Randy Rogers Band is back with their latest EP, The Going, marking their first new music in over two years. The project, out now, demonstrates a sound that feels both elevated and firmly rooted in the spirit of their home, the Lone Star State.
Produced by Jedd Hughes, the EP blends the Texas band’s classic country sound that has influenced generations of country artists for over 20 years, including Parker McCollum, William Beckmann, Flatland Calvery, Koe Wetzel, and more.

Highlights on the collection include previously released tracks like “Break Itself”, the collaborative “Is This Thing Workin’” with Parker McCollum, and the title track. With each of these songs, along with the remaining three tracks – “Missing You,” “Same Place Twice,” and “We Ain’t Right” – Randy Rogers Band leans into themes of love, loss, and life on the road. Their rich harmonies elevate the heartfelt storytelling wrapped in timeless Texas grit.

Speaking on the project, Rogers reflected on how the EP captures the realization that life’s richest moments aren’t always found in chasing what’s next, but instead, in appreciating what’s right in front of you. He explained that The Going serves as both a nod to the band’s past and a reminder to stay present in the current chapter of their journey.
“The Going, it’s all about the journey. The ride,” Rogers told Country Now. “Realizing that the pot at the end of the rainbow is actually right at your front door. After 25 years in this business, I feel like I can speak to that truth. What you wish for and what you actually have aren’t for too far apart.”
The title track especially tackles this message as the band tells a cinematic, dreamlike story about an unforgettable late-night encounter. It opens with a musician packing up after another small-town gig that didn’t earn him any money, in an effort to try to make a living doing what he loves. Then a stranger, described as a cowboy, enters the scene, asking the musician for a ride. What begins as a simple favor turns into a fleeting moment that sends the reminder that the true value in life isn’t always found in the destination, but rather in the journey itself.
“Sometimes it ain’t what ya know/ It’s the way you get knowing/ It ain’t so much the getting to/ As much as it’s the going,” the band sings on the enchanting chorus.
The legendary group spend many dates on the road this year supporting fellow Texas native, Parker McCollum. Although that trek has come to an end, Randy Rogers Band still has a slew of shows scheduled throughout November and December.

Lee Brice is back with his third release of the year, “Killed The Man.” This isn’t your typical love song, but it does it hit hard both sonically and emotionally. Following its October 31st release, the haunting, reflective track was most-added at country radio, proving once again that Brice knows how to captivate listeners with his unique storytelling.
Written by Michael Whitworth, Troy Cartwright, and Jared Conrad, and produced by Brice alongside Ben Glover and Jerrod Niemann, the moody song tells the story of a man looking back at the person he once was and recognizing the emotional transformation he’s undergone since a certain woman came into his life.

The opening lyrics find the country star illustrating what appears to be a depiction of a murder. He alludes to a case that has “gone cold” after a woman killed a man and left his body somewhere no one will find.
Brice sings, “They’ll never find the body/ She didn’t leave a trace/ You’d never know she’s guilty/ Judging by the smile on her face/ But ain’t nobody seen him/ The case has gone cold/ It ain’t much of a secret when everybody knows.”

However, as the song goes on, it’s clear that the story takes on a new life. On the surface, it paints a chilling scene, but the metaphor of the lyrics actually runs much deeper. The “murder” represents the transformation of a man whose old self has been erased by love. The imagery mirrors the emotional weight of leaving behind who you once were when someone helps you become a better version of yourself.
“She killed the man/ I swear she did/ And she’s gonna get away with it/ Ain’t on the run, but there’s evidence/ You know she left some fingerprints/ People say I look like him but act completely different/ She buried him, married me/ She killed the man I used to be,” he continues onto the chorus of the country-rock tune.
The overarching message that listeners take away doesn’t necessarily have to be about a love story. It can also speak to anyone who has felt the call to make a change in their life. Brice admits he felt that kind of empowerment the first time he listened to the narrative and insanely felt drawn to record it.
“When I first heard this song, it made me look back at my own life and see the man who I was isn’t the man I am today,” he stated. “I think the message is something anyone can relate to as we all strive to evolve and grow through life and its challenges. For me, ‘Killed The Man’ captures that stripping away of the ego to become who God intended me to be, leaning into family, faith, and something bigger than myself.”
“Killed The Man” follows Lee Brice’s first two releases of 2025, his radio single “Cry,” and the star-studded “Said No Country Boy Ever,” where he teamed up with country legends Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Jerrod Niemann, Dallas Davidson, and Rob Hatch (aka The Trailer Park). Even more music is expected to be on the way from Brice.

Jelly Roll is in Australia for the first time on his Down Under Tour 2025. While in Sydney, he tried to take a little time to check out the city and do some shopping, but things didn’t go quite as planned.
In a candid new video shared to the superstar’s Instagram story, he revealed that he and his crew were met with a bit of hostile energy and that he was treated like a “criminal” at the city’s Louis Vuitton store. Jelly Roll was still able to laugh off the judgments as he explained the situation.

“Hey man, the Louis Vuitton in Sydney legitimately just treated us like we were fixing to come and rob that place,” he said with a laugh. “I have never been looked at more like a…listen, the last time I was looked at like a criminal this bad, I was an actual criminal this bad.”
Back in September, while visiting the Vatican City in Rome, Jelly Roll turned heads in a stylish ensemble featuring a silky green button-down paired with a sleek navy Louis Vuitton jacket. At the time, he shared that being able to fit into the luxury brand’s clothing was a big milestone in his weight loss journey, and he joked that he planned to start shopping there more often.
“I can fit in Louis Vuitton now. Pray for my bank account,” he wrote.
Aside from the judgmental looks he still receives to this day, the “Liar” singer has put in a lot of work to redeem himself and to turn his life around from his criminal days. Unfortunately, this part of his past run-ins with the law and criminal record still find a way to impact him and his current career.
This has been especially difficult when it comes to international travel. It took some extra work for him to perform outside the U.S., but now, he’s able to bring his music to fans across Australia and New Zealand and he’s making sure to soak up every second of it.
His latest Down Under trek launched on October 25 at the Strummingbird Festival in the Sunshine Coast. From there, he made stops in Adelaide, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth and Sydney. The final remaining date of the run will take place on November 8 in Aukland at the Outer Fields At Western Springs.
Upon landing in Australia, he shared a special message for fans, expressing how much it means to him to finally be able to share his music with a new part of the world.
“I’m so excited y’all. This is big for me. Those of y’all that don’t know, my first time ever coming to Australia, it’s a really huge deal for me.”
According to his Instagram, he has used his trip to see as much as possible and he’s even made sure to take part in some Australian traditions like having his drummer do a shoey on stage.
Next up on his list of tour stops is a visit to Mexico City for the Corona Capital festival. A full list of Jelly Roll’s upcoming performances can be found on his website.

Reba McEntire and her fiancé, Rex Linn, aren’t in a rush to tie the knot, and when they do, the couple’s big day will be anything but traditional.
The Happy’s Place stars recently sat down with E! News to chat about the show and share a little about their wedding plans. While they haven’t locked in a date just yet, Reba says the celebration will reflect their personalities and the things they love most.
“It’ll be a lot of fun,” Reba shared. “It’s gonna be a nontraditional wedding because that’s Rex and me.”

McEntire and Linn want their wedding day to feel like them rather than a formal, stuffy affair.
“We like comfort, we love friends, we love food,” Reba explained.
Linn, who proposed to Reba on Christmas Eve 2024, echoed that sentiment, emphasizing that they are enjoying every moment of their engagement before getting into wedding planning mode.
“What we’re doing right now honestly is enjoying our engagement time,” he told E! News. “We haven’t set a date, we’re just going to enjoy our engagement and enjoy going to Happy’s Place every day.”
The couple co-stars in the NBC sitcom alongside Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, and Tokala Black Elk. Linn says they love spending time together, on the set and off.
“We love being around one another,”he continued. “We like going to work, we like coming home from work. We can’t wait to go back the next day. Our relationship in real life has enhanced our scenes where we’re together because we’re a lot more comfortable. It makes it a lot better for us.”

Happy’s Place returns for its second season this Friday, November 7. In Season two, Happy’s Place swings its doors open once again, but a long-hidden secret threatens to turn the tavern upside down and test the bonds of loyalty. Amid the chaos, Bobbie [McEntire] is there to remind everyone that family isn’t just who you’re born to, it’s the people who stand by you, even on the job.
Of the show, Linn shared, “Season two we’re just growing up a little bit…They’ve found our voices and we’re exploring each character’s personal life a bit.”
Happy’s Place Season 2 premieres Friday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and will be available the next day on Peacock.

Treaty Oak Revival is set to release their third studio album, West Texas Degenerate, on Friday, November 28.
The five-piece band from Odessa, Texas will self-release the project following a fan-first album announcement shared last Friday.
“This album is about growth, coming of age, overcoming adversity, and the concept that even though your hometown may not define you, it will always be a part of you, wherever you may land,” lead vocalist and lyricist Sam Canty shared in a statement. “We want this record to bring Treaty Oak and small-town West Texas living to the world.”

West Texas Degenerate dives deep into the heart of West Texas, painting a raw, unfiltered picture of life out there — the highs, the heartbreak, the struggle, and the grit it takes to keep going. It’s a collection of stories about everyday people just trying to make it through, told with honesty and an edge that hits hard.

The man who killed Tray Savage received a 29-year prison sentence after entering a guilty plea for the murder, bringing closure to a saga that had lasted five years.
Tray Savage had been signed to Chief Keef‘s record label at the time of his death, marking another tragic loss in Chicago’s Hip-Hop scene.
Demitri Jackson, who authorities say was affiliated with the same street organization as Tray Savage, was identified through surveillance footage that captured his distinctive walking pattern before and after the fatal shooting.
The investigation stretched across state lines when Jackson fled to Fort Worth, Texas, where he was eventually apprehended in 2021 on a murder warrant.
Cook County prosecutors have remained tight-lipped about the specific circumstances that led to the deadly confrontation between the two men. The case took nearly five years to reach resolution, with Jackson finally accepting responsibility for the crime through his guilty plea to one count of murder.
The sentence requires Jackson to serve the full 29 years without the possibility of early release, ensuring he will remain behind bars well into his middle age. The conviction represents a significant victory for law enforcement in a city where many Hip-Hop-related homicides go unsolved.
His association with Chief Keef’s label had positioned him for potential mainstream success before his life was cut short by street violence.

Sean “Diddy” Combs spent his 56th birthday on Tuesday (November 4), eating navy beans and green vegetables inside the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey, a stark departure from the champagne-soaked parties that once defined his life.
The former Bad Boy Records head, known for lavish celebrations and luxury, marked the occasion with standard-issue prison meals.
According to People, facility meal schedules indicate that breakfast began around 6:30 a.m., featuring cereal, fruit and bread topped with margarine.
Lunch, served between 11:00 a.m. and noon, offers chicken parmesan or a chickpea burger, accompanied by sides of pasta in marinara sauce and spinach. Garlic bread or whole wheat bread was on deck, along with fruit or a dessert item.
Dinner wrapped the day with cheese pizza or a second helping of navy beans, paired with Italian pasta salad, green beans and a basic garden salad with dressing options.
Diddy, who was convicted in July on two federal counts of transporting individuals for prostitution, began serving his 50-month sentence at Fort Dix after being moved from Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center on October 30.
His legal team had raised concerns about the conditions at the Brooklyn facility and requested access to substance abuse treatment programs.
The transfer placed the Hip-Hop mogul at Fort Dix, a low-security prison about 40 miles from Philadelphia, on a military base.
There, he now lives in dorm-style housing with other inmates. The commissary offers limited comforts, including $1.07 cheesecake squares, $1.30 honey buns and $2.85 Pop-Tarts.
One item missing from the menu is applesauce—something Diddy was known to enjoy on cheeseburgers during his time outside, according to court testimony.
His attorney, Alexandra Shapiro, filed an appeal on October 20. On Monday (November 3), U.S. Circuit Court Judge Beth Robinson approved an expedited review. Oral arguments are scheduled for April 2026.
Diddy’s projected release date is May 8, 2028, however, an early release remains possible with good behavior.
