Natalie Joy, Nick Viall Announce Twin ‘Rainbow Babies’ Following 3 …

Reading Time: 3 minutes

We have joyous news to report from the world of reality television.

In August of last year, Natalie Joy announced that she had suffered a third miscarriage.

Today, she and her husband — Bachelor-star-turned-podcaster Nick Viall — announced that they’re expecting twins.

The couple took to Instagram to share their fantastic news with fans:

“Our rainbow babies are finally ready to join us and this time it’s TWINS,” they captioned a photo of themselves and their daughter, River.

The couple also shared pics of their sonogram.

They did not reveal how far along Natalie is or whether she’s expecting boys, girls, or one of each.

The news comes just six months after Natalie shared the devastating news of her third miscarriage:

“Hi friends Wanted to thank everyone for the love and support after sharing that we experienced our 3rd miscarriage,” Joy wrote in her statement.

“I took this last week to recover physically from my second D&C, lean on my people and nonstop squeezing my miracle rivvy girl.”

“D&C” refers to dilation and curettage, a procedure that’s often performed in the wake of a miscarriage.

“I’m working very closely with my doctors that I love and trust and eager to find out what’s going on so we don’t experience this heartbreak for a 4th time. love yall,” Natalie’s statement concluded.

In March of that year, Joy revealed that she “miscarried again” after previously losing a pregnancy in January.

“Spent yesterday away from my phone but overwhelmed by the love I woke up to,” she wrote alongside a selfie.

“Thanks for hanging on with us, we’ll get our rainbow baby one day I’m sure of it.

“While mourning the loss of our second baby at the beginning of this year, I quickly and very unexpectedly found out I was pregnant again,” Natalie continued, adding:

“It took some time for me to accept what had happened, only to be handed another chance so easily and so fast. But eventually, I found so much happiness. We were finally in a place of complete and utter gratitude.

“This past week, I miscarried again.”

Joy went on to describe the experience as “harder than I imagined.”

“It’s going to take some time for me to feel like myself again, and honestly, I may never will, but I hope to keep y’all involved in whatever that may look like,” she continued.

Needless to say, after such a painful year, fans are thrilled to see Natalie smiling again.

We’d like to add our voice to the chorus of millions congratulating Natalie and Nick!

Taylor Swift: BANNING Blake Lively From the Wedding?!

Reading Time: 4 minutes

The clock is ticking. Who will make the wedding list?

The smear campaign against Blake Lively hoodwinked some folks — including those who should have known better.

Has this torn apart her friendship with Taylor Swift forever?

An upsetting new report says that the former besties might not reconnect in time for the upcoming wedding.

A temporary falling out could have a lasting impact

In a staggering new report by Us Weekly, it sounds like Lively’s legal war is doing more than just draining her time and energy and giving her enemies more fuel.

It may have also driven a damaging wedge in her friendship with Swift — one more long-term than fans had hoped.

According to an inside source, Swift currently feels “some hesitation” about including longtime friend Lively on her wedding’s guest list.

The insider explained: “It would likely trigger a media frenzy.”

As we previously reported, the (now public) inclusion of private communications between the blonde erstwhile besties has left Swift feeling “exposed and kind of violated.”

According to the source, the once fabled friendship between Swift and Lively “is not what it once was.”

This, the insider explained, is the result of an “emotional gap that’s hard to ignore.”

Can they fix it? Perhaps.

But the source warned that “rebuilding that closeness doesn’t feel simple or immediate.”

With Swift’s wedding approaching (reportedly taking place this summer), that creates a ticking clock … and putting things right might not work with a deadline.

Are they even still friends?

As for where things stand between the women today, it sounds … really sad.

“They may have exchanged texts here and there since,” the insider acknowledged.

“But,” the source alleged, “it’s been a long time since they’ve had a meaningful conversation.”

It is all too easy to imagine terse pleasantries rather than radio silence.

That doesn’t make for a friendship. It makes for casual neighbors who don’t really know each other — or for former friends.

“Taylor has stepped back” the insider claimed.

The source explained that Swift took this step “because it has eroded a bit of trust between them.”

By this they mean the Justin Baldoni legal war. Baldoni might fail to convince the public that Lively’s some sort of Machiavellian fiend, but he may have ruined one of her closest friendships.

“When Taylor got pulled into this, it triggered boundary tightening,” the insider described.

The source added: “It will take time to see how things end up between them.”

What should we believe?

We here at THG of course cannot verify whether or not Swift and Lively are actually at odds, let alone whether this alleged rift will be enough for Lively to have to miss Swift’s wedding.

There are those, including Swifties, who believe (perhaps realistically, perhaps out of wishful thinking) that the alleged gulf between the women is a facade designed to keep Swift out of Baldoni’s crosshairs during this mess.

But it’s possible that Swift and Taylor really have grown apart due to this current bitter legal battle.

If so, that would be a real shame. Whatever Lively may or may not have said, Swift of all people should know better than to kick a friend when they’re down.

But Swift has also spent years protecting her image and reputation at all costs. It’s why she so seldom uses her platform for political endorsements or activism. Which is another real shame.

Virginia Supreme Court will hear redistricting challenge

Virginia’s state Supreme Court will decide whether state Democrats’ gerrymander push can proceed after an appeals court on Wednesday pushed the case to the high court.

The state Circuit Court of Appeals, in a motion, stated that the case is of “such imperative public importance as to justify the deviation from normal appellate practice and to require prompt decision in the Supreme Court.”

The move comes after a court in Tazewell County last week blocked Virginia Democrats from going forward with gerrymandering, ruling that the Democrat-led Legislature had wrongly approved a constitutional amendment that would allow for mid-decade redrawing of congressional districts ahead of the midterms this fall.

The move is a potential bright spot for Democrats, who had been stymied by the lower court ruling blocking the party’s attempt to gain upwards of four seats in the midterms through redistricting. Currently, Democrats hold six seats in the state while Republicans control five.

The Republican-backed group Virginians for Fair Maps, one of the main organizations against redistricting in the state, declined to comment.

Virginians for Fair Elections, the Democrat-affiliated group launched last month to urge voters to approve the measure, declined to comment on the record.

Last October, Democratic lawmakers began the process of redrawing maps in the state, an effort that only gained traction after voters elected Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger in the November election and the GOP lost 13 seats in the House of Delegates.

Virginia Democrats had been so confident prior to the Tazewell County court ruling that party leaders vowed to unveil new maps it wanted Virginia voters to approve by the end of last month, with promises of unveiling a map that goes as far as 10-1 in favor of their party.

Virginia is seen as the top prize in Democrats’ redistricting push, especially if Republican-led Florida redraws its maps under Gov. Ron DeSantis. More GOP-led states could also move to draw more red-leaning states if the Supreme Court rules to strike down portions of the Voting Rights Act.

Super Bowl LX: How Sam Darnold’s Golden Retriever Energy United Seahawks Around Him

San Jose, Calif. — Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers had known Sam Darnold since the time he entered the NFL as a rookie first-round draft pick by the New York Jets in 2018. So, when Myers learned Darnold had signed with Seattle in free agency, the two Southern California natives decided to connect a few weeks later for a round of golf at The Bridges Golf Course in San Diego to discuss their new squad. Myers soon discovered Darnold hadn’t changed much since entering the league seven years earlier. However, that resilience hardened through tough times over five NFL stops and led to a breakthrough this season for the USC product. Darnold’s been one of the primary reasons for Seattle reaching the Super Bowl again for the first time in 11 seasons. “It was not a shock when he walked into the locker room and clicked with everybody,” Myers told me. “That’s what makes Sam great — he’s the same person. Sam’s the same guy every day, no matter what the situation is.” Seahawks general manager John Schneider told me that during the offseason, Darnold committed to holding walk-arounds in the locker room — setting up one-on-one conversations with players to get to better know his teammates and build connectivity within the team. It’s a reason players didn’t flinch when Darnold struggled, publicly backing up their quarterback like Pro Bowl linebacker Ernest Jones IV’s profanity-laced affirmation of Darnold after he threw four interceptions in a midseason road loss to the Los Angeles Rams. “He has this self-awareness,” Schneider told me. “A team awareness through self-scouting. In the offseason, he really wanted to focus on team building — building relationships and continuity. “He has these walk-rounds, with guys getting to know each other. It’s the ultimate team sport. The Xs and Os aside, he really wanted to focus on 12 as One and what that means. And that’s guys playing for each other and loving each other up.” With an up-close look at Darnold’s relationships inside the locker room, quarterback Jalen Milroe echoed those comments from Schneider. “I did the same thing when I was at Alabama,” Milroe told me. “You’ve got to know your guys on the team. It takes all of us, and he understands that. He’s done a really good job of dealing with all the guys on the team, on offense and defense.” Darnold finished with a league-high 20 turnovers during the regular season. But undaunted, he played his best football in the postseason, completing 70% of his passes and throwing for nearly 470 yards, with four passing touchdowns and no interceptions, for a league-best 122.4 passer rating. “It’s just being true to who I am,” Darnold said at the podium at Opening Night. “I’m not trying to be anymore than that. I’ve never been much of a rah-rah guy, but if something needs to be said in front of a group, I’m not afraid to do that. “I think it’s just understanding who I am as a person. And I think over the past eight seasons in the NFL I’ve done a better job of continuing to learn myself in that way.” Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck certainly knows what it takes to lead a team to the Super Bowl after joining a new team in the middle of his career. Hasselbeck helped the Seahawks reach Super Bowl XL 20 years ago, breaking through in his fifth season in Seattle. But Hasselbeck recognized that there are multiple ways a quarterback can rally a locker room around them, noting that he was a different type of leader than Darnold when he played in Seattle. “He just kind of seems like a golden retriever, where I’m probably more like an otter,” Hasselbeck told me. “With a golden retriever, you just need like one or two best friends, and you’re comfortable staying by them, having these intimate, deep conversations. “I’m a little bit more like, ‘Yo! Fire pit I my house tonight and everybody’s invited.’ Whoever shows up, shows up. And I’m going to kind of know all of you a little bit. And that’s going to be our normal deal. Who wants to play pick-up hoops? Who wants to play horse? Shaun Alexander and myself, we were the otters. And there were some beavers, there were lions — it takes all types.” While Darnold might be a golden retriever in his leadership approach, he might played like a lion in the NFC Championship Game. He threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns in the victory, and Hasselbeck pointed to that performance as another step in Darnold’s growth. “In the 49ers game, he didn’t throw for 200 yards and didn’t turn the ball over,” Hasselbeck told me. “But then he played in the NFC Championship Game, and that wasn’t the assignment. The assignment in that game is we’re going up against the MVP (Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford), with two amazing wide receivers and a tight end that’s a problem. We need you to cut it loose, but we still need you not to turn the ball over. “We need you to run, and if you get a 1-on-1 with No. 22 (Rashid Shaheed), take it. Anytime JSN (Jaxon Smith-Njigba) has a 1-on-1, take it. That’s the mindset. And he answered. It was like, just play free.” So, even though Darnold’s leadership style may be different, his teammates have been united in their support of him. Because of that, Darnold has served as a catalyst for why the Seahawks are playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday. “I don’t think one leadership style is necessarily better than the other,” Hasselbeck said. “But I think what I’ve seen from Sam, he doesn’t get too high, doesn’t get too low. He seems really genuine. And you can tell that the locker room really respects him and loves him.”Latest Sports News from FOX Sports
