Austin, TX is gearing up for a major country music takeover as the annual iHeartCountry Festival prepares to return to the Moody Center for a night of nonstop live music. The event, set for Saturday, May 2, has officially unveiled its 2026 lineup, revealing a roster of chart-toppers and rising stars coming together for an unforgettable evening.
This year’s festival will feature performances by Kane Brown, Parker McCollum, Riley Green, Shaboozey, Dylan Scott, Russell Dickerson, Gretchen Wilson, Chase Matthew and Lauren Alaina. Also returning to the stage this year will be syndicated radio host, Bobby Bones as the official host.
“We can’t wait for fans to experience this year’s incredible lineup, all coming together for one unforgettable night at Moody Center in Austin,” said Rod Phillips, Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartCountry. “It’s always amazing to see the energy and excitement in the crowd when so many great artists share the iHeartCountry stage.”
Fans hoping to get inside to see some of their favorite country acts light up the stage won’t have to wait long as tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 23 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT (12 p.m. CT) via Ticketmaster.com.
Eligible Capital One cardholders get a head start earlier in the week with exclusive access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, January 20 at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT (10 a.m. CT) through Thursday, January 22 at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT (10 a.m. CT) or while presale tickets last. Capital One cardholders can also upgrade their experience with a Capital One Access Pass, which includes entry to a private pre-show party featuring a special performance from Parker McCollum, along with complimentary light food and drinks. David Nail, known for hits like “Red Light” and “Whatever She’s Got,” is taking a new, more stripped-down approach to touring as he heads into 2026.
Rather than hitting the road with a full band, Nail has chosen to scale things back to the essentials: just himself and a guitar. The intimate run of shows will kick off the new year and marks a fresh start for the singer-songwriter following what he has described as a particularly difficult chapter in his life and career.
“In what has been the most challenging year of my career, both personally, and professionally, it became clearer, and clearer, as I got closer to the end of 2025, that if I were going to continue in 2026, I had to clean the slate so to speak, and start fresh,” Nail shared.
A native of Kennett, Missouri, Nail says he’s especially looking forward to this run of shows, noting that the stripped-down format gives him the chance to deliver his music in its most honest and raw form. Without the layers of production, the focus shifts entirely to the songs and the stories behind them — the very elements that have defined his career from the beginning.
“What better way to start fresh, than to start over. This dream began with me, a guitar, and the songs. Just me, as raw, and real as the music can be. No band to hide behind, or to carry me each night. It’s just me, and I’m as excited as I’ve been in a decade…”
Dubbed the Down to the Studs Tour, the trek is set to kick off on January 17 in New Haven, Kentucky and run through April 10 in Austin, Texas. Nail’s 2026 Down to the Studs Tour promises an unmatched level of intimacy, bringing honest music lovers together for nights filled with storytelling and maybe even some new music.
“I might be taking some new music with me…plus all of the songs you know and love,” Nail teased on social media.

Trisha Yearwood knew from a very young age that music was her calling. Looking back on the journey that made her the country music icon she is today, Yearwood admits there was never any doubt or a backup plan when it came to her career.
It all began at age five, when she became determined to reach the same level of success as one of the best-selling artists of all time, Cher. By age six, she had recorded her first songs on a tape recorder while living in Georgia and although there were opportunities to pursue music in her small town, Yearwood knew she was destined for something bigger.
“I was never a kid who said, ‘I wonder what I want to do when I grow up.’ I knew, but I was in a really small town of 2000 people where nobody did this,” she shared during a recent conversation with hair and makeup artists and hosts of The Touch Up Podcast, Tarryn Feldman and Mari Brown.
Instead of sticking around Georgia to lead the church choir or teach music, she ventured off to Nashville at 19 years old to attend Belmont University. There, she connected with songwriters and landed a job singing on demos.
“I did that really solid for several years. Made a really good living. I had a job as a receptionist at a record label, but I didn’t tell anybody I sang,” she admitted.
Earning her degree in music business technically opened doors to other areas of the industry, but Yearwood says that was never a real option.
“I had never had a backup plan. Because I went to college…I was a music business major, I had a lot of people ask me, ‘oh, would you be in the music industry in the corporate part because you have this degree if you weren’t a singer?’ And I’ve always said no, because I think watching people do what I wanted to do would be much harder,” she explained.
That being said, if she hadn’t become the GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM Award-winning icon she is today, Yearwood believes she would still be spending her days sharing her love for music in some capacity.
“I feel grateful. I know a lot of people who don’t know their whole lives what they really want to do. And I’ve always known. And I think it would be hard to not do it,” she explained. “And I think I would be doing it even if it was on a level of playing five nights a week at a bar. I think I’d be singing. I just do.”
The songstress credits much of her success to the confidence instilled in her by her parents. Their belief in her abilities gave her the courage to pursue not only music but also acting, writing, cooking, entrepreneurship and many other ventures over the years.
“I think sending me off to Nashville to be the music industry was scary for them because it wasn’t a guaranteed job and a guaranteed paycheck and all of the things that they knew. But they always also wanted me to be happy,” she pointed out. “So they always made us both feel my sister and both feel like we could do anything we wanted to do.”
While she enjoys her cooking show, her furniture line, and everything else she’s pursued in her life, she’s clear about the fact that she would still always pick music in the end. It’s this persistence and confidence, combined with her powerhouse voice and passion for the genre, that have captivated millions of fans across multiple decades of a legendary career. Even with her years of experience in the industry, Yearwood shows no signs of slowing down.
The three-time GRAMMY® winner is gearing up to show fans a look into her evolution as an artist on The Mirror (Deluxe). Dropping January 23 via Virgin Music Group and Gwendolyn Records, the expanded digital edition of her acclaimed album The Mirror features four new tracks as well as the fan-favorite bonus song “Put It In A Song.”
Yearwood will honor the new set of releases when she hits the road for The Mirror Tour: An Intimate Acoustic Evening of Stories and Songs. Along the run, she will be joined by singer-songwriters Leslie Satcher and Bridgette Tatum. Kicking off March 4 in Santa Rosa, CA, the tour promises a rare, personal experience for fans, with Yearwood performing the heartfelt new tracks from the project and her timeless hits.

Before becoming a dad, Brett Young always imagined sharing life with a son, passing down his love of sports and bonding like he had with his own father. But everything changed in the best way when his first daughter, Presley, was born. Two daughters later, Brett says it’s clear he was always meant to be a girl dad.
The country star and his wife, Taylor Mills Young, welcomed Presley Elizabeth Young on October 21, 2019, in Nashville and Rowan Marie Young was born nearly two years later, on July 21, 2021. It wasn’t until he held his baby girl in his arms that Young discovered a side of himself that he never knew existed.
“I had such a good relationship with my dad – the father/son thing, the sports thing – I always thought that I wanted boys. And I immediately changed my mind when we had Presley,” he admitted.
The “Drink With You” singer says he and his wife had originally talked about continuing to grow their family until they had both a boy and a girl. However, when they learned their second child would also be a girl, Young admits it was “confirmation” that he was destined to be a girl dad, and now he wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I’m in love with it. I don’t feel the need to have a son anymore. I just love the way my relationship is with both of my daughters.”
While fatherhood hasn’t turned out exactly as he imagined, Young reveals it has brought many positive changes to his life.
“I think I love differently and more deeply than I ever did before, and not just with them, but it opened my capacity to love that way in general with everybody in my life,” he pointed out.
Beyond navigating fatherhood, the DIAMOND-selling artist has also stayed focused on making music that resonates with his fans. He recently closed out 2025 by dropping a cover of Justin Bieber’s “Yukon,” which showcases his signature warmth and the velvety smooth quality of his vocals, bringing an intimate country flair to the story.
Accompanying the stripped-back release is a visualizer featuring Young and his bandmates performing in the studio. Dressed in all black, they set the mood for the song, originally written by Bieber with a slew of co-writers, and captures the pop sensation’s love for wife Hailey, something that Young has done many times in his catalog for his own wife.
Brett Young is now gearing up to bring his heartfelt tunes back to the stage in 2026 with tour dates kicking off next week with a performance at The Ryman in Nashville on January 22. This performance will launch his 2.0 Tour, which shares the name of his latest studio album. The run will continue through Saturday, February 28, where he will wrap in Bensalem, PA.
