Future’s Battle Over Unique LimoJet Rolls On As Trial Looms

Future is still knee-deep in a courtroom fight over that tricked-out “Limo-Jet” featured in his 2024 video “Arabi” and things aren’t cooling off anytime soon.

The Hip-Hop heavyweight, along with Egyptian star Mohammed Ramadan and Lebanese-Canadian singer Sari Abboud, is being dragged through legal hell by MIK Corporation, the Minnesota company that owns the flashy jet-turned-limo.

MIK’s beef?

They say the trio used the one-of-a-kind ride without permission, scratched up its paint job during filming and broke a deal that clearly said “don’t use footage without our okay.”

The “Arabi” video dropped in February 2024 and quickly racked up over 53 million views, but MIK says they never signed off on it and now they want damages.

The LimoJet, which literally looks like a private jet chopped onto wheels, is MIK’s pride and joy. The company claims it’s got full trademark rights and rents the thing out for events.

Back in April 2023, Ramadan’s people reached out about using it for shows and visited the vehicle in Des Plaines, Illinois. Everyone supposedly agreed not to shoot or scratch it. MIK says they did both.

The lawsuit accuses the artists of fraud, contract violations, negligence and jacking the LimoJet’s image for commercial gain. They’re also going after Future’s Wilburn Holding Co.

In a hearing on Friday (August 8), U.S. District Judge Matthew Kennelly shot down dismissal attempts from Abboud.

The judge told both sides to link up and work out a discovery and pretrial schedule, with another court date already in the works.

Pete Davidson Said Keke Palmer Showed Him Parenting & Acting Can Coexist

Pete Davidson admired Keke Palmer for seamlessly juggling motherhood and movie-making on the set of The Pickup, a heist comedy now streaming on Prime Video.

Davidson, who is preparing for fatherhood with model Elsie Hewitt, said watching Palmer care for her infant son while filming scenes left a lasting impression.

“What was cool is when we were doing The Pickup, Keke’s baby was just born and she had him on set the whole time, and she would go into a take and then run over, you know, play with the baby, and it made me realise it’s possible to co-exist in both worlds,” he told Extra. “You know? I was really impressed with her… the way she was parenting on set.”

Palmer gave birth to her son Leodis in February 2023 with her then-partner Darius Jackson. She joined Davidson and Eddie Murphy in the film, which blends crime and comedy.

Though Davidson didn’t receive direct parenting advice from his co-stars, he said Murphy offered a meaningful perspective.

“He actually, his advice was the best. He goes, ‘I have no advice.’ He goes, ‘Because you can’t really tell anybody how to raise their own kid. But it’s going to change your life and you’re going to love it, and I’ll know you’ll be good at it,’” Davidson recalled. “So, I mean, that’s a cool thing to get from your idol, you know?”

Murphy, who has ten children ranging in age from six to 36, has long balanced his career with family life. Davidson, 30, and Hewitt confirmed her pregnancy last month, marking a new chapter for the former Saturday Night Live star.

The Pickup became available for streaming on Prime Video in August 2025.

Kirk & Rasheeda’s Daughter Pulled Into T-Hood Shooting Allegations

Kirk Frost and Rasheeda have had their share of reality TV blowups, but this latest drama isn’t playing out on VH1.

The ratings are higher in the real world. No pun intended.

The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta stars, once one of the franchise’s solid couples, are now divorced and clearly not on the best of terms. Rasheeda even jumped in the booth recently to drop a rap track roasting Kirk, a diss that quickly went viral. People loved the energy—even if some of the live crowd reactions had folks online cracking jokes.

But the playful internet clowning took a back seat fast when word spread that one of their adult daughters might be tangled up in the killing of Atlanta rapper T-Hood. For those who don’t know, T-Hood wasn’t just another name—he was a respected figure in the city’s rap community, and his death hit hard.

Gwinnett County police confirm they’re investigating the shooting, which happened inside T-Hood’s own home. They haven’t named any suspects, but social media detectives are already pointing fingers. The talk online is that the daughter allegedly set him up and called her brother to “handle” something. This is SUPER DUPER EXTRA ALLEGED!

Alleged and messy can co-exist. A woman claiming to be the daughter’s sister has been unloading details on Facebook, adding even more fuel to the rumor fire. And now there’s chatter—still unverified and alleged—that Kirk may have helped their kids stay out of sight after the shooting.

Authorities haven’t confirmed any of that, and nobody connected to the couple has been charged. Still, with the internet running wild and the community grieving, this is the kind of situation where speculation spreads faster than the facts.

This is a couple used to controlling their own narrative on TV, but this is a whole different level of drama. If the rumors turn out to be false, it’s going to take a lot to clear the air. If they’re true, it is a nightmare. Either way, the Frost family’s reality just got way more complicated than anything in a reunion special. I bet they are recording every second.

Allegedly the daughter said the following:

Claressa Shields Says Laila Ali Was Scared To Fight Her—Even For $15M

Claressa Shields is calling game over on a long-hyped fantasy fight with Laila Ali, and she’s doing it with no hesitation.

The three-time undisputed world champion told TMZ that Ali’s camp flat-out rejected the bout, despite months of buzz and a big-money offer on the table.

“Laila and her representatives have told us no,” Shields said. “Like, the answer is ‘no.’ She doesn’t want to fight. And that’s fine. I have no problem with that. I’m not upset. I mean, I wouldn’t fight me either. You know what I’m saying? I understand that she’s scared. I’m moving on.”

The backstory goes like this: Ali once floated the idea that $15 million might get her back in the ring. Shields says she hustled up the money, expecting the deal to be done. Instead, she says Ali’s side pulled the plug.

“I thought that she was about all that talk. She wanted $15 million. I went and got the $15 million. And now it’s all this backpedaling. So, you know, congrats to her on whatever she’s doing. But I’m moving on with my career,” Shields said.

You might remember we interviewed Claressa five years ago. She was trying to get this fight done then, but nothing came out of it.

Claressa “The GWOAT” Shields: The Boxing Beast Wants All The Smoke: From Laila Ali To IG Trolls!

The fight-that-never-was sparked plenty of debate online. Some argued that the retired 47-year-old has nothing to prove, but she did name her price. Her nemesis went and got it. It just does not make a lot of sense for a retired champion to face another champ in her prime. Some have said Claressa Shields was out of line for framing Ali’s decision as fear.

“Laila is out the way and happy with her life. Go fight Mike Tyson,” one commenter wrote. Another said, “Scared? Girl, Laila is acting her age and wage. She’s a brand and has nothing to gain fighting you. Please, go somewhere.”

Not everyone disagreed with Shields’ confidence, but the consensus leaned toward Ali being done with boxing for good. Some people I know were really not happy with the daughter of Ali being treated that way. At the same time, it is boxing and trash talk is the norm.

Shields is OK. She went to social media to flash a nearly $90,000 diamond-encrusted watch. She also posted other stuff, but go to her social. I’m not going to show all her flossing when I live in a hovel!

Kash Doll Ends Relationship With Za’Darius Smith—Slams Tracy T Over Petty Post

Kash Doll pulled the plug on her relationship with Za’Darius Smith on Saturday (August 10), confirming the breakup and stepping away from social media in the same breath after a string of public drama involving her ex Tracy T.

“At this point of my life i just need to be single,” she wrote on X. “Za’Darius is a great guy but we can’t see eye to eye and with all due respect we decided to part ways.

She added, “I’m giving the internet a break also so I’m done with y’all too right now.”

Moments later, Smith echoed the split with a cryptic Instagram Story that simply read “Single” alongside a walking man and door emoji.

The breakup came just days after the couple made headlines for attending Kash Doll’s best friend’s wedding together, where she gifted the bride $20,000 in cash.

The moment, which included her two children from her previous relationship with Tracy T, quickly went viral.

Tracy T chimed in with a jab on Instagram, posting a photo from the wedding with the caption, “Kashton don’t wanna be there,” referencing their son’s expression in the picture.

Smith didn’t hold back, firing back at Tracy T with a pointed message: “N#### when you ready to buy school clothes and go half on that tuition let me know!!”

Tracy T Chimes In On Kash Doll & Za’Darius Smith Breakup

The rapper also posted a message about prioritizing her well-being, writing, “Mental health is real…. U gotta Make sure everyone around you means well.”

The relationship between Kash Doll and Smith began earlier this year and included family outings, public appearances and a steady stream of affectionate posts—until it all unraveled in the public eye.

DDG Nearly Did A Backflip During Swatting Arrest At Paintball Event

DDG was hauled off in cuffs at a desert paintball tournament after a swatting prank triggered a full-blown police response, turning a $25,000 competition into a viral spectacle.

The rapper and YouTuber was briefly detained Saturday (August 10) after law enforcement received a fake emergency call suggesting a serious threat at the event.

According to DDG, officers arrived in formation, weapons drawn, and ordered DDG to surrender.

“They came in tactical stance,” DDG said during a livestream recounting the moment. “I’m spooked,” he recalled. “It’s nowhere to go.”

The surreal moment was captured across TikTok, Instagram and Twitter, with clips showing DDG being escorted in handcuffs.

The footage quickly spread online, prompting a wave of support and the hashtag “FREE DDG” to trend.

The rapper was eventually released without charges after authorities confirmed the call was a hoax.

Swatting, a criminal act involving false reports to provoke armed police responses, has increasingly targeted public figures, including Nicki Minaj, iShowSpeed and Adin Ross.

DDG gave a dramatic play-by-play of the incident, revealing that the pressure almost got the better of him.

“My intrusive thought was telling me to do a backflip,” he said. “And I was genuinely considering it …That’s got to be the devil, right?”

The tournament, held at an outdoor venue in the desert, was a professional-level event with a $25,000 prize pool, adding to the chaos and attention surrounding the incident.

“Narcicisst” Rapper Finesse2Tymes Cut Off His Mom, Launches GoFundMe To Avoid Homelessness

Finesse2Tymes is catching heat at home—his mom, Pluria Alexander, says she’s getting kicked out after he stopped footing the bill and now she’s begging for help online.

Alexander launched a GoFundMe asking for $6K to cover moving costs after claiming her son bailed on her financially and emotionally.

Pluria says she’s now locked in a fight to stay housed in Texas after her landlord gave her a few days to pay up or pack it up. In the GoFundMe description, she didn’t sugarcoat anything.

“I’m reaching out for help as I face eviction and the urgent need to find a new place to live. Until recently, my son was helping me pay my bills, but after a falling out, I’ve been left to manage everything on my own,” Alexander said.

She added that this isn’t the first time he’s left her out to dry. “This is the third time my son’s actions have left me homeless and each time it becomes harder to recover.”

Before she moved to Texas, Alexander says she had her life together in Memphis with a steady job, her own place and a car. Now she’s struggling with anxiety, depression and what she describes as “narcissistic abuse” from her son.

On top of that, she’s got a legal mess to deal with. Alexander says she got caught up in a scam involving Nigerian fraudsters last year and is now dealing with a pending money laundering charge.

She says that the charge is making it nearly impossible for her to find a new apartment.

“I’ve already been denied by three different apartments,” she wrote.

She’s asking for help to cover moving costs, transportation and security deposits so she can stay close to family and try to get back on her feet.

“I’m doing everything I can to stay close to my family and maintain my health, but the stress is overwhelming,” Alexander said.

Alexander says she’s not ashamed to ask for help.

“Your support would mean the world to me. It would give me a chance to start over, stay near my loved ones, and focus on my health and well-being while I navigate this difficult legal situation,” she said.

EXCLUSIVE: Diddy’s 84‑Year-Old Mom Denies Helping Scam Executive Out Of Ownership In Bad Boy

Janice Smalls is calling BS on a lawsuit that claims she helped her son Diddy screw over a former Bad Boy exec out of millions—saying she had nothing to do with that mess and wants the whole thing tossed.

The 84-year-old mom of the Hip-Hop mogul is fighting back in Manhattan federal court, where Kirk Burrowes is suing over a piece of Bad Boy Entertainment he says was snatched from him back in the ’90s.

Burrowes is coming for Diddy, his longtime lawyer Kenneth Meiselas, and now Smalls—claiming she played clean-up crew after he was allegedly forced to give up his 25% stake and 15% profit cut in 1996.

Smalls says that’s all cap.

In new court papers, she’s asking the judge to shut it down, saying she’s never owned a piece of Bad Boy, had zero involvement in the alleged strong-arm play and hasn’t even lived in New York since 2012.

She’s been in Florida, minding her business and paying taxes like everyone else.

Burrowes has already tried to get this case off the ground—twice.

First in 2003, then again in state court. Both got booted for being way past the deadline. Smalls’ lawyers say this third try is more of the same, calling it “frivolous” and “preposterous.”

Burrowes claims Diddy and Meiselas threatened him into signing over his stake and says Smalls later helped hide the whole thing.

He even says she admitted it at a Diana Ross party in 2019. But Smalls’ team says even if that were true, the statute of limitations still ran out before Burrowes filed in 2025.

The legal squad also argues that the fraud claims don’t have the receipts required under court rules, and that the rest of the lawsuit is just a remix of old contract beefs dressed up as new charges.

They say the “unjust enrichment” and “conversion” claims are basically the same thing, that the consumer fraud law doesn’t apply, and that “civil conspiracy” isn’t even a valid claim in New York without a real crime to back it.

Bottom line, Smalls says she’s not the villain here and wants out of this legal circus.

The judge hasn’t ruled yet, and Burrowes’ lawyers haven’t said a word.

Cardi B Uses Her BBL To Justify Fat Shaming Jokes

Cardi B took a jab at plus-size folks while hyping her upcoming Am I The Drama? album merch drop and used her BBL as her defense card.

The Bronx rap queen hit Instagram Live and cracked a joke about underestimating how many 3XL tees she needed for her album bundles.

“So the box sets are completely sold out, especially because you fat f####, clearly you guys are fat as f###, no Chick-fil-A for y’all.”

She kept the same energy, saying, “I could body shame people cause y’all body-shame me. If y’all body shame me, I could body shame y’all. You could talk about my body and I talk about yours, so it doesn’t matter. I call you fat, though it’s not a big deal. You can talk about my BBL all day, but I haven’t talked about you being fat all day.”

The comments set off some backlash online, but Cardi circled back on another Live to explain she clowns everybody and doesn’t care who gets mad.

She pointed out how she’s been roasted for her body for years and doesn’t lose sleep over it anymore.

“It got to the point that when people talk s### about my body, I don’t even care no more. You want to know why? ‘Cause I’m content with how I look and I’m not laying in that table no more. I’m 33 and I’m old as f### and I got s### to do. I can’t take two months off no more cause I got surgery. I’m not gonna apologize though cause ya’ll sensitive cause ya’ll wanna cry about some dumb s###.”

This isn’t the first time she’s had to speak on her BBL.

She previously clapped back at a wild rumor claiming Stefon Diggs ghosted her over the smell of it.

Cardi shut that narrative down quick, saying, “First of all, I don’t know who made that up. But, btch, that’s you … That’s on you, btch. That could never be me.”

So while Cardi’s catching flak over her merch rollout, she’s standing ten toes down—BBL and all.

Conway The Machine’s Love For Freddie Gibbs Rumored To Be Centerpiece Of Benny “Beef”

Conway The Machine and Freddie Gibbs might just be friends. The digital streets are whispering.

Rumors recently swirled after Benny The Butcher and Conway allegedly clashed while overseas in Paris.

What was supposed to be a powerful show turned into a rumor-fest, with each artist performing separately. But the rumors don’t stop there. One source described it as more than a simple disagreement — claiming a physical altercation nearly broke out, leaving one person knocked out and another allegedly pulling a knife. Since then, Benny and his team have gone radio silent, neither confirming nor denying the incident.

What makes the situation even messier is that Conway has shown a lot of love for Gibbs – post-fight. This is bold considering the known history between Freddie Gibbs and Benny’s crew.

Years ago, Gibbs and Benny had a serious public feud. And when Gibbs went to Benny’s hometown of Buffalo, he got jumped. While Gibbs still took the stage afterward, he performed visibly bruised. It was no secret that Benny’s camp was suspected of being involved.

It was the kind of moment that made Hip-Hop heads wince. I cringed. Benny and Gibbs had cooked up some of the best lyrical work together before things went sour. Watching violence cut short that creative magic was a reminder of how fragile greatness can be when ego and street politics get in the way.

Listen to this:

How did we get to this parallel universe? This is wack!

It’s not clear whether Conway’s positive vibes and love for all have reignited old tensions, but some observers are connecting the dots. We need answers. After all, Benny and Conway are family, and in Hip-Hop, loyalty still carries weight. But, Conway once rapped, “pick a side.”

For now, there’s no confirmation on what caused the alleged Paris fallout. But Griselda’s silence on the matter only fuels rumors. Each artist continues to move solo, promoting projects and performing without acknowledging the growing whispers. Talk to us. Or, better yet, talk to each other. You guys need each other more than you think.

In an era where grown-man rap and lyrical excellence are already rare, watching Griselda and Gibbs beef is more than disappointing. We need this to work out. It’s a reminder that while rap beef has always been part of the game, so is growth.

Hip-Hop doesn’t always make space for peace. But that doesn’t mean the artists can’t.

For the record, we love all these dudes! They are APEX MCs in the new era.
