Riley Green has taken fan participation at his shows to a whole new level, often giving concertgoers the chance to step into the spotlight for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. That trend continued overseas during his Damn Country Music Tour stop at the O2 Academy Glasgow on Tuesday, September 16, where one lucky fan’s dream came true.
The fan named Jordan Petrie, hailing from Dundee in the UK, had been sharing TikTok videos ahead of the concert, documenting her search for the perfect outfit for the concert. In the process, she revealed her bold plan to ask Green during a meet-and-greet if she could sing Ella Langley’s part in their hit duet, “You Look Like You Love Me” on stage that night.
While she works as beautician in her daily life and does not pursue music professionally, she explained to Country Now that singing is her passion. In another TikTok video she revealed that in addition to singing she is also learning to play guitar. Determined to make her on-stage dream happen with Riley Green, Jordan began manifesting the opportunity, which led her to the moment she finally got to speak with him in the meet & greet.
“I’d seen him pull up fans to sing at his concerts in the US so I thought, how can I do this?! I got M&G tickets and thought it would be a perfect opportunity to ask.”

“I went to the M&G and he was very polite- shakes your hand, says hi then poses for a picture. I then said to him, ‘can I sing with you tonight?’ And he said, ‘you like to sing?’ And I said, ‘I love to sing!’ He said ‘ok what do you want to sing?’ And I asked to sing a different song called ‘Don’t Mind If I Do,’ but he said he had Hannah [McFarland] for that his support act,” she recalled.
Her perseverance ended up paying off in a big way. In a slew of videos that have since surfaced online, Green is seen calling Jordan to join him on stage, where she confidently delivered the tune alongside the country star. Before their performance the Alabama native asked her name and jokingly suggested she might have to translate for the crowd with her Glasgow accent. However, Jordan revealed she’d be singing in her best American accent instead.
@jordanpetriebeauty Last night a dream came true for me. Thank you Mr @Riley Green 💚 🤠 🇺🇸 My friend is screaming in this video so I do apologise 😂 and I couldn’t hear a thing so hopefully I wasn’t too off key!! Haha @Big Machine #rileygreen #o2academyglasgow #excusemeyouloveme ♬ original sound – Jordan Petrie -The Singing MUA
While she appeared confident on stage, Jordan admitted she was very nervous about forgetting the words, despite the fact that she claims to frequently belt out the lyrics in the car. Still, she gave it her all and delivered a performance that left fans in awe.
“I just thought to myself you’ve just got to go up there and have fun! When are you ever going to do this again?!”

Making her way off stage after that unforgettable moment in front of the biggest crowd she’s ever sang to, Jordan was reunited with her cousin, Shawni McLeod, who was crying tears of joy in the crowd.
“My cousin Shawni McLeod came with me and it was amazing to have her there. When I came off stage she was sobbing.”
This epic moment took place during Riley Green’s Damn Country Music Tour. This isn’t the first time that the Alabama native has been inspired to bring a fan on stage for an impromptu performance. Jordan recommends that anyone hoping to live out their dreams in the way she did should do their best to get in line early in order to make it close to the stage in an effort to get Green’s attention or even better, score a meet and greet for the chance to ask him face to face.
“I had the best time, it was amazing,” she added in a new video explaining the entire night in detail.
A full list of his remaining tour dates can be found on his official website.

Cole Swindell is giving fans a first listen to a moving new ballad that may be one of his most powerful releases yet. The country star has taken to social media to share preview “Make Heaven Crowded,” a song that calls attention to the state of the world while urging listeners to choose kindness, compassion, and faith over violence.
In a recent clip, Swindell suggests that the inspiration for the title came from a statement made recently by Erika Kirk, wife of the late conservative activist and Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk. Speaking for the first time after her husband’s death, Erika delivered a touching tribute in which she said, “Charlie, you are alongside Jesus right now, doing what you always wanted to do. Making heaven crowded, right? That’s what it’s all about.”
Her powerful words clearly struck a chord with Swindell and inspired him to share a few thoughts of his own through his music.
Another video posted by Swindell poses the question, “Anyone else been feeling this way?” before the song begins. He added in the caption, “Can you imagine what this world would look like if we were all just good to each other?,” thus setting the stage for the heartfelt message behind the track.
With a tender melody filled with delicate guitar strums, the new song finds the Georgia native delivering a call to action that urges people to come together and form a more compassionate world in hopes of eliminating what feels like a constant string of violence. The repeated “what if” questions throughout the tune also makes listeners reflect on how their actions affect others around them.
Swindell uses vivid imagery to show the contrasts between what the world is and what it could be while simultaneously speaking from the heart as he admits to his own shortcomings.
“I’ve blamed my sinning on ‘I ain’t no saint/ I’ve bit my tongue said that it ain’t my place/ And I’ve kept Jesus in the backseat’ But I can’t any longer/ After what we all saw last week/ I can’t help but wonder/ What if churches had a longer line outside than all them bars on Friday night/ What if people prayed for people who ain’t on their side/ What if good ran off the bad/ Them streets of gold up there’d be packed/ This whole world would look a lot better than we found it/ If we make heaven crowded,” he sings on the chorus.
The song comes in the wake of recent devastating events, including Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Swindell joins several other country artists in using his platform to speak out and inspire hope for a better world.

An official release date for “Make Heaven Crowded” has yet to be shared, however a few new clips from fans suggests that Cole Swindell is already playing the song on the road.
The “Happy Hour Sad” singer is currently in the midst of his 2025 headlining Happy Hour Sad Tour which kicked off on September 4 in Toledo, OH and runs through October 26 with stops across Georgia, Colorado, Washington, Florida and more.

Thomas Rhett is rolling into album release week for About A Woman (Deluxe) with a brand-new single that’s already taking over the airwaves. After going for adds on September 22, “Ain’t A Bad Life” featuring Jordan Davis became the most added song on country radio this week.
The song, penned by Rhett with John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Blake Pendergrass and Mark Trussell, was released in July as part of the second addition to About A Woman. The deluxe edition of the project is set to drop Friday, Sept. 26.
While speaking to Country Now, Rhett noted that “Ain’t A Bad Life” was one of the first songs that came to life when he started writing for his latest project. It all started with the line, “I didn’t win the lotto, but the dawgs won” and from there, it blossomed into a story about gratitude for what you’ve been given in life.

Rhett shined a light on his and Davis’ tight-knit friendship that’s rooted in family life, shared hobbies and a mutual respect for each other’s artistry. That genuine bond translates seamlessly into their collaboration, making the track feel like two friends swapping stories.
“Me and Jordan have just become really, really close over the last year, whether that’s through having a bunch of kids or we duck hunt together, we see each other a lot,” Rhett explained. “This song just sounded like a Jordan song to me. And me and him had never done a collaboration before…I think it’s going to be a good one for both of us to be able to play separately on the road, and hopefully we get to play this thing together at some point in time.”
This news follows the Tennessee-raised artist’s streak of success, including his 24th career No. 1 with the album’s lead single “Beautiful As You” and three-week chart-topper “After All The Bars Are Closed.”
The 25-track project will feature three final additions on Friday with “Water,” “Chapter 10” and “On A River.” These remaining tracks further emphasize Rhett’s dedication to writing songs that tap into his vulnerable side through stories of faith and true love. Throughout the entire collection, listeners will experience a mix of slow-burning passionate tunes and high-energy, dance-worth anthems that are sure to shine during Rhett’s live shows.
Fans can pre-save the album on all streaming services ahead of Friday and pre-order the album on CD and vinyl ahead of its October 3 release HERE.

Along with the big release ahead, Thomas Rhett will be heading into the final weekend of his BETTER IN BOOTS TOUR. After a summer full of epic shows across the country that included a massive sold-out headlining debut at Fenway Park, the run will come to a close with back-to-back dates across Washington on Sept. 25 and Sept. 26 followed by a final stop in Mountain View, CA on Sept. 27.
Next up, Thomas Rhett will return to Fontainebleau Las Vegas for two nights this October, bringing his must-see live show to one of Vegas’s most iconic new venues.

Michael Bublé, Niall Horan, Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg are back in the coaching chairs, ready to guide a new round of contestants through Season 28 of NBC’s The Voice. To kick things off, all four of the coaches came together to deliver a spectacular performance of Steve Miller Band’s “The Joker” in front of a live audience. Prior to taking the stage, the star-studded group of singers took viewers behind-the-scenes to share how they prepared for their collaboration.
“We’re singing ‘The Joker’ by the Steve Miller Band, which is one of my favorite songs of all time so this is gonna be good,” Horan noted.

During their the rehearsals, the coaches got to catch up with members of the singing competition crew, including the performance producers, band leaders and other members of the band, and work out the final kinks before showtime.
“Okay, so this was our sound check for our coaches’ performance,” McEntire explained to the camera. “We came up here, we’ve got our in-ears on. We checked the balance with the band, in-ears okay, and now we’re going to get out of here and let the audience come in and we’ll come back and do it again. Stay tuned.”
The venue quickly flooded with a lucky group of fans who got the first look at the type of energy that will fill the chairs for Season 28. They screamed in anticipation as the coaches were welcomed to the stage.
“Time for the real thing. No more practice, no more rehearsals,” Bublé pointed out with confidence and excitement oozing from his voice.
The lights shined bright across the stage as the audience clapped and sang along with the powerful performance, featuring a set of voices that spans a wide-variety of genres.
Season 28 of The Voice returns to the screen tonight, September 22. The blind auditions will begin during the show’s all-new, two-hour premiere airing at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock. Viewers can come back on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at the same time to catch another round of hopeful performers and find out who makes the cut.
The fresh mix of four coaches will also return to their seats and begin building out their teams. They will be joined by host Carson Daly, who has served in his role on the show since it debuted in 2011.
Bublé, who stands as the reigning champion, will return for his third season while Snoop Dogg takes on his role as a coach for the second time. The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper made his The Voice debut in Season 26, and is currently the only coach on the panel who has not earned a win yet.
Meanwhile, Horan took a brief hiatus from the show after coaching Seasons 23 and 24. During his previous runs on the show, he scored back-to-back wins with Gina Miles and Huntley.
The final coach for this season is McEntire, who is no stranger to The Voice. She first joined in Season 24 and stayed a part of the show for Seasons 25 and 26. She was victorious in Season 25 with Asher HaVon and is now hoping to come out as the winning coach for yet another year.
This year’s competition will continue to air Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC throughout the season.

Jodeci are continuing their 30th anniversary celebrations for 1995’s The Show, The Afterparty, The Hotel with a collection of remastered videos, available now on YouTube. The videos include the album hit “Love U 4 Life,” alongside “Come & Talk To Me,” “Feenin’,” “Stay,” and “Let’s Go Through The Motions.”
The video for “Love U 4 Life,” the beloved wedding anthem, of course features a trip down the aisle. Shots intersperse scenes of a wedding with the group performing in front of the night skyline in matching white suits. The video for “Stay” also features some matching all-white ensembles. It’s more of a straightforward performance video, but it’s full of 90s style and charm.
“Come & Talk To Me” gets two videos: one for the original mix, and one for the hip-hop remix. The original mix resembles the simple feel of “Stay,” but the hip-hop remix features an elaborate poolside setup, beautiful love interests, and comically large 90s landlines. The video for “Feenin’” is the most elaborate of the bunch, opening with a short skit before transitioning into a series of dream sequences experienced by the members as they are trapped lovesick in a mental institution.
Emerging as one of the definitive R&B acts of their era, Jodeci brought a hard edge to the genre, pushing the limits of R&B with the often raw and deeply sexual content of their music and favoring a hip-hop-informed presentation involving baseball caps, sports jerseys, and military boots. The then-unconventional styling fueled Jodeci’s reputation as the “bad boys of R&B”—an antithesis to smooth, clean-cut acts like Boyz II Men.
In celebration of The Show, The Afterparty, The Hotel’s 30th anniversary, the album is being pressed to vinyl again for the first time since its original release. The 2LP black vinyl release is housed in a standard capacity jacket mirroring the original tracklist.
