Jason Aldean is turning heads with his brand-new single, “How Far Does A Goodbye Go,” out now and offering fans the first taste of his upcoming album.
The track tells the story of a man facing heartbreak and confusion after his partner leaves, unsure whether she’s stepping out for a short break or walking away for good. She says she’s headed to see her mom to clear her head, but after days without contact, he’s left drinking, smoking, and replaying everything in his mind, wondering if she’ll ever return.

“How far Does a goodbye go/ Is it down to a corner bar/ Or outta town in a getaway car/ If it’s on a map this cowboy’s gotta know/ Is it a couple miles away comin’ up the road or on a midnight train on a runaway track/ How far does a goodbye go/ Till it don’t come back,” he sings on the chorus.
Vocally, Aldean shines, sounding the strongest he has in years. The song feels like classic Aldean, taking fans back to the sound of “The Truth” and his Wide Open era.

Written by Aldean’s longtime collaborators Kurt Allison, John Edwards, Tully Kennedy, and John Morgan, “How Far Does A Goodbye Go” follows the Georgia native’s historic 30th career No. 1 at country radio.
Aldean says the song is “for anybody who has ever felt the sting of a breakup.”
The release of the song comes amid the reigning ACM Artist of the Decade’s Full Throttle Tour. Aldean recently surprised fans by adding nine new U.S. stops in 2026 with support from Nate Smith, Lanie Gardner, and Dee Jay Silver. Produced by Live Nation, the new run kicks off January 15 at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, AR.

Hannah McFarland is back with her first release since her debut EP Broken Hearts arrived in February. She makes her highly anticipated return with “Foolin’,” a brand-new duet featuring her current tour mate, Chase Rice.
Co-written by McFarland alongside Madison Kozak and Rivers Rutherford, and produced by Oscar Charles and Logan Wall, the fresh release further showcases the Alabama native’s gift for tenderhearted storytelling.

The track captures the emotions of two friends caught in an awkward in-between space, where they are both aware of the lingering attraction between them yet can’t bring themselves to actually admit it. “Foolin’” blends sunny harmonies with a touch of longing, leading to a chorus that playfully spills the secret everyone’s already feeling about the growing crush.
“Don’t wanna stay all night/ Don’t wanna go home now/ A couple drinks don’t mean/ We’re gonna knock a bottle out/ Yeah, we’re just catching up/ That’s all that’s going down/ In the morning this won’t be/ All we can think about/ We know what we’re doing/ But who are we foolin’?” they sing on the chorus.

McFarland and Rice have spent months building anticipation for the new drop among their fanbases. They accompanied the release with a retro style music video directed by Julia Robert and produced by The Core/Josh Robert. The visuals find the artists capturing candid moments in an old-fashioned analog photobooth that builds on the intimate and authentic energy among the lyrics.
The video opens with the two trading off snapping individual photos in the booth, but eventually they come together in front of the camera, taking shots of tequila and letting loose. The clip also features a surprise cameo from Rice’s adorable black Lab, Jack.
“Having Chase on this song not only gives it more life, but it gave me a chance to work with one of my close friends on a project that I was already excited about since the day it was written,” says McFarland. “Can’t wait to get ‘Foolin’’ out into the world!”
Rice also took the opportunity to gush over the songstress while explaining that he first heard the duet after the pair had written together for the first time. Not only does “Foolin’” mark their first time teaming up, but as the “Way Down Yonder” singer revealed, it also serves as the very first country song he has ever been featured on.
“The first time Hannah and I wrote together, we wrote a really badass song. I knew she was talented, but I gained a new level of respect for her after that day,” he notes. “A little later on, when she played me a song that I could tell she was really excited about and asked if it’s something I’d record with her, it was an obvious yes. It’s the first country song I’ve ever been featured on, and I love that Hannah asked me of all people to be a part of it.”
“Foolin’” adds to McFarland’s recent string of standout collaborations, including her recent feature on Riley Green’s “I Just Need You,” which appears on his Don’t Mind If I Do (Deluxe) album. She performed the new song with Rice last month at this year’s Boots and Hearts Music Festival in Ontario, Canada.

Hannah McFarland has stayed busy on the road this year and is showing no signs of slowing down. She recently joined Green for his UK and European dates and is now hitting the road with Chase Rice as part of his current tour. She’ll finish her run with Rice at the end of the month, then reunite with Green in November for a stretch of arena shows across the Midwest.
Gavin Adcock has publicly addressed his recent altercation with Zach Bryan at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, on September 13. The pair of artists have been involved in an ongoing feud for several months now, and over the weekend things nearly turned physical just before Adcock was scheduled to perform.
Following the video went viral online showcasing the moment Bryan jumped a face in an attempt to fight his fellow country act, Adcock appeared on the latest episode of Wake Up Barstool to share his perspective of the situation.
The feud between the singer/songwriters began back in July, when Adcock took to social media to call out Bryan’s response to a 14-year-old fan who expressed disappointment over not meeting him after a concert at MetLife Stadium.

At the time, Adcock wrote, “If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14-year-old old why do people idolize you? That kid was head over heels to meet you … you’re a ‘grown man’ nearly 30. They’re the only reason you are around.”
Bryan’s response to the young fan, which has since been deleted read, “You’re not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello,” adding the acronym “GOMD.”
After Bryan clearly didn’t take kindly to Adcock’s remarks, he used the festival as a chance to confront him directly. Speaking to Dave Portnoy, T-Bob Herbert and Brandon Walker about the entire situation, Gavin Adcock said, “I doubled down and then I guess he’d been sitting at home twiddling his thumbs, thinking about it for too long.”
He went on to explain that upon arriving to the festival, he was told by staff that Bryan, who appeared as a surprise guest to sing with Gabriella Rose, was planning to stop by during the event. Eventually, the “I Remember Everything” singer made his way to the back end of the festival and found Adcock hanging out by the busses.
“He comes in with his two security guards, big 6’4’’ guys, real tough guy, and sees me standing between the buses. We’re about to do a cold plunge. He said some stuff, walked on and then proceeded to linger around the bus for about an hour and a half while we were sitting in there watching some college football. And he finally left,” Adcock recalled.
However, he hadn’t seen the last of Bryan, because he later returned and this time, he was looking for a fight. A video posted to Adcock’s social media platforms show Bryan attempting to scale a barbed-wire fence to confront him. They started off with a heated exchange of words with the fence between them.
Bryan yelled, “You wanna fight like a man? Open the gate.”
Adcock captioned the clip, “When Sack Cryin sends you death threats before your hometown show.”
Although Adcock’s response can’t be heard, Bryan’s temper clearly elevates when he shoves the fence towards the country star. Security was then forced to intervene once Zach Bryan made his way to the other side of the fence.
“I wasn’t going to fight him because I had a show to play. I had business take care of hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line. 10,000 of his hometown fans out there screaming my name and screaming F him, which I thought was hilarious. And so yeah, I just basically talked to some dirt with him until he raged out and climbed over the fence,” Adcock explained.
Even if a fight would have broken out, Adcock didn’t appear to be worried about his ability to go up against Bryan.
“There was seven security guards standing around, not for only for my safety, but for his safety. And if I would’ve took off after him or he would’ve took off after me, the security guards were just going to grab us and not let us do anything,” he told the podcast hosts. “Plus I was just being the bigger man. Y’all like to call him the smallest man in the world. He seems to wear that fu**ing pretty good.”
Dave Portnoy, who has also had his fair share of beef with Bryan, matched Adcock’s dislike for the singer/songwriter, claiming “I think the guy’s a psychopath.”
Despite the drama, Gavin Adcock revealed that all the of the attention coming from this feud, both good and bad, has been a “blessing in disguise” for his career.
“People were talking in the comments about how I was going to lose followers. I’m like, nah, I’m up about 30,000 followers in two days on Instagram. The streams are going to look great this year. I just dropped the biggest album of my career, 24 songs. I’ve dropped a song a month since I started and I’m just coming after playing stadiums as well. So I hope we beat the attendance record in America when it’s all said and done.”
Gavin Adcock’s rise in success comes admit his Need To Tour. The trek launched in May and is set to run through December, with a final set of shows taking place Las Vegas, NV.
