Ashton Kutcher may be best known for his work on screen, but it turns out country music has quietly become a big passion of his. Over the years, he’s slowly become a familiar face in the country scene, and now he’s taking that love for the genre to the next level.
In a recent interview with Good Morning America, Kutcher was asked about having a “healthy obsession.” He responded by casually revealing he’s currently working on writing a country music album.
“I don’t know if this is healthy or not. It might not be healthy. I decided I’m going to write a country music album,” he shared.

The actor acknowledged that while he loves the genre and the idea of creating his own music, he’s the first to admit that he’s “not a very good singer.” However, a lack of vocal talent isn’t stopping him from pursuing this dream.
“I’m going to do it anyway just because I want to write an album. I don’t care if anybody listens to it and they probably won’t and I’m okay with it, but I’ve just always wanted to write a country music album. So I’m obsessed with getting that done.”
While this news may have surprised some fans, Kutcher’s love for country music isn’t new. He has previously immersed himself in the community by presenting at the ACM Awards, making regular appearances at Stagecoach alongside his wife, Mila Kunis, and weaving country music into his Netflix series The Ranch. He’s even taken the stage with country star Thomas Rhett on multiple occasions.
He first joined Rhett on stage back in 2016 to perform a cover of Garth Brooks’ iconic “Friends In Low Places” at the Back Porch Revival, a benefit concert in Kutcher’s home state, Iowa. The concert supported The Native Fund, a charity Kutcher founded with former NFL player and Hawkeye Dallas Clark.
Kutcher and Rhett reunited years later for another memorable moment at Stagecoach. The That 70’s Show star appeared for a surprise performance of “Friends in Low Places” with Rhett and HARDY at the 2022 Stagecoach Festival.

Their connection has also led to an unexpected friendship offstage. Rhett and his wife Lauren have grown close with Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis after first meeting at the Stagecoach Festival. Rhett told his label, Big Machine, that after the festival one year, Kutcher invited him and Lauren to dinner in L.A.
“Before we walked in we’re like crossing our fingers like ‘please be as cool as we think you are,’” he shared. “And we walked in and just immediately hit it off and we’ve gotten to become decently close with them. But I never in a million years would’ve dreamed that one of my favorite actors would have been a fan of mine without ever meeting him before.”
A release date for this potential country music album has yet to be shared. Whether or not Ashton Kutcher’s project ever reaches fans’ ears, it’s clear that his love for country music runs deep.
In the meantime, fans can catch Kutcher on the brand-new FX series The Beauty, premiering Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 9 p.m. ET on FX and Hulu.

Fun in the sun, all year ’round!
HGTV star Christina Haack jetted off to paradise. And she didn’t go alone.
With her boyfriend by her side, she’s flaunting her incredible body while seemingly enjoying warmer weather.
This, she says, is her favorite January — ever.
Hawaiian getaway time!
This week, Christina took to her Instagram page to share series of vacation photos.
She and her boyfriend, Christopher Larocca, had headed off to Hawaii.
There, the couple showed off their fun in the sun — and their affection for one another.
Speaking of showing off, Christina herself flaunted her gorgeous summer bod.
She modeled an array of swimwear and other jaw-dropping outfits, as you can see for yourself.
The 42-year-old HGTV star showed off her look in a gorgeous fuchsia gown.
We also see multiple snaps of Christina wearing a lei and sunglasses while sporting a white bikini top.
This was the ensemble that she wore for the snap that features her boyfriend.
She was sure to include looks at the breathtaking Hawaiian scenery.
Christina captioned: “Aloha 2026. Hands down my fav January yet.”
She has a lot to go back to (a lot of house)
Though Christina and Christopher clearly enjoyed their getaway, some might never want to leave home if it looked like hers.

Just a few weeks ago, Christina showed off the interior of her sizable home.
As you’d imagine from any current or past HGTV star, it is quite the sight.
Ostensibly, the now-deleted Story posts were showing off her 6-year-old son’s new presents. Many eyes were on the house itself, however.
Another aspect of Christina’s story, of course, is her co-parenting (and co-working) rapport with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa.
It would be inaccurate to say that their initial split was amicable.
But, since that time, they’ve made things work — both moving on, functioning as co-parents, and co-starring on The Flip Off.
In fact, Christina had straight-up “throuple vibes” with Tarek and his new wife, Heather Rae.
It looks like they may have spent some shared time together over the holidays, for the sake of their kids.

Now, in Hawaii, Christina’s taking time for her relationship.
Many cannot necessarily relate to the television stars who squander the few short months of winter in hot, humid climates.
But some people like warm weather. For that matter, some straight-up need it for their mental health.
We hope that Christina had a lovely time soaking up those rays.

You truly never know who might show up on Broadway in Nashville, and singer Sheyna Gee learned that firsthand when country star Gretchen Wilson unexpectedly joined her on stage at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row.
Wilson captured the unforgettable moment on social media, sharing a video that shows her casually walking into the bustling Broadway venue. As the house band launched into her 2004 hit “Here For the Party,” Wilson paused to listen, clearly amused, before making her way to the bar to order a drink.
“POV: you hear a Broadway singer singing your song,” Wilson wrote over the clip.
As the band played on, Wilson blended into the crowd, but it didn’t take long for Sheyna Gee to spot her. Once she realized who was in the room, Gee excitedly called out from the stage, “Gretchen Wilson is in the building,” drawing cheers from the crowd before making a bold request.
“Would you maybe sing a song with us?” Gee asked.
She didn’t have to ask twice. Moments later, Wilson made her way to the stage, joining Gee and the band for an impromptu performance of her breakout hit, “Redneck Woman.” The crowd immediately lit up, smiling, clapping, and singing along as the iconic anthem filled the room.

The surprise performance even turned heads outside the venue, with passersby stopping to see what all the excitement was about.
Wilson later shared the moment to TikTok, where Gee summed up the experience perfectly, writing, “I will never get over this 🥹 thank you so much for singing with us 🫶🏻.”
Later, Gee took time to reflect on the moment, telling Country Now, “It was an absolute dream come true to get to share the stage with one of my idols! I’ve been a fan since Redneck Woman when she gave a voice to the girls like me.”
Gretchen Wilson is currently riding a new wave of momentum. She recently shared the stage at the Ryman Auditorium with Ella Langley, made an appearance at the CMA Awards, and was featured on the successful CBS show The Road alongside Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.
Wilson’s 2026 schedule is already shaping up with several major dates on the books, including Rock the Country and an appearance at the iHeartCountry Music Festival.

Ever since Natalie Portman’s divorce from Benjamin Millepied, fans have been quick to link the A-list actress with pretty much every guy she’s been spotted with in public.
And now, Natalie is about to be subjected to the most intense scrutiny of her career, as she’s caught the attention of the internet’s most rabid fan base.

Natalie was recently spotted in New York City, where she appeared to be enjoying the company of Taylor Swift’s brother, Austin Swift.
Naturally, fans are jumping to wild conclusions and assuming that Natalie and Taylor will be sister-in-law besties before the year is out.
But before you get too excited and start brainstorming cute couple names (Autalie? Naustin?), you should know that there’s no indication that the relationship between Austin and Natalie is anything more than a platonic friendship.
In fact, it looks like they both might have been in New York for professional reasons.
It seems that Natalie is in New York to star in a new Lena Dunham film titled Good Sex.
“After spending a decade in a failed relationship, pragmatic couples’ therapist Ally is turning 40 and reluctantly dipping her toe back into the New York dating scene,” reads an official Netflix synopsis for the movie.
“But she gets more than she bargained for when she meets two men- one in his twenties and one in his fifties- who show her there is no set formula for good sex.”
Now, Taylor is close friends with Lena — or at least she was at one point — so it’s widely assumed that Austin’s presence on or near the film’s set is not coincidental.
Is he making his acting debut? Scoring his first executive producer set? Just stopping by because he’s famous, and he’s allowed to do that?
Either way, it’s very likely that Austin and Natalie’s paths crossed for professional reasons, not romantic ones.
Still, the situation is sparking a lot of conversation.
And it seems that a surprising number of Swifties didn’t even know she had a brother!
Austin generally lives a low-key life
“Taylor has a brother? I must have been living under a rock,” one Reddit user remarked, according to Hello! magazine.
“Didn’t even know she had a brother until now,” another said.
“Same, I had to do a double take,” a third chimed in.
It’s not like Taylor keeps Austin a secret, but he generally seems to avoid the spotlight.
Of course, it’ll be that much harder to maintain his privacy if he starts dating Natalie!
