If there’s one thing Luke Bryan knows how to do, it’s to get a laugh out of his crowd. During a stop in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 1 the country superstar impressed concert-goers when he managed to keep singing as he took advantage of the slick stage and showed off some of his dance moves.
Several fans in attendance at the Riverbend Music Center took the liberty of capturing some of his best and most hilarious on-stage moments and shared them across TikTok. One user got an up-close view from the pit and put together a compilation video that has since racked up nearly 800k views.
He started off by demonstrating how slippery the stage was by dramatically gliding his boots from one end to the other, all while never missing a beat to his fan-favorite track, “One Margarita.”
At one point, he stood before the crowd, pointed to the slick spots and asked, “Did somebody squirt some KY Jelly on my stage?”

Instead of nervously avoiding the stage that could have led to him easily falling in front of the crowd, Bryan used it to his advantage.
He proceeded to Swivel, shuffle, moon walk and twist his hips while delivering widely-known party anthems like “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars, his own “Country Girl (Shake It For Me), “I Got You (I Feel Good)” by James Brown, and more.
In a follow-up TikTok, the same user shared even more clips that captured Bryan’s memorable antics throughout the show in response to a comment that read, “Nobody has a better time at a Luke Bryan concert than Luke.”

Nothing was stopping the “Love You, Miss You, Mean It” singer’s hips in his blue jeans or his quick steps in cowboy boots, and with fans audibly laughing in the background, it was clear that he was pulling all the best stops and it was paying off. These videos further prove that a Luke Bryan performance is like no other.
These epic moments took place during Luke Bryan’s A Country Song Came On tour. The trek launched in May and has a few remaining dates left through the end of August. This weekend he will perform back-to-back nights from August 7-9 across Columbia, MD on Thursday night, Boston, MA on Friday and Hartford, CT on Saturday.
Bryan is joined by a slew of rising stars as special guests including George Birge, Avery Anna, Ashland Craft, Mae Estes, Randall King, Vincent Mason and more.

Old Dominion took a break from their high-energy set during a recent stop on their How Good Is That – World Tour when something in the crowd caught their attention. Fans often bring signs into their shows as a way to share stories or request songs, but one in particular ended up bringing their grief-centered tune “Miss You Man” to life in a powerful new way.
In a new video gaining traction across Old Dominion’s official social media platforms, a young fan named Jordyn can be seen standing tightly against the rails of the pit with a clear view of the stage. As the band delivered their show, she held up a poster that featured the title of their latest release in big black letters surrounded by personal family photos.
The lead vocalist of the CMA and ACM award-winning band, Matt Ramsey, hit pause on the music and made his way over to the side of the stage closest to where the young girl was standing.
“This sign over here has been distracting me all night long,” he admitted before asking to get a closer look at the poster.
Jordan proudly confirmed that the photos were of her dad who has passed. She accompanied the sweet images with the title “Miss You Man” as a way to ask the band to play the tune in his honor. This was the perfect song choice as the storyline offers a deeply emotional tribute to a lost loved one and the struggles of grief showing up in unexpected moments.
“I had a feeling that was your daddy. Thank you for bringing this sign and showing us. I’m sure you miss him very much but he’s here I can feel him, man. Thank you,” Ramsey stated again before adding, “We’re going to play this song for you.”
This was just one example of the many stories that the band says they have received since dropping “Miss You Man.”
“We get a lot of comments on people, ‘I’ve lost, my brother or my mom’…everyone experiences loss. Unfortunately, you got to move through it,” Ramsey told Country Now when discussing the powerful sentiment behind the song.
Fellow Old Dominion member Trevor Rosen added, “I love that song so much, but I think when we wrote it, I didn’t immediately think, ‘Hey, this sounds like our band.’ I just love this. But when you do find something that hits you personally and seems to connect, people connect with it right off the bat.”
“Miss You Man” is one of several deeply weighted tracks that appears on Old Dominion’s upcoming album, Barbara, and further adds to what’s expected to be their most personal project yet. Band member, Brad Tursi explained that at this point in their lives and careers, they’ve never been more comfortable in being vulnerable and honest about their personal experiences through their music.
“Nothing’s off the table,” Tursi noted.
On August 22, the band will unleash their sixth studio album featuring 13 songs that make up a journey of reflection, hitting on themes of life, love, and mortality.
Alongside the album, Old Dominion is in the midst of their massive How Good Is That – World Tour. They’ve been hitting amphitheaters and arenas nationwide throughout summer and will continue to make their way around the U.S. through September, before heading overseas in October.

Randy Travis, Josh Turner, and Scotty McCreery shared an unforgettable moment on the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage on April 20, 2024, as McCreery was officially inducted into the Opry family. His musical heroes, Turner and Travis, stood by his side to help welcome him into this legendary circle.
Now, that special night has been commemorated at the Opry with a brand-new display that documents the moment in a unique and meaningful way.
Titled “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes,” a nod to the George Jones classic, the display features the actual shoes worn by all three artists on the night of McCreery’s induction. The exhibit symbolizes three generations of Opry greatness and pays tribute to Josh Turner’s emotional speech, in which he quoted lyrics from the iconic Jones song while celebrating McCreery’s place in country music history.
That night, Turner shared, “I stand here tonight proud of the fact that I bridged the gap between the generation of Randy Travis and Scotty McCreery. Only time will tell who will be inspired by Scotty.”
While standing on the Opry stage, Turner then shared the chorus of George Jones’ “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes”: “Who’s gonna fill their shoes? Who’s gonna stand that tall? Who’s gonna play the Opry/ And the Wabash cannonball? Who’s gonna give their heart and soul/ To get to me and you? Lord, I wonder who’s gonna fill their shoes.”
Turner later added, “Scotty is not only a fine singer and a songwriter but he’s a great man, husband, and now father. I’m proud of him and I’m proud that he is filling the shoes of the artists before him. With artists like him, country music is in great shape.”
The display includes McCreery’s black Lucchese boots, Travis’ black low-top Converse shoes, and Turner’s square-toed Ariat Cowboy boots and an autographed copy of the speech Turner read aloud on stage that evening.
Alongside a photo of the new display, Turner reflected on that evening on social media, writing, “The Grand Ole Opry came up with the idea for this very cool display and when I saw it for the first time I was really moved. This night will always be a highlight of my career. I was honored Scotty McCreery asked me to induct him, and I was honored to have my hero, Randy Travis standing by my side.”
McCreery later shared, “I will always be honored that the Opry created this backstage display of the boots and shoes that Josh Turner, Randy Travis, and I wore when they inducted me into the Opry last year.”

Luke Combs may be one of the biggest names in country music, but fame hasn’t changed much about the way he lives day to day. In fact, even now that he’s a 2X CMA Entertainer of the Year and multi-platinum artist, the North Carolina native says his life offstage is surprisingly low-key, which is something he’s worked hard to keep that way since the very start.
“I live an oddly normal life, to be honest…and that’s the way I want it to be,” Combs told Audacy’s Katie Neal.
In order to maintain that normalcy as a massively successful artist, Combs has had to work hard to establish a good work life balance and through it all, the key has been to remain his most authentic self whether he’s on stage, in public or in the comfort of his own home.
“I feel like is whatever the public version of me is, because it’s not really any different than who I just am anyways. Whatever the persona is, is just who I am. So it’s easy to just be myself and that’s what I always wanted. I didn’t want to have to pretend to be anything and that I’m not,” he admitted.
Living In A Two-Bedroom House
At home, Combs is just father and a husband who still shares a 2-bedroom, 2,000-square-foot home with his wife Nicole and their two young sons.
“Me and my wife have a room and the boys share a room. We’re always close together,” he shared during an appearance on The MeatEater Podcast.
Living in a smaller space means that he and his family have no choice but to spend time close together. This also allows them to give their boys Tex and Beau in as much of a regular childhood as possible under the circumstances.
“The living room is the play room,” he explains. “And they play in there, I mean, we let ’em destroy it…But every night, it’s like, we’re all cleaning up now.”
Favoring Minimalism To Big Purchases
Even though the “Back In The Saddle” singer certainly has the funds to afford a much bigger house and just about any other material items he wants, Combs says he’s never been one to splurge on flashy things.
“I could have the newest and nicest of everything but I just don’t,” he told Taste of Country. “I mean, I have a lot of nice things that I’m very, very thankful for, but, I’ll get the most use out of what I do have,” he adds.
The hitmaker finds more comfort in simplicity and familiarity however that doesn’t mean he doesn’t still treat himself from time to time. And when he does choose to spend more, Combs admits he has a soft spot for “stereotypical country guy stuff” such as guitars, land, and most of all, watches.
“I’ve got some really nice old Gibsons and stuff like that. Just stuff that plays good. I’m not a very good guitar player, but I really enjoy playing. I love a good sounding guitar. So that was number one,” Combs shared. “And then watches, man, I’m bad into watches, man. It’s really bad. crazy dude…And then I mean land. Hunting land is up there for sure.”
Making Progress On New A New Album
Luke Combs has spent the past few months making an appearance at various festivals and working on new music, all while maintaining that strong work/life balance by spending plenty of time at home. He admits that now that him and his wife are finally feeling more settled in their transition from having no kids to having a 3-year-old and a nearly 2-year-old, he’s been back in the studio working on his next album.
The country act revealed he’s recorded around 30 songs but has yet to decide how many will make the cut and what the project will be titled. For now, fans are enjoying his latest release, “Back In The Saddle” which dropped as his duet with Bailey Zimmerman titled, “Back Up Plan,” continues its rise up the charts. He’s next set to take the stage at the Jazz Aspen Snowmass in Aspen, CO on August 31

Summer Walker responded to online criticism Sunday (August 3) after a TikTok video and recent performance on Chris Brown‘s Breezy Bowl Stadium World Tour reignited speculation about her Brazilian Butt Lift and drew waves of body-shaming remarks.
The R&B singer addressed the backlash in a direct Instagram post.
“I LOVE my body with a fiery burning passion,” she began. “Please get over it. I’m not changing or reducing anything. Idk why it would bother you if we’re not intimate & you don’t even know me in real life but please block me if it offends you or keep scrolling. I don’t invest time & energy into people I don’t like, why should you?”
The criticism followed a TikTok clip where Walker wore a Dior bikini, prompting some users to accuse her of hypocrisy after she previously mocked South African influencer Wandi Ndlovu’s cosmetic surgery.

Summer Walker Roasts South African Influencer’s BBL
In June, Walker posted a photoshopped image comparing Ndlovu’s BBL results to roasted chicken thighs, which sparked outrage online.
One commenter replied, “But she was judging Wandi, oh okay.” Another added, “Trust me, your doctor has secret animosity towards you.”
Ndlovu, who has been open about her cosmetic procedures, later announced plans to reverse her BBL due to public scrutiny.
Despite the backlash, Walker insisted her post wasn’t malicious. “This generation sensitive as f###,” she said in a video, explaining the image was meant as dark humor.
To support her claim, Walker shared screenshots of a private exchange with Ndlovu, where she explained the post was meant to be funny. Ndlovu reportedly replied that she didn’t take offense.
Walker has long been transparent about her own body enhancements. In a 2021 Instagram post, she joked, “I dead can’t believe I was this skinny lmao, Thank god for ass shots.”
She also told Ari Lennox during a 2019 Apple Music interview that she got her butt done because she had a “long back” and wanted more curves, even allowing Lennox to touch her butt during the chat.

Salt-N-Pepa called out Universal Music Group on national television Monday (August 4), accusing the label of blocking their classic hits like “Push It” from streaming platforms and refusing to return ownership of their master recordings despite legal rights that should have kicked in after 35 years.
The Hip-Hop trailblazers, Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton, appeared on Good Morning America to explain why they filed a federal lawsuit against UMG in May.salt
They say the label is stonewalling their efforts to reclaim their early catalog, which includes genre-defining singles like “Shoop” and “Let’s Talk About Sex.”
“We have done all the things legally to get our copyrights back, but they’re just refusing. So, we had to sue them,” said James.
Filed Tuesday (May 19) in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the lawsuit hinges on Section 203 of the U.S. Copyright Act. That statute gives artists the right to terminate copyright transfers and regain control of their masters after 35 years. Salt-N-Pepa submitted formal termination notices in 2022.
UMG, however, argues the duo’s early recordings were “works made for hire” and that neither James nor Denton were named in the original contracts, making them ineligible to reclaim ownership.
The company has filed a motion to dismiss the case and declined to comment on the ongoing litigation.
Salt-N-Pepa Claims UMG “Holding Our Rights Hostage”
In the meantime, Salt-N-Pepa allege UMG retaliated by pulling their early albums from Spotify, Apple Music and other major streaming services between May and July 2024, cutting off both revenue and exposure.
“We didn’t have that leverage,” Denton said, adding, “We didn’t have that knowledge. We didn’t have that control in the ’80s. And so to be held to a contract from 1985 and 40 years later is ridiculous.”
The lawsuit seeks actual damages that could exceed $1 million, punitive damages and a permanent injunction affirming their rights to the masters.
The pair said the legal battle is bigger than just their catalog—it’s about protecting artists’ rights and ensuring creators can reclaim their work after decades of industry control.
“They’re just holding our rights hostage,” James said.
When asked how they want to be remembered, Denton didn’t hesitate: “Those girls fight. They real. They fight for their rights, for our rights, for women rights. Nothing’s fake. What you see is what you get.” James added, “I want to inspire women. Inspire and encourage women to be themselves, to go for it, you know, and to not be afraid to knock down barriers in the workplace, in the world, whatever you’re doing, just be strong.”

Donald Trump praised Sydney Sweeney and her American Eagle campaign on Truth Social after discovering the actress is a registered Republican, calling her denim ad the “HOTTEST” and claiming the jeans are “flying off the shelves.”

Sweeney’s American Eagle ad, part of the brand’s “Back to School” campaign, stirred up mixed reactions online when it launched. The commercial features the Euphoria star in a pair of low-rise jeans with the tagline “good jeans,” a play on words that some critics called “tone-deaf” and “objectifying.” Others defended the campaign, saying it was a lighthearted nod to early 2000s fashion and body positivity.

Boosie Badazz is throwing in the towel on his long-running federal gun case after a back-and-forth with the courts that started in San Diego last year.
The Baton Rouge rapper revealed this week that he took a plea deal with the feds.

This all started back in May 2023 when San Diego cops spotted Boosie flashing a gun in his waistband during an Instagram livestream.
That clip led to a traffic stop, and cops ended up finding two loaded handguns in his car. His bodyguard was also pulled over but didn’t catch any charges.
At first, state prosecutors charged him with being a felon in possession of a firearm, but those charges got tossed. Then the feds stepped in and hit Boosie with the same gun charges on a federal level.
Things looked up for Boosie in July 2024 when a federal judge dismissed the case, saying the law was unconstitutional for non-violent offenders, citing the Supreme Court’s Bruen ruling and a Ninth Circuit decision.
But the feds weren’t done.
Less than two weeks later, they came back swinging with a fresh indictment, stacking two charges—being a felon with a gun that crossed state lines and having a firearm while using drugs.
That second one could’ve landed him up to 10 years if convicted, so Boosie decided to tap out.
