South Park took direct aim at Donald Trump in its Season 27 premiere on Comedy Central, and now the long-running animated series is making a major streaming move that’s turning heads.
The satirical juggernaut, created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, will be pulled from HBO Max on Monday (August 4), shifting exclusively to Paramount+ as part of a $1.5 billion deal signed in July. That agreement gives Paramount+ full streaming rights to all 26 previous seasons, its feature-length specials and at least 50 new episodes over five upcoming seasons.
The Season 27 opener, “Sermon on the ‘Mount,” marked the show’s return after nearly two years and wasted no time jumping into controversy. The episode featured a nude deepfake version of Trump wandering a desert and lying in bed with Satan. It also included a faux public service announcement mocking the former president, who hasn’t appeared in the series since 1997.
The White House wasn’t amused. Assistant press secretary Taylor Rogers slammed the episode, saying South Park “hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.”
At San Diego Comic-Con the following day, Parker and Stone offered a dry apology. When asked if they expected the backlash, Parker said, “We’re terribly sorry,” prompting laughter from the crowd,
The episode also caught the attention of The Late Show host Stephen Colbert, who praised the creators for their boldness. “And I completely agree with this one,” Colbert said during his monologue. “Because if the government interfered with private AI, innovators at South Park wouldn’t be able to make important videos like this one. That is a message of hope.”
Colbert’s show was recently canceled by CBS, which, like Comedy Central, is owned by Paramount.
Since its 1997 debut, South Park has become one of the most influential animated shows in television history. Known for its crude humor and fearless satire, the series has earned multiple Emmy Awards and maintained a loyal audience for more than two decades. Its ability to stay culturally relevant—despite criticism—has helped it remain a staple in the streaming era.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump remains one of the most polarizing figures in American politics. His critics have long accused him of promoting misinformation, stoking division and undermining democratic institutions. The deepfake portrayal in South Park only added fuel to the fire among those who view him as a dangerous influence.e

Soulja Boy was arrested early Sunday (August 3) in Los Angeles after police allegedly discovered a firearm during a traffic stop in the Melrose area, according to NBC Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed officers pulled over a vehicle around 2:30 a.m. local time and noticed a gun inside. The 33-year-old rapper, born DeAndre Cortez Way, was a passenger in the car and was taken into custody on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Authorities did not disclose the reason for the initial stop.
Social media posts suggest the rapper had been celebrating his birthday at West Hollywood hotspot Poppy just hours before the arrest. His birthday was July 28.
The “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” artist, who rose to fame in 2007 with his viral dance anthem, has had multiple brushes with the law over the years. In April, a Los Angeles jury found him liable for sexual battery and assault, ordering him to pay $4 million to a woman who accused him of abusing her over a two-year period.
In 2023, Soulja Boy was also named in a Securities and Exchange Commission case involving the illegal promotion of crypto assets. He and singer Austin Mahone were the only two celebrities among those charged who declined to settle with the SEC by paying $400,000 in penalties, interest and disgorgement.
This isn’t his first run-in with weapons-related charges. In 2014, he was arrested in Los Angeles for carrying a loaded firearm, though the case was later dismissed. In 2019, he was sentenced to 240 days in jail for violating probation after police found ammunition at his home.
As of Sunday, no further details about his latest arrest have been released by LAPD.

Donald Trump didn’t hold back when Charlamagne Tha God showed up on Lara Trump‘s Fox News show and trashed his presidency—he jumped on Truth Social and went scorched earth.
The ex-president fired off a 2:30 A.M. post on Sunday (August 3), calling Charlamagne a “racist sleazebag,” a “Low IQ individual,” and a “dope.”
Trump went off, writing, “Why is he allowed to use the word ‘GOD’ when describing himself? Can anyone imagine the uproar there would be if I used that nickname?”
And he didn’t stop there. Trump blasted, “This dope, Charlamagne, would vote for Sleepy Joe or Kamala?” Then added, “He has no idea what words are coming out of his mouth, and knows nothing about me or what I have done.”
So what set Trump off?
Charlamagne showed up on Lara’s show the night before and ripped Trump’s time in office. He said, “the least of us are still being impacted the worst” and “people are hurting.”
But there was more.
Charlamagne also said that Trump’s refusal to drop the Epstein files might push old-school conservatives to take back the GOP. He called it a possible “political coup” against MAGA leadership.
And when asked who he’d vote for, Charlamagne leaned toward Kamala Harris over Trump. That combo of criticism—bashing his record, questioning his base’s loyalty, and suggesting he’d pick Kamala—clearly hit a nerve and was enough to trigger Trump’s late-night post.
Trump watches a ton of TV—according to reports, sometimes as much as eight hours a day—and he probably caught every second of that interview.
And like clockwork, he jumped online to fire shots before the sun came up.

Jerry Jones Ignites Micah Parsons Trade Drama by Name-Dropping Jay-Z and Dez Bryant
WTHELLY? Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys are back in the NFL spotlight for all the wrong reasons. This year’s training camp circus features a tense contract standoff with star linebacker Micah Parsons. You may have seen, he’s already trying to go to rival Eagles. He has submitted a formal trade request, but there is a wild twist that includes JAY-Z. The chatter includes Roc Nation Sports and former Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant. Sheeeeeeesh!
Jerry Jones is beyond old-school. Dude was photographed in 1957 among a crowd of white students trying to keep black students from integrating at an Arkansas high school. He’s that kind of old school. Apparently, he has a certain “hands-on negotiating style,” and Parsons is not with it. He wants agent David Mulugheta to rep him and does not want to talk directly to Jerry. The Cowboys owner has attempted to bypass Mulugheta entirely. He wants to force Parsons into direct talks. Sounds very much like a slave owner.
But, Jerry Jones is not a slave owner. But he gives those vibes and Black people were not slaves – they were enslaved. Instead of being accountable, he opted to shift blame, naming a 2015 situation involving Jay-Z and Dez Bryant.
“Because when we have a problem with the player, the agent is nowhere to be found,” Jones told reporters. “JAY-Z said that Dez would make all meetings. JAY-Z and I negotiated the contract, spent hours. He said, ‘Anybody in my organization is on time.’ He said, ‘My office used to be on the street corner, and I’ve always been early. So, they will be on time.’ And what did I say? I said, ‘I’m going to call you [when I have a problem].’ He quit taking my call.”
HUH?!
A Dallas legend, Dez Bryant, fired back like a Jalen Hurts spiral! He basically said he can open the book of life on Jerry if he wants to keep mentioning his name. He’s got plenty of untold stories and he’s kept quiet. “Hey, Dez…”

Roc Nation Sports followed up and skewered Jerry in the process. I get the impression that they do not like him.

“In 2015, at the 21 Club, on a napkin, Jerry Jones, Juan Perez, Shawn ‘JAY-Z’ Carter and Stephen Jones negotiated a five-year, $70 million deal, which included a $45 million guarantee and a $20 million signing bonus for Dez Bryant,” Roc Nation stated. “The claim that Mr. Carter or Roc Nation representatives did not return a call from Jerry Jones is not only a false statement, but it’s also a comical one.”
Now, the Cowboys have ruffled the feathers of three beasts: Parsons, JAY-Z and the ever-boisterous Dez Bryant. All this offseason drama as we walk into the new season. Per usual: Jerry is the center of it all. Dallas and peace are as common as a Super Bowl parade.

Gina Huynh, the ex-girlfriend of Diddy, told a federal judge that the embattled Hip-Hop mogul is no longer the man he once was and pleaded for his release on a $50 million bond secured by his Miami estate.
In a letter submitted to the U.S. District Court, Huynh—identified in court documents as “Victim 3″—described Diddy as a devoted father and businessman, writing, “From that experience I have seen him primarily as a father, a family man and a businessman, roles that he has always striven to uphold.”
Diddy is currently awaiting sentencing in a high-profile case involving federal charges under the Mann Act.
His legal team is pushing for bail ahead of his October 3 court date, offering a substantial bond and proposing house arrest and travel restrictions. Prosecutors, however, remain firmly opposed, citing the severity of the charges and the risk of flight.
Huynh acknowledged the gravity of the allegations but urged the court to weigh Diddy’s family responsibilities.
“Our relationship, like many, was not always perfect, we experienced ups and downs, and mistakes were made,” she wrote. “But he was willing to acknowledge his mistakes and make better decisions in the future.”
She claimed that by the end of their relationship, Diddy had shifted his demeanor.
“By the time our relationship ended, he embodied an energy of love, patience and gentleness that was markedly different from his past behavior.”
Huynh, who has previously accused Diddy of violent abuse—including a miscarriage she says resulted from one of his attacks—told the court she no longer views him as dangerous.
“I do not view Mr. Combs as a danger to me or to the community. This is his first criminal case. Throughout the investigation and proceedings he has been cooperative, respectful and compliant.”
She added that his release could help support his children and aid in the healing process.
“Allowing him to be at home will also support the healing process for all involved,” she said. “I respectfully ask that you consider these factors when deciding his eligibility for release.”
The judge has not yet ruled on Diddy’s renewed bail request. A decision is expected before his scheduled sentencing on October 3.

Jay-Z riding solo on a bike through the Hamptons had the internet doing double takes and cracking jokes after a fan caught the whole thing on camera.
The clip shows Jay-Z pedaling down a quiet street with zero security in sight, which had folks online stunned that the richest guy in the history of Hip-Hop was out here movin’ like a regular dude.
No entourage, no black SUVs—just Hov, a bike and some sunshine as he pedaled through the leafy street, which had no sidewalks.
“Jay-Z riding bike without security”
Y’all see how fast that damn car pulled up behind him? lol no security my ass

The video went viral after someone posted it online and social media ran wild with reactions. Some people were amused, others confused and a few were convinced there had to be security lurking nearby.
One person chimed in saying, “Welp of course they human beings they got life too Jay-Z can enjoy a bike ride in New York ain’t nothing wrong with that to be honest if people don’t harass him or tryna get pics w him.”
Another user added, “Trust me security is around somewhere.”
This whole thing went viral mostly because it’s rare to see someone like Jay-Z, who is worth over $2.5 billion, out and about without any obvious protection.
Typically, A-listers like him are flanked by bodyguards or rolling deep with a team. But here, he looked like any other guy enjoying a chill ride in the Hamptons, where he has a massive mansion.
He and Beyoncé have owned a gigantic spot in East Hampton since 2017. The place is called the “Pond House” and it’s no joke—12,000 square feet, seven beds, seven and a half baths and it sits on two acres right next to a 17-acre nature preserve.
Even billionaires need a little peace and quiet now and then and it looks like Jay found his moment to clear his head and get some cardio in.
imagine randomly seeing jay-z riding a bike Lmfao
