In the weeks since Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo, the exes have sent some very mixed messages about their split:
First, there was talk that Bunnie and Jelly would still have a child together even though they’d separated. Shortly thereafter, Bunnie compared her marriage to a prison sentence.
And now, we have another sign that this breakup is less than amicable.
Fans noticed on Tuesday that the former couple no longer follow one another on Instagram, marking another public sign that they’ve moved on after ending their nearly decade-long marriage.
The social media change comes just weeks after the pair finalized their divorce following Jelly Roll’s filing, which cited irreconcilable differences.
Although unfollowing an ex isn’t unusual, the move is notable because the two initially presented a united front after news of their split became public.
In the weeks following the divorce filing, both Jelly Roll and Bunnie spoke positively about one another, with the country star referring to his former wife as one of his closest friends. Bunnie likewise said the two intended to remain supportive of each other despite ending their marriage.
Since then, however, their lives have continued to move in separate directions.
Over the weekend, Bunnie shared that she had purchased a custom Rolls-Royce Cullinan, describing it as a gift to herself following the divorce.
She was also seen spending time with her new boyfriend, reality television personality Dylan Wolf, in videos posted to social media.
The Instagram unfollow comes after another social media change earlier this summer, when fans noticed Jelly Roll had removed references to Bunnie from his Instagram bio shortly after the divorce filing became public.
The former couple’s separation has generated significant online discussion in recent weeks, particularly after Jelly Roll’s daughter, Bailee Ann, pushed back against speculation surrounding the breakup.
She insisted that infidelity was not the reason for the divorce, while Bunnie later echoed that there was “nothing to clear up” and urged fans not to create their own narratives about the split.
Neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie XO has publicly commented on the decision to unfollow each other, leaving fans to speculate whether it’s simply another step in moving forward after their divorce or a sign that their relationship has become more distant in the weeks since their marriage officially ended.
Either way, it seems that there’s no going back for this formerly close couple.

California governor Gavin Newsom is currently the unofficial front-runner to be the Democratic nominee for the presidency.
But like most politicians — or most grownups, for that matter — he’s got a few skeletons in his closet.
In a memoir published earlier this year, Newsom admitted to sleeping with a staffer while he was mayor of San Francisco (before he met his current wife).
In the book, Newsom opened up about sleeping with Ruby Rippey, who was then married to his friend (and staffer) Alex Tourk.
Now, Rippey has opened up about her relationship with Newsom in a new interview with Vanity Fair, admitting, among other things, that she wet the bed during their first tryst, and that Kamala Harris encouraged her to keep quiet about the affair.
Rippey says the flirtations with her then-boss began during a night out shortly after she gave birth.
“Hey — you look really good,” she recalls Newsom saying. “You’ve lost all your pregnancy weight.”
She adds that she was in the throes of addictive addiction at the time (Newsom has been open about his own past battles with substance abuse) and that the situation escalated shortly thereafter when both parties were drinking at a co-worker’s wedding.
“We meet and we drink. There is sex, but it isn’t the point. The point is proximity—to power, to being chosen, to feeling newly visible—no longer muted by pregnancy, by new motherhood, by the strain of white-knuckling long stretches of sobriety. It isn’t love. It isn’t romance. It’s intoxication,” she writes.
Rippey eventually checked into rehab, and one of her counselors advised to keep the affair a secret (even from her husband) during her early sobriety.
She claims that then-district attorney Kamala Harris echoed that advice.
“Soon after, Kamala Harris calls. I know her from the [former mayor Willie] Brown administration; she is now the district attorney. I tell her people are urging me to speak publicly. A publisher has offered an advance for a memoir. I am broke and unemployable,” Rippey writes, adding:
“She listens, then says simply: ‘I wouldn’t say anything right now, Ruby. Just pause. More time will give you better perspective.’
“It turns out to be the best advice I receive. I am newly sober and still inside the wreckage—unable to make sense of anything, let alone speak clearly about it. So I stay silent.”
These days, Rippey and Newsom are both happily remarried and no longer pinned down by addiction.
But even though most of the events described in Rippey’s article took place more than 20 years ago, Newsom would probably prefer that that chapter of his life remain in the distant past.

In July of 2025, Bryan Kohberger was sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to the murders of four University of Idaho students.
The move enabled Kohberger to avoid the death penalty, but according to court documents filed on Monday, the 31-year-old former PhD student is now attempting to withdraw his plea.
Kohberger filed a handwritten petition seeking post-conviction relief, claiming he is innocent and alleging he was pressured into accepting a plea deal through “false promises and blatant disinformation.”
He argues his attorneys misled him about the strength of the evidence against him and the consequences of going to trial.
The filing comes one year after Kohberger pleaded guilty to the killings of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, as well as one count of burglary.
He was sentenced to four consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole.
According to legal experts interviewed by CNN, overturning that plea will be an uphill battle.
Under Idaho law, defendants seeking to withdraw a guilty plea after sentencing generally must show that allowing the conviction to stand would result in a “manifest injustice,” a high legal standard that is rarely met.
Claims of innocence or second thoughts alone are typically insufficient.
Experts also note that judges carefully question defendants before accepting guilty pleas, asking whether anyone has threatened or coerced them and confirming they understand the agreement. Kohberger told the court his plea was voluntary, making it more difficult to argue otherwise now.
In his petition, Kohberger also alleges his attorneys withheld information that could have helped his defense, including evidence involving unidentified hair recovered during the investigation. He further claims he was told that whether he was actually guilty was irrelevant so long as he accepted the plea deal.
Those allegations have not been substantiated in court, and prosecutors have not yet publicly responded to the filing.
The latest challenge has reopened painful memories for the victims’ families, many of whom believed the case had reached its conclusion after Kohberger’s sentencing.
For now, Kohberger remains in prison serving four life sentences without parole while the court decides whether his petition raises sufficient legal grounds to move forward. Although post-conviction challenges are common, experts say successfully overturning a guilty plea after sentencing is exceptionally rare.

Congratulations!
Pop singer Madison Beer has been linked to some major names in the entertainment world.
Professional athlete Justin Herbert has been her boyfriend since (at least) last year.
Now, the two have announced that they are engaged!
Congratulations!
On Tuesday, July 28, Herbert and Beer took to their respective Instagram pages to share the news.
The photos show the two together in what is clearly an engagement photoshoot.
Additionally, we see some woodworking that reads “Mr. and Mrs. Herbert.”
The caption on the photoset reads: “meet my fiancé.”
In the past, Beer has dated the likes of Jack Gilinsky and Brooklyn Beckham.
(Beer came out as bi about a decade ago, and has had relationships with women, though if she had any high profile entanglements, they kept things under wraps.
Her last major romance was Nick Austin, an internet personality.
As of October 2025, she and Herbert were in a romance. The public does not yet know when, officially, they began dating.
Good for them!
Herbert is entering his seventh season with the Los Angeles Chargers.
He is a star quarterback from a family that includes other professional athletes.
While he famously has not enjoyed much success in the playoffs, Justin is still young, and his prime playing days might still be ahead of him. Whatever the case, he’s already a winner in the game of love.
It’s clear that he’s one lucky guy!
Beer’s history is perhaps better known, at least in celebrity gossip circles.
She is a singer who rose to fame after Justin Bieber boosted one of her songs when she was only 13.
Being a child star had its burdens, especially when explicit photos of her leaked without her consent when she was still a teenager.
She’s now an adult in her late twenties, and has spent the past decade or so topping charts. (She also worked with Mattel to produce “We Are Monster High,” which is a niche piece of trivia.)
