Jason Aldean’s record label and team pulled off an epic surprise for the country superstar during Country Radio Seminar (CRS) on Thursday when he was honored with a 31 No. 1 party.
The star-studded event was hosted by BMG Americas’ President, Frontline Recordings Jon Loba and BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s EVP, Recorded Music JoJamie Hahr, and brought together Aldean’s friends and heroes to celebrate the Georgia native’s career, which includes 13 Top 10 country albums and 31 No. 1 hits at country radio.
Blake Shelton kicked off the night with a performance of Aldean’s No. 1 hit “When She Says Baby” and later recited a self-written poem that had the entire room laughing. Later, Aldean’s all-time favorite band, Alabama, took the stage to perform one of his favorite songs, “The Closer You Get,” marking a full-circle moment as Aldean often performed the track during his early sets as a rising artist.
Travis Tritt, Aldean’s longtime friend and musical hero, also surprised the crowd with a performance of Aldean’s chart-topping hit “Night Train.” The celebration continued with a major moment when Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line reunited to perform Aldean’s No. 1 hit that they co-wrote with Morgan Wallen and Jordan Schmidt, “You Make It Easy.”

“This is crazy…this is wild. I feel like this is every songwriter that’s ever written on my records. I had no idea about tonight – I thought I was coming to play one song and hang out for a minute and go home,” he admitted from the stage. “Thank you so much for being here. All the writers here tonight are why I have a career so thank you so much. Between these guys and you all at country radio, Jon Loba, and everyone at BBR, thank you for tonight and for the last twenty years. I’m blown away.”
This surprise 31 No. 1 party leads into another big moment for Aldean: the release of his new album, Songs About Us, which is set to drop on April 24.

Jeff Webb has died.
The entrepreneur was hospitalized for weeks following an incident while playing pickleball.
In life, Webb’s biggest claim to fame was revolutionizing and modernizing cheerleading.
He also served as a mentor to one of America’s most divisive figures.
He changed cheerleading forever
On Thursday, March 19, Jeff Webb passed away at the age of 76.
He had been hospitalized two weeks earlier following a pickleball injury that involved a fall, Cheer Daily reports.
It seems that he was unable to regain consciousness amidst this health crisis.
Ultimately, Webb’s family took him off of life support.
Webb leaves a complex legacy. First and foremost, he is famous for revolutionizing cheerleading.
In 1974, Webb founded Varsity Spirit, an iconic American cheerleading company.
That same year, he founded the Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA).
Through these and other business ventures (including acquisitions), Webb is credited with modernizing cheerleading, making it more competitive, and bringing mainstream attention to the sport.
At the same time, he has received criticism for monopolistic actions — consolidating so much of cheerleading under one massive umbrella.
Regardless, critics and fans alike can agree that he was a titan who reshaped cheerleading as we know it.
He was a mentor to an extremely polarizing figure of the far right
According to the Arroe Collins Like It’s Live podcast, Jeff Webb also “helped guide” Charlie Kirk’s “early rise.”
According to Webb, he met Kirk at a dinner in Atlanta, when a mutual friend introduced them.
Webb publicly recalled meeting Kirk, saying: “He had an incredible amount of charisma, he had a great sense of humor.”
His retrospective praise continued: “He was fun to be around, and he was dedicated.”
Clearly, he saw a very different side of Kirk than the targets of Kirk’s organization did. That makes sense.
On September 10, 2025, Kirk was shot and killed.
“We probably lost a future president,” Webb said in an interview with Real America’s Voice the following week.
He was actually not the first to say that.
During the initial manhunt, even Kirk’s strongest critics made references (mostly joking) to the idea of a time traveler being the culprit. That was not the case.
Clearly, Webb meant this is a more mournful context than those who feared the specter of an America under Kirk.

Our thoughts are with his family
As we noted, Webb left a complex legacy.
He revolutionized cheer, but he also helped drive the pernicious social forces that have America where it is today.
Leading a polarizing life means that many may feel divided over how to respond to his death.
Simply put, if you didn’t have strong feelings about Webb in life, then there’s no need to develop them upon his passing.
The same was true of Kirk, by the way. The dead do not need fans or haters. Save that energy for the living.

We have tragic news to report out of Hollywood:
Carrie Anne Fleming — the actress best known for her roles on Supernatural and iZombie — has passed away.
She was just 51 years old.
News of Fleming’s death comes courtesy or a statement from her representative:
“She died peacefully with her loved ones by her side,” the rep told People magazine, adding:
“It was a great privilege to have known Carrie. She was a beautiful soul, inspiring, and above all, kind. She will be greatly missed.”
Fleming’s team also confirmed that she passed away of complications from breast cancer.
Though she accumulated dozens of film and television credits over the course of her decades in the in industry, Carrie was likely best known as the wife to Jim Beaver’s character on Supernatural.
“She was a powerhouse of vitality and goodwill and amazingly good nature, with a rapturous laugh and an utterly adorable personality that didn’t seem to have an off switch,” Beaver said today in a social media post.
Born in 1974 in Digby, Nova Scotia, Fleming landed her first film role in the 1996 comedy classic Happy Gilmore.
In the decades that followed, she became an in-demand star, especially in projects in the horror and sci-fi genres.
In addition to her work on Supernatural, Fleming was a regular on all five seasons of iZombie, which ran on the CW from 2015 to 2019.
She also received positive reviews for her work on horror series like Masters of Horror, The Tooth Fairy, and Bloodsuckers.
Fleming remained active in the Vancouver theater scene until the end of her life, landing roles in productions of Romeo and Juliet, Fame, and Steel Magnolias.
She is survived by her daughter, Madalyn Rose. Our thoughts go out to Carrie’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

That’s a hell of a fight. But what was it about?
Alan Ritchson was involved in a physical confrontation over the weekend.
A violent video shows the Titans, Reacher, and War Machine actor appearing to knock a neighbor into next week.
But a follow-up report provides what may be some pretty essential context.
The Alan Ritchson video is intense
TMZ published footage from an incident on Sunday, March 22.
The video offers almost no context — but shows actor Alan Ritchson in a physical fight with another man.
This apparent brawl appears one-sided during the limited run of the video.
We can see the actor eventually ride off on his motorcycle, which was previously on the asphalt and then the grass.
Two children — reportedly his children — ride behind him on their own bikes, not participating in the fight.
According to what the alleged victim, Ronnie Taylor, told TMZ, this started on Saturday, with Taylor, irritated by the sound of Ritchson riding by on his green Kawasaki motorcycle, flipped off the actor.
Taylor says that Ritchson returned the gesture, but there is no confirmation of this.
On Sunday, around noon, the actor rode by, this time accompanied by the two kids — each on their own bikes.
Taylor has claimed that he simply approached Ritchson to demand: “Can you f–king stop this please.”
In his filing with police, Taylor claims that Ritchson punched him in the face and kicked him and also struck him in the back of the head. Though he did not go to the hospital, he did report bruises and swelling.
In an investigation, details matter
According to a follow-up report, Ronnie Taylor isn’t exactly some random victim of suburban motorcycle road rage.
Sources told the outlet that Taylor bolted into the street to intercept Ritchson on his motorcycle in a “really aggressive” manner.
Though thankfully both children avoided a crash, Ritchson did not. He crashed, suffering cuts and bruises and a minor injury to his finger.
Taylor reportedly yelled at the actor, even yelling at him to hit him. Ritchson declined to take the bait, and climbed up onto his motorcycle to depart.
This, the report says, is when Taylor shoved Ritchson off of his motorcycle.
Apparently, this is where the video picks up — with Taylor learning the consequences of his alleged actions.
It is unclear why only part of the confrontation was published.
Perhaps Taylor was the one who provided the video.
Alternatively, it is possible that someone only began recording at this stage of the conflict.
Regardless, since Taylor seems to be pressing charges, one can only hope that authorities will have more than one statement and a short video as they investigate.
He might not be able to share HIS side of the story (due to the investigation)
Social media replies are not quite sharply divided between people who have seen the video and people who have seen the follow-up report.
Yes, there are people who saw the video and nothing else, but incurious;y chalked things up to “‘roid rage.”
Others have been asking sensible questions — like what led to the motorcycle being on its side in the middle of the road, for example.
Perhaps Taylor has answers to these questions. Only time will tell.
For now, we’ve heard both sides of the story. One says that an actor decided to pause a bike ride with his kids to inflict violence upon a rude neighbor. The other says that a rude neighbor accosted an actor, shoving him onto the asphalt more than once, and then received a beatdown.
It will be interesting to eventually hear Ritchson’s version of events — though he will likely be unable to speak on the topic due to pending litigation.
