It’s been four months since Charlie Kirk was shot and killed during a speaking engagement at a Utah college.

During that time, his wife, Erika Kirk, has gone from being a virtual unknown to a household name.

To the surprise of many, the widow has embraced the spotlight in the months since her husband’s death, hosting rallies, granting countless interviews, and conducting what many have described as an endless press tour.

Most recently, Kirk posed with fans and fellow media figures at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl 2026 in Atlanta on Saturday.

The appearance — one of dozens Kirk has made in the past month alone — attracted criticism, even from social media users who initially supported her decision to lead a more public life.

“Another glitzy night out at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl,” wrote one user on X (formerly Twitter).

“Erika Kirk front and center, all smiles, celebrating. But… real talk: it’s been just 4 months since Charlie’s tragic death, and those little ones (toddler and preschool age) just lost their dad in the most horrific way.
Where are the kids in these constant outings?” the tweet continued (per the International Business Times).

“Bowl games, events, travel. Seems like they’re rarely (if ever) around. Are they okay? Who’s watching them while mom’s out cheering and networking?

Kirk’s children are just 1 and 3 years old, and many echoed the concern that Erika is off living a “lavish lifestyle” with her newfound fame, rather than being present for her kids.

Hundreds of commenters agreed with the initial tweet, with many accusing Erika of exploiting her husband’s death and neglecting her young children.

“This is so not normal behavior for someone that just lost her husband and the father of her children,” one commenter wrote.

“I haven’t seen Erika with her kids since Charlie died,” another added.

“It does seem like she’s abandoned them in the most traumatic & terrible time of their lives,” a third chimed in.

Kirk has maintained a near-constant schedule of travel and media events in the months since her husband’s passing, but she has yet to remark on concerns about how her children might be coping with the sudden absence of both parents.

The press tour will likely continue for at least several more weeks, as Erika is currently promoting Charlie’s book Stop, In The Name of God: Why Honoring The Sabbath Will Transform Your Life, which was released posthumously last month.

After revealing that her mother had been in the hospital, TikToker Alix disclosed her mother’s diagnosis.

It’s cancer.

The diagnosis came during Alix’s Dancing With The Stars season. Even so, her mother showed up every week to support her.

Alisa has breast cancer

On Sunday, January 11, Alix took to her Instagram page to reveal her mother’s diagnosis.

The TikTok influencer and recent Dancing With The Stars competitor revealed that her mother, Alisa, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

In the video that Alix shared, she and her sister, Ashtin, are in the hospital, visiting their mother.

They’re clearly providing her with moral support. They’re sharing ice cream, doing her hair, and simply holding her hand.

The words “F!ck Cancer” appear across the video clip.

Alix’s video also includes a voiceover.

“Strong women never give up,” the voice says.

The voiceover continues: “We might need a coffee, we might need a good cry, we might need a day in bed but we will always come back stronger.”

Additionally, she penned a caption.

“Go momma! So proud and inspired by you,” Alix expressed. “No challenge you can’t face and come back stronger .. I love you! #breastcancerawareness.”

Timing can be so cruel

Though she did not win, Alix was a fixture on Season 34 of Dancing With The Stars last year. In fact, she was the runner-up!

As it turns out, Alisa received her cancer diagnosis while her famous daughter was filming.

Alix detailed that she found out mid-season — but that it did not prevent her mother from showering her with in-person support.

“We found out [about] halfway through the season and she still showed up every week,” Alix wrote.

Many doctors might advise someone with cancer to do just that. Unlike some ailments (like heart disease), some cancers respond very well to attitude and optimism. (We know that it sounds fake, but the scientific studies on it are very real)

We did know that Alisa had been in the hospital.

Alix shared as much on January 7, sharing that her mom had undergone an unspecified operation.

“Back home in Jersey, my mom is in the hospital for her operation right now, so I’m going to go see her,” she shared at the time after flying to four different countries in two days.

“I may or may not talk more about this this week,” she cautioned at the time.

Alix continued: “I just want to see how everything goes and, first of all, just be there for her.”

‘We are gonna be taking care of her’

“It’s also something that, during my travels, I had a few cries,” Alix admitted at the time.

“But her boyfriend and my sister have been with her this morning,” she shared.

“So, we’re gonna pick her up tomorrow morning from the hospital,” Alix revealed, “because we are gonna be taking care of her.”

Now, she has shared her mother’s diagnosis, ending the speculation.

Are the Biebers in a toxic marriage?

A recent TikTok claimed that Hailey and Justin are one of multiple celebrity couples who remain in an “abusive” relationship.

We’ve all seen Justin’s behavioral issues for ourselves, even without the numerous reports.

What does Hailey have to say? Did she really share a video that called out her own marriage?

‘A relationship is only as good as a woman puts up with’

To start at the beginning, there is a TikTok video circulating that claims to examine “abusive” celebrity relationships.

(Abuse can take many forms, and does not always mean physical violence; even so, this is a serious topic and outside accusations about adults who can speak for themselves are only sometimes appropriate)

“A relationship is only as good as a woman puts up with,” reads a reply that apparently prompted the video.

As you can see for yourself, the video highlights multiple celebrity relationships.

The claim is that the woman in each couple “tolerates mediocrity, abuse, doing the majority of domestic and emotional labor in exchange for being in a relationship.”

As the TikTok video continues, the speaker says: “There is no better example than Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber.”

The TikToker bluntly claimed that Justin and Hailey have only remained together for the past almost-8 years because Hailey “will tolerate that abuse.”

Notably, the video also alludes to Justin’s struggles with addiction.

Many believe that these issues are ongoing and remain a factor in the Bieber marriage.

Even more notably is that, on Saturday, January 10, reports began to claim that Hailey herself had shared the video.

‘I didn’t repost any video speaking on my relationship’

Within hours of these reports arising, Hailey took to her Instagram Story to shut that down.

“Hey! I know you guys who live on the internet are really bored,” she began.

(This is a way of conveying that she believes that people are making things up because they don’t have anything better in their lives)

“But,” Hailey clarified, “I didn’t repost any video speaking on my relationship.”

After making that declaration and side-stepping any mention of the video’s content, she concluded: “Have a beautiful Saturday!”

Now, many many relationships match the initial description from the TikTok video.

Societal expectations absolutely push many people, especially women, to tolerate an unworthy partner so long as they get to avoid being single.

But does that description apply to the Biebers?

We would never declare that a relationship is “definitely” healthy. If it’s not true, you make the situation worse.

But, though there is evidence that Justin has faced some struggles and could perhaps be a better partner, declaring their relationship to be “abusive” seems excessive without proof.

Right now, it’s really not for an outsider to say how they’re doing

Justin and Hailey married in 2018. This was mere months after they began dating again (which was, in turn, mere weeks after Justin and Selena’s rekindled romance fizzled out for good).

That alone clearly did a number on Hailey, many believe.

However, it’s been almost 8 years since they got back together. They’re now parents to 16-month-old Jack Blues.

And, not for nothing, but Hailey is a billionaire now, or near enough to it.

None of that means that their marriage is perfect or even healthy. But we’re not going to diagnose a celebrity relationship as “abusive” without a very good reason.

Also … TikTok can be great for socially explaining a topic to people, but it’s not a reliable source of information. Please do not make it your primary news source.

As previously documented, Robyn Brown will be staying with husband Kody forever and ever it now seems.

Conversely, however?

It’s more evident than ever that the reality star is done with Kody’s trio of former sister wives.

On the first Sister Wives: 1-on-1 reunion special, which aired this past Sunday evening on TLC, the mother of six denied that there was any truth to the accusations that she was in any way “submissive.” to her spousel

“No. … I think I work with my husband,” Robyn told host Sukanya Krishnan.

When asked whether she thought Meri Brown and Janelle Brown were playing “girl games” when they poked fun at her during a kinda recent Zoom call this season, Robyn responded, “I don’t care.”

But the then had a lot more to say about these women.

“I think they’re just trying to figure out why Kody loves me,” Robyn said as a possible reason for Kody’s exes taking shots at her on the program.

Continued Robyn on air when it came to the ladies with whom she used to share Kody:

“They’re doing whatever they can to just downplay me, to put me down in any way, shape or form that they can because they’re struggling with their own feelings. I guess. I don’t really know why.”

Brpwn previously said she doesn’t “endorse fakeness” following an awkward meeting with Janelle and Meri over their Coyote Pass property.

Kody, for his part, claimed that his spouse “hates girl games,” which raised eyebrows with fans and Kody’s exes.

“It’s the psychological warfare. The stuff that teenage girls do a lot in high school,” Robyn explained during the reunion. “It’s the backstabbing. It’s the whispering behind the back. It’s the pretending like you’re friends when you’re not.”

Robyn has sounded open to reconciling with Christine, Meri and Janelle at times in the past.

But no one in this group sounds anxious for the quartet to really get together again any time soon.

Kody, meanwhile, will always stand by his alleged soulmate’s side.

“Robyn’s not submissive. She has a spine of concrete and steel,” he said on Sunday’s episode after rewatching Janelle’s remarks on the show. “It’s funny that Janelle would say that Robyn’s submissive when Janelle also accused Robyn of sort of brainwashing me or controlling me.”

Kody also quipped:

“It’s like, what is it, Janelle? Am I Robyn’s puppet or is she mine?”

It’s been nearly one month since Rob and Michelle Reiner were found murdered in their Brentwood home.

The couple’s son, Nick Reiner, has been arrested for their murder and is currently being held without bail.

Nick appeared in court last week, but he still has not entered a plea.

Little is known about his possible motives, but more information came to light over the weekend, thanks to a new documentary about the case.

The TMZ-produced project, The Reiner Murders: What Really Happened, offers new details about Nick’s lifelong battle with mental illness and how it may have led to his parents’ murders.

We already knew that Nick had been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder.

And we had already heard the claims that his condition deteriorated about a month before the murders, seemingly because his doctors made adjustments to his medications.

Now, new claims are being made about why his doctors made those changes.

Insiders tell TMZ that Nick’s previous meds had resulted in significant weight gain, and his doctors chaged his prescription in the hope of curtailing that common side effect.

“It wasn’t just about putting on a few pounds,”  one source told the outlet. 

“It was a total physical surrender. He stopped taking care of himself. The weight was just the most visible warning sign that he had given up.”

Nick’s struggles were nothing new, and his entire family had been working for several years to support him.

Rob even collaborated with Nick on a film — 2015’s Being Charlie — based on his battle with substance abuse.

Sadly, Nick’s career as a screenwriter never took off, and his problems only worsened. Insiders claim that in late 2025, the
