Son Of Former Canadian PM Dragged Over R&B Video As Dad’s Affair With Katy Perry Heats Up

Xavier Trudeau continues to draw criticism for his musical pursuits, as the 18-year-old R&B artist released his latest music video, “The Dive,” amid his father’s public relationship with pop superstar Katy Perry.

The newly minted adult, who performs under the stage name Xav, dropped the dramatic visual on Friday, showcasing him astride horses and behind the wheel of luxury sports cars.

The production also features a contemplative cameo from his father, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who appears to observe his son’s performance with paternal pride.

Viewers quickly flooded social media with harsh assessments of Xavier’s vocal abilities and the video’s theatrical presentation.

The timing of the release coincides with heightened public interest in the Trudeau family following Justin’s confirmed romance with Katy Perry.

The pair made their relationship official at Paris’s Crazy Horse venue on October 25, celebrating Perry’s 41st birthday after months of speculation about their connection.

Xavier launched his music career in February with debut single “Til The Nights Done,” marking his transition from political family member to aspiring R&B performer who wants to be as big as Drake.

The teenager previously explained his motivation for pursuing music over politics during a February interview with the Brandon Gonez Show.

“As I got older, I started realizing, like, this is fun, this is cool, but this isn’t me. I’m not the one who did this for myself,” Xavier stated. “This is all because of my dad and what he’s accomplished – and I’ve so much respect for what he’s done, but I want to create what I want to create.”

Despite the mixed reception, Justin Trudeau has publicly supported his son’s artistic endeavors, promoting “The Dive” on his social media platforms in recent months.

Xavier’s entry into the entertainment industry comes as his father navigates a new chapter following his August 2023 separation from Sophie Gregoire Trudeau after 18 years of marriage.

The former couple shares Xavier and two other children: 16-year-old Ella-Grace and 11-year-old Hadrien.

Snoop Dogg Teams Up With 60-Year-Old Uber Driver UrFavGrannie For Viral Rap Track

Snoop Dogg rolled through California with a lyrical surprise riding shotgun as he joined forces with UrFavGrannie for their new track “Makin’ It Out Da Hood G Mix,” a music video that blends West Coast swagger with raw storytelling from a 60-year-old Uber driver turned viral rapper.

The collaboration took off after Snoop Dogg reposted one of UrFavGrannie’s Instagram freestyles, praising her delivery and flow.

That online nod quickly turned into a real-world opportunity when a third party stepped in to fly her out to California and cover her travel expenses.

“They reached out and just like genuinely, I could tell it was genuinely something they just wanted to do for me, and they offered to, you know, get me to California and pay for my room and flight and everything,” UrFavGrannie said.

The video, already at 200,000 views on YouTube, features the Virginia native behind the wheel of a white Land Rover, cruising through Los Angeles before scooping up Snoop himself.

“I’m still speechless,” she said. “Snoop is that person. He is very genuine. He really wants to help people. His authenticity, you can feel it.”

Born in Norfolk and raised in the foster care system, UrFavGrannie—real name not disclosed—faced a turbulent childhood marked by instability and run-ins with the law.

Now based in Henrico, Virginia, she uses music to reflect on those struggles and inspire others, especially older women who may feel overlooked in the Hip-Hop world.

She began rapping in 2021, but her social media presence predates her music, with more than 355,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 400,000 on TikTok.

The track is available on all major streaming platforms, though she notes it’s “not suitable for younger audiences.”

Royce da 5’9″ Details Health Battle That Nearly Ended His Rap Career

Royce da 5’9″ pushed through a debilitating neurological condition while helping shape Big L’s posthumous project, revealing in a new interview that he spent years battling lingual dystonia—a rare disorder that disrupted his ability to speak and nearly halted his music career.

“There’s some kind of interruption in the nerve firing off in my tongue,” Royce said in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, reflecting on his health struggles during the production of Harlem’s Finest: Return of the King. The disorder caused involuntary spasms in his tongue, making it difficult to talk, let alone deliver his signature complex rhymes.

The Detroit rapper said his condition stemmed from a deeper set of neurological issues. “My cranial nerves and my vagus nerve were all inflamed. I got a genetic condition called the COMT gene that processes dopamine slower than normal,” he said. “And when I did a neurochemistry test, [I found out] the left hemisphere of my brain produces less dopamine than the right. So not only is it less dopamine, but it’s an imbalance as well.”

Low dopamine levels can trigger symptoms similar to Parkinson’s disease and ADHD. Royce explained, “When your dopamine is low, that’s like Parkinson’s, ADHD… I had involuntary movements in my face and in my tongue. So they went on this long thing where they would put me on all these different kinds of medicines.”

Royce da 5’9″ Confirms He’s Back In The Studio

Doctors initially misdiagnosed his symptoms, prolonging his struggle. But after years of treatment and testing, he’s finally regaining control. Royce confirmed he’s “almost through it,” adding that he’s now back in the studio.

The timing of his recovery aligned with the release of Harlem’s Finest, which dropped on Halloween 2025. Royce served as executive co-producer on the album, which features appearances from Nas, Method Man, Mac Miller, JAY-Z and Joey Bada$$.

Diddy Seen Talking To Ex-NBA Player In Prison Yard Photo

Diddy shared a quiet moment with Sebastian Telfair in the prison yard of Fort Dix, marking the music mogul’s first public appearance since his September 2024 arrest on federal charges.

The 55-year-old founder of Bad Boy Records was seen in newly surfaced photos obtained by TMZ, showing him speaking with the former NBA guard, both dressed in matching gray sweats and blue jackets.

Diddy, sporting a knit beanie and a salt-and-pepper beard, appeared composed during the outdoor conversation at the New Jersey federal facility.

The sighting comes weeks after Diddy was handed a 50-month sentence following his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

He avoided more severe penalties after being cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering charges in July. Judge Arun Subramanian also ordered him to pay a $500,000 fine and serve five years of supervised release after completing his prison term.

The Hip-Hop producer was moved to Fort Dix on October 30 after spending over a year at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. That time will count toward his sentence, which is scheduled to end in May 2028.

Telfair, 40, is also serving time at Fort Dix for violating the terms of his supervised release in a healthcare fraud case.

He pleaded guilty in March 2023 to submitting false medical claims to the NBA’s health and welfare plan and was initially sentenced to three years of probation.

After failing to meet the terms of his release—including missing court-ordered service and skipping check-ins with his probation officer—he was sentenced to six months behind bars and reported to Fort Dix in August 2025.

Telfair’s professional basketball career spanned a decade, beginning in 2004 when he was drafted straight out of Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn.

He played for several teams, including the Portland Trail Blazers, Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves. Diddy’s legal team recently scored a minor victory when a judge agreed to fast-track the appeal of his conviction.

His current sentence is set to end in May 2028, taking into account the time already served.

50 Cent Expands Media Empire At Break Neck Speed With New Taraji P. Henson Project

Taraji P. Henson is set to bring her powerhouse acting skills to Peacock’s upcoming adaptation of 50 Cent’s debut novel “The Accomplice,” marking another major collaboration between the entertainment mogul and a top-tier Hollywood star.

According to Deadline, the “Empire” and “Hidden Figures” actress will star as Nia Adams, a fearless Texas Ranger hunting master thief Desmond Bell, whose latest target involves one of America’s wealthiest families.

As Adams closes in on her prey, she discovers a conspiracy so explosive that it forces her to choose between exposing the truth and protecting the system she has sworn to serve.

The project is a collaboration between UCP, G-Unit Films and Television, and Henson’s TPH Entertainment. Both 50 and Henson serve as non-writing executive producers, though no writer has been attached yet.

“The Accomplice,” co-written with Aaron Philip Clark and published last month, represents 50 Cent’s literary debut.

The book-to-screen adaptation arrives as Henson continues her hot streak, having recently inked a two-picture film deal with Netflix and a first-look deal with Fox Entertainment Studios.

Fif’s entertainment empire continues expanding at breakneck speed.

The Hip-Hop mogul has just invested $50 million in his ambitious “50 Cent Economic District” initiative in Shreveport, Louisiana, acquiring 20 properties across the city to transform it into a Southern media powerhouse.

“In the short period of time, I’ve come to like the people of Shreveport differently,” 50 Cent said during a ceremony where Mayor Tom Arceneaux presented him with a key to the city. “It feels like home for me, and eventually it’ll be home because I have some work to do.”

According to Gerod Durden, CEO of the Durden Property Group and 50 Cent’s real estate partner, the Queens native is now the largest private landowner in Shreveport. The purchases include a $1.02 million multi-lot property at 301 Spring Street and a $150,000 building at 401 Spring Street.

Fifty locked in a 30-year lease for the city-owned Stageworks Louisiana facility for just $200 a month, giving his G-Unit Films & Television Louisiana LLC complete control to produce television shows, films and other content.

His team is already mapping out several projects for 2026, including two reality shows, one scripted series and a possible feature film.

“I promise you, I’ll overdeliver with Shreveport,” 50 Cent told the City Council. “I have programs and plans for the facilities, so you’ll be able to look at the things that are happening throughout the year, and it’ll be actively used in a different way.”

The timing proves strategic as Shreveport was recently ranked the fifth most “needy” city in the U.S. by a 2024 Wallethub study, citing high unemployment and crime rates. But 50 Cent sees potential where others see decline, with his plan including a proposed two percent sales tax in the Red River District to help fund redevelopment.

Beyond “The Accomplice,” 50 Cent maintains a packed slate, including the British boxing drama “Fightland” at Starz, home to his “Power” franchise, which spans multiple series.

He’s also developing “Hip Hop Cop” based on Ron Stallworth’s memoir “The Gangs of Zion” at Hulu and producing a docuseries about Sean “Diddy” Combs at Netflix.
