2026 NFL Free Agency: Where Will Mike Evans Play in 2026? 5 Best Fits for Bucs WR

Six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Mike Evans will be back for a 13th NFL season in 2026, his agent confirmed Tuesday. So, the big question now is whether he’ll finish his career where he’s played all of it so far in Tampa. The Buccaneers remain the odds-on favorite for Evans, a rare top-tier receiver who’s only played for one team in his entire career. Of the receivers ranking in the top 10 all-time in career touchdown receptions, only two — Larry Fitzgerald (Cardinals) and Marvin Harrison (Colts) — retired with the same team that drafted them. So, Evans could join a rare company if he re-signs with the Bucs. While Evans’ streak of 1,000-yard seasons ended in 2025, he’s still set to be one of the top free agents this offseason. He came in at No. 15 on my top 100 NFL free agents list earlier in the offseason, ranking third among the wide receivers set to become available. Evans just finished a two-year, $45 million contract, and he’ll be 33 when the upcoming season starts, so his next contract might end up a little lower from an annual value standpoint. His valuations are all over the map, though. The Athletic just projected him at $51 million for two years, while Spotrac has him at just over $13 million a year; Pro Football Focus gave him a one-year, $18 million deal. So we offer up five potential landing spots for Evans. Will he be a lifetime Buc like Ronde Barber and Derrick Brooks, or finish a Hall of Fame career elsewhere like John Lynch and Warren Sapp? 5. New England Patriots New England went from 4-13 to playing in the Super Bowl in a single season, and they did it without a true star on the receiving end of Drake Maye’s passes. Stefon Diggs could be cut with a big contract and modest returns, and if they did that, it would cost close to the same to bring in Evans, who is the same age as Diggs but has had a much more consistent NFL career. For comparison, the Patriots haven’t had a receiver get 10 touchdowns in a season since Randy Moss in 2009, while Evans has done it six times in that span. 4. Houston Texans The key here is that Evans is from Galveston, Texas, less than an hour from Houston, and spends part of his offseason back in his home state, so this wouldn’t be a departure to a strange city he doesn’t know. Had he not decided to re-sign with the Bucs two years ago, the Texans were in play, and their success last season with perhaps the NFL’s top defense doesn’t hurt them. Houston went 12-5 last year and won a playoff game, so they qualify as the kind of playoff contender he would want to play for at the end of his career. They already have two 6-foot-4 standout receivers in Nico Collins and Jayden Higgins, so you could argue Houston might prefer a speed threat more than adding even more size to their receiving corps. The Texans also have limited cap space and other positional needs that arguably have more urgency. 3. Kansas City Chiefs The Chiefs have an MVP quarterback in Patrick Mahomes without a true No. 1 receiver — in the three seasons since they traded Tyreek Hill to the Dolphins, no Kansas City receiver has caught more than seven touchdowns in any year. If tight end Travis Kelce does retire, there’s a greater need for star power in the passing game, and having played for Tom Brady, Evans will appreciate being able to have one of the very best passers throwing you the ball. Rashee Rice’s off-field problems could add to the immediacy to upgrade at receiver, and while they’re still over the cap even after restructuring of Mahomes’ contract, they have other moves they could make to facilitate a contract like Evans will command. If Mahomes is healthy again, they’ll be a contender and their need for receiver help could make them a potential match. 2. Buffalo Bills Buffalo sure could use a No. 1 receiver, just like Kansas City. Despite having an MVP-caliber quarterback in Josh Allen, the Bills haven’t had a receiver get more than five touchdowns in a season over the last two years. They’re moving into a brand-new stadium this fall, so it’s nice to make a splash signing to add extra buzz around the team, and the offensive shift with coordinator Joe Brady getting promoted to head coach would mesh well with adding a high-profile receiver to their talented offense. Would Evans like to play in the cold after 12 years in sunny Florida? Cold weather might not be ideal for a player with persistent hamstring injuries, and the Bills are over the salary cap right now, so they’d need some maneuvering to add a pricey receiver, though a second, non-guaranteed year or void years could lower the immediate cap hit involved in signing Evans. 1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Evans is the best offensive player in Tampa Bay history — no offense to Tom Brady’s three years with the Bucs — and has rewritten all of their receiving records. He’s been the team’s Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee four times and has consistently expressed a desire to be a “Buc for life,” playing only for Tampa. General manager Jason Licht, whose very first pick on the job was taking Evans in 2014, has said the same, with a reputation of rewarding his team’s best players by keeping them in town. But the Bucs have other positional needs, like edge rusher and linebacker, and they have solid depth even without Evans at receiver, with Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan back healthy for 2026, and Emeka Egbuka and Tez Johnson still developing after combining for 11 touchdown catches as rookies. Quarterback Baker Mayfield has lobbied for Evans to come back for another season as well, and the offense is much more dangerous when Evans and his 108 career touchdowns are occupying a defense’s priorities. Is the news this week that Evans will explore free agency just agent-driven leverage, trying to get a little more from the Bucs with the idea there’s competition for his services? Or could he really finish his career in another uniform? That will be answered in less than a month, when free agency opens and players can talk to new teams starting March 9.Latest Sports News from FOX Sports

Bunnie Xo Says Jelly Roll Cheated Even Though They Had an Open Marriage

Reading Time: 3 minutes

As we previously reported, Bunnie Xo just released a new memoir.

And as expected, the book contains a number of revelations about her marriage to Jelly Roll, including intimate details about their sex life.

Bunnie opens up about Jelly’s affair, which was just revealed last year — and she says that while she’s more permissive than most wives, she still felt betrayed by her husband’s sexcapades.

Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll attend the 68th GRAMMY Awards Pre-GRAMMY Gala & GRAMMY Salute to Industry Icons Honoring Avery Lipman and Monte Lipman at The Beverly Hilton on January 31, 2026 in Beverly Hills, California.

In a new excerpt published by E! News, Bunnie reflects on finding out that Jelly carried on a ten-month affair with one of his exes (“not a baby mama,” she clarified).

She also cleared up that while she and Mr. Roll might have more relaxed rules than most married couples, he still violated her trust by getting serious with someone else.

“She told me about how he got a house for them to live in, and he wanted her to stay at home and take care of [his daughter] Bailee,” Bunnie wrote in Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic.

“And out of everything, that’s what made me sick. It wasn’t about him f–king this broad — it was about emotionally cheating and then wanting her to play mommy to a little girl I’d fallen in love with.”

In one recent interview, Bunnie described Jelly’s affair as “one of the worst moments of my adulthood.”

Fans were somewhat confused, as Bunnie previously said on her podcast, “We allow each other to be who we want to be … If I want to sleep with another guy, I can go sleep with another guy.”

She clarified the matter (somewhat) in her memoir:

“I thought my openness and willingness to have third parties would save me from all the other cheating I’d experienced in my life,” Bunnie explained.

“If a girl wanted to come home with us, we more than likely wouldn’t turn her down.

“J has always told me that I can sleep with other men if I want to,” she continued.

“We both live by the motto that we aren’t each other’s possessions and consider our relationship to be free, not open.”

Despite all of that, Jelly’s betrayal clearly took quite a toll on Bunnie.

“I’m not going to pretend that we just went back to normal,” she wrote in her memoir.

“It would take years for me to put the affair aside. It would take years to actually feel like this man loved me — that I wasn’t disposable.”

These days, Bunnie and Jelly are working on welcoming twins via IVF and a surrogate.

And that’s not the only good news: In a new interview with Howard Stern, Bunnie revealed that Jelly Roll’s penis is bigger these days, thanks to his recent weight loss.

Things are really looking up for these two!

Anne Burrell: Food Network Star Left a Suicide Note

Reading Time: 3 minutes

She left a note.

Last year, we reported on the tragic death of Anne Burrell.

Though authorities investigated it as a possible overdose, they concluded that she died by suicide.

Now, it’s reported that Burrell left what appears to be a suicide note behind.

A note and tell-tale journal entries were in her home

The late great Food Network star apparently left a “suicidal note” in the primary bedroom of her Brooklyn home, TMZ reports.

Burrell died in June 2025 in her home.

According to NYPD findings, investigators found a suicide note and journal entries with “suicidal” messaging on a bed in the same room as the note.

Assuming that these are not forgeries or being greatly misunderstood, it sounds like Burrell was grappling with suicidal ideation for some time.

Ultimately, the disease of suicidal depression caught up with her, claiming her life.

Last summer, we reported that Stuart Claxton, Burrell’s husband, discovered her on the shower floor in their home.

He called for help.

Paramedics responding to the call were unable to revive Burrell.

They declared her dead at the scene.

According to reports at the time, first responders noted a bunch of pills near the late celebrity chef’s body.

The medical examiner determined that she died by suicide

As we reported in July of 2025, the NYC Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that Burrell had died by suicide.

That was the manner of death.

Medically speaking, the cause of death was “acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine.”

You likely recognize at least some of these names.

Simply put, it sounds like the combination of medications that someone might take if they do not care what result their interactions might have — or is simply hoping for a dire result.

Contrary to what police found in her home, Burrell’s final social media posts showed no sign of depression, suicidal ideation, or anything resembling a cry for help.

This is actually pretty common.

Yes, many people do show clear signs that suicidal depression is in danger of taking their lives.

But that is not universal. Some people are able to hide their symptoms, perhaps out of shame or a desire to fight this battle alone.

And yes, many people can post happy, cheerful social media posts while misery eats away at them in real life. Some would argue that this is essentially the operating standard for running an Instagram account.

Her friends and fans continue to mourn

Food Network fans know Burrell from multiple shows, including Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, The Best Thing I Ever Ate, and Worst Cooks in America.

(To be clear, she was not herself one of the titular “worst cooks” … any show about bad cooks requires good cooks for contrast.)

Burrell had also been branching out. She’d been working on improv comedy — even performing at The Second City the night before her death.

Clearly, she left a lasting and positive impact upon the world.

Her fans and loved ones wish that she were still with us. Her passing is a tragedy.

Ejections and Eruptions: Inside UCLA Head Coach Mick Cronin’s Bizarre Night

On a night that spiraled almost from the opening tip, UCLA head coach Mick Cronin made sure the strangest moments came after the outcome was no longer in doubt. With just under five minutes remaining in UCLA’s eventual 82-59 loss to No. 15 Michigan State on Tuesday night, Bruins backup center Steven Jamerson — a former Michigan State student — was whistled for a flagrant foul after taking down Spartans senior Carson Cooper from behind on a dunk attempt. The two went face-to-face, jawing briefly before teammates separated them. Officials headed to the monitor to review the play. But Cronin took matters into his own hands. Before the referees could determine whether the foul warranted a flagrant 1 or flagrant 2, the UCLA coach made the call himself, ejecting Jamerson and sending him to the locker room. It was a stunning sight in a game already well decided. Even Michigan State coach Tom Izzo had to chuckle afterward. “I guess he upgraded that to a flagrant 2,” Izzo joked. “First time I saw a coach do that.” It turns out that was just a prelude to what would come next. In a postgame gathering with reporters, Cronin was asked about Michigan State’s student section chanting the name of former Spartans forward Xavier Booker, who transferred to UCLA this past offseason. “I could give a rat’s ass about the other team’s student section,” Cronin said. “I would like to give you kudos for the worst question I’ve ever been asked.” When the exchange grew tense, Cronin accused the reporter of raising his voice, a claim the reporter denied. “I coach UCLA. I don’t care about Michigan State’s students. Who cares?” The optics were alarming, particularly for a program reeling from consecutive 20-plus point losses for the first time since the 1944-45 season. On a night when UCLA needed to make a statement, its head coach delivered the statement instead.Latest Sports News from FOX Sports

The clip shows a man driving a sports car down Broadway, pulling up to the venue, and being greeted by a flurry of flashing lights as he steps out of the car. When the video cuts to a close-up of his hands, Brown’s iconic tattoos are unmistakable, sending social media buzzing with speculation about the superstar’s involvement. The clip concludes with the text “Powered By Elia”, hinting at a collaboration with the hospitality group behind the project.

According to a 2024 report from The Tennessean, Elia Group announced plans to acquire and open 10 restaurants and bars in the Nashville area by 2027, starting with The Valentine, located at 312 Broadway.

Further fueling the rumors, WhatNow.com reported that The Valentine had closed for “major renovations” last fall, with plans to reopen in Spring 2026 alongside a “celebrity partner.”

At the time, an employee revealed that the bar’s temporary closure followed a buyout by Elia Group and that renovations were expected to last four to six months. She also confirmed that there was an artist involved, however, did not mention his/her name.

“Nashville is a city with soul, and Elia Group is honored to continue becoming a part of its story,” Zaid Elia, founder and CEO of the Elia Group, said in an official release. “Through the renovation of The Valentine, we’re not just revitalizing a space — we’re investing in the local culture, the people, and the energy that make this city unique. Our vision is to create welcoming destinations that serve as a reflection of the community and contribute meaningfully to its continued growth.”

If Kane Brown does plant roots on Broadway, he will join a growing roster of celebrity-owned or celebrity-themed bars in the area. This includes Alan Jackson’s AJ’s Good Time Bar, Garth Brooks’ Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk, Jon Bon Jovi’s JBJ’s Nashville, Luke Bryan’s Luke’s 32 Bridge, Post Malone’s Posty’s Nashville, Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock ‘N’ Steakhouse, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, and Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, among others.

Lower Broadway is already packed with celebrity bars, and now fans can’t stop wondering if Kane Brown will be next. Everyone’s on the edge of their seats waiting for an official announcement.

Megan Moroney Says Her Loyal Fans Give Her Freedom To Be Vulnerable On ‘Cloud 9’ Album

Megan Moroney is approaching the release of her third studio album, Cloud 9, with zero fear. There’s no denying that her fanbase is loyal to the core, and thanks to their unwavering support, the country star says she isn’t afraid to wear her heart on her sleeve and allow them to hear all of the vulnerable stories on the upcoming project.

Serving as a co-writer on each of the 15 tracks, Moroney dives into experiences and emotions that were all pulled from real moments. Whether the Georgia native opening about love or heartbreak or the realities of life, she offers raw authenticity, something she knows her fans appreciate.

“I said this whole album with my chest,” she told Audacy’s Katie Neal. “I’m just like, it is what it is. I feel like I know I’ve got the best fans in the world, and they make me confident enough to where they’re going to get behind my songs, and they know that it’s coming from an honest, authentic place. And that just has given me more confidence as a songwriter to not give a crap what people are going to say about it.”

Prior to its February 20 release, listeners have gotten a few glimpses into the 15-track collection through songs like “Wish I Didn’t,” the GOLD-certified Country radio No. 1 smash “6 Months Later,” the Billboard Hot 100-charting Country radio hit “Beautiful Things,” and the title track.

Between these songs and the unreleased tracks Moroney has previewed across social media, it’s safe to say that fans are already getting eager to start singing them back to her on the upcoming Cloud 9 Tour.

The massive international headline trek will take Megan Moroney to some of the biggest arenas across North America, Europe, and the UK. She expressed a lot of excitement surround the run, teasing that the production will be on a completely new level.

“I can say that the thrust is in the shape of a nine. So that’s really fun. It’s so fun to, I’m like, what do you mean that I get to just ask for stuff and it gets done? I’m like, ‘how crazy would a nine thrust be?’ And they’re like, ‘oh, we could do that, easy.’ I’m like, ‘okay, period.’”

She went on to say that the atmosphere at every show will be best described as “dreamy” and “whimsical,” with plenty of exciting outfit changes to match. While there are still a few details to finalize, like the setlist, she promises fans it will be her “biggest and best tour yet.”

Moroney also recognizes the fact that the energy of her shows wouldn’t be the same without the room full of fans screaming back at her every night.

“My fans are just the best,” the “6 Months Later” singer gushed. “So getting to sing these songs every single night with them, even when I write the songs, one of my first thoughts is, ‘my fans are going to love this.’ And I think it’s an amazing connection that we have. I feel like my fans target audience is reached, you know what I mean? I have found my people.”

She continued, “I’m so excited. I love touring, and they make it really amazing. If they weren’t like they are, I don’t know if I could enjoy it as much as I do, just because touring is exhausting, mentally draining and you’re never home and you miss things, but they make it worth it. A hundred percent.”

Lindsey Vonn Reveals Her Beloved Dog Died Just Hours After Olympics Crash

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Earlier this month, Olympic athlete Lindsey Vonn suffered a terrible crash during an event.

Medics airlifted her off of Cortina d’Ampezzo. She has undergone multiple surgeries since then.

Unfortunately, things were even worse for her than the medical side of things.

Within hours of her crash, her beloved dog died.

Two tragedies within hours of each other

On Wednesday, February 18, Olympic athlete Lindsey Vonn took to her Instagram page to share her heartbreak.

“Leo Vonn,” she began her caption. “2013-2/9/2026.”

Vonn wrote: “Leo has passed away and joined Lucy and Bear up in heaven.”

She expressed: “This has been an incredibly hard few days. Probably the hardest of my life.”

Vonn then admitted: “I still have not come to terms that he is gone.”

“The day I crashed, so did Leo,” Vonn pointed out, referring to her crash during the downhill at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Her complex tibial fracture required multiple surgeries before she even returned to the US.

“He had been recently diagnosed with lung cancer,” she shared, adding: “(He survived lymphoma a year and a half ago) but now his heart was failing him.”

Vonn acknowledged: “He was in pain and his body could no longer keep up with his strong mind.”

She recalled: “As I [lay] in my hospital bed the day after my crash, we said goodbye to my big boy.”

Vonn lamented: “I had lost so much that meant something to me in such a short amount of time. I can’t believe it.”

Leo will always be part of her story

“My boy has been with me since my second ACL injury, when I needed him most,” Vonn detailed.

“He held me on the sofa as I watched the Sochi Olympics,” she wrote. “He lifted me up when I was down.”

Vonn gushed: “He [lay] by me, and cuddle me, always making me feel safe and loved..”

She acknowledged: “We have been through so much together in 13 years.”

Vonn admitted: “It’s going to be a while before I emotionally process things but I know he will always be with me.”

“I know he’s up there with Lucy and Bear and my mom and grandparents and so many people I have lost in the past few years,” Vonn affirmed.

“And I takes solace knowing he’s not in pain anymore,” she added.

“There will never be another Leo,” Vonn mourned. “He will always be my first love.”

She then shared an update, that she would be: “Heading in for more surgery today.”

Vonn concluded: “Will be thinking of him when I close my eyes I will love you forever my big boy.”

Our hearts go out to her at this time. Though she will always feel this loss, we wish her a rapid and full physical recovery so that she can continue to process her grief.
