Man buys $7 California Pizza Kitchen from Walmart. Then he realizes something major is missing: ‘It probably tastes the same either way’

Frozen pizza assembly lines move fast. Usually, the dough goes down, sauce follows, cheese and toppings land on top, then the whole thing gets flash-frozen and wrapped in cellophane. But somewhere in that process, @drewtastic658’s pizza skipped step one entirely. Nobody noticed until he opened the box, expecting dinner, and got a $7 arts-and-crafts project instead.

Drew is not wearing a shirt, which is how we know this is serious. This is a man who saw cardboard where crust should be and said, “The world needs to know, and they need to know right now.” The audacity of California Pizza Kitchen could not wait for a tank top. To be fair, righteous indignation burns hot. And 313,000 viewers didn’t seem to mind.

Walmart Customer Gets Heated

“I’m gonna show you guys what I just found,” he started. “This is the pizza we got from Walmart. Look at this: the pizza they gave me. Not opened. Still in the plastic.”

He shows that the pizza has no crust.

“’Crispy thin crust.’ … This is cardboard. This is what [the pizza] usually sits on. They put the cheese, chicken, and barbecue chicken recipe on cardboard. This is on cardboard.”

At this point, Drew is beside himself.

”Are we watching this? They forgot the crust. This is what I paid $7 for, cardboard?”

At this point, he is running his fingers through the toppings on the cardboard.

“Do we need a closer look at this? Are we out of our minds?” he asked. “This is cardboard. This is cardboard. On my—this isn’t crispy thin crust. Cardboard covered with pizza toppings. Walmart and California Pizza Kitchen, I want my money back—now.”

Drew continued reading the box.

“’No artificial flavors. Preservative-free crust,’” he said sarcastically. “Are we sure about that?”

Then, he shows the second, correctly constructed pie: “This is what it should look like. This is the cardboard under it—under the crust—and then the crust is on top. This is a crispy thin crust.”

Drew even got into why he had the pizzas in the first place.

“I got two because I usually eat two,” he says. “Not in one sitting; I’m not that fat. But I only have one, and the other one’s in the garbage.”

For one last comparison, he reiterates for educational purposes, “This is a pizza crust. This is pizza. Are we seeing this together? This is pizza. This is cardboard. This is pizza. This is cardboard.”

Got it, Drew.

The Peanut Gallery

“It probably tastes the same either way,” joked one commenter. One person said, “It’s keto-friendly.” Another said it was a “boneless pizza bruh.”

A commenter wrote that he should “just go to Domino’s…. better deal than frozen pizzas.” But Drew replied, as a call back to his eating in the clip, “I can eat this whole pizza on a calorie-restricting diet tho.”

Hidden Valley Ranch got in on the humor: “Whoever made that’s lowkey over that job.”

California Pizza Kitchen got back with Drew directly in the comments section. “That’s definitely not the pizza experience we promised!” it wrote. “Send us a DM and we’ll make it up to you.”

The Issue

Nestlé-associated frozen pizza brands have had various issues and quality control failures. A customer who bought Jack’s Pizza frozen pizza in 2023 had the same issue.

“Who was in the factory making the pizza?” she asks in her video. “Literally, one [has] the toppings on the cardboard and the bread is on the bottom, and one came double breaded,” referring to the fact that the second pizza came with two crusts.

Issues date back over a decade to 2013. A Wisconsin food company recalled DiGiorno and California Pizza Kitchen-branded pizzas after complaints that small pieces of plastic were found in the products. One situation resulted in at least one injury when a consumer chipped a tooth after biting into the pizza.

There have been issues with glass contamination and mislabeling of allergens.

This isn’t a one-off. Nestlé’s frozen pizza lines have a documented history of this exact assembly error across multiple brands. Drew’s CPK pizza mishap is just the latest in a series of recorded events.

And Nestlé knows about it. It has been asking retailers to provide full refunds to affected customers in various recalls. However, it seems like it would be cheaper and easier to strengthen its quality control processes.

Who’s Responsible

Party Role Fault
California Pizza Kitchen / Nestlé Manufacturer ✅ Yes — factory-sealed error
Walmart Retailer ❌ No — they just sold it
Drew Consumer ❌ No — but could’ve worn a shirt

AllHipHop reached out to Drew and Nestlé for comment.

Living Legends’ Sunspot Jonz Howls For Aesop On “Wolfheart” Album

’Twas two nights before the end of the How the Grouch Stole Christmas Tour and five members of the Living Legends—Sunspot Jonz, Eligh, The Grouch, Luckyiam, Bicaso and Scarub—were at Denver’s Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom for another headlining show with Souls of Mischief and CunninLynguists.

Behind the venue in a dimly lit Mile High alley, Sunspot Jonz practically glowed as he talked about his new children’s book, Werewolves Want the Moon For Christmas, and his latest solo album, Wolfheart. But there was also a sense of sadness in the wake of Aesop the Black Wolf’s death just a few months ago.

The veteran Oakland MC/producer, a founding member of the crew, grieved open and honestly with his Instagram followers, allowing the public to share in his pain. That night was no different—he was willing to speak on the group’s profound loss.

“You always find out bad news in the morning,” he said. “That morning, Murs called me and said, ‘Yo, we lost ‘Sop.’ Tears just started streaming down my face. I couldn’t even move. He’s the first one out of the group to go and he was such a light, because he’s always laughing no matter what’s happening. A piece of the whole mantle is gone now. You’re not prepared for it. I was paralyzed. I was catatonic. I was like, ‘I cannot believe it.’  I immediately called his phone.”

But…Aesop never picked up. So like a lot of creatives, he poured his grief into his art, something perfectly encapsulated on the Wolfheart song “Howl Miss You.”

“It’s wolf season and I knew I had to have the strength to make it through the winter, and only a wolf heart can do it,” he explained. “I made that beat on my MPC and I was like, ‘This sounds like the beat I’m gonna say something about Aesop on.

“I didn’t wanna make it overly deep, I just wanted to let people know I love the man, he was my brother and we had a lot of fun together. We also created magic and I wanted people to know how much I cared about him and that I’m always gonna howl for him. I’m always gonna be a beacon of his light that he left.”

Sunspot is spreading that light to children with Werewolves Want the Moon For Christmas, which he authored and illustrated. As a kid, Sunspot jumped around from foster home to foster home, and art was how he coped.

“I grew up in foster homes,” Sunspot revealed. “I was adopted and always on punishment or always in another foster home. I was in foster homes until I was about 15, because me and my new mom didn’t get along. She had divorced my adopted dad a year after I got adopted, so I was on punishment a lot, and I was always drawing. I had no TV, so I made the TV.”

Years after launching his rap career, he was sitting on the tarmac at a Miami airport for hours and, to pass the time, pulled out his computer and started drawing what would become illustrations for his first book, The Dentist and the Fire Breathing Dragon. It took years to publish it, but it finally arrived in 2021 and his career as an author and illustrator had officially begun.

“These drawings are in my control,” he said. “I don’t have to have someone direct it, or sound off on it or anything. I just put my all into making The Dentist and the Fire Breathing Dragon. It took me probably like two and a half years to really to finish it.”

View this post on Instagram

The feedback blew him away: “I couldn’t even imagine it. It got hella positive reviews on Amazon.”

Sunspot’s books go hand in hand with his non-profit, Hip Hop Scholastics, whose mission it is to “promote social-emotional well being and inspire learning through love, inclusion and Hip Hop,” according to its website. Hip Hop Scholastics has provided Hip Hop Education for schools and programs nationwide since inception. The original curriculum, created for kindergarten students at Prescott Elementary School in West Oakland, has bloomed into a comprehensive Pre-K through 5th grade standards-based curriculum. The song “8th Graders” on Wolfheart—which he also produced—is actually about that.

“Basically we go and help the community by using music as a vocational tool,” he said. “We throw an annual event at Children’s Fairyland amusement park in Oakland. We have the fourth one coming up next August.” But he has additional plans. He continued, “I want to do a children’s network because I feel like kids, especially adopted or foster kids, they need help when it comes to being mentored.”

Somewhere, Aesop is smiling.

Klay Thompson Roasted Over 7-Point Performance While Megan Thee Stallion Watches

Klay Thompson scored just seven points on Christmas Day against his former team while girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion watched from courtside seats.

Fans roasted the Dallas Mavericks guard on social media, with many pointing to his declining performance since dating the rapper. The couple spent Christmas Eve on Thompson’s boat before the highly anticipated Warriors matchup.

Thompson came off the bench and managed only seven points, two rebounds and two assists in the loss to his former teammates with Golden State, 126-116.

Social media erupted with criticism.

“Klay Thompson might as well get a feature from Megan and start his rap career. Bro got 2 points,” one user fumed. “klay not even trying to play he just wants to get back to megan and i don’t blame him.”

This poor showing adds to growing criticism about Thompson’s performance since he began dating Megan Thee Stallion in July 2024. Former NBA players Jason Williams and Pat Beverley have made controversial comments blaming the rapper for Thompson’s struggles.

The couple has faced scrutiny throughout their relationship, with some fans and analysts suggesting Thompson’s focus has shifted since dating the Grammy winner.

His stats have notably declined this season, averaging 8.1 points per game and shooting poorly, resulting in him being benched earlier in the season.

Before the Christmas Day game, Thompson and Megan spent time on his boat, which he renamed “SS Stallion” after dating her for just five months.

The couple was seen enjoying the water on Christmas Eve, with Thompson introducing Megan to his “Captain Klay” persona.

Despite the criticism, Thompson has defended his girlfriend multiple times, calling out those who blame her for his performance.

The couple made their relationship official in July and have been spotted together at numerous games and events.

Fans continue to debate whether Megan’s presence affects Thompson’s game, but the Christmas Day performance certainly didn’t help silence the critics.

J Diggs Gets 10 Years for Marijuana Charges in Oklahoma Court

J Diggs was hit with a 10-year sentence in Rogers County after cops found four pounds of weed and $11,745 cash in his car during a May 2020 traffic stop near Catoosa.

The Bay Area rapper was found guilty on four marijuana-related charges in November. Judge Stephen R. Pazzo handed down the sentence on December 16.

“I could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle from the back bumper before I even said hello,” Deputy Ron Walker

Diggs will serve four years each for three counts: possession with intent to distribute, conspiracy to distribute, and possession without Oklahoma’s required tax stamp for medical marijuana.

Those sentences run at the same time. Then he was hit with six more years for acquiring proceeds from drug activity, which ran after the first four years.

“At some point, it becomes clear that it’s not for personal use,” said Rogers County District Attorney Matt Ballard. “By the time you get to 4 pounds, clearly that isn’t for personal use, that’s to sell.”

The 41-year-old rapper has been releasing music under the name J Diggs since 2003.

He calls himself “President of Mac Dre’s Thizz Nation” on his Instagram, where he has over 230,000 followers. Mac Dre, who was killed in 2004, helped start the “hyphy” Hip-Hop scene that Diggs belongs to.

Diggs has been beefing with music manager Wack 100 on social media for years. The feud heated up when Diggs released a diss track called “3 Finger Wack” in 2023, targeting Wack 100 directly.

The beef started over comments Wack 100 made about Diggs and has played out across Instagram and YouTube interviews. Diggs has three prior felony convictions in other states for guns and drugs.

He also spent 10 years in prison for conspiracy to rob a bank. The jury originally wanted to give Diggs 18 years, but the judge showed some mercy, handing down a 10-year sentence.

Blueface Debt To Soulja Boy’s Baby’s Mom Swells To $130K As Legal Bill Mounts

Blueface owes more than $130,000 to a woman who won a defamation case against him while he was in prison. The rapper got out of jail in November 2025 after serving 21 months, but still faces a massive $13 million lawsuit over a strip club shooting.

Jackilyn Martinez filed her lawsuit in December 2023 after Blueface posted on social media suggesting that Soulja Boy’s 2-year-old child could be his. Martinez is the boy’s mother. The rapper never responded to the case and lost by default.

Judge Peter Hernandez awarded Martinez $123,245 in April, which includes $100,000 for her pain and suffering. With interest, the judgment has grown to about $131,655 according to MyNewsLA.

The judge ordered that royalties collected by BMI and ASCAP on Blueface’s behalf be assigned to Martinez.

Martinez said she suffered “severe emotional and mental distress, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks and crying spells” from Blueface’s statements. She also said she has not been intimate with the rapper since 2018.

Blueface was sentenced to four years in prison in August 2024 for violating his probation from a 2021 assault case. He was convicted of attacking a security guard at a North Hollywood lounge after being asked to leave. The rapper served his time at North Kern State Prison.

He got out in November 2025 after serving about 21 months. His early release surprised many people. His family announced his freedom on social media.

Since getting out, Blueface has returned to music. He dropped his first single since prison, called “Babygirl,” featuring Hazel-E in the music video. The track marked his comeback after nearly two years behind bars.

But the rapper faces much bigger legal problems.

He owes over $13 million in a separate civil lawsuit over a strip club shooting. A Nevada judge ordered him to pay Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club $13 million to cover lost revenues and lease payments after a 2022 shooting.

The shooting happened in October 2022 outside the Las Vegas strip club. The incident forced the venue to permanently shut down. Blueface has also been ordered to pay over $1 million in interest, in addition to the $13 million in damages.

Blueface has been trying to rebuild his finances through music and streaming.

Dope House Records Celebrates 30 Years of Independent Excellence With New SPM Album If Animals Could Talk

When it comes to hip hop, there are few independent hip-hop labels that can say they’ve survived and thrived for three decades. Dope House Records is one of those labels. Over the Christmas holidays, the legendary Texas-based record label recently marked 30 years of independent music dominating streaming and engagement. The label created buzz this week with the announcement of If Animals Could Talk, a new 30-song album by SPM that dropped on Christmas Day.

More than just an album release, the new project release stands as a statement of the label’s enduring influence in hip-hop and its solid commitment to independence, authenticity, and ownership.

Since its launch, Dope House Records has operated outside the traditional music industry playbook. Built on self-reliance and grassroots support, the label carved out its own lane long before “independent” became a mainstream marketing term. Over the years, Dope House has developed a loyal fan base by staying true to its sound and story, with songs that mirror the realities of communities and the streets, while giving a platform for music to speak the truth of the people whose voices are heard in each project. Thirty years later, that same philosophy drives the release of If Animals Could Talk.

The album features 30 new tracks, a symbolic nod to the label’s three-decade journey, and it delivers new original tracks from SPM. Longtime supporters will recognize the unmistakable Dope House sound while new listeners are introduced to a body of work that feels deeply rooted in the past, present, and future. The project also introduces new Dope House artists, reinforcing the label’s role not only as a legacy brand but as a platform for emerging artists.

If Animals Could Talk leans heavily into storytelling, offering a mix of street narratives, social commentary, and relatable experiences that fans are looking for. The album’s title is symbolic of looking at the world through a lens of survival and unspoken wisdom. Listening to the tracks, the project plays like a conversation between past and present, bridging lessons learned with new music that speaks to the people.

The response of fans following the release of a few singles from the album shows that the tracks went viral. The video for “Santa Robbin Hoods” has surpassed 3.8 million views in just two weeks, quickly becoming one of the label’s most viral moments in recent years. The track blends sharp social commentary with the unmistakable Dope House edge, resonating with audiences who value substance as much as impact. Meanwhile, “Rastafari” continues to build momentum, gaining rapid traction across digital platforms and attracting listeners both within and beyond the traditional fan base.

Beyond the numbers, the timing of the album’s release during the Christmas holidays adds another layer of significance. Traditionally a season of reflection, family, and reset, the holiday drop gives fans a chance to listen to the music over the holidays. If Animals Could Talk is a hit because of its dope sound and cultural resonance across all the tracks on the project.

What makes this release especially significant is how Dope House Records continues to deliver music directly to the people, without reliance on major-label systems to validate success. In an era where algorithms often dictate exposure, the label has maintained its connection to fans through consistency, community engagement, and control over its catalog.

That independence has always been central to Dope House Records’ identity. The label’s ownership of its music, masters, and messaging has been a guiding force since day one. As ongoing industry conversations around artist rights, transparency, and fair compensation grow louder, Dope House stands as an early and enduring example of what long-term independence can look like when executed with vision and a commitment to the culture of music.

If Animals Could Talk doesn’t just celebrate longevity. It reinforces the power of change in communities and its impact on people’s lives. It’s a reminder that hip-hop culture has always been built on voices willing to speak truth, regardless of industry approval. Three decades after its founding, Dope House Records remains grounded in that mission, continuing to release music that reflects real life, real consequences, and real perspectives.

As the label enters its next phase of evolution, this holiday release serves as both a milestone and a bridge honoring the past while setting the tone for what’s next. With new artists stepping forward, longtime supporters staying engaged, and digital platforms amplifying the message, Dope House Records once again proves that independence isn’t a limitation—it’s what’s up. Ya heard

Nino Breeze Walks Free After $200K Bail In Marijuana Case

Nino Breeze landed in federal custody earlier this week in Tampa after authorities charged the Maybach Music Group signee with conspiracy to possess marijuana with intent to distribute, but made it back home just in time for Christmas.

The Florida rapper, whose legal name has not been disclosed, turned himself in Monday to U.S. Marshals at the federal courthouse in Tampa, according to his attorneys Bradford Cohen and Mark Rankin.

The legal team confirmed he was granted release following a bond hearing, during which he agreed to post $100,000 in cash and to pledge another $100,000 in property as collateral.

During the hearing, the presiding judge acknowledged Breeze’s growing musical momentum and urged him to continue building on his success.

His attorneys told TMZ,

“Nino will be home for Christmas” and “we look forward to examining the evidence to reach a fruitful resolution through trial,” and they were right.

Back in 2016, he cut a deal in federal court and landed a six-year, six-month prison sentence. The case tied him to guns used alongside drug activity and illegal firearm possession as a convicted felon.

Investigators later said Nin Breeze was moving marijuana by mail from California to Florida. Authorities tracked at least 50 packages linked to the operation. By the end, police estimated more than 230 pounds of marijuana had been shipped, worth roughly $1 million, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

When police searched his home, they found more than 20 pounds of marijuana. They also recovered three firearms and over 50 rounds of ammunition.

Officers seized more than $86,000 in cash during the search, and a $55,000 diamond watch was also found, even though he was unemployed at the time.

Donald Trump Holiday Freaks Out Continues After 1M New Epstein Files Found

Donald Trump lashed out during the holidays after the Department of Justice confirmed the discovery of more than 1 million additional files tied to the late Jeffrey Epstein, reigniting scrutiny over the former president’s past connections to the disgraced financier.

The Justice Department said the documents, uncovered by FBI agents and federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York, are being reviewed and redacted before public release. The trove includes grand jury transcripts, internal memos, flight logs, and other materials that could shed new light on Epstein’s network and his 2019 death in federal custody.

Trump, who has repeatedly denied wrongdoing, took to Truth Social with a furious response.

“Now 1,000,000 more pages on Epstein are found. DOJ is being forced to spend all of its time on this Democrat inspired Hoax. When do they say NO MORE, and work on Election Fraud etc. The Dems are the ones who worked with Epstein, not the Republicans. Release all of their names, embarrass them, and get back to helping our Country! The Radical Left doesn’t want people talking about TRUMP & REPUBLICAN SUCCESS, only a long ago dead Jeffrey Epstein – Just another Witch Hunt!!!”

The former president’s outburst came days after the DOJ missed a December 19 deadline to release the documents under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a law Trump himself signed in 2020.

Officials now say they need “a few more weeks” to complete redactions and will release the files in stages.

Trump’s holiday message also veered into Epstein territory.

In a lengthy Christmas Day post, he wrote, “Merry Christmas to all, including the many Sleazebags who loved Jeffrey Epstein, gave him bundles of money, went to his Island, attended his parties, and thought he was the greatest guy on earth,” before accusing them of turning on Epstein once “things got too HOT.”

He continued, “When their names get brought out in the ongoing Radical Left Witch Hunt (plus one lowlife ‘Republican,’ Massie!), and it is revealed that they are Democrats all, there will be a lot of explaining to do.”

The newly discovered documents are part of an ongoing federal investigation into Epstein’s criminal enterprise, including his 2019 arrest and subsequent death. The files include previously unreleased material, including emails, photos, and surveillance footage.

Among the revelations in earlier batches of documents are logs showing Trump flew on Epstein’s private jet at least eight times between 1993 and 1996.

One 2020 email from a federal prosecutor stated Trump had flown “many more times than previously reported,” sometimes with Ghislaine Maxwell and an unnamed minor.

A redacted FBI file from the same year includes an allegation from a former limo driver who claimed he overheard Trump referencing “Jeffrey” and “abusing some girl.”

The claim, which remains unverified, was included in a batch of documents released under the transparency law.

Also raising eyebrows are photos from Epstein’s estate, turned over to House Democrats, showing a stack of novelty “Trump condoms” with the phrase “I’m HUUUUGE!” printed on the packaging.

The items, sold by a New York novelty shop during Trump’s presidential run, were confirmed by fact-checkers to be authentic but are not considered criminal evidence.

Still, the former president has made it clear he believes the document release is politically motivated.

He has also argued that the focus on Epstein is a distraction from what he calls “TRUMP & REPUBLICAN SUCCESS,” and has called for the names of all individuals tied to Epstein to be made public immediately.

Rubi Rose Poses In Nothing But A Bra And Blazer & Steals The Holiday

Rubi Rose dropped jaws and raised blood pressure with a holiday lingerie promo that looked more like a striptease than a sales pitch.

She pulled up in a pinstripe blazer with a blazing red bra underneath, no shirt, no shame, all chest. That bra wasn’t hiding a damn thing. It was loud, proud and front-row center.

Hair laid, lighting hitting and her cleavage glistening like it belonged on top of the damn Christmas tree.

First pic?

Rubi’s bent over a mannequin like she’s giving it a private lesson in seduction. Her hands are all over the bra like she’s adjusting the volume. That red-on-skin combo? Wild. The camera’s basically drooling over every curve.

Then she slides into a chair, leans back like she owns the place, and lets that blazer hang on for dear life. The way she’s posed? The bra’s doing overtime, lifting, shaping, and holding everything like it’s got something to prove. Spoiler: it does.

Next shot, she’s holding the mannequin’s head like she’s about to kiss it or confess her sins. But let’s be real, nobody’s looking at the dummy.

All eyes are locked on that glossy red bra, peeking through her hair. It’s giving “CEO of sexy” and “don’t touch unless you’re on payroll.”

Then boom: she’s standing in front of a Christmas tree like she’s the damn present. Blazer buttoned just enough to tease, bra still peeking like it’s playing peekaboo with your soul.

Naughty list energy with a side of boss chick branding.

NLE Choppa Announces “Gangsta” Engagement After Months Of Rap Beef

NLE Choppa announced his engagement to Erica Ravén in a moment capped off the holiday season with an infusion of positivity.

The Memphis rapper, often dubbed NLE The Great, revealed the proposal on Instagram with a short sequence of images that showed him down on one knee offering an engagement ring to his now fiancée.

In the first photo Erica Ravén appeared visibly stunned as the proposal unfolded.

In a later image she lifted her hand toward the camera displaying a diamond ring that sent timelines in a frenzy. The caption was brief stating, “Now That’s Gangsta.” All other images had been removed from NLE Choppa’s IG.

The engagement moved quickly social media with congrats coming from all over.

Rumors that Choppa and Erica were dating only began circulating a few months ago after the pair shared affectionate posts online. In October they uploaded a photo together that fueled speculation about a possible relationship. Weeks before that Choppa had reposted an image originally shared by Ravén on her Instagram story showing the two kissing. Neither addressed the chatter.

The announcement landed during a time where the rapper was mostly known for beefing with NBA YoungBoy. In October, Choppa released “KO” and critiqued NBA YoungBoy for being a bad influence on younger listeners.

Choppa followed up in November with “Hello Revenge” which eventually led to a tense encounter in Houston involving NBA Ben 10 and NBA OG 3three. But, much of that seems to be in the rearview as the engagement now dominates the rapper’s narrative.

Congrats, Choppa and Erica Ravén!

Below are some of our moments with the rapper.
