Luke Combs Makes Unexpected Stop at Kids’ Lemonade Stand, Leaves Behind Big Tip

Luke Combs made the day of three young boys in Wisconsin over the weekend when he unexpectedly stopped by their lemonade stand ahead of his concert at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

According to WBAL, Combs paid a visit to the boys’ stand in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, on Saturday afternoon while enjoying some downtime between his two sold-out shows at the iconic home of the Green Bay Packers.

The country superstar reportedly spent part of his day golfing at Whistling Straits, and after wrapping up his round, he decided to make a quick stop for a drink.

The boys were stunned when the chart-topping singer-songwriter casually walked up to their stand.

“He walked up, he wanted four BUBBL’R,” William Dahlem recalled to the outlet. “And he tipped us like $120.”

What started as a typical afternoon running a neighborhood lemonade stand quickly turned into a memorable story for the trio of young boys, who couldn’t believe they had just met one of country music’s biggest stars.

“He’s one of the biggest stars in the world, and I got to see him,” one of the boys shared.

The surprise visit not only left the boys with an unforgettable memory, but also gave their business a major boost. According to WBAL, the trio earned a total of $300 from their lemonade stand that day. They told the outlet they plan to split the earnings evenly, each taking home $100.

Combs, a father of three boys himself, is currently in the midst of his massive My Kinda Saturday Night Tour, which has shattered attendance records at stadiums across the country along the way.

Beyond his success on the road, the North Carolina native is continuing to make history at country radio. Recently, Combs became the first artist ever to simultaneously hold two different solo songs at No. 1 across the Billboard and Mediabase country radio charts.

The milestone came as “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” spent its third consecutive week atop Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, while “Days Like These” climbed to No. 1 on the Mediabase Country Aircheck chart, marking Combs’ 21st consecutive chart-topper.

With the achievement, Combs further extends his own record for the most consecutive No. 1 singles to start a country music career, adding yet another milestone to his already historic run.

‘Forever My Lady’: Jodeci’s Game-Changing Debut Album

Widely regarded as one of the 90s landmark debuts, Jodeci’s Forever My Lady was greeted warmly by fans and critics alike. A game-changer in every sense of the term, it’s enjoyed sustained critical acclaim (The Atlantic called it “the album that reinvigorated R&B”) but it also had a broad commercial appeal. It’s sold over three million copies in the U.S. and won industry accolades including Billboard and Soul Train Music awards.

First formed in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1988, Jodeci was the brainchild of Donald Earle DeGrate Jr, better known by his stage name DeVante Swing. A prodigiously talented singer, songwriter and rapper, DeVante idolized Prince and Michael Jackson and wanted to make ground-breaking pop music with his own group, also featuring vocalists Cedric “Ki-Ci” Hailey, Joel “JoJo” Hailey and his brother Dalvin “Mr. Dalvin” DeGrate.

An initial demo tape brokered a deal with NYC-based label Uptown in 1990, though the sessions for Forever My Lady took some months to complete. Jodeci was searching for a cutting edge sound that incorporated elements of hip-hip, jazz, funk and R&B, along with the soul and Gospel music they had absorbed while growing up. In the end, they realized it with the help of Grammy-nominated co-producer Al B. Sure!, whose sound palette and technical skills helped shape Forever My Lady’s legendary title song.

“When Al came in, he brought in the sounds we needed to use,” Dalvin DeGrate told Soul Culture in 2011. “We liked the New Jack Swing artists he was associated with, like Guy, but we weren’t really into sounds. But Al brought in all these orchestral-type sounds and different instruments. It really strengthened the record.”

The marriage of Al B. Sure!’s dramatic soundscapes with the band’s silky smooth harmonies proved especially heady on “Forever My Lady” and the song put Jodeci on the map when it made No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. Crucially, though, its parent album revealed Jodeci had plenty more of a similar caliber in reserve. Its classy follow-up singles “Come Talk To Me,” “I’m Still Waiting” and the sensual “Stay” all made the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hot Hip-Hop Singles Chart, with “Come Talk To Me” also rising to No. 11 on the Hot 100.

First released on May 28, 1991, Forever My Lady further established Jodeci on the charts. It peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 and debuted atop the Billboard R&B Albums chart. The album also attracted positive reviews, with Entertainment Weekly astutely noting: “If they can keep up the momentum of this commercially successful debut, Jodeci will be a force to be reckoned with.”

Hayden Panettiere Reveals New Details About Being Served Up to an ‘Undressed’ …

Reading Time: 3 minutes

UPDATE: TMZ and other outlets are now reporting that in her book, Hayden identifies the woman who coerced her as Stella McAmis.

The name appears to be an alias, but Hayden also identified the nude man she was served up to as a British singer. She says “Stella” put her in a bed with the man after encouraging her to check out his “huge d–k.”

Thankfully, Hayden was able to remove herself from the situation and escape the yacht unharmed. Read on for our original coverage of this harrowing story:

To some, Hayden Panettiere was a child actress with memorable roles on soaps like Guiding Light.

For others, she’s Claire from Heroes, one of the stars of Nashville, as Kairi from Kingdom Hearts, or the singer of the underrated bop, “Wake Up Call.”

These days, she is a grown woman, a mother, and she has done a lot of processing about her life.

She’s now sharing a lot, including a horror story of being led by a “friend” and essentially put into bed with nude Hollywood star.

She was only 18 when a ‘friend’ tried to serve her up to a famous man

On the Monday, May 11 episode of Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast, Hayden discussed her new book: This Is Me: A Reckoning.

“You write about a moment in your career where a friend of yours takes you onto a boat,” the host acknowledges. “You’re led to a room which has an older man in it and then basically told to perform sexual acts.”

“The fact that I was 18, even though I’d lived such a huge life and I thought I was oh so mature at 18,” Hayden recalled. Most people feel that way in their teens, but especially people with extraordinary lives.

“Scientifically, your frontal lobes don’t develop until we’re what, 25, 26?” Hayden claimed. This is a dangerous and debunked oversimplification and a common misconception.

“So even though I felt like I could make healthy decisions, safe decisions,” Hayden continued, “I wasn’t capable of being fully aware of what was going on around me.”

“I was quite literally out to sea,” Hayden said, when she realized that she was “in danger.”

She shared that the erstwhile friend who put her in this situation was “somebody that I had grown to trust and see as a protector and somebody who had my back.”

Instead of having her back, this unnamed person took her to a “very small room” on a boat with an “undressed” man.

“She physically put me in the bed next to this undressed man who was very famous,” Hayden described.

In contrast to Hayden’s rising sense of discomfort at the time, the man seemed to act “like this was just an average day for him.”

She had no means of escape

There are many ways to respond to realizing that you have been tricked by someone you trusted and are now in physical danger.

Each choice carries real risks — in the moment and in the long term.

Hayden fled the room and searched the boat, looking for a place to hide.

Because, for the moment, hiding was her best option.

“There was no jumping off and swimming away,” Hayden explained. They were at sea.

Just because there were more than two people on the vessel did not mean that she could go to others for help.

“And there was nobody who was going to be empathetic to my situation,” Hayden said, presumably referring to the staff or perhaps other “guests.”

With resignation, she shared: “I realized that this was nothing new to them.”

Hayden did not name the man from the bed or the so-called friend who betrayed her. Given how many sexual predators avoid justice and how many accusers face ridicule, victim-blaming, or simply die, that sounds very reasonable.

Her memoir is out on May 19. We all wish that she’d had a better life than the world has given her.

Can Massie remain standing even as other Trump enemies fall?

Next stop on President Donald Trump’s revenge tour: Kentucky.

On the heels of ousting several Indiana state lawmakers early this month and Sen. Bill Cassidy just days ago, the White House is well-positioned to remove rebellious Rep. Thomas Massie in Kentucky’s GOP primary on Tuesday.

It’s one of the final checkpoints in Trump’s monthlong effort to punish Republicans for bucking him. And the list of Massie’s sins is long, from his opposition to the president’s signature tax-and-spending plan to his forceful stands against the war in Iran and successfully pushing for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

“Trump is coming in as the leader of the party and he has every right to flex his muscle,” said Shane Noem, who is neutral in the race as the chair of the Kenton County Republican Party in Massie’s district. “The question remains: Will the ‘Average Joe’ Republican lean into the party, or will they lean into an outsider who’s been in the party for 14 years?”

The Kentucky libertarian’s fate is the biggest in a slate of tests Tuesday of Trump’s grip on the GOP. In Georgia, the Trump-backed gubernatorial candidate seems likely to advance to a runoff, while Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger — who refused to accept the president’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results — is polling in third place. In Alabama, Trump’s endorsement of Rep. Barry Moore in the GOP Senate primary helped boost him to front-runner status.

The president’s endorsement has proven to be decisive in GOP primaries and a mobilizing force for his base. A POLITICO poll, conducted by Public First from May 9 to 11, found that nearly half of voters who plan to vote Republican in the midterms would choose a candidate officially endorsed by the president, compared with a candidate Trump hasn’t endorsed but isn’t opposed to (28 percent), or a candidate he’s actively trying to block (9 percent).

Trump and his allies have had some major recent successes in taking out the president’s foes. They spent more than $9 million to pick off five state lawmakers who opposed his redistricting push in Indiana. In Louisiana, Trump lent the influence of his social media account to boost Rep. Julia Letlow early on in the race and State Treasurer John Fleming in the final hours.

But no one has drawn the ire of Trump and his team quite like Massie. The president’s endorsement of former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein united local forces and various factions of the GOP in trying to sink the iconoclastic Kentucky conservative with a libertarian lean. Spending in the race has topped $32 million, making it the most expensive House primary in history, per tracking firm AdImpact. Trump’s political operation and pro-Israel groups who’ve long opposed the incumbent have unleashed more than $16 million against him. Trump rallied with Gallrein in March, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth promoted him at an event in the district on Monday.

Polling shows a tightening race down the home stretch after Massie led earlier on, with one survey showing Massie leading Gallrein by just over 1 percentage point and two others showing him trailing by 7 and 8 points, respectively.

Trump’s allies are growing bullish after his romps through other red states: “Got another one coming Tuesday,” Chris LaCivita, Trump’s former campaign manager who is running the anti-Massie super PAC MAGA KY, recently posted on X. in response to a meme of the president knocking out Cassidy with a golf ball.

Asked for comment, the White House pointed to Trump’s recent Truth Social post praising Gallrein as a “WINNER WHO WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN” and calling Massie “a totally ineffective LOSER who has failed us so badly.”

Massie is a tougher target than some of Trump’s other foes. His libertarian-conservative politics mirror those of his northern Kentucky district where many voters cheer his contrarian stances as principled stands. He has allies in some of the America First movement’s loudest voices, like Tucker Carlson, former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), who rallied with Massie over the weekend — and even drew a threat of a primary challenge from Trump over that decision, though the filing period has closed.

Massie is not only clear-eyed about the threat he faces, but leaning into the challenge. He has projected confidence down the home stretch, even as Trump’s foes continue to fall.

“I’m glad he’s in with both feet,” Massie told POLITICO on Friday as he left the Capitol for the campaign trail. “This will be his biggest loss ever as far as endorsements go.”

After felling Cassidy, Trump took to Truth Social to label Massie the“worst Republican Congressman in History.” Massie responded on ABC that he was leading and his foes were “desperate.”

In a race that revolves around Trump, Massie has been trying to make the case to voters that they can back him and back the president. He’s attempted to thread the needle on his dissent by arguing he’s with the president “nearly all of the time.” The times when he’s not — the Epstein files, spending, foreign interventions — he says, are because the administration has shifted on its core values, not him.

“Massie’s sitting to the right of Trump and Trump’s never really tried to take out somebody who’s to the right of him before,” said Tres Watson, a Kentucky-based GOP strategist who is not working for either campaign.

Massie’s opposition to Trump’s interventions in Iran and longstanding opposition to U.S. aid to Israel have turned the race into a tussle over the definition of “America First” and the base’s adherence to it as some Republicans, particularly younger ones, splinter over the wars in the Middle East.

“This is a congressional race, but it’s also somewhat of a national movement, and it would be bad for Republicans’ prospects in the midterms if I lose,” Massie said. “Not just because they’ve wasted $10 million of Republican mega donor money on a seat that’s going to be red anyway. It’s going to be because those people will be like ‘why am I even voting Republican?’ … they’ll stay home.”

A win on Tuesday, Massie said, gives him “antibodies” against the president and his political machine. In proving it is possible to withstand Trump’s wrath, it could provide a model for other Republicans who break with the president, though vanishingly few remain in Congress.

A Massie defeat — especially on the heels of Cassidy’s Louisiana loss — would signal a larger reality facing the GOP: There’s little room within the party anymore for politicians who disagree with Trump, even as he enters the back half of his presidency.

“There used to be room for effective, mild-mannered wonkish types because they got stuff done and industry and voters appreciated it,” said one Republican strategist working on the Alabama Senate race on behalf of a Moore opponent, granted anonymity to speak freely without fear of retribution. “Now it’s just different.”

Seahawks Star Jaxon Smith-Njigba On NFL Trophy Gaffe: ‘Getting Disrespectful’

Plenty of people have botched the pronunciation of Seattle Seahawks star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s name, but the NFL invented a new way to fumble it. Smith-Njigba, who earned 2025 NFL Offensive Player of the Year honors, posted a video of his trophy for the award, which reads “2025 Defensive Player of the Year,” instead of “2025 Offensive Player of the Year.” “It’s getting disrespectful, guys,” Smith-Njigba said in a video he posted to his Instagram account about the trophy. NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy told The Athletic that Smith-Njigba will receive a new trophy following the error, and apologized on behalf of the league. “The league made the mistake. We sincerely apologize to Jaxon for the error and are in the process of creating and shipping him a new trophy,” McCarthy added in his comments to The Athletic. “Of course, like the teams he played against this year, we know how great an offensive player he is. We just had a problem spelling it.” When Smith-Njigba was named the winner of the award back in February, comedian Druski mispronounced his name at the NFL Honors. Druski said he attempted to apologize to Smith-Njigba after the mishap, but didn’t hear back from him. As for the year that the “2025 Offensive Player of the Year” is coming off, Smith-Njigba, a Pro Bowler in each of the last two seasons, totaled 119 receptions for an NFL-high 1,793 yards (15.1 yards per reception) and 10 touchdowns in the regular season, helping the receiver earn his first career All-Pro honor. Smith-Njigba’s 19 receptions were fourth in the sport, and his 10 receiving touchdowns were tied with Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver and fellow two-time Pro Bowler Puka Nacua for sixth. Smith-Njigba led the NFL with 1,378 yards when lined up as an outside receiver, according to Next Gen Stats. Then, in the postseason, he logged 17 receptions for 199 yards and two touchdowns, highlighted by a 153-yard performance against the Rams in the NFC Championship Game en route to Seattle’s Super Bowl LX triumph. In 2024, Smith-Njigba totaled 100 receptions for 1,130 yards (11.3 yards per reception) and six touchdowns. Smith-Njigba, who Seattle selected with the No. 20 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, has never missed a game in his three-year NFL career (2023-25). In March, he signed a four-year, $168.6 million extension, with the $42.15 million average annual value an NFL record for a wide receiver. As for Smith-Njigba’s franchise standing, his 119 receptions and 1,793 receiving yards in 2025 are each first in a single season in Seahawks history, with his 100 receptions in 2024 tied with wide receiver Tyler Lockett (2020) for second. Furthermore, Smith-Njigba already stands 10th in franchise history with 282 career receptions and 20 receiving touchdowns, while being 11th with 3,551 receiving yards.Latest Sports News from FOX Sports

Chiefs WR Rashee Rice Ordered To Jail After Violating Terms Of Probation

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has been sentenced to serve 30 days in jail after testing positive for marijuana in violation of the terms of his probation for his role in a crash that left multiple people injured on a Dallas highway two years ago. The Texas State Attorney’s Office said Tuesday that Rice was ordered to go to jail now as part of his original sentence for the third-degree felony of racing and causing bodily injury. Rice is set to be released on June 16, which is five days after Chiefs’ minicamp ends. The Chiefs declined to comment on the case. Rice, 26, pleaded guilty to two third-degree felony charges of collision involving serious bodily injury and racing on a highway causing bodily injury in the March 30, 2024, crash. As part of his sentencing, it was initially ruled that Rice would be able to serve his 30-day jail sentence at any point during his five years of probation. Rice was also required to pay the victims for their out-of-pocket medical expenses, which totaled about $115,000. Rice was driving a Lamborghini Urus SUV at 119 mph (191 kph) when he made “multiple aggressive maneuvers around traffic” and struck other vehicles, according to prosecutors. Prosecutors said that after the crash, Rice failed to check on the welfare of those in the other vehicles and fled on foot. Shortly after his sentencing, Rice apologized for his role in the crash, saying he had “a lot of sleepless nights thinking about the damages that my actions caused.” “I am profoundly sorry for the physical damages to person and property,” Rice added in the statement. “I fully apologize for the harm I caused to innocent drivers and their families.” A month after Rice’s sentencing, the NFL suspended him for six games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. Rice had 53 receptions for 571 yards and five touchdowns in eight games last season before he was placed on injured reserve due to concussion-like symptoms. Rice tore his ACL the previous season, limiting him to only four games in 2024 after a breakout rookie campaign in 2023. News also broke on Tuesday of Rice’s recent surgery. Before serving his 30-day jail sentence for a probation violation, Rice underwent a clean-up surgery last week in Dallas to remove loose debris and inflammation from his right knee, ESPN reported. The procedure is expected to sideline Rice for the next two months. The Associated Press contributed to this report.Latest Sports News from FOX Sports
