Tucker Wetmore tries his hand at acting as he steps into the role of a small-town sheriff on the hunt for his brown-haired mystery woman in the brand-new music video for his fan-favorite track “Brunette.”
Directed by Wetmore and Chase Foster, the video drops the rising country star straight into a Wild West-style chase, complete with wanted posters, dusty landscapes and a whole lot of determination to track down the female outlaw.

Filmed at the historic Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the cinematic clip features a star-studded cast, with Wetmore appearing as “Sheriff Wetmore” alongside Bachelor Nation favorites Hannah Godwin as “The Brunette” and Joey Graziadei as “The Bartender.” Both fully commit to their Western makeovers, especially Hannah, who swapped her signature blonde hair for a dramatic brunette look.
The story opens with Wetmore plastering fresh “WANTED: Alive – A Brunette” posters around town before stepping into the local saloon to remind the bartender he’s not giving up the hunt. Moments later, his search comes to an end the second he spots a stunning brown-haired woman across the room. After a dance, she tells him, “It took you long enough. I ain’t no ghost.”
Wetmore cleverly responds, “No ma’am. Ghosts don’t dance this close to the heartbeat.”
The bartender chimes in to point out that the sheriff finally found what he’s been looking for, leading to the final scene that showcases Wetmore and his Brunette riding off into the cloudy sky while his wanted poster comes into focuses, revealing it is now stamped with one bold word: “FOUND.”
Both the video and the song deliver a clever take on a breakup anthem that finds Wetmore trying to outrun his previous type. After getting burned one too many times by blondes, he swears off everything that reminds him of his ex and sets his sights on something new. With his warm, swoon worthy vocals leading the charge, Wetmore effortlessly blends humor and heartbreak to make a fun, relatable country song.
He sings, “I need a brown eyed 5’ 5” north side of the Mason Dixon line/ Kind ain’t climbed up in a four-wheel drive that’s lifted/ Never been fishing never been mudding/ Gotta be gotta be one that doesn’t/ Remind me of you there beside me I need to find me a brunette.”

Tucker Wetmore caught up with Country Now backstage at the CMA Awards, just as his new music video was dropping. He shared that taking on an acting role like this has been a longtime goal and with it now on his resume, he’s looking forward to exploring more acting opportunities and bringing that same energy into future music videos.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the “Brunette” video, he shared, “My whole thought was I wanted to be an old Western type deal, and I wanted some familiar faces in there. I wanted everybody in the video to be blonde and besides me and the main woman actor, which is Hannah G, but there’s a couple other things that are just quirky and fun and kind lighthearted.”
The song appears on his debut album What Not To, alongside his latest Country radio single, “3,2,1,” is also rapidly approaching the Top 5. The entire project made history as the biggest country album debut from a new artist in 2025.
Last week, Tucker Wetmore delivered his first performance on the CMA Awards stage and was recognized among his peers as a New Artist of the Year nominee. Next up, he’s preparing to hit the road on his The Brunette World Tour, which kicks off in February 2026 with dates across the U.S., UK and EU. Wetmore will be joined by special guests Dasha, Carter Faith and Jacob Hackworthfor select dates.
A portion of every ticket sold supports Face the Fight, supporting suicide prevention and mental health treatment for veterans. A full list of upcoming dates can be found on Tucker Wetmore’s official website.

Between major award shows, massive tours, and racking up more and more hit songs, Lainey Wilson finds herself constantly in motion and surrounded by life-changing moments. Luckily, she has her fiancé, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, to keep her grounded and feeling supported through it all.
A new conversation between Wilson and Us Weekly finds the songstress gushing over her other half as she credits him for his unwavering support and how much it means to have him by her side through the biggest to the smallest moments in life.
“He’s such a good dude. He is my best friend. He’s my biggest cheerleader. We lift each other up,” she acknowledged.

Despite the hectic pace of her career, the Louisiana native says Hodges remains her anchor as they navigate the demanding lifestyle.
“He understands that this life is full of a lot of late nights and travel, and we might be ships passing in the night, but he’s always my rock through it all. He’s my home, no matter where we are,” she continued.
The pair got engaged back in February, when the former NFL quarterback popped the question on the porch of the late country legend George Jones’ estate in Franklin, Tennessee. Wilson has already acknowledged that they plan to take things slow and enjoy the moments leading up to they say, “I Do,” but she now reveals that they might be more delayed than fans think.
“We need to start, that’s the problem. No, it’s funny! I’ve been so busy this year that we’re like, ‘We’re gonna figure it out, for sure,’” she joked.

Regardless of when the ceremony finally comes, it’s safe to say that Wilson is in good hands.
“I feel like my blood pressure comes down, and he’s a safe place to land. I can just let loose.”
Even though Wilson is in a loving, supportive relationship, she hasn’t lost her knack for writing classic country heartbreak songs. She has started to incorporate more love songs into her catalog with stories like “Hang Tight Honey,” and”4x4xU,” “Yesterday, All Day, Every Day,” “Counting Chickens” and more. But that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t still feel the pull to write painful heartbreak tracks from time to time.
“Just like every girl, every now and then we’re reminded of terrible relationships we were in, so it’s real easy for me to tap back into that,” she admitted. “He makes it really easy for me to write a love song nowadays… but part of being a songwriter is being able to step back into a pair of shoes you wore years before or somebody else’s. I write with such incredible people, and they definitely help me dive a little deeper.”

Listeners will be happy to hear that Wilson is already thinking ahead to her next project and has been drawing inspiration from her life on the road.
“I’m always working for the next thing, so hopefully sooner rather than later,” she said when asked if new music is on the way. “I’ve been writing a bunch. It’s fun to go to these different cities, look outside your window and be in a different place every day, and be able to take advantage of that and be creative in these different parts of the world. Everywhere you can imagine, we’re writing a song about it.”
With Duck by her side as usual, Lainey Wilson made her mark on the 59th Annual CMA Awards. Not only did she hold down her solo hosting duties like a pro, but she also delivered several stand-out performances and took home a few awards including Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year.
Following the exciting night, Hodges took to social media to pen a heartfelt note honoring his other half and her evening of success.
“@laineywilson, thank you for being you. You are such an inspiration and role model for so many, including this guy right here. Absolutely CRUSHED it as a host. This girl right here y’all LOVES country music and loves this community and thank you all who love her back! ❤️🎵”
He jokingly added, “It’s duck season now. See ya in February babe.”
Next year is slated to be another big one for the “Wait in the Truck” singer. She will continue her acting career in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Reminders of Him, arriving in March, and bring her headline tour across New Zealand and Australia.

Miranda Lambert is mourning the loss of two of her beloved farm animals and four-legged family members, Sugar Pie and Adrianna.
Over the weekend, the country superstar took to social media to let fans know that both of her mini horses had passed away. She reflected on spending the past 18 years with them, sharing several photos and videos that captured the joy and memories they brought to her life.
“My sweet little nuggets Sugar Pie and Adrianna crossed over the rainbow bridge today. 🌈 I’ve had 18 years with these littles and I can’t tell you how much joy they brought me,” she wrote.

Lambert pointed out that having an animal mom in her life is one of her greatest joys, but admitted that saying goodbye is always difficult.
“The best part about being an animal mom is the joy. The worst part is when the time comes to say goodbye. Full of gratitude for them and for Tommy, Julia and Sarah and everyone who helped take care of them and give them the best life when I was on the road all these years. Godspeed little bittys. I know you are both in greener pastures as I type this. I’ll see y’all again one day. Big love,” she concluded.
Fans and friends quickly responded with love and support. Junk Gypsy wrote, “All horses go to heaven. So sorry Ran,” while many others sent virtual hugs and kind messages to the country star.
It’s no secret that Miranda Lambert is a proud animal lover. She constantly shares updates with fans from her farm and also makes it her mission to support shelter pets through her MuttNation Foundation.
Founded in 2009 by Miranda Lambert and her mother, Bev, the MuttNation Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported entirely by donations. Since its launch, the organization has raised over $10 million to promote the adoption of shelter pets, advance spay and neuter efforts, and educate the public about the benefits of these initiatives.

MuttNation offers support to shelters and rescue organizations through programs like the MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief For Rescues Fund, which provides aid during natural disasters, and the MuttNation “It Takes Balls” program, which focuses on spay and neuter efforts.
In addition, MuttNation Fueled by Miranda Lambert—a pet line of toys and supplies that benefits the Foundation—is available exclusively at Tractor Supply Company stores across the U.S. For more information, visit MuttNation.com.

Martina McBride is opening up about the power of simplicity, balance, and learning to protect her peace. After decades in the spotlight, the country icon has found strength in slowing down and focusing on what truly matters to her.
In a recent edition of Woman’s World, where McBride was tapped as the cover star, she reflects on the mental shift that helped her prioritize herself and embrace the confidence to say no to things that don’t serve her.
“I feel like I’ve always listened to my gut instinct, but I used to have a hard time disappointing anyone. Now I realize if I can’t put everything I have into something, it’s not going to be good for anyone. I think as women especially, we tend to think we need to be everything to everyone, and we feel guilty if we can’t do that. Saying ‘no’ without over-explaining is kind of a superpower.”

Reflecting on her whirlwind journey, the 14-time Grammy nominee shares some advice that has guided her through the years and helped her to discover the value in the word “no” and realize how fleeting time is.
“When I started out, someone told me, ‘Take your time and soak it all in.’ Basically, stay in the moment. Life goes so fast—especially juggling a career and kids,” she says. “It’s important to stop, soak in the moment, say ‘Wow,’ and enjoy it.”
This lesson became even more meaningful as McBride navigated life as a wife to her husband John and a mom to their three daughters, Delaney, Ava, and Emma, all while juggling her successful music career. At this point in her life, she finds that the days look much different and are far less busy, which she says has been a nice change of pace.
“I look back now and think there was a time in our life when we were so busy. My husband and I traveled to move our youngest daughter to California, and we traveled for two weeks. I was like, ‘How did we do all of this with three little kids and all of this stuff?’ I have a simpler life now which I’m really enjoying.”
Now that McBride has found that balance and spends less time on the road than in the early days of her career, she is able to fully embrace the holiday season, enjoy family traditions in the kitchen, and appreciate health and happiness all while still honoring the musical legacy she’s built over decades in country music.
“One of the craziest Thanksgivings was when I did the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York early in the morning,” she says. “Then we flew home to Nashville that day, I cooked a whole Thanksgiving dinner, and got on the bus to start my Christmas tour later that night. I don’t know how I pulled it off!”
The “Independence Day” singer added that when it comes to reflecting on what she’s most grateful for ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, she says family sits “at the top of the list,” but she also feels blessed for her career that has been built on timeless hits.
“I’m really proud of the fact that I’ve chosen songs and recorded songs that mean something to people,” she told the outlet. “I feel like I’ve built a career of songs that have really stood the test of time and are meaningful. One of the greatest things about what I do is hearing people’s stories about how a song has affected them in their life and so my musical legacy is my song choices. I’m really proud of that.”
It’s clear from this conversation that McBride’s definition of success has grown to include more than music. She now finds that it’s the balance, family moments and simplicity that matters most to her.

Brett Young is gearing up for a big start to 2026 with the announcement of his 2.0 Tour. The country hitmaker says touring is one of his favorite parts of being an artist, and he’s eager to get back on the road to reconnect with fans. For Young, live shows are also the best way to see how his new music is truly resonating with listeners.
“I love touring. I mean, the opportunity to share the music at the end of the day, once it’s produced and you’ve written it, and get out on the road and actually play it every night is the real opportunity to see how it’s connecting with people,” he explains. “You have social media outlets, and you get to see Instagram and all that stuff, and people have some things to say. But when you watch a full audience and their reaction to stuff, it’s kind of like my barometer of how the song’s going to do. And so, I can’t wait.”

The tour news follows the wrap of Young’s sold-out Back To Basics World Tour 2025, which took him across the United States, Australia, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
The DIAMOND-certified country star will kick off the 2.0 Tour on January 22 at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. From there, the 18-date run will hit cities across the U.S., including Durham, NC; Greenville, SC; Boston, MA; Bowling Green, KY; Syracuse, NY; and more, with special guest Jenna Davis joining as support.
The tour takes its name from his newest album, 2.0, out now via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. The 11-track project was written entirely by Young and includes collaborations with Lady A, a reimagined take on his career-defining hit “In Case You Didn’t Know” featuring Hannah McFarland, and his current chart-climbing single “Drink With You.”

“After an incredible trip across the pond and feeling the amazing momentum behind my new album 2.0, I’m beyond excited to hit the road next year,” Young shared. “It feels like something special is happening and I want y’all to be a part of it.”
