The timing couldn’t be worse.

The week that her husband’s approval ratings hit record lows happens to be the same week that Melania Trump is debuting her self-titled documentary.

And if the early reviews and box office forecasts are any indication, the film is about to endure one of the worst receptions in modern Hollywood history.

On the review site Letterboxd, users have been bombarding Melania with horrendous feedback.

“I really don’t care, do u? ½ star,” wrote one user, referencing a slogan written on a jacket that Melania once wore, seemingly in response to her critics.

“I heard all of her lines are taken from a Michelle Obama documentary,” another wrote.

“Nobody asked for this absolute piece of flaming garbage,” a third chimed in.

A fourth critic was even more to the point, writing, “ABOLISH ICE. RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.”

Many of those reviews have since been deleted, a move that many believe was made at the behest of someone working for the Trump administration,

Of course, the bad reviews are to be expected, and the Trumps will likely just chalk them up to vitriol from the “haters and losers” (although by most accounts, the film, directed by disgraced Hollywood exile Brett Ratner, is genuinely bad by just about any metric).

But what Donald and Melania may not have anticipated is the fact that the film is also on track to be a historic box office bomb.

Social media users in multiple cities have reported that in the theaters closest to them, every single seat is still available, meaning not a single ticket has been sold.

Of course, documentaries generally don’t make much money, and documentaries fawning about historically unpopular regimes are only of interest years later, once the threat is extinguished.

It’s enough to make you wonder why Amazon Studios and MGM (which is owned by Amazon) would shell out a reported budget of $75 million for such a risky venture.

Many believe the answer to that question is that Jeff Bezos did not expect an immediate return on his investment.

“They paid Melania Trump $28 million to make a movie absolutely nobody wanted to see. That’s called a bribe, folks,” wrote one user on X (formerly Twitter).

“The question we need to be asking about the Melania movie is what does Jeff Bezos want so badly from the Trump admin he was willing to spend $40 million of his own money making this crapola?” another chimed in.

Like Mark Zuckerberg, Bezos was critical of Trump during his first term in office, but he’s fallen into line for Trump 2.0.

So it’s not hard to see why so many are side-eyeing this particular venture (which reportedly placed a cool $28 million directly in Melania’s pocket).

Maybe Melania will defy the odds and pull in big box office numbers on the strength of word of mouth — but something tells us Bezos is content to wait for a different sort of compensation.

Though he was briefly imprisoned for drugging and raping women, Bill Cosby maintains that he’s innocent of those charges.

In a new deposition, however, Cosby admits that he obtained a prescription for Quaaludes with the intention of using the pills to drug women

He also admitted to refilling that prescription seven times.

Cosby maintains, however, that he never followed through with his plan to drug women.

He also says that he never took the drug himself.

This information came to light in a deposition Cosby gave in connection with a lawsuit filed by one of his accusers, a woman named Donna Motsinger.

In documents obtained by TMZ, Cosby states that he got the prescription from a doctor friend with whom he played poker in the 1970s.

The doctor is reportedly an OBGYN named Dr. Leroy Amar, who had his license revoked in 1979.

But in 1972, when he attended the poker game hosted by Cosby, he was still able to write prescriptions.

And apparently that’s exactly what he did.

Again, Cosby does not deny getting the prescription, but he insists he never drugged Motsinger or anyone else.

In her own testimony, Motsinger says that Cosby gave her a round white pill and told her it was Aspirin.

She says she began to slip in and out of consciousness and awoke the following morning to find that her clothes had been removed.

Court documents say that the pills obtained by Cosby were white and round, like the ones Motsinger describes.

The victim and plaintiff reportedly met when she was a server at the well-known Trident restaurant in Sausalito, California.

Cosby denies any wrongdoing and is trying to have the case thrown out of court.

Who is Donald Trump’s biggest fan?

According to Nicki Minaj, it’s none other than Nicki Minaj.

Following her cringe sit-down with Erika Kirk and her more recent homophobic tirade at Don Lemon, this is no longer a surprise.

But getting invited up to the podium to speak at a US Treasury event was a surprise — even to Minaj herself.

She began at a loss for words (but it all went south from there)

On Wednesday, January 28, Minaj attended an event for the US Treasury to to promote something called “Trump Accounts.”

Standing at the podium, Trump gushed about the rapper and how much money she allegedly makes.

He then invited Minaj to join him on the stage.

This was, it seems, as unplanned as a doddering old man getting up mid-conversation to stare out a window at a construction project.

At first, Minaj seemed to be unsure of what to say. Soon, however, she came up with a crowd-pleaser.

“I am probably the president’s number one fan,” Minaj raved.

“And,” she vowed, “that is not going to change.”

You know what? We believe that it’s not going to change.

“The ‘hate’ does not affect me,” Minaj announced in what we’re sure that she imagined was a defiant tone.

She then taunted: “It actually motivates me to support him more.”

‘I’m gonna let those nails grow’

Donald Trump doesn’t seem to know much about the singer or her music.

(And, honestly, when did she last release a bop or even a song worth knowing about?)

However, he gushed in appreciation for Minaj’s nails.

“I said, ‘I’m gonna let my nails grow,’ because I love those nails,” he told the audience. “I’m gonna let those nails grow.”

We don’t expect him to follow through. However, given that MAGA folks were wearing diapers in defiance of criticism of Trump a couple of years ago, we briefly allow ourselves to picture diehard MAGA men wearing long nails just like their beloved leader.

Obviously, a lot of people have questions about Minaj’s seemingly sudden shift to the fringe right of American politics.

She famously chatted with Christian nationalist Erika Kirk and cannot seem to stop raving about Trump.

Some believe that this is a simple right-wing grift, which we’ve seen countless times before.

Others believe that this is about Minaj’s citizenship (or lack thereof) or about her registered sex offender husband or about her imprisoned sexual predator brother.

Becoming a sycophant in exchange for political favors is the sort of bold-faced corruption that’s pretty standard in MAGA world. However, Minaj’s whole situation doesn’t seem that simple.

What happened to Nicki Minaj?

As hard as this is to say, especially for those of us who were fans of some of her music (albeit many years ago), we don’t think that Minaj herself has really changed. This is who she is, and who she was.

We linked that Matt Bernstein piece above because it is a thorough and informative rundown of why a once-celebrated music star is now shilling for MAGA world like a sub-par swimmer.

But Minaj has always been the sort of woman to pull up the ladder behind her when it comes to other women in her industry. And yes, there have been red flags about her being surprisingly anti-LGBTQ+ for years.

Maybe some things recently — the predators in her life, her weird beef with Gavin Newsom (nobody likes the guy but her reason is weird), and her anti-vax nonsense — have pushed her further into this abyss. But this is who she is.

Minaj built her fanbase primarily upon Black queer fans. She’s now done with them, and is publicly singing the praises of their enemies.

We have tragic news to report from the world of social media today:

Shirley Raines — the entrepreneur and TikTok star who was best known as Ms. Shirley — has passed away.

She was just 58 years old.

News of Raines’ death comes to us courtesy of a post from her Instagram page:

“It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that Beauty 2 The Streetz announces the passing of our beloved CEO and founder, Shirley Raines, affectionately known to so many as Ms. Shirley,” reads the post.

“Ms. Shirley dedicated her life to serving others and made an immeasurable impact on homeless communities throughout Los Angeles and Nevada,” the tribute continued.

“Through her tireless advocacy, deep compassion, and unwavering commitment, she used her powerful media platform to amplify the voices of those in need and to bring dignity, resources, and hope to some of the most underserved populations.

The post — which appears to have been written by Raines’ loved ones — goes on to honor her legacy as a humanitarian.

“This loss is devastating to the entire Beauty 2 The Streetz team, the communities we serve, and the countless individuals whose lives were forever changed by Ms. Shirley’s love, generosity, and selfless service,” the caption continued.

“Her legacy will continue to live on through the work she started and the hearts she touched.

“We humbly ask that you keep Ms. Shirley’s family, loved ones, and the Beauty 2 The Streetz family in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Further information will be shared as it becomes available.”

In addition to her successful business and her presence on social media (she had more than 1 million followers on Instagram alone), Raines was known for her dedication to feeding and housing the homeless.

The post announcing her death was quickly flooded with comments from grieving fans:

“NOT MS SHIRLEY!!!!! May she forever Rest In Power for all eternity!” wrote one commenter.

“What in the world?!! We lost an amazing woman. Your legacy will live on Ms. Shirley,” another added.

“Heaven just received one of their fiercest Angels. Rest In Power Queen,” a third commented.

Few social media influencers were as beloved or as impactful as Ms. Shirley.

Her cause of death is unknown at this time, and family members tell TMZ that they are awaiting the results of an autopsy.

Our thoughts are with Raines’ loved ones as they begin to try and process this tragedy.

It’s been 10 months since we learned the exciting news:

Ted Lasso has been renewed for Season 4.

Now, meanwhile, Apple TV has come out and revealed some major details regarding the return of Jason Sudeikis and the beloved character he brought years ago to the small screen.

First, we can confirm the show will release new episodes this summer. No exact premiere date has yet been announced.

Second, we now know for certain that Ted will be taking the reigns of a women’s soccer team.

“Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team,” the official Season 4 synopsis reads. “Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”

In one of the first images released by the streaming platform (above), Ted is joined by a new assistant coach alongside returning Coach Beard. She is portrayed by new cast member Tanya Reynolds.

Another snapshot (below) introduces Grant Feely as Ted’s son Henry after the role was recast ahead of Season 4.

As you can see here, Ted and Henry are seen at Mae Green’s (Annette Badland) Crown & Anchor pub in London.

Filming for season 4 kicked off in July 2025 in Kansas City, Missuri. To announce the news, Apple TV+ shared a video of the cast reuniting on Instagram.

In addition to Sudeikis, Apple previously confirmed in July 2025 the return of more of the original cast, including Juno Temple, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein and Hunt… while also announcing new stars are joining the comedy:

Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey and Abbie Hern.

Phil Dunster, Nick Mohammed, Sarah Niles, Anthony Head, Toheeb Jimoh, Cristo Fernández, Kola Bokinni, Billy Harris and James Lance have not been confirmed to return, yet they could still appear as guest stars or make cameos of some kind.

Season 3 of Ted Lasso concluded up with Ted returning to the United States to be with his son, giving way to emotional farewells between the coach and his team.

With Ted gone, the future of AFC Richmond appears to be in the hands of new manager Roy Kent (Goldstein), who has evolved from a testy former player to a respected coach.

While the show seemingly wrapped up many character arcs, the finale left the door slightly ajar — especially with hints of future developments like Keeley’s idea for a women’s team, as well as Rebecca’s continued journey with AFC Richmond.

In the months since Charlie Kirk was shot and killed during a speaking engagement in Utah, his wife, Erika Kirk, has transformed into a one-woman media empire.

Erika has hosted rallies, visited the White House, and sat for countless interviews.

And this week, she launched her 30-city Make Heaven Crowded Tour.

Some folks think it’s all a bit much for a grieving widow with two young children at home — and Candace Owens is one of those folks.

Owens, a fellow conservative pundit who was friends with Charlie, has long been critical of Erika’s handling of Charlie’s death.

Now, Candace has released what she claims is audio of a giddy Erika thanking her staff for helping her host the September memorial rally for Charlie.

The recording was allegedly made just 11 days after Charlie’s death, and many have pointed out that Erika doesn’t sound how we imagine a grieving widow would sound.

“Wow, I don’t even know where to begin. The fact that we were able to pull off an event of the century is just insane. We had 275,000 people that attended and a stadium overflow,” Erika can be heard saying.

“I think we’re at like 200,000 for merch sales. Don’t quote me on that, cause I think it just keeps like bumping up like crazy. I just wanted to say a huge, huge thank you to the events team, the development team, the graphic design team, and the production team,” she continues, adding:

“Honestly, a lot of the staff that worked on the memorial — they had 20-hour days for a week during the time of us grieving the loss of my husband. And honestly, I know several staff who didn’t even sleep.”

Erika then shifted her tone and instructed her staff to set aside any disagreements between them.

“I don’t care if any of you have beef with each other from the past, or have any issues with, someone said something about this, or that, like if you guys have any of that, please put it to rest,” she said, adding:

“My husband’s dead. Like, I’m not trying to be morbid, but he’s dead. And it puts life into perspective of how short life is, and relationships.”

Many commenters agreed with Candace’s view that Erika seemed unnaturally upbeat in the recording:

“It is the general tone that is off-putting. It’s the laughter that is off-putting. It’s again, we are not even two weeks after watching your husband be assassinated. We’re talking about numbers and metrics that have been hit,” one user wrote.

“I’m so sick of this grieving in their own way. As a widow with small kids, who has been a part of groups of widows with small kids; her behavior is NOT normal,” another added.

Erika continues to enjoy a great deal of support from people who were fans of her husband’s.

But she’s also receiving more criticism than ever, mostly from people who believe she’s exploiting her husband’s memory for personal gain.

Is Angelina Jolie broke?

No. But wealth doesn’t mean unlimited wealth, even for the most successful celebs.

A jarring report says that the sacrifices that Jolie has made for her children have cost her financial opportunities.

Now, she’s selling off property — some of which she’s owned for decades — and preparing for a major change.

Selling one property is just that, but two?

A new report alleges that Jolie is experiencing financial struggles — relatively speaking, at least.

For nearly three decades, she owned an apartment in Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

In July of 2025, she quietly sold the property.

The sale has only just become public, RadarOnline reports.

Jolie’s sale price is not public knowledge, but the unit that she has owned since 1997 had an estimated value just shy of $2 million.

Additionally, Jolie is reportedly preparing for another major property sale.

This one is a little closer to home.

She owns a colossal mansion in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles.

The $25 million property is a six-bedroom, 10-bathroom estate.

Jolie purchased the home in June of 2017, raising her children in safety amidst her ugly divorce battle with Brad Pitt.

Prioritizing her children has cost her in more ways than one

These days, almost all of the Jolie-Pitt children (one might as well just call them the Jolie children, at this point) are legal adults.

Vivienne and Knox are 17. That will change in mere months. This July, they will turn 18.

Angelina has reportedly been unable to move overseas due to the miserable custody situation with Pitt.

Once there are no longer any minors in the equation, she will be free of the legal tether preventing her from moving.

It’s unclear where she will move (speculation is varied and, in some cases, wild), but she’ll have plenty of options.

Rob Shuter wrote on Substack this month about Jolie’s alleged financial issues.

According to a source, the actress is “struggling to keep her lifestyle in Los Angeles.”

The insider acknowledged: “She turned down roles to focus on her family, which is admirable, but it hits the wallet.”

The source explained: “That’s part of why she’s looking abroad – where her money actually stretches.”

To be clear, the insider admitted: “She’s not broke, but she’s not exactly swimming in cash either.”

This is heartbreaking

The source claimed: “The legal battle with Brad over Miraval has drained her accounts faster than anyone imagined.”

Allegedly, Pitt’s complaint about Jolie selling her stake in Chateau Miraval, a winemaking estate, is that she sold this stake without his permission.

Many believe — correctly or otherwise — that Pitt is merely using this legal battle to punish and exercise control over Jolie beyond the bounds of their divorce and custody war.

Even if this is untrue, it is easy to see why it appears that way.

We cannot verify whether the battle has truly drained Jolie’s finances. But she has only remained in LA because she had no choice but to live near her ex, and we’re sure that a decade of legal fights has been expensive.
