Is he okay?

A recent viral video has fans doing a double take at Ryan Seacrest’s gaunt appearance.

Is it Ozempic? A secret cancer battle? The ravages of time?

Take a look at the clip for yourself and decide if he’s unwell, if fans should clam up, or maybe both.

Is he okay?

This January, Vanna White announced her marriage to John Donaldson.

On Wheel of Fortune, she shared the news, even poking fun at numerous false reports (like those that we here at THG have debunked in the past) that are now simply premature reports about her tying the knot.

Naturally, the show uploaded the clip of her announcement to Instagram.

There, footage circulated beyond Wheel of Fortune‘s usual day-to-day audience.

As you can see, Seacrest offered her a congratulatory hug. But his appearance startled many fans.

To be blunt, Seacrest appears gaunt.

His clothing looks almost oversized at certain angles.

Additionally, his neck and cheeks appear extremely thin, almost sunken.

We would argue that he isn’t unrecognizable — he is, particularly from the front, still a very famous face.

But Seacrest’s dramatically different appearance left fans wondering — and speculating — about what had happened.

Shock and theories came pouring in

People took to social media to share their shock and even to speculate as to the cause.

“That’s Ryan Seacrest??? No way. Absolutely no way,” one person tweeted.

Another remarked: “Ryan Seacrest looks like an entirely different human.”

One tweet reads: “Ryan Seacrest looks like a shell of his former self. What in the name of Ozempic is happening?”

An alternative theory in one tweet mentioned how the late Chadwick Boseman “was relentlessly body shamed while he was battling illness privately and everyone who was talking about him felt like crap when he left this Earth.”

We should keep in mind that not everyone believes that Seacrest is either using GLP-1 medications to starve his body of essential nutrients or that he is privately battling cancer.

(Anyone considering doing the former should perhaps stop to consider that something that people might mistake for cancer is probably not the best choice for your health)

In fact, some took to social media to point out that some folks are picturing Seacrest from past projects.

While obviously many of us have never watched American Idol, that is when he became a household name for many.

It was also over 20 years ago. Seacrest is now a 51-year-old man. Obviously he’s not going to look like he once did.

Even if he’s deathly ill, is that really our business?

We should point out that Seacrest’s worrisome new look is not new.

In 2025, fans fretted over his “frail” appearance.

The reason that he’s once again getting attention is that some people simply haven’t seen him in years — and certainly not since he appeared to be withering in this manner.

We of course hope that there’s nothing wrong with his health, be it cancer or medicalized starvation or something else.

But we should emphasize that simply being a public figure doesn’t mean that someone has to explain why they look different. That’s his business, folks.

Unlike some of her ’90s pop contemporaries, Christina Aguilera keeps a pretty low profile these days.

While Britney Spears posts edgy content on social media, and the Backstreet Boys continue to cash in on reunion tours, Christina is content to simply pop in from time to remind the world she’s still a legend.

And this week, her 10 million Instagram followers were overjoyed when she managed to keep it classy and understated while posing topless.

“Northern lights, Parisian nights,” Christina captioned the photos seen here.

As you can see, in lieu of a shirt, the music icon opted to rock a diamond necklace that probably costs more than your car.

Christina was in Paris to perform alongside A$AP Rocky and others at the ala des Pièces Jaunes, a charity event aimed at supporting children and teenagers in French hospitals.

The City of Lights seems to be Aguilera’s preferred stomping grounds these days.

She filmed her recent TV special Christina Aguilera: Christmas in Paris there, and she appeared at at least one Parisian event earlier this month.

But while she might enjoy living the glitzy life from time to time, Christina seems to be more interested in her life at home these days.

She lives with longtime partner Matt Rutler, with whom she has two children, aged 17 and 10.

And there are other reasons why Christina might be putting in fewer appearances these days:

For one thing, she’s massively wealthy, and thus, has no need to be constantly touring the world or pursuing acting projects.

There’s also the fact that Christina deals with anxiety and other mental health issues, a fact that she’s been admirably candid about throughout her career:

“I experienced a lot of trauma in my childhood […] I’ve definitely had struggles in the past with depression and anxiety. It’s a constant battle to overcome a mind that is anxious, a mind that is always second-guessing,” she told Health magazine in 2023.

So yeah, we don’t know exactly why Christina is keeping a slightly lower profile these days.

But we do know that when she does step out, she still absolutely slays.

Let’s be honest:

Sydney Sweeney is mostly known for what she says.

The actress has typically made headlines away from the screen for what she wears and, on occasion, what she does NOT wear.

Earlier this week, however, the 28-year old spoke to Cosmopolitan about the launch of her lingerie line SYRN and made some interesting remarks with her mouth.

During the interview,Sweeney was asked about folks on social media speculating about her political leanings … and often frequently dubbed “MAGA Barbie” on social media.

“I’ve never been here to talk about politics. I’ve always been here to make art, so this is just not a conversation I want to be at the forefront of,” said the Euphoria cast member.

“And I think because of that, people want to take it even further and use me as their own pawn. But it’s somebody else assigning something to me, and I can’t control that.”

Back in July, Sweeney stirred up a rather absurd controversy when she posed for an American Eagle ad that some people believed to be racially insensitive.

Sydney stayed mostly silent amid the annoying discourse.

She has chosen to mostly NOT correct assumptions about her.

“I haven’t figured it out. I’m not a hateful person. If I say, ‘That’s not true,’ they’ll come at me like, ‘You’re just saying that to look better.’ There’s no winning. There’s never any winning,” Sydney told Cosmo, adding:

“I just have to continue being who I am, because I know who I am. I can’t make everyone love me. I know what I stand for.”

Sydney Sweeney is one of the best looking humans on the planet.

That’s really it. We have no real follow-up to that sentence.

“I’m in the arts. I’m not here to speak on politics,” she explained in this new feature.

“That’s not an area I’ve ever even imagined getting into. It’s not why I became who I am. I became an actor because I like to tell stories, but I don’t believe in hate in any form. I believe we should all love each other and have respect and understanding for one another.”

Sweeney made a similar comment back after the American Eagle ad went viral, stating at the time:

“Anyone who knows me knows that I’m always trying to bring people together. I’m against hate and divisiveness.

“In the past my stance has been to never respond to negative or positive press, but recently I have come to realize that my silence regarding this issue has only widened the divide, not closed it. So I hope this new year brings more focus on what connects us instead of what divides us.”
