Riley Green Credits His Quarterback Days for His Stage Confidence

Riley Green has come a long way since his college days as the quarterback for Jacksonville State. Now, instead of dominating on the field, he’s dominating on stage and on the radio. While being a country superstar might seem completely different from being a star quarterback, Green admits there are definitely some similarities.

In an interview with his label, Green compared the two roles and said the confidence he brings to the stage every night goes back to the confidence he built on the football field.

“Being a quarterback, you’ve gotta have a certain level of confidence to go out there and lead the pack, I guess. And if you’re gonna get up on stage in front of people and sing about stuff you made up, you’ve gotta have some level of confidence then, too. You know what I mean,” he said.

“It’s one thing if you’re just an amazing singer and you’re singing a song you know everybody is gonna sing along to. But I had to go out there and win ‘em over with songs that I made up, and that’s a pretty scary thing for anybody, I’m sure. So, you know, definitely the confidence that playing team sports gives you, it definitely helped me out and helped me get to where I am now.”

To put it lightly, Riley Green is absolutely at the top of his game right now. The Alabama native recently scored his sixth No. 1 hit with “Don’t Mind If I Do” featuring Ella Langley and is about to kick off the biggest tour of his career yet with the Cowboy As It Gets Tour.

He started the year strong with the release of his new single, “Change My Mind,” which dives into the push and pull of trying to walk away from someone who still has a hold on you.

The song also earned Green the biggest first-week add date of his career, with 97 stations adding it in its first week.

Green recently performed at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa and will soon head to the land “Down Under” for a run of shows before returning to the states for Tortuga Music Festival and his headlining tour.

Jameela Jamil Blasts Blake Lively as ‘Villain,’ ‘Suicide Bomber’ …

Reading Time: 3 minutes

The Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni legal war is making headlines again this week, thanks in large part to text messages that have become matters of public record after being entered into evidence.

Yesterday’s batch confirmed that Lively’s battle with Baldoni had taken a toll on her friendship with Taylor Swift.

Today, we have a conversation between actress Jameela Jamil and Baldoni’s publicist, Jennifer Abel.

Jameela Jamil walks the red carpet during the 71st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on September 22, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.

And the exchange has Blake catching more strays than the local dog pound.

“I want to officially incorporate nightmare c–t and demon c–t into my vocabulary; UNBELIEVABLE; She’s doing this to herself,” Abel wrote at one point (via the Daily Mail).

“She’s a suicide bomber at this point,” Jamil agreed, adding:

“At least borderline abusive is out there so she can’t go in with predator.”

In a later conversation, Jameela and Jennifer roasted Blake for posting a link for domestic abuse survivors.

At the time, many interpreted the move as Blake’s way of deflecting criticism she’d received for allegedly brushing off the domestic violence themes in It Ends With Us, the film she made with Baldoni.

“Did you see Blake post that survivors link? Dead,” Jameela wrote.

“Oh yes, it’s so sick,” Jennifer replied.

“So cold; Just some stats and a link,” added Jamil.

“I’m thinking about having Justin share it,” Abel joked, along with a winking emoji.

“Ahahaha no keep him away from her; keep him silence; Keep him in Sweden,” Jameela replied.

“I hate her so much,” Jennifer added, prompting Jameela to reply:

“So much; I’ve never seen such a bizarre villain act before; She’s OVER over.”

Needless to say, Jameela is decidedly Team Justin. But when this thing eventually goes to court, Baldoni will be the defendant.

In December of 2024, Lively sued him for sexual harassment, retaliatory conduct, and intentional infliction of emotional stress.

Baldoni filed a countersuit, but that was thrown out of court in June of last year.

Justin also seems to be losing in the court of public opinion — but it sounds like he’ll always have a supporter in Jameela Jamil!

Chris Noth Blasts Sarah Jessica Parker for Believing His Four Accusers, Not Hearing His …

Reading Time: 3 minutes

There are some very bitter feelings at play.

Earlier this month, Chris Noth put Sarah Jessica Parker on blast in an expletive-laden social media exchange.

Why? Because she (and other co-stars) cut ties with him after four women accused him of sexual assault.

Noth is speaking out now, complaining that his former “friends” never let him tell his side of the story.

He’s not a happy camper

People reports that, during an upcoming Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson interview, the disgraced actor revealed where things fell apart with Parker.

“We’re not friends, I think that’s pretty obvious,” he admitted during the interview.

Their previous friendship, Noth explained, ended when his first accusers spoke out.

He then referred to Parker’s joint statement with And Just Like That co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, in which they showed solidarity with and support for the multiple women who had accused him of sexual assault.

“The statement that they put out — which was nothing more than brand management, really,” he said dismissively.

“I don’t know,” he continued, “it was sad, it was disappointing, it was surprising.”

He argued: “because you need to call me and hear my side of this.”

At this point, Noth appears to simply be saying what he’d like to say to the actors who no longer want anything to do.

“And you’ve known me for many years,” he complained, “and we’ve worked [together] for many years.”

Noth lamented: “And that didn’t happen.”

This started back in 2021

Just to recap, Noth’s Sex And The City character, Mr. Big, died on And Just Like That.

The shocking manner of his death lead to a (genuinely very smart, at the time) Peloton commercial in which he starred.

However, the increase in attention — much of it positive — prompted the first two accusers to step forward.

One woman accused Noth of sexually assaulting her in 2004. Another accused him of doing so in 2015.

The actor admitted only to having extramarital sexual encounters with them both, but claimed that it was consensual.

Days later, a third woman came forward to accuse Noth of sexual assault.

Then, a fourth — musician Lisa Gentile — accused him of sexually assaulting her in 2002.

Still, Noth denies all of the allegations against him.

Clearly, he resents that his former co-workers believed any or all of these four women over him.

And, also, he seems to resent that they did not personally meet with him so that he could tell his side of the story — presumably accusing all four women, who do not know each other, of fabricating “lies” about him — to their faces.

‘That was too bad’

Still, in his new interview, Noth acknowledged — bitterly — that he understands why Parker, Nixon, and Davis released their joint statement of support for his accusers.

“I get it, that’s more Hollywood than Hollywood,” he said dismissively.

“But before you make that statement,” Noth argued, “you know me, you’ve known me all these years.”

The actor demanded: “give me a call so I can give you the real scoop about this.”

Noth again lamented: “And that didn’t happen, and that was too bad.”

Blake Shelton Says the Perks of His Las Vegas Residency Have Him Feeling Like Elvis

Blake Shelton has just kicked off his three-week residency at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, where he’s getting settled into his temporary home for the duration of this run. The country star has quickly learned that preforming in the same spot for multiple weeks at a time comes with its perks, including getting his own “office,” which makes him feel like a king.

For the second week in a row, Shelton returned to co-host Country Countdown USA with Lon Helton. During their conversation, he boasted about his return to Sin City for several dates across January.

He shared that one of the best parts of the residency is not having to travel constantly. Instead of sleeping on buses or planes, he can stay in one place and settle in, even if it’s for a short time. Plus, he has been enjoying the benefits of having his own green room backstage.

“It’s fun, I actually have my own green room. We’ll go back there and have a drink,” he told Helton. “I call it my office. There’s a desk, there’s a phone that’s not plugged in. I feel like Elvis when I’m there.”

When he’s not handling business in the green room or preforming at The Colosseum, the Oklahoma native admits he doesn’t find himself hanging out in the casinos. Instead, he prefers to head over to his Ole Red location on the strip.

“If I have some free time, I better poke my head in over there and hop on stage.  We’ve done some of that,” he shared.

Blake Shelton’s current single, “Stay Country Or Die Tryin’,” has climbed to No. 1 on the country radio charts. This song appears as the first track off his latest album, For Recreational Use Only. When Helton brought up if he has any new music in the works, Shelton teased that he has plenty of songs ready in case a deluxe edition of the project gets put into motion.

“When I made this album, I made way more music than I needed.  I held on to some of it, I’m thinking one day you & I will be sitting here again like we are today. If they tell me they’re gonna do a deluxe version, I have just what they need right here,” he revealed.

His latest run of “BLAKE SHELTON: LIVE IN LAS VEGAS” officially launched on January 15 and is set to continue through the month on January 18, 21, 23, 24, 28, 30 and 31. Night one kicked off with a two-hour show featuring a hit-filled set list that included many of his 31 No. 1 singles plus the chart-topping single “Texas.” The Grand Ole Opry member ended the unforgettable night on a high note as he delivered his signature hit, “God Gave Me You.”

Those hoping to catch one of these epic shows still have a chance to score tickets, however availability is limited. More information can be found at Ticketmaster.com/BlakeSheltonVegas.
