Amy Schumer has always been honest about the ups and downs of her weight loss journey.
And after opening up about some recent health setbacks, she’s now sharing a major win.
Amy shared a swimsuit photo of herself on Thursday, and fans were stunned by her slimmer physique.

The comic — who’s generated quite a bit of controversy in recent months (more on that later) — instantly received flame emoji comments from celebrity friends like Amy Sedaris, Isla Fisher, and Kathy Hilton.
“Haters will say it’s photoshopped,” one follower commented.
“Looking fantastic dear,” another chimed in.
Amy limited comments on the posts, which was probably a smart move.
She’s been a somewhat divisive figure throughout her career, and she’s more controversial than ever these days due to allegations that she supports Israel’s war against Gaza.
(Schumer has clarified that she was speaking out against anti-semitism and doesn’t “support anything Netanyahu is doing,” but once folks on the internet make up their minds about something, it’s tough to dissuade them.)
Sadly, Amy is no stranger to online criticism after enduring years of brutal body-shaming.
Amy hated Ozempic, found success with Monjauro
In March, Amy revealed in an Instagram video that she had started Monjauro, noting that it’s only covered by insurance if the patient has diabetes or “extreme obesity.”
“Which most of the internet thinks I have,” Amy joked. “But I’m having a really good experience with it, and I wanted to keep it real with you about that.”
The revelation came after she revealed that she got violently ill while taking Ozempic.
“I have this gene, GDF15, which makes you extremely prone to nausea, which is why I was so sick during my pregnancy,” Schumer, explained on The Howard Stern Show.
“So, I tried Ozempic almost three years ago and I was, like, veteran. I was, like, vomiting — and then you have no energy. But other people take it and they’re all good. God bless them,” she continued.
Amy noted that she “lost 30 pounds so quick” and “looked great,” but she couldn’t “lift [her] head off the pillow.”
Thankfully, it looks like Amy’s Monjauro experience has gone much more smoothly.
Now she looks great and she can lift her head off the pillow!

Legal battles over President Donald Trump’s executive order to end birthright citizenship continued on July 10, 2025, after a New Hampshire federal district judge issued a preliminary injunction that will, if it’s not reversed, prevent federal officials from enforcing the order nationally.
The ruling by U.S. District Judge Joseph Laplante, a George W. Bush appointee, asserts that this policy of “highly questionable constitutionality … constitutes irreparable harm.”
In its ruling in late June, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to deny citizenship to infants born to undocumented parents in many parts of the nation where individuals or states had not successfully sued to prevent implementation – including a number of mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Southern states.
Trump’s executive order limits U.S. citizenship by birth to those who have at least one parent who is a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. It denies citizenship to those born to undocumented people within the U.S. and to the children of those on student, work, tourist and certain other types of visas.
The preliminary injunction is on hold for seven days to allow the Trump administration to appeal.
The June 27 Supreme Court decision on birthright citizenship limited the ability of lower-court judges to issue universal injunctions to block such executive orders nationwide.
Laplante was able to avoid that limit on issuing a nationwide injunction by certifying the case as a class action lawsuit encompassing all children affected by the birthright order, following a pathway suggested by the Supreme Court’s ruling.
Pathways beyond universal injunctions
In its recent birthright citizenship ruling, Trump v. CASA, the Supreme Court noted that plaintiffs could still seek broad relief by filing such class action lawsuits that would join together large groups of individuals facing the same injury from the law they were challenging.
And that’s what happened.
Litigants filed suit in New Hampshire’s district court the same day that the Supreme Court decided CASA. They asked the court to certify a class consisting of infants born on or after Feb. 20, 2025, who would be covered by the order and their parents or prospective parents. The court allowed the suit to proceed as a class action for these infants.

What if this injunction doesn’t stick?
If the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit or the Supreme Court invalidates the New Hampshire court’s newest national injunction and another injunction is not issued in a different venue, the order will then go into effect anywhere it is not currently barred from doing so. Implementation could begin in as many as 28 states where state attorneys general have not challenged the Trump birthright citizenship policy if no other individuals or groups secure relief.
As political science scholars who study race and immigration policy, we believe that, if implemented piecemeal, Trump’s birthright citizenship order would create administrative chaos for states determining the citizenship status of infants born in the United States. And it could lead to the first instances since the 1860s of infants being born in the U.S. being denied citizenship categorically.
States’ role in establishing citizenship
Almost all U.S.-born children are issued birth certificates by the state in which they are born.
The federal government’s standardized form, the U.S. standard certificate of live birth, collects data on parents’ birthplaces and their Social Security numbers, if available, and provides the information states need to issue birth certificates.
But it does not ask questions about their citizenship or immigration status. And no national standard exists for the format for state birth certificates, which traditionally have been the simplest way for people born in the U.S. to establish citizenship.
If Trump’s executive order goes into effect, birth certificates issued by local hospitals would be insufficient evidence of eligibility for federal government documents acknowledging citizenship. The order would require new efforts, including identification of parents’ citizenship status, before authorizing the issuance of any federal document acknowledging citizenship.
Since states control the process of issuing birth certificates, they will respond differently to implementation efforts. Several states filed a lawsuit on Jan. 21 to block the birthright citizenship order. And they will likely pursue an arsenal of strategies to resist, delay and complicate implementation.
While the Supreme Court has not yet confirmed that these states have standing to challenge the order, successful litigation could bar implementation in up to 18 states and the District of Columbia if injunctions are narrowly framed, or nationally if lawyers can persuade judges that disentangling the effects on a state-by-state basis will be too difficult.
Other states will likely collaborate with the administration to deny citizenship to some infants. Some, like Texas, had earlier attempted to make it particularly hard for undocumented parents to obtain birth certificates for their children.

Potential for chaos
If the Supreme Court rejects attempts to block the executive order nationally again, implementation will be complicated.
That’s because it would operate in some places and toward some individuals while being legally blocked in other places and toward others, as Justice Sonia Sotomayor warned in her Trump v. CASA dissent.
Children born to plaintiffs anywhere in the nation who have successfully sued would have access to citizenship, while other children possibly born in the same hospitals – but not among the groups named in the suits – would not.
Babies born in the days before implementation would have substantially different rights than those born the day after. Parents’ ethnicity and countries of origin would likely influence which infants are ultimately granted or denied citizenship.
That’s because some infants and parents would be more likely to generate scrutiny from hospital employees and officials than others, including Hispanics, women giving birth near the border, and women giving birth in states such as Florida where officials are likely to collaborate enthusiastically with enforcement.
The consequences could be profound.
Some infants would become stateless, having no right to citizenship in another nation. Many people born in the U.S. would be denied government benefits, Social Security numbers and the ability to work legally in the U.S.
With the constitutionality of the executive order still unresolved, it’s unclear when, if ever, some infants born in the U.S. will be the first in the modern era to be denied citizenship.

Bella clearly has similar feelings, and jumped in to explain her beef with him — one that goes back years.

Before we delve into what Bella Thorne said about Charlie Puth, we have to start with Jade.
On June 25, Jade Thirlwall was promoting her new single, “Plastic Box,” on KISS FM UK.
During the Say It Or Shot It segment, the interviewer asked which artist Jade would never pick for a collaboration.
“I feel like the fans already know someone I wouldn’t collaborate with: Charlie Puth,” Jade Thirlwall said bluntly.
“Just don’t,” she continued, declining to explain.
Jade then hinted that she might elaborate one day, adding:
“Nothing to say, just yet, on that one.”
What did Bella Thorne say about Charlie Puth?
Following that very-early-summer comment about Charlie Puth by Jade Thirlwall, coverage of the interview was widespread enough that Bella Thorne caught wind of it.
Replying to an Instagram headline on the topic, she decided to weigh in.
Unlike Jade, Bella was in the mood to get specific about her beef with Charlie.
“Yeah I mean .. he lied to the entire world about me and started a hate train,” Bella wrote in an Instagram comment.
She alleged that this was retaliation for not sleeping with him.
“All because I wouldn’t …. Do the deed with him,” Bella explained with uncharacteristic self-censorship.
When did this ‘hate train’ happen?
Back in 2016, there were unfounded rumors that Bella Thorne cheated with Charlie Puth while dating Tyler Posey.
Charlie publicly implied that Bella had stepped out on Tyler.
Bella disputed the claim back then, but arguably her reputation took a hit.
(Also, she and Tyler were broken up at the time, but that’s neither here nor there)
As for Jade’s beef with Charlie … according to the general consensus of the internet, Charlie has a long history of hitting on women who are in relationships.
Allegedly, he did that to Jade back in the day when he had his collab with Little Mix, titled “Oops.”
After she (reportedly) turned him down because she was in a relationship, Charlie acted as if he’d never heard of Little Mix.
To be clear, Jade has not confirmed that this is her issue with Charlie. That’s what her fans are saying, however.

Awful news this week out of the world of social media:
Aldo Miranda, a popular presence on TikTok who amassed over 10.2 million followers on that platform, was found dead at his home in La Paz, Baja California Sur, on Tuesday, July 8.
He was 32 years old.
We are still gathering information about what happened.
According to reports from the local Center for Control, Communication, Command, and Computing, however, Miranda’s corpse was found hanging from a cable in a second-story room at his house.
The investigation into his death is still ongoing. But the suspected cause of death is suicide, this outlet reports.
Miranda had established a VERY significant community online by posting humorous videos across both TikTok and Instagram; he had 486,000 on the latter service.
In addition to his social media success, he was also a teacher at the Ministry of Public Education, per People en Español.
Miranda’s management team, the Albe Group (co-founded by Mario Aguilar and Jesica Gerbautz), uploaded an emotional tribute shortly after this news broke. It reads as follows:
“Having a hard time writing this today… Aldo Miranda was one of those people that life gave me thanks to social networks, but over time it became a true friendship, one of those that feel genuine, close and valuable
“Sometimes the internal battles are silent and we fail to see everything someone carries inside. Aldo decided to leave early, and though that hurts deeply, I want to remember him with the love, light, and joy he left in us. We are going to miss you like you have no idea.”
Separately, Aguilar and Gerbautz wrote of the influencer:
Aldo Miranda was one of those people that life gave me thanks to social networks, but over time it became a true friendship, one of those that feel genuine, close and valuable. Meeting him was amazing. He had a talent that caught, moved, and inspired.

Back in May, Britney Spears was confronted by airport authorities after allegedly getting drunk, smoking cigarettes, and generally behaving erratically on a flight.
Now, we have video of the incident.
And while some people might think it incriminates Brit, others will argue that it vindicates her.
Britney ‘didn’t take her meds,’ officer claims
In the clip, which was obtained by TMZ, an officer arrives on the scene shortly after the plane’s arrival.
A customs officer can be heard telling the cop that while Britney appears to be having a tough time, there’s no immediate for the law to get involved.
“We get her all the time, today she obviously didn’t take her meds. She’s being very compliant; she’s very nice, so to me right now, it’s all good,” he says.
Now, the authorities probably have no idea if Britney took her meds or not.
It’s probably just an insensitive joke about her past mental health struggles.
But some folks are focusing on that comment and taking it as evidence that Britney was a bit loopy on the flight.
Others are pointing out that the officer described Britney as “nice” and “compliant.”
Whichever side you’re on, it’s clear that Britney created a mild disturbance on the plane, but all was well by the time she was back on the ground.
(And it’s worth noting that Britney says she was told that smoking was permitted on the flight, which is why she lit a cig.)
According to TMZ, Brit got “a stern talking to” from the officer, but it seems there were no hard feelings.
In fact, the pop icon even waved to the customs agent as she walked past him on the tarmac.
Some rare, positive(-ish) Britney coverage
The video marks a welcome change of pace from the sort of coverage we’ve seen of Britney in recent months.
Most of the recent headlines have to do with Spears “spiraling out of control” or worrying fans with her latest Instagram video.
Now, to be fair, some of those Instagram videos are pretty bizarre, and it’s natural to feel a bit concerned when Britney dances with knives.
But there’s a difference between eccentricity and mental illness of the variety that requires a grown woman to be placed under a conservatorship.
And the fact that Britney was able to smile and make nice with the authorities in that airport video seems like proof that she belongs in the former category.

When Kate Middleton announced that she was in remission from cancer, many fans assumed that she would promptly resume her busy work schedule.
But Kate has wisely decided to ease her way back into public life.
Doctors have reportedly told her that it’s imperative to rest when she feels overwhelmed (good advice for anyone, really), and Kate seems to have taken that guidance to heart.
Of course, every time Kate takes a break, she’s forced to contend with rumors and speculation about the state of her health.
It happened last month, when Kate canceled a planned appearance at the Royal Ascot horse races.
And it’s happening today following Kate’s absence at the annual Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup, in which Prince William competes each year.
Supporters express concern for Kate following two conspicuous absences
While Kate’s absence has sparked concern, it’s important to note that she has made several public appearances in the weeks between last month’s Ascot and Friday’s polo match.
According to Page Six, William appeared to be in good spirits during today’s event, which was held at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor, UK.
Still, fears about Kate’s well-being persist on social media.
And we suppose that’s not surprising, given how internationally beloved she is, and the fact that Kensington Palace has been secretive about her condition since the beginning of her treatment.
Kate breaks her silence
Kate might have been discouraged from offering too much in the way of detail (the royals have a long history of maintaining their privacy with regard to health matters).
Still, she’s spoken publicly about her health battles on numerous occasions, most recently while visiting Colchester Hospital last week.
“You’re not necessarily under the clinical team any longer, but you’re not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to,” Kate said, adding:
“And actually, [having] someone to help talk you through that, show you and guide you through that sort of phase that comes after treatment, I think is really valuable.”
Functioning “normally” looks different for everybody. Kate’s idea of a normal week likely involves a lot of work and numerous public appearances.
But she’s made the decision to prioritize her health, and we applaud her for that.
With any luck, Kate will be able to return to Wimbledon for this weekend’s finals. But if that’s not possible, we’re sure her supporters will understand.
