Fans are eagerly awaiting Season 30 of NBC’s The Voice, set to premiere September 21, but the network is already looking ahead to what’s next. Arriving in 2027, Season 31 will introduce The Voice: Celebrity, the franchise’s first-ever celebrity edition of the hit competition series.
New to the coaching panel for Season 30 is Riley Green, who will make his debut in the iconic red chair this fall. Today’s news reveals that fans can already expect to see the country star to return to the show next year for the new spin-off season. He is set to join Joe Jonas and Queen Latifah as coaches while Keke Palmer has been tapped to host.

The fresh format for Season 31 is expected to bring a fresh twist to the beloved competition series. Instead of serving as a platform for undiscovered singers, the spin-off will feature a diverse lineup of celebrity contestants, including actors, musicians, influencers, athletes, comedians, and reality television stars, all competing for the chance to claim the winning title.
Viewers will get to watch as the celebrity’s step outside their comfort zones and showcase talents audiences may have never seen before. Viewers can expect “unprecedented access” throughout the season, following the contestants as they prepare, perform and navigate the competition.
This unique season will also introduce new elements to the show, like Voice Boot Camp, which will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at how celebrity Artists prepared for their Blind Auditions. Then the show will step inside the “VIP Room,” where contestants watch their fellow artists perform for the Coaches, and the “Workroom,” where they “strategize, rehearse and ready themselves for the Battles.”
The celebrity lineup competing on The Voice: Celebrity will be revealed at a later date.
Both Queen Latifah and Riley Green will return for their second seasons as Coaches on The Voice after making their coaching debuts in Season 30. Meanwhile, Joe Jonas also brings previous experience with the franchise, having appeared as a Mentor and Advisor in past seasons and previously serving as a Coach on The Voice Australia in 2018.
Fans can tune into the Season 30 premiere of The Voice on September 21 at 8/7c on NBC.

Chase Matthew is bearing his soul like never before in his latest release, “Autopilot.” Penned by Matthew alongside Danny Majic, Joe Reeves, and Joybeth Taylor, the deeply personal track finds the rising country star offering an unfiltered look into his inner struggles as he admits to feeling like he’s moving through life on autopilot, just as the title suggests.
The vulnerability heard in Matthew’s voice effortlessly aligns with the emotional exhaustion woven throughout the song. His honest lyrics depict the numbness and pressure that comes with success and the constant “war of comparison” that invades his mind.

While he tries to put his head down and work, and pray for the answers he desperately seeks, the truth is he is quietly struggling so much that he doesn’t even recognize himself anymore.
“I’m on autopilot I don’t feel my emotions/ Stranger to myself, hopin’ that nobody’ll notice/ And mentally I’m crashin’/ I’m fallin’ when I’m flyin’/ Tell me, when did livin’ start to feel like/ I’ve been dyin’?/ ‘Cause I’m on autopilot/ Yeah, I’m on autopilot,” the Warner Records Nashville artist sings.
Matthew explains that “Autopilot” was written about an incredibly difficult season of life, one that found him wondering if he would ever come out on the other side. He has been honest with fans before through his music, but this song opens up a whole new level of transparency.
“‘Autopilot’ is the most important song I’ve ever released,” says Matthew. “I wrote it about one of the lowest points of my life, when I was just going through the motions and honestly didn’t care what tomorrow looked like.”
He goes on to say that by sharing this deeply personal track with the perspective he has now, he hopes that those facing their own struggles can find comfort in knowing they are not alone.
“Looking back now, I can see God was pursuing me even when I didn’t realize it. My hope is that anyone who’s struggling hears this song and knows there’s hope, because there absolutely was for me,” he adds.
The song arrives during one of the biggest years in Chase Matthew’s career. His current single, “Holdin’ It Down,” recently entered the Top 30 at country radio, while his duet with Lauren Alaina, “All My Exes,” continues its rise at No. 13.
Amid all his success on the airwaves, he has been busy on the road and will continue touring until the end of the year. Fans can catch him serving as direct support for select dates of Jason Aldean’s Songs About Us Tour as well as select dates of Aldean and Luke Bryan’s Double Down Tour.
