Country comedian Cledus T. Judd is back at it, and his latest target is Riley Green. Known for his hilarious parodies of popular country songs, Judd has released a new track set to the melody of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” which pokes fun at Green’s looks, his music and his dating life.

The song opens with Judd declaring, “Excuse me, here’s my song about Riley,” a playful nod to Green and Ella Langley’s hit duet, “You Look Like You Love Me.” Soon after, the tune “Jolene” begins to play, as Judd’s cheeky lyrics come to life in a music video bursting with over-the-top energy, complete with low-fi graphics, animated hearts, flashing images of the country star, and humorous clips of Judd performing the track.

At first, Judd pleads for answers to understand the great appeal towards Green, but then he interjects, “I think I know already.” Judd goes on to compare the “Worst Way” singer bears a close resemblance to the Marlboro Man, noting, “Your handsomeness is beyond compare/ With suntanned skin and dark brown hair/ Hell you know that ain’t fair, Riley Green.”

After gushing over Green’s undeniably good looks, Judd takes a few lighthearted jabs at his dating life, singing, “I cannot reveal the source / But I heard you’re hung just like a horse / The rumor is, of course, of course, Riley Green,” before turning up the heat by adding, “So says Megan Moroney, just saying.”

Judd also gives a nod to speculation regarding a romance between Green and his duet partner, revealing how he “stole the heart of Ella Langley,” and draws attention to his accolades, including being voted People’s Sexiest Country Star.

The comedian humorously tries to compare himself to green, admitting that while he will never be at the singer’s level, he can proudly say that he’s kissed Shania Twain, only to be met with a pop-up of an image of Green accompanied by a skeptical text blurb that reads, “I don’t believe you.”

As the song full of roasts nears its end, Judd jokingly pleads with Green not to, “kick my butt because you can/ Otherwise I’ll sic Billy Ray cyrus on you.” Then, he switches his tone and declares himself Green’s “biggest fan” and proceeds to ask if he can get the chance to open for him sometime.

The video closes on a bittersweet note as Judd mourns, “Excuse me, why don’t I look like Riley?” His voice tinged with sadness, while a final collage of steamy images of Green fills the screen, leaving viewers laughing and swooning at the playful tribute.

Cledus T. Judd first entered the music scene in 1995 with “Indian In-Laws,” a parody of Tim McGraw’s 1994 hit “Indian Outlaw.” He made his first chart appearance in 2000 with “My Cellmate Thinks I’m Sexy,” a humorous take on Kenny Chesney’s “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy.” His biggest chart success came in 2004 with “I Love NASCAR,” a parody of Toby Keith’s “I Love This Bar.”

This is just a few of the comedic tracks Judd has released for his growing catalog. Over the years, he has also put his humorous spin on songs by Alan Jackson, Shania Twain, Joe Diffie, Faith Hill, Travis Tritt, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, and many more.

Alexandra Kay says she is happier than she’s ever been at this point in her life and a big part of that joy comes from her relationship with Rocko, her guitar player turned boyfriend.

Their love story grew naturally from years of working together. They started off just as friends and bandmates, but when Kay found herself single for the first time in 11 years, she started to see Rocko in a different light.

“I honestly, I didn’t look at him like that,” she admitted during a conversation with Joel Madden on Artist Friendly. “I always say I feel like I fell in love with him before I ever even liked him and had a crush him…it was just like, I loved him so much as a person, as a human, as a friend. And then when I started to feel that romantic connection and that attraction to him, like he was single and I was single at the same time. And I don’t know, we spent so much time together.”

It was Rocko’s kindness, humility, and passion that drew her in.

“He’s an incredible person. And to be completely honest, one night we were having beers backstage like one will do after a show…And I looked over at Beth and I was like, Rocko’s kind of cute. And she was like, ‘what?’ And I was like, ‘maybe I’ve just had too much.’

Kay ended up making the first move as she subtly began flirting with him. At first, she admits he was hesitant about their friendship turning into more in fear that it would impact their friendship or he would risk losing a job that means so much to him.

“He would joke around about it and whatever. And then I asked him one time, I was like, ‘there’s something between us, yeah? I’m not the only one feeling this.’ And he was like, ‘yeah, but that’s never going to happen.’ And I was like, ‘why?’ And he was like, ‘because I love my job and I love it here, and this could completely ruin this whole thing.’ And we are so close as a touring family. And he was like, ‘I’m not going to be the one to ruin this dynamic.’ And then he ended up coming around to the idea.”

It’s now been about a year since they made things official and it’s safe to say the two are still going very strong.

“He was very reliable. He’s very sweet, very kind. He was always like, he’s great. He’s one of the best guys I’ve ever met,” she sweetly shared.

Beyond his kindness and humor, Rocko has shown Alexandra Kay that she wasn’t asking too much in past relationships, she was simply asking for the wrong person.

“If you really unpack my last record, a lot of it was me feeling like in my relationship, every little bit of love and affection was pulling it out and honestly feeling like I was high maintenance when it came to love. I remember my ex used to tell me things like, ‘you need to stop watching Instagram reels real relationships aren’t like that.’ And when Rocko and I got together, he just proved to me in such a short time and still does a year later, that I wasn’t asking too much. I was just asking the wrong person…I’m happier than I’ve ever been.”

Plus, the best part about working together is that they get to spend so much time side by side, celebrating this exciting chapter of Alexandra Kay’s music career. Lately, she’s found herself constantly on the move with radio tours, working tirelessly to get her music heard at as many stations as possible. Having Rocko with her for these acoustic performances has given them even more opportunities to connect.

“I’m laying in my hotel room and I look over and he is with me. And although we’re only going to get three hours of sleep tonight and we’re going to be on five planes in the next three days, I am like, ‘we get to do this together.’ And that’s really, really cool because I do think of people that don’t have that, who aren’t in that scenario and how lonely that could get.”

She continued, “I’m able to find that gratitude through all of these times of being tired and kind of getting yanked all around. I’m like, wow, we get to do this together. That’s really, really cool. And what a blessing.”

He’s also a big reason why the “Cupid’s A Cowgirl” singer’s latest album, Second Wind, has such a lighter, more uplifting feel. The record follows her debut, All I’ve Ever Known, which explored the heartbreak of her divorce. Many of the songs on Second Wind were inspired by Rocko and the role he played in helping her embrace a brighter, more positive chapter of life. He also contributed as a co-writer on several tracks, including “Hell Right,” “Feminine Energy,” and the album’s title track.

“The song ‘Second Wind,’ we wrote about kind of just how he revitalized me in this whole me being completely broken and not trusting anybody…And then he just put the wind back in my sails. And so that’s what we wrote ‘Second Wind’ about,” she explained.

All of their hard work on the road has clearly paid off, as shown by the single “Straight For Heart,” which officially hit country radio after its initial release in November 2025. The track made an immediate impression, earning 71 first-week adds and cementing Kay as one of the most notable solo female debuts in recent country radio history.

Looking ahead to 2026, Alexandra Kay is set to hit the road, opening for Cody Johnson and taking her performances overseas to New Zealand and Australia with Old Dominion. At the same time, she’ll continue her nationwide radio tour, bringing her music to fans across the U.S.
