee Stallion a liar “because Megan lied.”

But Megan Thee Stallion’s legal team pointed out Milagro Gramz had no direct knowledge of the shooting and refused to name her sources in court.

On the stand, Gramz also said the payments from Lanez’s father were for “personal reasons, including birthday gifts for her children and promotional work for Peterson’s podcast and book.”

But the timeline of those payments aligned closely with her anti-Megan content.

The lawsuit accuses Gramz of acting as a “paid surrogate” for Lanez, working to “denigrate, belittle, insult, and spread false statements about Ms. Pete on her online social media platforms, for no other reason than to bully, harass and punish Ms. Pete for Mr. Peterson’s conviction and to tarnish her reputation, causing emotional distress.”

Court filings also revealed that Milagro Gramz deleted thousands of messages and removed WhatsApp from her phone, in violation of a court preservation order. The judge told jurors they could assume the deleted material would have harmed Gramz’s defense.

Megan Thee Stallion’s attorneys argued the harassment campaign cost her significant career opportunities, including a potential partnership with Google.

Meg is seeking damages for cyberstalking, emotional distress, false light invasion of privacy and the distribution of altered sexual imagery.

“Just because you have freedom of speech does not mean you have freedom to bully,” Megan told reporters leaving the courthouse in a clip captured by reporter Cunfih.

The company transformed her son’s umbilical cord into what they describe as “your baby’s umbilical cord dehydrated in the shape of a heart, and then dipped in gold chrome.”

The keepsake, priced at $50, is offered as an add-on to the company’s $500 placenta encapsulation service, which processes the placenta into pill form for postpartum use.

The company also created a $65 Placenta Print for Cardi, dyed blue and styled to resemble the Tree of Life. Mommy Made Encapsulation shared the whole process on Instagram, including footage of the umbilical cord being shaped with wire before dehydration and chrome application.

The company has processed over 40,000 placentas and has worked with Cardi before.

In 2024, they documented a similar procedure for her third child, Blossom Belle Cephus. They’ve also provided services for Megan Fox and Vanessa Hudgens, helping normalize the practice among celebrity parents.

The timing of the reveal also fueled speculation about Cardi’s relationship with Diggs after she was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand in photos with the newborn.

She has not commented publicly on any engagement.

Ken Carson has fans buzzing across continents as he was revealed as one of the headliners for Rolling Loud Australia, which returns in 2026 after a seven-year break with a two-city takeover featuring Gunna.

The Hip-Hop festival will land in Sydney on March 7 at Centennial Park before heading to Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse on March 8. This marks Rolling Loud’s largest Australian footprint to date, expanding from its original one-city format in 2019.

The 2026 lineup brings together heavyweight names and rising voices. Alongside Carson and Gunna, the bill includes Tyga, Quavo, Swae Lee and Sexyy Red. Regulars like Ski Mask The Slump God, Lil TJay and Robb Bank$ return to the stage, while fresh talent such as Ian, Osamason and Rich Amiri add new energy to the roster.

Australian Hip-Hop will also take center stage with dedicated platforms in both cities. Acts like Hooligan Hefs, Youngn Lipz, Day1, Amarni, Lil Golo & Cult Shotta, 4ourttune and Jonny Chopps will represent the local scene. Each city will also feature exclusive regional artists, though the core lineup remains consistent.

Tickets flew fast. Pre-sale passes sold out within 24 hours, reflecting the demand for the festival’s return. General admission tickets are now available with tiered pricing that increases as inventory drops.

Rolling Loud’s first Australian event in 2019 sold out in an hour and left a lasting impact.

That show featured Future, Playboi Carti, Rae Sremmurd, Tyga, and Manu Crook$, with a surprise appearance by The Kid LAROI during DJ Scheme’s set, which became a defining moment in the country’s Hip-Hop history.

The brand’s international growth continues with a November stop in Mumbai, India, where Central Cee, Wiz Khalifa, Don Toliver and Karan Aujla are set to perform.

In California, Rolling Loud recently made headlines when Playboi Carti delivered a 2.5-hour set and Peso Pluma became the first Latin artist to headline the festival.

Founded in 2015 by Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, Rolling Loud has grown from a Miami-based event into what many consider the world’s largest Hip-Hop festival, with stops across North America, Europe, Asia and now Oceania.

Kim Kardashian revealed a serious health scare tied to her relentless study routine during the November 20 episode of The Kardashians, telling viewers that doctors discovered a brain aneurysm during a routine full-body scan.

“They called me today and they’re like, ‘Everything looks great but you have an aneurysm in your brain,’” Kardashian said. “They’re like, ‘It’s been there for years.’”

The 43-year-old entrepreneur and aspiring lawyer broke the news to her sister Kourtney after consulting with respected neurosurgeon Dr. Keith Black.

He advised her to undergo more scans at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, which led to a troubling revelation: the aneurysm could be aggravated by stress, something Kim has in abundance.

“I’m like, ‘OK, I’m taking the bar exam. I’m studying 10 hours a day,’” she said. “The stress has been next level to the point of hives now.”

Kim’s intense commitment to becoming a lawyer, inspired by her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., has become a full-time pursuit. But the pressure of balancing her legal studies, business ventures and parenting four children with ex-husband Kanye West—North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, has taken a toll.

“I have four kids that depend on me. I have to be sane,” she said. “It’s stressful out there, but this aneurysm can’t be stressed.”

Kourtney didn’t hide her concern. “I’m definitely worried about Kim,” she said. “She has so much going on between work and her four kids that I don’t want her to have an aneurysm.”

Despite the diagnosis, Kim isn’t backing down from her academic goals. In the episode, she explained how her educational journey has also become a teachable moment for her children.

“I love that my kids see me go to school,” she said. “When I drop them off at school, they see me go to school. I enjoy that.”

Kim admitted she’s “addicted to studying” and thrives on learning. “I just wouldn’t feel like myself if I wasn’t always learning and trying new things,” she said.

Her latest attempt at the bar exam didn’t go as planned. On November 8, she posted on Instagram, “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up – just more studying and even more determination.”

She added, “Falling short isn’t a failure – it’s fuel.”

Earlier this month, she told Good Morning America that she’s trying to keep her health in check. “Health is wealth. And you just have to be careful with everything that you do.”

Antonio Brown tossed out a grim joke about Charlie Kirk’s assassination during a livestream football game with Tekashi 6ix9ine and YouTuber Adin Ross, drawing conservative backlash.

While running routes outside 6ix9ine’s Florida home, Antonio Brown cracked, “No one’s gonna Charlie Kirk me, right,” a reference to the conservative commentator, who was shot and killed during a campus debate at Utah Valley University.

The remark landed poorly, especially given the politically charged fallout that followed Kirk’s death. The livestream, which took place amid heightened security following a break-in at 6ix9ine’s residence, featured both men taking lie detector tests.

“Evidently these people don’t believe their words will come back to them,” one user said. Another fumed: “Charlie Kirk was a better man than his jerk. His heart is black. It’s unreal just how low people will go nowadays.”

Brown failed when asked if he regretted his infamous shirtless exit from MetLife Stadium in 2022. He did, however, pass when expressing affection for his former Pittsburgh Steelers teammate Ben Roethlisberger.

Brown’s legal troubles began months earlier in May, when he allegedly fired a gun at Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu during a boxing event hosted by Ross in Miami.

Nantambu, who gained notoriety for waving a Palestinian flag during Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show, was later arrested in June for resisting an officer and disrupting a public event.

Video from the Miami incident appears to show Brown in a heated parking lot confrontation before gunfire scattered the crowd.

Authorities issued a warrant for Brown’s arrest, leading to his extradition from Dubai. He has pleaded not guilty to second-degree attempted murder with a deadly weapon.

Meanwhile, 6ix9ine is staring down his own legal problems.

He’s scheduled to be sentenced on December 5, 2025, after violating probation terms tied to his 2018 racketeering case. Federal prosecutors want him behind bars for several months, citing repeated violations.

The backlash against others mocking Kirk’s assassination has been widespread. Some people lost jobs at airlines, schools and hospitals over social media posts mocking the tragedy.
