This is unforgivable.

Brooklyn does not wish to reconcile with his parents. He said so himself.

For many months, people have wondered what Victoria and David could have possibly done to drive their eldest son into going no-contact with them.

Now, he’s laid it all out in the open. Even just the incidents surrounding his 2022 wedding are jaw-droppingly awful.

The fact that he’s spoken to his parents at all after his wedding is extremely gracious

On Monday, January 19, Brooklyn penned a lengthy explanation of his beef with his famous parents.

The 26-year-old confirmed existing reporting that one of the key points of contention was his mother, Spice Girls alum Victoria Beckham, misbehaving at his April 2022 wedding.

“My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife,” he wrote. It was a dance “which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.”

Brooklyn recalled: “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage.”

He continued: “Where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me.” This sounds like a psychological horror film.

“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone,” Brooklyn described. “I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

This Carrie-at-the-prom moment sounds genuinely traumatic. Even an “appropriate” wedding hijacking can ruin the day.

Brooklyn added that he and his wife, Nicola, “wanted to renew our vows.” They did so in 2025.

He explained that they did this so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness” instead of “anxiety and embarrassment.”

If your silly prank is so ruinous that someone needs a wedding do-over, you shouldn’t really expect them to talk to you again. Especially if it’s only one piece of a long, ugly story.

He’s only speaking out because, otherwise, his parents control the narrative

There are no actual public videos of Victoria’s alleged total violation of her son’s wedding.

People had even dismissed reports of this exact thing taking place, in that it sounds like the behavior of a madwoman or the over-the-top antics of a soap opera villainess.

Few had imagined that it might be true. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning.

Around the time of Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, reports claimed that Nicola had rejected one of her mother-in-law’s designs for her wedding dress.

Nicola denied that publicly. She simply said that the atelier couldn’t complete the dress in time. It was tasteful and diplomatic. But, Brooklyn shared, it was not the whole truth.

According to Brooklyn, his mother was going to make Nicola’s dress — but backed out “in the eleventh hour.”

He complained that both of his parents have been “trying endlessly to ruin” his relationship, seemingly both before and after they married. Even the night before the wedding, they allegedly emphasized to him that Nicola is “not blood” and “not family.”

The Beckham family brand also came into play, with his parents allegedly trying to pressure him into signing away the rights to his name in order for a larger payout.

“They have never treated me the same since” he refused, Brooklyn reported.

The Beckhams are sometimes regarded as the UK’s other royal family. The comparisons between Brooklyn and Prince Harry are obvious.

Honestly? Good for him to standing up for himself (but we’re sorry that he had to)

Brooklyn grew up in a spotlight that he never chose for himself.

His parents are intensely famous, are politically connected (David has been at Davos this where billionaires are scheming about the economy), and give the impression that the family brand has taken precedence over their son.

We’re sure that Victoria and David love their son. We’re equally sure that it’s clearly not enough.

Some adult children will simply put up with who their parents are and how they misbehave. Not all will.

If you want a continuing relationship with your kids, you should make better choices. A sense of parental entitlement can only go so far.

After a long and tumultuous partnership, it looks as though Meghan Markle’s time with Netflix may have finally come to an end.

Sources familiar with the situation say that after two seasons, the duchess’ lifestyle show With Love, Meghan will be coming to an end.

While it scored higher viewership numbers than some of Meghan and Prince Harry’s previous Netflix collaborations, the show fell well short of expectations.

The insider who shared the news with Page Six did not reveal whether ratings were a factor in the decision, but it’s worth noting that With Love generally underperformed in that department.

The show’s second season failed to even crack the list of Netflix’s top ten shows the week that it debuted.

There was hope that the new slate of episodes would climb the charts on the strength of word of mouth, but that never happened.

Ultimately, the show ranked #383, with a rather paltry 5.3 million global views, in the first half of 2025.

“It’s not returning as a series. There have been conversations about holiday specials, but there’s nothing in the works yet,” one insider tells Page Six.

“People will see similar cooking and crafting on Meghan’s socials for the brand, but more bite-sized.”

The move does not come as much of a surprise.

After all, Meghan has experienced far greater success with her artisanal food product line As Ever, so it makes sense that she might wish to shift her focus to that endeavor.

And the ratings were not the only issue hampering With Love.

Meghan also took a lot of flak for tips and tricks that struck some fans as hilariously half-hearted, such as filling gift bags with store-bought pretzels, and creating your own scented towels by dipping them in lavender oil.

Many critics felt that Meghan lacked the know-how to be the next Martha Stewart and settled on that career path only after her other Netflix projects fizzled out.

Some of those projects, like the poorly received reality show Polo — about the glitzy world of that sport — struck viewers as shockingly tone deaf and out of touch.

A cameo-heavy domestic lifestyle show must have seemed like a safe bet by comparison, but Meghan’s starpower just wasn’t enough to draw the big ratings.

Thankfully, Meghan is selling a whole lot of jam these days.

This already upsetting case has taken some distressing turns.

Timothy Busfield is accused of sexual abuse of two child actors who worked on The Cleaning Lady.

But hitches in the case include a witness in his defense — and contradictory statements from the alleged victims.

To top it all off, Busfield’s stepson has something to add.

This case keeps looking more complex as we learn more

Last week, actor Timothy Busfield surrendered to police in Albuquerque.

The mother of two child actors alleged that he sexually abused them both on the set of The Cleaning Lady.

He is facing two charges of criminal sexual contact with a minor. He is also facing one count of child abuse.

However, a witness from the show’s crew has come forward to suggest that the mother in question has an alleged motive.

Additionally, investigators’ initial investigation obtained audio recordings of the alleged victims denying that any inappropriate touching took place.

TMZ obtained court documents featuring statements from veteran Hollywood security guard Christopher Ford.

According to these records, Ford attended a lunch during The Cleaning Lady Season 3 in early spring 2024 in which the mother of the two boys was present.

At the time, it was unclear whether the child actors would return to the show.

Ford shared that the woman became frustrated, vowing to “get Timothy Busfield” and to “have his ass” if her sons were not rehired.

This, he said, came before any complaint filing. And, sure enough, Busfield ended up replacing the actors with another child actor who had auditioned.

When was the opportunity for the alleged crimes?

According to Ford, parents of child actors were always present on the set when their children were working.

He described the father encouraging his sons to hug people on set.

Ford never witnessed Busfield alone with any children. (Though, to be clear, it would be contradictory if he had)

He explained that there was “no realistic opportunity” on the set for alone time.

Instead, Ford detailed, child actors interacted with Busfield in open areas of the set with plenty of other adults around.

Then there is the police recording that TMZ obtained featuring investigating officers speaking to the boys in November 2024.

Both child actors confirmed that they knew that no one could “touch your private areas.”

Both then told investigators that Busfield had never touched them inappropriately. This sounded like a categorical denial.

However, their mother sent them to see a counselor.

It is unclear if prosecutors are going to present a claim that the boys only recovered memories of sexual abuse in therapy. Given how notorious “recovered memories” are, perhaps the argument is that the boys were allegedly afraid to come forward before counseling.

His stepson is an outspoken character witness

Melissa Gilbert has two adult sons, and shares 30-year-old Michael Boxleitner with ex-husband Bruce Boxleitner.

People obtained a look at a character letter that Michael penned in the defense of Busfield, who became his stepfather when he was 15.

He gushed about what sort of person Busfield is, declaring the man to be “my hero.”

He said that he’d “shown up for me as a father more” than his biological father.

Michael praised: “He is kind, thoughtful, and carries himself with a stalwart integrity all of us could only ever hope to match.”

Truth be told, when it comes to CSA allegations, character witnesses do not mean much about guilt.

When your home is burglarized, you don’t line up everyone whose home remained untouched to declare the burglar innocent.

So whether we’re talking about a high powered Hollywood predator or a date rapist, other people liking and trusting them doesn’t really mean anything.

We should keep in mind that Busfield has multiple allegations of misconduct, going back decades.

However, all of these other allegations were of inappropriate contact with adult women or teenage girls. Absolutely not okay if true, but very different from the charges that he’s facing at present.

If this makes it to trial, the prosecution may find it challenging to explain several key aspects of the case.

The feud between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, has been escalating for months, but for the most part, the conflict has taken place behind closed doors.

That all changed today when Brooklyn took to Instagram to make his feelings about his parents perfectly clear.

“I have been silent for years and have made every attempt to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed,” Brooklyn began his Instagram Stories post, which continued across multiple slides.

“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

As you’re probably aware, the problems seem to stem from Brooklyn’s marriage to Nicola Peltz, whom his parents have never fully accepted.

Brooklyn went on to allege that his parents attempted to sabotage his wedding and pressured him to sign away his rights to the family name:

“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress,” he wrote.

“Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.”

Brooklyn went on to claim that his parents have attempted to break up his relationship, and that they recently refused to see him and Nicola during the couple’s trip to London.

“My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one,” he wrote.

“My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable,” he continued, adding:

“Despite this, we still travelled to London for my dad’s birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him.

“He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner.”

Brooklyn concluded by blasting his parents for being obsessed with their brand and public image:

“My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first,” he wrote, adding:

“Family ‘love; is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.

“We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family. But the one time my wife asked for my mum’s support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mum refused.”

Needless to say, Brooklyn seems to have had it with his parents’ behavior. David and Victoria have not yet addressed his allegations publicly, but this is the sort of commentary that pretty much demands some sort of response.
