Thomas Rhett is celebrating a major career milestone as “Ain’t A Bad Life,” featuring Jordan Davis, tops the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart, earning him his 25th No. 1 single.
The achievement marks a landmark moment in the country star’s career, one he says he never could have imagined.
“‘Hitting 25 No. Ones is something I never could’ve dreamed up,” Thomas Rhett shared. “‘Ain’t A Bad Life’ is one of those songs that just makes you smile, and getting to share it with my buddy Jordan Davis made it even more special. I’m really grateful to the fans, country radio, and everyone who’s been on this ride with me—this one means a lot.”

The song was sent to country radio in September and became the most-added single upon its release. It was also one of the first tracks developed for his latest project, beginning with the line, “I didn’t win the lotto, but the dawgs won.”
The idea to bring Davis in came naturally, as the two have been longtime friends and previously toured together.
“Me and Jordan have just become really, really close over the last year, whether that’s through having a bunch of kids or we duck hunt together, we see each other a lot,” Rhett previously explained. “This song just sounded like a Jordan song to me. And me and him had never done a collaboration before…I think it’s going to be a good one for both of us to be able to play separately on the road, and hopefully we get to play this thing together at some point in time.”
“Ain’t A Bad Life” was written by Thomas Rhett alongside Ashley Gorley, Blake Pendergrass, John Byron, and Mark Trussell. The track serves as the third No. 1 from his latest album, About A Woman (Deluxe), following “Beautiful As You” and “After All The Bars Are Closed.”
The milestone also comes as Rhett prepares to hit the road for his upcoming THE SOUNDTRACK TO LIFE TOUR, set to visit more than 20 cities. The tour kicks off July 9 in Nashville and wraps October 24.
This tour will feature ERNEST, Kashus Culpepper, Zach John King, Vincent Mason and Conner Smith on select dates, while Emily Ann Roberts is set to open each night of the tour.

“I’ve always believed a great song can take you right back to a moment—your first love, the last day of school, that summer you never wanted to end—and that’s what I hope the fans take away from our shows this summer,” Thomas Rhett shared in a statement. “And for me, there couldn’t be a better way to kick off tour than at home in Nashville. I can’t wait to hit the road with this crew of insanely talented artists and make some memories.”
Most recently Thomas Rhett teamed up with Marshmello on the new single, “Where We Go.”
