Meghan Markle Skewered by Royalists for ‘Vulgar’ Visit to Diana’s Grave

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Late last week, Meghan Markle shared cozy photos of her kids.

She and Prince Harry had spent days at Princess Diana’s childhood home, and Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet enjoyed the sprawling family estate.

Cute, right?

Wrong! Royalists are accusing the duchess of being “obscene” and “vulgar.” Why?

Family visit or ‘obscene’ PR move?

For a quick recap, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent a few days earlier in July spending time on the Spencer family’s ancestral estate.

Harry and Meghan have been invited to Althorp before.

Unlike Harry’s paternal relatives, who have been extra weird in recent years, the couple seem to get along well with the Spencers.

Photos showed Prince Archie, who is 7, and Princess Lilibet, who is 5, exploring the sprawling property.

It was cute and sweet … unless you have a very specific agenda. Royalists, for example, have a very specific agenda.

What issue do Royalists have? Well, ostensibly, these Instagram photos amounted to a desecration of Diana’s memory.

See, Princess Diana is buried on a private island on the Althorp estate.

Meghan and Harry did not share any photos of Harry’s mother’s resting place. They did not mention (or “name-drop”) Diana at all.

Instead, they shared snaps of their children walking in the grass. Grass which royalists might care to touch.

The Althorp estate is 13,000 acres. That makes the property over 20 times the size of Monaco. Monaco is a country.

Did they exploit Princess Diana without mentioning her or showing her gravesite?

Or, as The Daily Mail writer Maureen Callahan puts it, “obscene.”

“Diana was buried on that island, at her family’s private residence, precisely to keep her gravesite from becoming a circus, a tourist attraction, a commodity,” the article claims.

We have to emphasize that parts of Althorp are generally open to the public, though not Diana’s gravesite. The estate was closed for a couple of days in early July to accommodate Harry and Meghan and their children.

“For Meghan to share this, in my opinion, is beyond callous,” the article declares. “It’s vulgar.”

The article brands Harry as “traitorous” and says that these sweet family photos “sparked revulsion online and among good people everywhere.”

What’s going on?

Well, to be blunt, certain people are outraged by Meghan whenever she does anything. Or when other people simply speak about her in a positive or neutral tone.

It doesn’t sound reasonable because it isn’t. We cannot explain it logically because it is not logical.

However, in this case, there may be real royal sentiments that are opposed to Meghan and Harry and this trip.

It’s clear that the Spencers are more welcoming to Harry and Meghan than the Windsors. What better way to mask this fact than by drumming up outrage over … we’re not really sure.

Taking pictures of their kids a few miles from Diana’s resting place? Unforgivable, it seems.

Scotty McCreery Gives Update On His Sons, Teases New Music Inspired by Life Experiences

Scotty McCreery is sharing an update on fatherhood, new music, and what fans can expect next in a new interview with Country Countdown USA.

The North Carolina native recently celebrated a major career milestone with the release of 15, a career retrospective album featuring nine of his biggest hits along with four new recordings. The capsule collection is available now on vinyl, CD, and digitally in honor of McCreery’s 15th anniversary as a recording artist.

While discussing the project, McCreery opened up about life at home with his two sons, Merrick Avery and Oliver Cooke. The proud dad shared that Avery has embraced his role as a big brother and is enjoying showing his younger sibling the ropes.

“Avery is awesome, he loves to teach his brother things. Avery’s into sports and wonders, ‘Why can’t Ollie do this with me?’ Avery is a ham, so if he sees Ollie making people laugh, he’ll jump in and try to make people laugh too,” McCreery shared.

As for Oliver, who turns one on September 18, McCreery joked that his youngest son is close to taking his first steps…but isn’t quite there yet.

“Not yet, but he’s starting to rock back and forth. Maybe next time we talk, he’ll be on the go. But at the moment it’s just too much weight to move,” he said. “We got our hands full in all the best ways. When the day ends, we just appreciate the blessings we have. It’s crazy, but amazing time in the house right now.”

Along with balancing tour dates and family life, McCreery is already looking ahead to his next chapter of music. The singer revealed that a new full-length album is in the works and that he plans to return to the studio soon.

“I’m itching to get back in the studio to make a full-length album. I’ll be back in the studio in a month or two. I’ve been writing songs for that. Can’t wait for folks to hear what we’re working on,” he said.

While McCreery kept details about the upcoming project under wraps, he revealed that some of his most personal experiences have helped inspire new songs, including tributes to his beloved dog Moose and his late grandmothers.

“We’ve got a song written about my dog Moose. I didn’t go into the session looking for a dog song, but I’m so glad it happened. I’m pretty sure that song will make the album,” he shared. “I also wrote a story song about my grandmothers. I lost both of them last year. So if ‘Five More Minutes’ was for my grandfather, then this song is more touching on my grandmothers.”

With plenty of new stories to tell and new music on the way, McCreery is bringing fans along as he enters the next chapter of his career.

Who Is Rams DT Kobie Turner? L.A.’s ‘Conductor’ Ready To Lead Super Team Over The Hump

LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Kobie Turner understands the assignment for this season. Turner, nicknamed “The Conductor” for his musical acumen, is the defensive co-captain for a team that’s not only considered the heavy favorite to win the Super Bowl, but also on one of the most talented rosters assembled in recent years. How will Turner handle those high expectations? What does he make of playing alongside the otherworldly Myles Garrett and the possibility of playing again with future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald? I asked Turner those questions and more following one of the Rams’ first training camp practices as the standout defensive tackle looks to play a big role in Los Angeles’ run for a Lombardi Trophy this season. What was your focus this offseason after the way things ended last year? Turner: It’s always continuing to get better. Getting some footwork training in, making sure my hands are continuing to be sharp, continuing to understand the game and let those opportunities come to me. Really, each offseason is about getting faster and stronger. And then I did a lot of vision training too, being able to see the game early. The more that I can see things that connect my eyes to my hands and my hands to my body, the more I’ll be able to start faster. Vision training sounds different. What’s that like? They have these goggles that blink for short periods of time, and then you can turn them up and have them blink for longer periods of time, catching bean bags and calling which color and which color corresponds to your hand. And these three-color sticks will have blue, red and yellow. And then another one will have white, black and green on it, or something like that. They throw random sticks, and you have to call out a specific color as you catch the stick while I have on the goggles. It’s just little stuff like that, because when it comes down to the trenches, obviously it’s a lot of violence, just getting off the rock and running into people. But it’s so technical, and the more your eyes can see, the better off you’ll be. It’s just being able to see things clearly and locking in my eyes. Especially on the first day, your eyes are going to be out of whack with everyone flying around. But the more you can focus your eyes in on what you’re seeing and the more you can use film study to be able to anticipate what you’re going to see, that helps. Have you changed your weight at all? I’ve been within a 10-pound range since I’ve been here. I’ve always been staying within a 290 to 300-pound range. And I feel really comfortable playing there. What was your initial reaction when you heard about the Myles Garrett trade? It was a very hard day. Obviously, Jared Verse is one of our brothers and a very good teammate. So that was a tough thing to process. But then you get the opportunity to work with a generational talent, a guy who just broke the sack record and more than anything, is just a good guy. Now we’re finally getting a chance to work with each other, me being able to get reps in camp and him being able to get reps in camp, we’re going to continue to build up that camaraderie so we can rush four as one. It’s obviously exciting times when you’re able to work with one of the best in the world. Anything that’s surprised you with Garrett being out on the field since he’s been here? I didn’t really have too many expectations. I’ve been following his journey a little bit and his personality too, and he always just seemed like a down-to-earth guy. So, I’m just continuing to get to know him. I don’t think there’s been too much that’s surprised me. To be able to get to that caliber of player, you have to put in the work daily. And obviously that’s something he’s been able to do. He’s a talented individual, but he works hard, so I have a lot of appreciation for that. And I’m just continuing to learn from him. Along with Garrett, you added significant pieces on defense with cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson. How do you handle high expectations for the defense? It’s the same story as always, right? We have to be inside-out more than ever. Before, it was people not really believing in us. I remember coming in my rookie year in 2023 and nobody thought we could do too much of anything, and we went and showed the world differently. So, it’s always been about being inside-out. We know we have a lot of returning guys from last year, but it’s also a different group. So, that’s what training camp is for, being able to build that rapport and that camaraderie, but also being able to continue to lock in. But really, a lot of our returning guys — whether it be from last year or before — we’ve built up the work. We know the mental toughness that it requires. We know the resiliency that it requires, so it will be continuing to put that on display. The outside world doesn’t matter. The last time I checked, nobody won a Super Bowl in July. It’s the NFL, man. Nobody is walking out there winning a Super Bowl or winning however many games. Expectations don’t really mean anything. It’s about what we do day in and day out, putting ourselves in position to take advantage of each opportunity we have on Sundays — or I guess every day of the week since we’re playing every day of the week (laughs). What was your reaction to losing the NFC Championship Game to the Seahawks in Seattle? When I tore my calf, really during that time when I was trying to see if I could go back on the field, that’s when I processed all the hurt of, ‘Man, I’m not playing in this game.’ And when the finality of the game hit, it obviously took awhile to process that our season was over. We really thought we could go win the whole thing last year, and we really believed that we were a couple plays away, but that’s what this league is. But I also remember something I felt so strongly was just the gratitude of the journey that we’d been on. We talk about so often the process and the journey. Taking time to pay attention to each and every step. And that’s what you remember. You don’t always remember the outcome of specific games. But you remember the guys that you were with and the journey you went on. And then we’ve got that rivalry with the Seahawks. We’ve got them two times this year, two times to go against last year’s Super Bowl champions. That’s going to be a super-exciting two games, and another opportunity to show why we believe we’re the best in the world, and go put that on display just by being more inside-out than ever and putting in the daily deposits that’s going to lead us to success when it comes game time. You mention the calf injury. I’m assuming you’re fully healthy since you’re out here on the field? Yes, I’m feeling great. I would be remiss if I didn’t ask about Aaron Donald’s potential return. You had an opportunity to play with him as a rookie and know what that looks like. What are your thoughts on the possibility of playing with him again? He’s a guy who’s taken me under his wing, obviously, my rookie year and even after that. He’s provided me with so many connections with people I feel have influenced me and helped me perfect my craft. He’s such a solid dude and good friend. Obviously, the possibility of him coming back out is really exciting to me. I remember when my rookie season ended and we were at the Lions, I felt back then that I really wanted to bring home a [Super] Bowl for him. And at that time I was just a rookie; I really didn’t know what the work looked like and what was required. But I was willing to put in the work. And here we are as a team a little more experienced. So, it would be a great opportunity [to have Donald return]. Your guess is as good as mine. But he’s a guy who works hard. He’s the right type of guy. That possibility is super exciting, and I’m also super excited with this team as we have it. However it shakes out, I’m excited for the journey we’re going on with these guys. A lot of people have talked about Donald’s impact on game days, but what would it mean for your group having him at the facility every day? Nothing can compare to his career. It’s a storied career, but I just think about personally how much he helped me out. The confidence that was instilled in my rookie year, being able to work alongside him. He put me in contact with Poodie (Rams defensive line trainer Albert “Poodie” Carson). I’ve been working with him ever since. I’m super excited about the possibility. But this type of thing doesn’t work with this type of team without somebody being as great on the field as he is off the field. If that does happen, that would be a reason why it’s successful.”Latest Sports News from FOX Sports

He says the album came together naturally as certain songs began to raise their hands and signaling that they belonged together. As more stories fell into place, the vision for the project became clearer and clearer.

“It’s funny how records show you who they are,” Chesney shared. “And Silver Sands Marina came together in a whole other way when we found the title track, and a couple others. When we went in and cut those last three tracks, I realized: it’s like a rock in your shoe, it’ll bother you until it’s right when you’re dealing in songs. But when it’s right, you know.”

Following the release of his current Top 10 country radio single, “Carry On” and the reflective title track, Chesney is readying fans for a project centered around honesty and embracing life’s highs and lows.

“Some of these songs are unlike anything people have heard, or haven’t heard in a long time,” he admits “Some of them go deep, some of them will make people turn it up, a few will make them laugh… But, together, I think they’ll remind them how great it is to be alive. Even on days where you need a song like ‘Carry On,’ we’re making the best of what we’ve got.”

Today’s announcement unveils the titles of the remaining unreleased tracks set to be featured on the album, including three collaborations: “Goldfish” featuring Lily Meola, “It Just Got Weird” featuring Megan Moroney and “What We Got Going On” featuring Colbie Caillat.

Nolan Wells Was ‘Drinking Heavily’ Before Tragic Death, Friends Say

Reading Time: 2 minutes

There has been a new update in the tragic case of Nolan Wells.

The circumstances of the teenager’s death remain shrouded in mystery.

However, a claim that he was “drinking heavily” has come to light.

Does that tell us how he died?

A memorial portrait of Nolan Wells in 2026.

‘Drinking heavily with friends’

18-year-old Wells vanished after partying with friends on July 4, 2026.

He was later found face-down, still in his swim trunks.

After two days in this state on the beach, his identity was confirmed with dental records.

Now, ABC News reports that witnesses told investigators that Wells was “drinking heavily with friends” during the fateful trip to Horn Island.

What does that tell us?

From the start, investigators have suspected that Wells may have died by drowning.

(He was found in swim trunks and along the beach.)

It is more likely for someone who has been drinking heavily, as Wells allegedly was, to drown accidentally.

Certainly, it is a preferable answer to someone having been struck hard enough to render them unconscious in the water or physically held underwater.

Those images of a homicide — deliberate or accidental — have plagued Wells’ loved ones and the general public since news first broke of his death. Is the case now over?

We need to wait for the toxicology report (among other things)

Obviously not.

For one thing, friends reporting that Wells was “drinking heavily” — those precise words coming by way of what searchers were informed when given a description of Wells on July 5 — doesn’t really tell us much.

Alcohol consumption impairs judgment and can cause someone to collapse.

A sufficiently intoxicated victim could certainly have accidentally slipped and fallen and been brought in by the tide. They could also have fallen asleep in the sand and been overtaken by high tide.

But we do not actually know how much alcohol may have been in Wells’ system when he died.

The Medical Examiner’s Office’s toxicology tests will be part of the official autopsy results. And those are still pending.

Mississippi authorities have believed that Wells drowned.

His family wants real answers. And so does the broader community.

A young Black man’s mysterious death is, too often in the history of our nation, not an accident. Everyone wants to be sure.

Even if Wells was drinking, that would potentially make it easier for an unknown adversary to surprise or overpower him, such as by striking him on the back of the head.

Whatever happened, Wells’ family deserves the truth. They deserve closure so that they can grieve in peace.
