Is Keanu Reeves married, divorced, or something else?
The legendarily polite and handsome actor has been a heartthrob for decades.
Is it possible to have a wife without a ceremony, or a former wife without a divorce?
Keanu has led a complex love life. Here’s a look and an explanation.

Keanu Reeves and Jill Schoelen filmed Babes in Toyland together.
According to rumor, they dated for nearly three years. However, they never publicly confirmed this.
In 1989, they allegedly split.
This was when Jill began dating Brad Pitt, who was, at the time, at his hottest and also not quite the household name that he would be in just a few years.
Similarly, this was before Keanu catapulted to fame in the ’90s.

The daughter of Francis Ford Coppola is probably one of (but not the) most recognizable names on the list of Keanu’s entanglements.
In 1992, he starred as Jonathan Harker in Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
(It was, to be blunt, not his best performance as an actor, but the classic film is largely faithful to the book — and he looks great every moment that he’s on screen)
Meeting Sofia was easy. He starred in the film, and her father directed. They dated briefly, splitting in 1992.
That film would end up being significant in another of Keanu’s relationships, though this one was very different.

In Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder were co-stars. Their characters were Jonathan and Mina, lovers — until Count Dracula arrives in England, determined to tear them apart.
Their characters do (spoiler alert!) marry during the film.
As we have previously reported, Winona has noted that an actual Romanian priest performed the marriage ceremony. “So,” she has said, “I think we’re married.”
Generally speaking, it takes more than that for a legal or religious marriage. But that hasn’t stopped the two from calling each other “husband” and “wife” for over 30 years, now.
So, though Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder never divorced and didn’t really marry, they arguably did the next best thing. Without ever actually dating or otherwise being romantically involved.

’90s personality Amanda de Cadenet wrote about Keanu in her 2017 book, It’s Messy: Essays on Boys, Boobs, and Badass Women.
Amanda recalled meeting Keanu when she “was two months pregnant, 19 years old, and married to another man.”
That man would be John Taylor of Duran Duran.
“I remember thinking, ‘I wonder how many pregnant women have affairs?’ I was surprised by my strong attraction to a man I had just met.”
Nothing came of her attraction at the time. In fact, she praised Keanu for his “hardcore ethics.” She did write that they would later go on a date in 1997, after her divorce.

Soon after Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Syme began dating, they revealed that they were expecting their first child.
Unfortunately, theirs is a story doubly filled with tragedy.
In January of 2000, their daughter, Ava, was a stillbirth. Their mutual grief was too much, and they broke off their relationship — albeit on good terms.
On April 1, 2001, Keanu and Jennifer met up for lunch. The very next day, she lost control of her vehicle and died in a tragic accident.
Keanu publicly mourned her. She is buried next to Ava.

From 2004 to 2006, Keanu and Claire Forlani reportedly dated.
This was not his most public relationship.
By 2006, things had broken off — something that the world learned after engagement rumors began to circulate.
Keanu debunked those rumors, affirming that the two were “good friends” at the time.
There are worse ways to refer to an ex.

To be clear, neither Keanu Reeves nor Alexandra Grant have exactly jumped forward to publicize the relationship.
They have held hands in public. They have collaborated on projects dating back to at least 2011. They even founded a publishing house together.
There were claims in 2019 that they began dating that year. Only after these reports did Keanu and Alexandra seem to open up, while still remaining private.
As recently as 2022, the two walked around New York hand-in-hand. And in 2025, they’re still publicly locking lips.
Keanu’s love life has been complex, with serious ups and downs. It’s wonderful to see such a kind man be so happy.

Thanksgiving may be a time for spend with family.
But Amy Duggar has decided to use this holiday week for another reason:
To hurl daggers are many members of her infamous family.

Amy, of course, has long been critical of cousin Josh… who was convicted years ago of child sex crimes after a jury of his peers determined Josh had downloaded photos and videos of young children engaging in sex acts.
He is currently behind federal bars and scheduled to be released on December 23, 2032.
Via her latest “update in Duggarville” on TikTok, however, Amy lashes out at Josh having recently filed to have his guilty verdict overturned.
“My cousin filed a motion earlier this year that said he would like to have a lawyer to talk about his imprisonment and said, quote, that he feels like his trial violated his constitutional rights AND that his trial was unfair because it brought up a lot of his past,” Amy told followers.
“OK, so he clearly does not understand that he is going to be in [prison] for a VERY long time and it would’ve been longer if I would’ve been the judge.”
Simply put?
“If you’re gonna look at such disgusting content and get enjoyment out of that, you deserve to be locked up and never released, if you ask me,” Amy emphasized.

Most of Josh’s siblings have either remained quiet in the wake of his illegal actions, but wife Anna and parents Jim Bob and Michelle have remained by his side.
They support the former reality star’s attempt to get out of jail early.
“I don’t trust anyone who is trying to be on his side and to get him out early [and] who’s trying to ‘vacate’ him,” Amy also said on TikTok.
“Are you kidding me? Do you see why I have boundaries in this family? This family unit is just freaking crazy in my opinion.”
In the opinion of lots of people, we should add. Crazy and quite dangerous.

During her TikTok rant, Amy also spoke about certain people with “status and power” often believing that they are “above the law,” before noting the small victory that took place in June when Josh asked the judge for a lawyer to be appointed to him… only for his motion to ultimately be denied.
She said:
“For once, maybe in his entire life, he has to own up and realize the mess and the evilness that he has participated in.
“Your sin will definitely find you out and you deserve to be locked up for the things that you looked at and that you got enjoyment from and that you did in hiding.
“You violated people [and] hearts, you created trauma, you created brokenness, you created so much hurt in lives, so I feel no pity for you.”
For those wondering, Josh Duggar will represent himself on March 4 during a hearing that may result in a shortened sentence. Stay tuned.

Is Dua Lipa pregnant?
Back in June, Dua became engaged to her actor boyfriend.
Now, fans believe that they have spotted a baby bump on the singer.
Is it true? Here’s everything that we know.

On Sunday, November 1, Dua Lipa was out and about in New York with Callum Turner.
She and the British actor began dating in January 2024.
It was only in the summer of 2025 that they formally announced their engagement.
Dua was wearing what outlets have described as a Gen-Z aesthetic (though she is herself a Millennial), including a casual look featurin ga little denim.
Photos of the couple on their walk surfaced online, eliciting praise — and questions.
Alongside numerous compliments, one fan saw Dua Lipa and commented: “She looks pregnant.”
Other Instagram users hit the like button on that comment, seemingly echoing the opinion.
True enough, the white tee that she’s wearing is not skintight. It even seems to flow past her jeans.
This can happen when someone has a baby bump. Or just a hint of tummy.
But different fits of shirts can look like this when someone is merely mid-stride.

“I’d love to have kids one day,” Dua Lipa told British Vogue in summer 2025.
“But it’s like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time,” she acknowledged at the time.
She noted that there are obvious considerations regarding “how it would fit in with my job.”
Dua continued: “And how it would work if I went on tour.” True!
“And,” she added, “how much time out I’d have to take.”

Dua Lipa is 30 years old. That makes her a young woman.
And she is certainly a normal age to become pregnant, though perhaps a little young among fellow Millennials for becoming a mother.
(Of course, the largest obstacle for Millennials becoming parents is economic — a barrier that does not apply to Dua with her estimated $90 million net worth)
But there are other factors. Her engagement is mere months old, she’s been in this relationship for less than two years, and she has a busy and successful career.
Dua will know when the time is right for her to have a kid. But has that time already come?

There is no actual convincing evidence at this time that Dua Lipa is pregnant.
Shirts sometimes fit in different ways, depending upon other clothes, pose, walking patterns, weather, and other factors.
All of the most recent photos of Dua clearly show that she is not pregnant. Her abs look as flat as they did back in August.
On the one hand, it’s easy to feel horrified for the person who wrote that Dua “looks pregnant” in a random comment.
However, we’d like to note that they wrote it under a paparazzi photo — not in Dua’s own mentions.

Donald Trump is going to war with Democrats over the military. It could backfire on him.
The president’s attacks on six Democrats who recorded a video encouraging military members to buck unlawful orders are elevating members of a faction that just delivered big off-year wins for their party. Most hail from swing states or districts, identify as centrists and are leveraging their national security backgrounds to argue that Democrats can retake the patriotic lane.
Trump is also boosting some potential 2028 presidential hopefuls, Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly and Michigan Sen. Elissa Slotkin, while further undercutting the GOP’s attempts to make New York progressives like Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez the face of the Democratic Party.
“Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump are providing Mark Kelly with the kind of visibility that almost no amount of money could buy,” said Barrett Marson, an Arizona-based Republican strategist, referring to the Defense secretary who ordered an investigation of Kelly. “Every 2028 contender wishes they could be attacked like this by the Trump administration.”
Since Trump accused the six of “sedition” and even suggested they could be executed, they’ve racked up millions of views on social media, done the cable news circuit and blasted out fundraising appeals highlighting the attacks.
It’s heightened the stature of even those who have already been the subject of speculation about their 2028 aspirations. Kelly, who was on the short list to be Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate last year, has already visited a raft of early primary and general-election battleground states this year. But only after Trump’s attack was he invited on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” this week.
In recent months, Slotkin has been testing what she calls a “war plan” to “contain and defeat Donald Trump” in speeches outside of her state, meeting with low-propensity voters and theorizing about what she calls “Project 2029.” Now she’s brought those themes to a series of interviews and public appearances over the past week.
As Democrats debate how far to lean into themes of patriotism more often claimed by conservatives, a group of lawmakers organized by Slotkin released a video with anti-authoritarian themes ahead of the “No Kings” protests last month. A follow-up video last week called on troops not to obey unlawful orders, prompting Trump’s explosion.
The president posted on social media they were committing “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL” by suggesting military members ignore their chain of command and shared a post calling for traitors to be hanged. The White House later denied Trump was threatening the lawmakers with death. Since then, the Pentagon has opened an investigation into Kelly, who is a retired Navy captain, and the six lawmakers claim the FBI has made inquiries through congressional authorities.
Democrats, particularly those with military backgrounds, have leapt to their colleagues’ defense, echoing their message about following the law and accusing Trump of weaponizing the government against his political opponents.
“Trump knows that we’re a threat” to Republicans’ grip on Washington, said Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.), a military veteran whose Serve America PAC supports several of the Democrats in the video. “These are great leaders who can take the fight to Trump and MAGA.”
“It’s classic Trump — he ratchets everything up to an 11 and it blows up in his face,” said Austin Cook, a Democratic strategist and former Slotkin spokesperson. “Not only did it reinforce everything swing voters have always hated about him, but it’s also given this group the biggest megaphone they’ve ever had.”
But Tim Edson, a GOP strategist and former political director for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said the video will only confirm the GOP base’s preconceived, negative views of Democratic officials.
“Republicans believe these Democrats are deranged with hatred of Trump, and it’s just their latest attempt to undermine lawful policies simply because they’re Trump’s policies,” Edson said. “These embarrassing antics only rally Republicans to the president.”
Some Democrats think it’s too early to tell how things will shake out for the “seditious six,” as some Trump officials are calling the lawmakers.
“Whether it works or not will depend on what comes next, if an illegal order actually does come down they get to be leaders saying ‘I told you so,’” texted one strategist who has consulted for Democratic veterans and was granted anonymity to speak candidly. “If one doesn’t, they’ve simply made themselves victims to Trump’s latest attacks. Most Democrats fail at playing on his turf.”
Kelly doubled down on the video’s message during his talk-show appearance Tuesday night and noted some of his Republican colleagues are expressing support: “People are starting to take a look at this and saying, ‘Wow, this is just nuts that he’s going after U.S. senators and members of the House for something they said.’”

Speaker Mike Johnson is expected to huddle via conference call with Indiana House Republicans this weekend ahead of their upcoming state House session to redraw congressional maps, according to two people familiar with the planning and an invitation viewed by POLITICO.
The meeting, ahead of next week’s session, represents an escalation of Johnson’s involvement in mid-cycle redistricting, a process driven by the White House: He has routinely said it’s an issue for individual states and one in which he has no direct involvement.
House Republicans are expected to talk with Johnson on a conference call at 1 p.m. Saturday before convening on Dec. 1.
A spokesperson for Johnson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
POLITICO reported last week that Johnson called GOP Indiana Senate President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray last Wednesday, after Bray, whose caucus has largely resisted redistricting, said Senate Republicans would not convene to advance new maps.
In the call, Johnson expressed the importance of holding Republicans’ thin majority in the House ahead of the midterms, according to Bray. Indiana Republicans are weighing redrawing the 1st and 7th congressional districts, potentially yielding Johnson two additional seats.
But earlier this week, Bray reversed course, saying his caucus would make a final decision on redistricting when they are expected to reconvene on Dec. 8.
Multiple Indiana Republicans close to the process, and granted anonymity by POLITICO to discuss a matter that has resulted in personal threats to their safety, said they believe the Senate is still a handful of votes away from having support for the matter.
