Jessie James Decker is back with another “stair session,” and this time she’s teaming up with Jessica Andrews to perform one of the biggest country hits of the early 2000s.
In a new Instagram video, Decker is seen sitting on the stairs in her home alongside Andrews as they sing the chart-topping hit “Who I Am” together. They sound beautiful together, harmonizing throughout the chorus, and fans quickly took notice, leaving comments such as,

“You guys sound so amazing!” and “I love these staircase serenades. I’m just over here crying for no reason now.” Others praised their song choice, adding, “And I’m immediately transported back into my childhood.”
In the caption, Decker asked, “Who remembers this one?”
She went on to reflect on the song and praise Andrews as both a friend and a talented vocalist, writing, “One of the biggest country songs of our childhood! I’ve known Jess for many years and I’m lucky to call her a friend. Such a sweet soul and incredible vocalist.”
“Who I Am” tells the story of a girl who feels confident in herself and vows to stay true to who she is, no matter what she achieves or fails to achieve in life. Regardless of success or fame, she recognizes that what truly matters is being grounded in her identity and supported by her friends and family.
“I am Rosemary’s granddaughter/ The spitting image of my father/ And when the day is done my momma’s still my biggest fan/ Sometimes I’m clueless and I’m clumsy/ But I’ve got friends that love me/ And they know just where I stand/ It’s all a part of me/ And that’s who I am,” goes the chorus.
Jessica Andrews recorded “Who I Am” in 2000 after reportedly falling in love with the song’s message and lyrics. Written by the late Brett James and Troy Verges, the track served as both the lead single and title track of her sophomore album, released in 2001. The song went on to become Andrews’ most successful single, and she later performed it at the 2001 CMA Awards.
Jessie James Decker’s latest session with Jessica Andrews follows a recent “stair session” with Jo Dee Messina, where the pair performed Messina’s hit “Lesson in Leavin’.”
Decker frequently shares stripped-down performances like these on Instagram, along with glimpses of her life with her husband, Eric Decker, and their four children.
