Kylian Mbappé Goes In On French Rapper Orelsan Over Insulting Lyrics—Gets Reply

Orelsan ignited backlash in France after lyrics from his new album referenced Kylian Mbappé and his family’s soccer business, prompting a heated response from the national team captain.

The Normandy-born rapper, known for his introspective style and longtime support of Caen FC, found himself in the middle of a public spat after his track “La petite voix” included the line “You’ll sink your city like the Mbappés.”

The lyric appeared to criticize the Mbappé family’s 2024 acquisition of Caen through their company Interconnected Ventures, a move that preceded the club’s relegation to France’s third division.

Mbappé didn’t hold back. The Real Madrid forward fired off a pointed message on social media and accusing him of hypocrisy.

“You’re welcome to ‘save’ the city you love so much @‌Orel_san,” Mbappé said. He claimed the rapper once asked for a 1% stake in the club “without paying a cent” because he was “broke.”

Orelsan addressed the controversy during a recent interview on Fun Radio, saying he wasn’t ready to fully engage in the dispute.

“I don’t really feel like responding,” he said. “I’m still in the heat of the moment, and I don’t really want to talk about it. It’s a misunderstanding. I think I just need to properly explain the concept of the album.”

The 43-year-old artist released his fifth studio album La fuite en avant on November 7. The project features 17 tracks and includes a high-profile collaboration with Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk.

The controversial lyric comes from a song that explores his internal struggles and self-doubt, a recurring theme in his music.

Caen’s slide into the third tier of French football came after the Mbappé family took over the club. Orelsan, who grew up in the city, has long been a vocal supporter of the team and frequently references it in his work.

Two Brothers In Court Under High-Security Over AKA Murder After Interpol Take Down

Two brothers have landed in a South African courtroom after a high-security extradition tied to the brazen 2023 killing of Hip-Hop icon AKA outside a Durban restaurant.

Escorted by police helicopters and surrounded by armed officers, Siyabonga and his brother Malusi Ndimande were flown in from Eswatini on November 11 following a coordinated international takedown led by Interpol.

The pair now face 20 charges, including murder, attempted murder, conspiracy and multiple firearms offenses.

The charges stem primarily from the February 2023 shooting that killed South African rap heavyweight Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his close friend and entrepreneur Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.

But prosecutors say the brothers are also linked to the killing of a taxi boss in Amanzimtoti, a coastal town near Durban, in a separate case.

The Durban Magistrate’s Court appearance marks a significant development in a case that rattled South Africa’s music scene and left a void in the country’s Hip-Hop landscape.

AKA, 35, was the best-selling rapper in South African history, known for chart-toppers such as “Fela in Versace,” “All Eyes on Me,” and “Prada.” His 2022 single “Lemons (Lemonade)” was still climbing streaming charts when he was gunned down.

The hit was carried out outside a busy restaurant in Durban, in what police described as a calculated assassination.

The murder stunned the entertainment industry and ended a career that had fused American Hip-Hop with South African rhythms, earning AKA both local and international acclaim.

His final album continued to gain traction throughout 2023, with posthumous honors highlighting the scope of his influence.

Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, a spokesperson for the South African Police Service, credited the joint efforts of law enforcement across borders.

“The collaborative investigation between South African and Eswatini authorities, the National Prosecuting Authority and Interpol” led to the successful extradition, she said.

The Ndimande brothers are expected to stand trial alongside five other suspects already in custody for the double homicide. Their next court appearance is scheduled for November 25.

SLAWN & OPAKE Bring “Heroes, Villains & Violence” To Miami’s Art Of Hip-Hop

London-based artists SLAWN and OPAKE announced a deeply personal and visually arresting exhibit at The Art of Hip-Hop in Miami, using paint, pain and past trauma to anchor their three-day show, “Heroes, Villains, and Violence,” during the city’s busiest cultural week.

Running December 3-5, the exhibition marks the second anniversary of The Art of Hip-Hop and lands right in the middle of Miami’s Art Basel festivities.

The show explores themes of personal redemption and transformation, drawing directly from both artists’ real-life struggles and creative rebirths.

SLAWN, born Adebayo Oke-Lawal, blends his Nigerian roots with a bold street art aesthetic, turning massive wood panels into layered reflections of race, class and pop culture.

His work has appeared alongside Hip-Hop heavyweights like Gunna, Skepta and Central Cee, and his early days founding the fashion label Motherlan cemented his status as a cultural disruptor.

OPAKE, also known as Edward Worely, brings a graffiti-influenced style that reinterprets childhood cartoon icons through the lens of addiction, psychosis and mental health recovery.

His chaotic compositions and repeated imagery mirror the cycles of substance abuse and the mental toll it takes.

The exhibit’s boxing motif symbolizes the artists’ ongoing internal battles and their fight to stay on track while providing for their families.

The Grammy-nominated artist joined FOX 5’s Marissa Mitchell to talk about her latest venture on Aspire TV. The show, which airs Tuesdays, features the rapper sharing home-style recipes with the same energy that helped define her as a force in West Coast Hip-Hop.

“It’s a gift from God. I love to cook. I mean, it’s the only time I can bring my family from upstairs to downstairs. And it’s my passion. It’s something that I’ve been doing for a long time,” Yo Yo said. “I play music. I invite people over. I cook for you. I create a great cocktail for you. I beat you in dominoes and spades. B.o.B Says Cancer Survivor’s Assault Lawsuit “Baseless Money Grab”

B.o.B is pushing back hard against a civil lawsuit filed in California that accuses him of sexually assaulting a woman in a San Diego hotel room following his April 26 concert—an allegation the Hip-Hop artist flatly denies.

The woman, referred to in legal filings only as “Jane,” claims the alleged incident occurred around 3 a.m. at the Westin Hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter after she and her cousin attended B.o.B’s show and were invited to an after-party.

She alleges that when her cousin briefly stepped out of the room, B.o.B touched her without consent, forced her legs apart and said, “What makes you think I won’t kiss you right now,” before doing so. She also claims his wife entered the room during the encounter but was told to leave.

B.o.B, whose real name is Bobby Ray Simmons Jr., has responded through his attorney Leron E. Rogers of Fox Rothschild LLP, calling the claims entirely false.

“Our client, Bobby Ray Simmons Jr., known professionally as B.o.B, categorically denies the false allegations contained in the Complaint filed. This filing appears to be a calculated attempt to leverage publicity and extract a financial settlement from a public figure — a baseless ‘money grab’ under the pretense of litigation,” the statement reads.

View this post on Instagram

The lawsuit, filed November 7 in Los Angeles County, includes no criminal charges and remains a civil matter. No arrests have been made, and the case is still in its early stages.

According to the complaint, the woman says B.o.B’s music helped her emotionally during cancer treatment and that she felt a deep connection to his work. She claims members of his team were present during the alleged incident but did not intervene.

B.o.B’s legal team further stated, “Mr. Simmons will not be intimidated or coerced by such tactics, nor will he remain silent while his name and reputation are unfairly attacked.”

The lawsuit alleges that the incident ended only after B.o.B.’s manager knocked on the door. The woman is seeking damages, though the exact amount has not been disclosed.

In a sharp rebuke of the claims, B.o.B’s attorney added, “We believe the allegations are a fabricated narrative and the plaintiff is using B.o.B as a scapegoat … Fabricating accusations of this nature is both irresponsible and harmful.”

The artist, known for hits like “Airplanes” and “Nothin’ on You,” has not commented publicly beyond the legal statement. His team has indicated they will not provide further remarks at this time.

“Mr. Simmons recognizes that true victims of sexual assault deserve to be heard and supported, and false claims only undermine their pursuit of justice,” the statement concluded.

As of November 12, both parties are preparing for the next steps in court.

Coi Leray Reacts To Flirty Video That Sparked Justin LaBoy Romance

Justin LaBoy dropped a flirty behind-the-scenes video on Wednesday night (November 12) that revealed the exact moment sparks flew between him and Coi Leray, confirming what many already suspected.

In the clip from their September 2025 sit-down on Season 2 of “#Respectfully The Justin LaBoy Show,” LaBoy confidently told Leray, “You my new hobby,” before asking, “where we going after this?”

He then added, “Take a shot with your right hand, so we don’t go left on each other.”

Leray responded with a mix of charm and caution: “I think you’re cute,” she said, before admitting he was probably “toxic,” and unlike the “nerds” and “geeks” she usually prefers.

LaBoy captioned the post, “SHE BEEN MINE EVER SINCE,” while Leray chimed in under the comments with, “Now we stuck 4ever.” She also reposted the moment on her Instagram Stories, writing, “lol crazy how life turn out.”

The pair’s chemistry was first noticed during their on-screen interview, which quickly ignited speculation across Hip-Hop media circles.

By late October, rumors swirled that the two were officially dating, after cozy photos and online banter made the rounds.

On Tuesday (November 11), Leray briefly confirmed their relationship status in a now-deleted Instagram post, where she declared she was “in love” with LaBoy.

The couple has since been seen smiling and affectionate in public, seemingly unbothered by the attention. LaBoy even took a playful jab at Leray’s past relationships in a video, thanking her exes for their “mistakes” and celebrating how things worked out in his favor.

The relationship comes after Leray’s complicated history with rapper Trippie Redd.

The two previously dated in 2019, briefly reunited in 2024, and welcomed their daughter Miyoco in June 2025. They split before the baby’s birth amid cheating rumors.

‘I’m mad’: Minnesota woman gets oil change at Walmart. She can’t believe the state of her car when they return it

A Minnesota woman is in disbelief after seeing the results of her Walmart oil change. Here’s what went wrong.

TikTok creator Volentae Kersh (@volentaekersh) shared a short clip with over 180,000 views showing the “check engine” light on after she received an oil change at her local Walmart.

The overlay text says, “Took my car to Walmart for an oil change and this happened. I’m mad.” It’s not clear what condition the car was in prior to the oil change.

There were varying ideas about what could be wrong with the car and if Walmart’s service could be to blame.

Viewers Review Walmart’s Oil Change Services

“I’ve heard a lot of bad things happening with Walmart auto service,” said one person in the comments. Many commenters echoed the sentiment.

However, others said they use Walmart’s oil change services with no issues. “Bought my truck brand new in 2012, have my oil changed at Walmart, 220,000 miles later, still doesn’t burn any oil,” said one person.

Another wrote a similar sentiment. “I’ve had my car for 10 years now, they’ve done every oil change since I’ve had it and never have had no problems,” he said.

There was one answer that the TikToker liked, likely indicating it was her situation. “The check engine light is most likely because they replaced the oil filter,” he said. “Go back the mechanic can reset that and turn it off, no problem.”

Another person concurred, suggesting to the TikToker and others to ensure the automotive tech double-checks their work. “Have a scan check before you jump onto conclusions,” he warned. “A check engine light is emissions related and not oil level related.”

Other Reported Issues With Walmart Oil Changes

People have reported issues with Walmart oil changes. One woman went so far as to file an insurance claim after her car locked up and had to be towed. There is a August story from Louisiana where a woman brought her 2018 Hyundai to a Walmart, and found that the oil drain plug was never reinstalled. The damage to her engine was nearly $10,000, of which Walmart paid just $6,000.

On forums across Reddit, the reviews are extremely hit or miss (but mostly miss). Of course, that’s likely because people are more likely to go online (or to Reddit) to complain.

Many car experts do not recommend bringing your vehicles to the retail giant for oil changes. However, it’s essential to note that Walmart charges approximately $25-$55 for oil changes, while competitors Jiffy Lube and Valvoline can charge more than twice as much. If a person has a newer car and visits their dealership, they would pay even more.

The reality is that, especially given the current economic climate, Walmart’s risk/reward is too favorable to pass up. People do not have the income to spare for splurging on higher-end repair and lube services beyond what they are currently using.

All Hip Hop reached out to @volentaekersh and Walmart for additional information.

The “Thotiana” rapper, who was recently released from jail after serving time for a probation violation tied to a Las Vegas shooting case, shared a video of his night with Hazel-E.

Chrisean Rock Claims Blueface Attacked Her

The post comes amid a whirlwind of controversy surrounding Blueface’s personal life.

Earlier this week, Chrisean Rock went live on Instagram and claimed she was ending their co-parenting arrangement after he allegedly attacked her.

“I got stomped out in his kitchen, that’s the last time me and my son will ever be around that,” she said. “I’m not doing no co-parenting if my life is on the line.”

The allegations followed Blueface’s release from jail earlier this month. He had been incarcerated since January 2024 for violating his probation in connection with a 2021 shooting outside a Las Vegas strip club.

Since his release, Blueface has been entangled in ongoing disputes with multiple exes, including Rock and Jaidyn Alexis.

Alexis, who shares two children with the rapper, has also been vocal about her issues with him. She recently posted cryptic messages on social media that many interpreted as digs at Blueface’s behavior and parenting.

Hazel-E, known for her stint on Love & Hip Hop, has not publicly addressed the nature of her relationship with Blueface.

However, this public display has already stirred speculation about a budding romance between the two.
