As fans count down to the premiere of The Voice Season 30, the coaches are continuing to build excitement with the highly anticipated coaches’ performance, which premiered earlier today.

This long-standing The Voice tradition brings the coaches from different genres of music together for one epic performance. This season is no different, as Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, Queen Latifah and Adam Levine came together to showcase their talents with a performance of “The Weight” by The Band.

Green kicks off the performance, strumming his acoustic guitar before Levine takes over on the drums for the first verse as the other coaches watch on and groove to the music. When the chorus arrives, all four coaches join in, harmonizing beautifully.

Queen Latifah showcases her powerful vocals next, followed by Green, who takes on another verse while strumming his guitar.

A barefoot Clarkson closes out the performance with her soulful vocals, proving once again that she can truly sing anything. 

“The Weight” was released by The Band in 1968 and was later named one of Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Season 30 of The Voice marks the return of alums Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson, while Queen Latifah and Riley Green are making their coaching debuts.

During a recent appearance on the Superstar Power Hour podcast, Green opened up about his role on The Voice and admitted that being part of the popular reality singing competition is “a lot easier than acting.”

The Alabama native recently made his acting debut on Marshals, where he starred alongside Luke Grimes. His character had a lot of baggage.

“When I was on Marshals, I’m playing a former Marine with PTSD and there’s something that’s very serious and you wanna get that right,” he pointed out. “It’s something I haven’t lived through. I’ve got to get out of my skin, and on The Voice I’m just being me.”

Green shared that he uses his personality and sense of humor to try to convince contestants to join his team.

“All you have to do is just make fun of Adam for being old, talk about how famous Queen Latifah is, and then talk about how much more country you are than Kelly Clarkson so that they pick you.”

Fans can tune in to the Season 30 premiere of The Voice on Monday, September 21 at 8/7c on NBC.

Luke Bryan has just shared the unfortunate news that his Farm Tour stop in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, will no longer take place as scheduled tonight (Sept. 17) due to unsafe field conditions.

Just hours before he was supposed to take the stage at 1846 Farms, Bryan too to his Instagram story to let fans know about the cancellation. In his statement, he explained that the decision was made with the safety of everyone attending the event in mind.

“Hey y’all. Unfortunately, tonight’s Farm Tour show in Latrobe, PA will not take place due to the conditions of the field. I am so sorry. This call was made for everyone’s safety.”

The country star says fans should hold onto their tickets and parking passes as his team is working on the next steps. As soon as a decision has been made, he will relay the update through social media and his website. Ticketholders can also keep an eye on the email for more information coming soon.

“God bless and stay safe y’all,” he added in conclusion.

Tonight’s show was expected to bring roughly 20,000 fans to the Latrobe area, with Dasha and Kenny Whitmire also scheduled to appear as part of the lineup. The Stas family explained to Trib Live that preparing the farm to host involved clearing about 30 acres to accommodate the stage, vendors and parking. Hosting an event like this would be no easy task, but they were up for the challenge.

“It’s really fun to see us on the map for something like a headlining country star like Luke Bryan,” Stas said. “For so many people who might not have the means to travel down to Pittsburgh for this kind of concert, it’s really cool that he’s coming to our backyard.”

Luke Bryan is scheduled to continue his Farm Tour with three more shows this weekend. He will head to Ohio on Sept. 18, Indiana on Sept. 19 and Michigan on Sept. 20.

The news arrives just one day before the release of Luke Bryan’s ninth studio album, Signs. After working on the 12-song collection for the past year, it will finally be available to fans.

He shared an early glimpse into the album with his current Top 10 radio hit, “Country And She Knows It,” as well as “Word On The Street,” “Fish Hunt Golf Drink” and more.

Music City fans will also have the opportunity to celebrate the release with Luke Bryan when he performs Luke Bryan & Friends at Bridgestone Arena on Thursday, September 24. The five-time Entertainer of the year will deliver a set list full of No. 1 hits as well as plenty of brand-new tracks.

All performers on the show will be surprise guests, except CMA New Artist of the Year nominee Avery Anna, who was announced as an opener.

“Nashville! I can’t wait to celebrate my new album #Signs at Luke & Friends next week…Get ready to have a good time with some very special guests,” Bryan wrote in anticipation of the night.
