Lainey Wilson and Devlin “Duck” Hodges have officially stepped out onto their first red carpet as husband and wife. The couple arrived to the ACM Awards in style just one week after tying the knot in their scenic Tennessee wedding.
The Louisiana songstress ditched her signature bell bottoms for an elegant gown orange fringe floor-length gown with her hair cascading down her shoulders with loose bouncy curls while Hodges sported a dark gray suit with a gold bolo tie and belt bucket, both of which cater to his nickname “Duck.”
And of course, Wilson’s best accessory of all, her wedding ring, which she made sure to show off loud and proud on the red carpet.
The Louisiana songstress traded her signature bell bottoms for an elegant, floor-length orange fringe gown. Her stunning blonde hair was styled in loose, bouncy curls that cascaded over her shoulders, flowing alongside her dazzling gold earrings. Beside her, Hodges complemented the look in a dark gray suit accented with a gold bolo tie and matching belt buckle, both of which offer a subtle nod to his “Duck” nickname.

According to Vogue, the country music superstar and the former NFL player said “I Do” at the Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee. The couple fell in love with the venue as soon they came across it during a drive down the backroads.
“Duck said, ‘You wanna get married there?’ I said, ‘Done deal.’ We dropped by, saw the venue, and fell in love with the natural beauty of the cave and the simplicity of the property.”
They rang in the new chapter of their lives together surrounded by loved ones and several fellow country music stars like Luke Bryan, Ian Munsick, Lauren Alaina, Ella Langley, Miranda Lambert, Wynonna Judd, Ashland craft, Drew Baldridge and Jelly Roll.
This epic wedding ceremony took place a little over a year after Hodges proposed to Wilson on the doorstep of George Jones’s renowned estate in Franklin, Tennessee in February of 2025. Their first love story began in 2021 when they were set up on a blind date. The two had dinner in Nashville at Moby Dicky’s and later ended up at the bar, Silverado’s.
“We’ve been pretty inseparable since,” Wilson admitted.
Lainey Wilson heads into the 61st ACM awards a seven-time nominee, which includes a nod for Entertainer of the Year. She is also vying for a win in the categories of Female Artist, Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Visual Media of the Year (“Somewhere Over Laredo”).
She is set to open the star-studded night with a highly-anticipated performance. Wilson is keeping fans on their toes as she has yet to reveal which song she will bring to the ACM Awards stage.
Throughout the night, viewers will also see epic performances by Avery Anna, Blake Shelton, Carter Faith, Cody Johnson, Dan + Shay, Ella Langley, Jordan Davis, Kacey Musgraves, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Riley Green, The Red Clay Strays, Thomas Rhett, Tucker Wetmore, and Zach Top.
Highlights also include collaborations between Thomas Rhett and Jordan Davis, Parker McCollum and Lee Ann Womack and unforgettable moments like Blake Shelton performing a rendition of “The Gambler” as a tribute to the late Don Schlitz.
Ashley McBryde, Keith Urban, Lauren Alaina, Michael Bublé, Shaboozey, The War And Treaty, and TJ Osborne are among the night’s many presenters.
The top-selling female country-pop artist of all time, Shania Twain is gearing up to host the star-studded event for the very first time.

Megan Moroney is one of the top recognized artists at the 61st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards with nine nominations, including her first nod in the category of Entertainer of the Year. However, the songstress has confirmed that she will not be attending tonight’s show despite the chance to win several major awards.
But Moroney has a good reason for not making an appearance. She has revealed that she is out of the country this weekend, acting as Maid of Honor for her best friend and UGA sorority sister, Natalie King’s wedding. King is often seen joining the “Cloud 9” singer on her many adventures on the road in support of her massively growing career so this time, it was Moroney’s turn to be there for her friend.

She took to Instagram story on Sunday, May 17, just hours before the star-studded night, to let fans know why they won’t be seeing her on the show this year.
“I’m so honored to be nominated tonight at ACM Awards and I’m rooting on all my friends from afar! I’m out of the country this week on MOH duty to get my bestie married,” she wrote alongside a blurry photo of her sporting a baby pink sweat set with “Bridesmaid” written on the pants while her “bestie” Natalie had on a light blue version of the same set that read “Bride.”

Moroney shared extra love with her fans and expressed her excitement to kick off her massive Cloud 9 arena tour on May 29.
“I 🩷you guys & I can’t wait to see y’all in columbus! Counting down the days.”
The wedding comes nearly two months after the UGA alums jetted off to the Bahamas for King’s bachelorette trip in celebration of her final days as a single woman before tying the knot.
Although Megan Moroney’s presence will be missed at the 2026 ACM Awards, she still has the opportunity to claim several wins. She is one of the female acts who are dominating this year’s show with nominations in the categories of Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (“Am I Okay?”), Single of the Year (“6 Months Later”), Music Event of the Year (“You Had To Be There” with Kenny Chesney), and Visual Media of the Year (“6 Months Later”).
Additionally, Moroney was nominated for Artist-Songwriter of the Year, however that win went to Ella Langley prior to the show.
Hosted by Shania Twain, the ACM Awards are set to stream live exclusively on Prime Video for a global audience across more than 240 countries and territories on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. PT from the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Fans can also tune in via the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and through the Amazon Music app.
