Morgan Wallen continues to prove that he knows how to make an entrance. This summer, the country superstar has revived one of his fan-favorite traditions that began during his record-breaking One Night at a Time Tour in 2024. Before each show, he builds anticipation before hitting the mic by welcoming a special guest to join him in his iconic walkout moment.

The walk-out has become a signature part of Wallen’s live show experience and is often accompanied by the song “Broadway Girls.” However for several of his latest stops on the I’m the Problem, he has switched up his walkout song for his new version of “Miami” with Lil Wayne and Rick Ross.

In the past, he has been joined by various guests including athletes like Travis Kelce, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Mike Tyson, musicians such as Drake, Brooks & Dunn, Moneybagg Yo and many other celebrities. Now, as his I’m the Problem Tour continues to make its way across U.S. and Canada, the star-studded tradition has officially returned.

Wallen kicked things off with a bang on June 20–21 in Houston, TX, where he welcomed Houston Texans Hall of Fame wide receiver Andre Johnson and beloved Houston salesman Mattress Mack for night one of the back-to-back shows. For night two at NRG Stadium, he made his way to the stage alongside the company of rapper Drake and former Houston Astros pitcher Roger Clemens.

The stadium run will also feature a rotating lineup of opening acts, including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel as well as direct supporters Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson.

Justin Moore didn’t have to pull any industry strings or jump through a lot of hoops to get Dierks Bentley to sing on the album version of his single, “Time’s Ticking.” All it took was a text between two artists whose paths have crossed many times over the past 20 years.

The tune was born during a writing session between Moore, Randy Montana, Will Bundy and Jeremy Stover at a Florida Panhandle property back in February of 2023. As the story was coming together, Moore admits he could already hear Bentley’s rugged vocals making the perfect addition. Still, he was still hesitant to reach out in fear that he would be bothering him.

“I text him. I said, ‘Man…’ I’m very bad at askin’ favors. I always feel as though I’m bothering people. Maybe that’s not the case, but that’s the way I feel. And so, I texted Dierks and go, ‘Man, I hate to bug you, but I had this song,’” Moore recalls. “So, he texts me right back and said, ‘Man, I’d be honored. Let’s do it.’”

With a resounding “yes” from Dierks Bentely, the two moved forward with creating the new version of the song. This collaboration also marks a full circle moment from the artists, due to the fact that they both moved to Nashville in the early 2000’s with goals of chasing their dreams in the booming genre of country music. They’ve watched each other work their way up the ladder for over two decades and now they can finally say that their voices have found a home together.

“To have Dierks Bentley on it, who’s a great friend and a great parent, and just an all -around great person, and somebody I have a lot of respect for – to have him on it … for him to do it and do such a great job with it, it makes the song even that much more special,” Moore told his label.

“Time’s Ticking” has a pretty “simple” message, according to Moore. It was Jeremy Stover who brough the idea for the title, after he was inspired while reflecting on the feeling that time moves far too fast, especially in the realm of parenthood.  

 “My kids are getting a little older,” Stover shared with Billboard “and just thinking on some of the moments I’ve missed, but also some of the ones I’ve been there for — you know, the ones I’ve been there for have been really, really valuable, and I appreciate a lot. That’s a big part of where that comes from.”

From there, the songwriters added in bits and pieces of their creativity until the entire song was complete. This song offers a clear reminder to slow down and focus on what really matters. It starts with a quiet, reflective scene of a man watching a funeral procession pass by as he pulls into a Kwik Sak. He’s suddenly hit with the realization that life is fragile and fleeting. That moment triggers a shift in perspective, captured through powerful lyrics that urge listeners to start savoring the small things like calling your mom, kissing your kids, and making memories with friends.

They sing, “So call your mama, kiss your babies/ Pick the one some roadside daisies/ Drink a beer with back-home buddies/ Make a memory, not just money/ Spinner bait a good honey hole/ Sunday drive’s good for the soul/ Put a little slow in your roll or you’re gonna miss it/ Time’s a-ticking.”

Justin Moore’s recording of “Time’s Ticking” with Dierks Bentley appears on 2024’s This Is My Dirt album. The project also features collaborations with Randy Houser on “The Worst” and Blake Shelton on “Beer Ain’t One.”

After a scary hospital stay, Emmy Russell and her husband, Tyler Ward, have finally brought their baby girl, Taylor Raydiant Ward, home. The American Idol alum shared an update with fans on Wednesday, July 23, stating that while their little one is doing better, they’re not completely out of the woods just yet.

Late Sunday evening, the couple revealed that they noticed their daughter having some mild spasms over the past few days. Initially, they thought that it was just normal “fussy” behavior for a teething baby, but after taking Taylor to the hospital, they discovered she was actually having infantile spasms.

She was kept overnight to monitor her symptoms and do an electroencephalogram (EEG), which measures electrical activity in the brain to possibly help diagnose epilepsy or other brain conditions. Tyler explained that through research, he found that what Taylor is dealing with is “0.02% of conditions, so very, very rare.” Luckily, it treated early, he says that results have a 50/50 chance of being positive.

So far, things appear to be on an upward trend for the baby girl.

“We saw her this morning before we gave to the MRI and she seems like she’s more herself, but they issued some steroids to help the brain activity slow down. She hasn’t spasmed today, which is huge. So the MRI results will reveal in the future,” he added in the video posted to Instagram on Tuesday, July 23.

This morning, Emmy, granddaughter of Loretta Lynn, hopped on her Instagram story to reveal that Taylor is now home, feeling very hungry and appears to have returned to her bubbly state.

“She’s babbling. She smiled at us this morning. I’m just praying for a full recovery. But yeah, she’s just really hungry of all the medicine, but she’s doing really good. She’s so beautiful. I’m so glad that she’s home and I pray that everything’s going to be fine,” Emmy shared with hope in her voice.

The next steps involve genetic testing and a few changes at home, like refraining from microwaving her milk and avoiding any screens for the moment.

Latest Update Reveals MRI Results

A another video has since been uploaded to Instagram, revealing the results of Taylor’s MRI that they received while still in the hospital. A medical professional, who was not the radiologist, can be heard explaining that from their perspective, nothing “scary” was found on the scan. The video then jumps to a current clip of Emmy and Tyler back home after getting confirmation from the radiologist that the results did in fact appear to be “normal” except for one concern, which they have chosen to keep private for the moment.

“She has two weeks of medication and then a follow up. So in two weeks, we’ll know for sure but as of now, it is a miracle,” Tyler stated.

Emmy jumped to add, “It’s actually a miracle. With infantile spasms, it’s very severe and scary and so the fact that she has no problems with her brain is a miracle.”

The Couple Received Thousands of Prayers

Throughout this very stressful time with their little one, Emmy Russell and Tyler Ward continue to thank fans for their ongoing support.

“We feel like y’all’s prayers and support have actually made a huge difference,” Tyler shared humbly. “Seeing the support, I don’t even have words. I’m just really grateful and I know that Emmy is grateful.”

In their latest video, he continued, “Just us having people in our corner was a game changer. Emmy asked me in the very beginning, ‘hey can we just share with people? Cause I don’t want to feel alone in this.’”

With tears in her eyes, Emmy added, “We’ve had thousands and thousands and thousands of prayers. It really means so much cause this is a a human and i want her to thrive and i would love every version of Taylor but I’m just so grateful that her MRI on her brain looked good. It’s so rare to get those results.”

Emmy And Tyler’s Love Story

The lovebirds met through Tyler’s Nashville company, Song House. Shortly after welcoming their baby girl, PEOPLE broke the news that they had also secretly tied the knot in 2024 with an intimate living room ceremony.

Taylor Raydiant Ward’s arrival into the world was announced on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The parents shared the news with a heartfelt video of Tyler holding his newborn at just 12 hours old in the hospital room.

Throughout their journey together, Emmy and Tyler have channeled their shared love for music into three collaborative tracks: ‘We Should Get Out Of Here,’ ‘Phone Call to Heaven,’ and ‘London Bridges.’”

Miranda Lambert says she and Chris Stapleton channeled their inner Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton on their new duet, “A Song To Sing.” 

The just-released tune finds the superstar artists using music as a metaphor for love. The tender ballad is set to a groovy disco-style melody, and truly stands out from anything else that’s on country radio today. 

During a recent conversation with Cody Alan on SiriusXM’s The Highway, Lambert recalled co-writing the song with Chris Stapleton, Jesse Frasure, and Jenee Fleenor, and revealed that it was actually written a few years ago.

“I had a date with Jesse Frazier and he randomly reached out to Chris kind of last minute and was like, ‘Hey, you wouldn’t happen to be around today? Me and Miranda are just writing for kind of fun,’” she recalled. 

Lambert, who credits Frazier for helping her to step outside her comfort zone, said Stapleton texted him back and that got things into motion.  

“And Chris was available, so he came over and he actually, Jenee Fleenor, who is an amazing fiddle player, sort of her and Jesse had worked on this track and sort of got this groovy kind of 70s thing going. So she wasn’t in the room that day, but her parts really drove this beat,” she explained. “And, we wrote two songs that day, but it’s been around for like a couple of years. It just wasn’t time, I guess we couldn’t really figure out what project it fit on or where it should go.”

The song finally found its moment, and Lambert and Stapleton headed to Savannah, Georgia last year to record it with producer Dave Cobb.

“I mean, I got to just hang in Savannah for a couple days with the Stapletons and drink some wine and cut a record that to channel our inner Kenny and Dolly, you know what I mean,” she shared. 

The Kenny Rogers/ Dolly Parton inspiration also invaded their group chat, according to Lambert. 

“It was really fun. It was like on our group text, like the memes we keep sending are all the Kenny and Dolly, you know, we really wanted to like, we wanted to fully go there and I feel like we did and paid homage to our heroes,” she said. 

Lambert and Stapleton had the chance to perform the song together for the first time over the weekend at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. 

“Our 1st time ever playing ‘A Song to Sing’ live. Thank you Chris Stapleton & Morgane Stapleton for having me, and to LA for the warm welcome on Saturday,” Lambert shared following their performance.

Together, Lambert and Stapleton have earned a combined 14 GRAMMYs, 33 CMA Awards, and 59 ACM Awards, each leaving a lasting impact on country music with their unique artistry and distinct creative perspectives.
