On Monday, horrifying video of a shooting at a high school hockey game went viral on social media.
Now, new details about the incident — which left three dead, including the shooter — have emerged.
The suspect who allegedly opened fire at Dennis M. Lynch Arena in Pawtucket has now been identified as Robert M. Dorgan.
Authorities say two victims were killed, and the suspect died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Three other victims were wounded and rushed to a nearby hospital. They are expected to make full recoveries.
The alleged shooter has now been identified as Robert Dorgan, a truck driver whose most recent address was in Jacksonville, Florida.
Little is known about the perpetrator, but police believe the shooting was a targeted attack that stemmed from a family dispute.
The New York Post is reporting that Dorgan “shot his wife, three kids, and a family friend,” but police have yet to confirm the identity of the victims.
It’s important to note that we do not know the suspect’s motives at this time.
But Fox News and other outlets are reporting that Dorgan — who sometimes went by the name Roberta Esposito — was recently involved in a messy divorce and met with disapproval from his family over his decision to identify as transgender.
In her first divorce filing from 2021, Dorgan’s wife cited her reasons as “gender reassignment surgery, narcissistic and personality disorder traits” before later amending the grounds to “irreconcilable differences.”
The year prior, Dorgan contacted North Providence police and claimed that his father-in-law had tried to force him out of his home due to his decision to undergo gender reassignment surgery.
The Post is reporting that Dorgan expressed his frustration with anti-trans rhetoric on X (formerly Twitter) one day before the shooting.
In response to a tweet in which actor Kevin Sorbo referred to US Rep. Sarah McBride as a man, Dorgan wrote:
“Keep bashing us. But do not wonder why we go BERSERK.”
Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves said in a statement that the shooting “looked like it was a family dispute.”
“My father was the shooter,” a woman leaving the facility remarked, according to the Post.
She went on to claim that he was plagued by “mental health issues.”
“He shot my family, and he’s dead now,” she said, adding that he was “very sick.”

Well, Shia LaBeouf is back in the news.
And just like the last 100 or so times he made headlines, it’s not for anything good.
LaBeouf has battled substance abuse issues for years, and it seems his demons got the best of him this week during a trip to New Orleans for the city’s world-famous Mardi Gras celebrations.
The actor started his celebrations ahead of schedule with a Fat Monday celebration.
And it seems he started to get violent after becoming rather inebriated in a bar.
According to a police report obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, staff at Ms. Mae’s “ejected” Shia, alleging that he was “causing a disturbance” and getting increasingly “aggressive” with other patrons.
He left, but then returned “acting even more aggressive.” As you might’ve guessed, things continued to go downhill from there.
Shia allegedly attacked another man in the bar — it’s unclear if he was staff or a patron — and had to be restrained while a bartender called the police.
According to a statement from the New Orleans Police Department:
“Multiple people attempted to hold [LaBeouf] down — he was eventually let up in hopes that he would leave — but he reportedly again struck the same victim with closed fists to the victim’s upper body.
“LaBeouf then reportedly assaulted another person — punching him in the nose. LaBeouf was again held down until police arrived.”
LaBeouf was taken to placed under arrest and taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries he sustained in the fight.
It seems that he has now been released from custody, but it’s not clear if he was forced to post bail.
Staff at Ms. Mae’s say the trouble began when LeBeouf tried to play “celebrity bartender” despite their repeated warnings to remain out of the areas marked “staff only.”
If his shenanigans had ended there, he probably wouldn’t be in the tabloids today.
But according to multiple New Orleans residents, Shia’s behavior has been growing increasingly erratic in the days leading up to his arrest.
“He is terrorizing the city!” one bartender told THR.
The trouble reportedly began back on Thursday night, when Shia popped up at the jazz club Dos Jefes, where he promptly succeeded in making a nuisance of himself.
“He was louder than everyone and was giving acting instructions to a girl at the bar,” said one patron.
In multiple photos, Shia can be seen walking the streets of New Orleans shirtless, his large back tattoo honoring his child with Mia Goth on full display.
We’ll have to wait and see if Shia is in attendance at today’s Mardi Gras parades. Though a veteran in the world of hard-partying, it seems he may have made the rookie mistake of pre-gaming much too hard.

There seem to be few things that fans love more than Pedro Pascal dating speculation.
He’s an A-list actor. He’s a famously good person.
And he’s also one of the most desired men on the planet.
Over Valentine’s Day weekend, he went around New York getting touchy-feely with Rafael Olarra.
It’s not dinner-and-a-movie, but it’s close
TMZ reports that Pascal and Olarra appeared to be sightseeing in New York over Valentine’s Day weekend.
Not necessarily on the day itself, however.
On Sunday, February 15, the two took an apparent tour of the Lower East Side.
Photos show Olarra with his arm around Pascal as they make their way in the obvious cold. (You can see how bundled up they both were, though Pascal seemed to feel it a bit more)

At some point after lunch, Pascal and Olarra sat down in the theater to watch Wuthering Heights.

Over the past couple of years, wild speculation has attempted to link Pascal to two famous blonde women.
In early 2024, he and Jennifer Aniston held hands on the red carpet.
He displayed similar PDA with Vanessa Kirby as the two promoted Fantastic Four: First Steps last summer.
However, no evidence of actual romantic entanglements with either ever came of it.

Who is Rafael Olarra?
First and foremost, we need to emphasize that this is not the soccer player Rafael Olarra. Two men can have the same name.
Rafa’s last reported romantic entanglement was with Luke Evans, the Welsh singer and actor. (If you don’t recognize his name, you’d definitely recognize his face.)
He and Evans split in 2021. They had, at that time, bee dating for a little over a year.
Is it possible that he and Pascal are dating? Sure. Many things in this world are possible.
But as anyone with a normal social life can tell you, it’s also entirely possible for friends to see films and eat meals together without romance.
So, for now, we’ll avoid jumping to conclusions. But we hope that both of these handsome guys had a great weekend!

Everyone’s asking the same question:
What in the world is Michael Jordan doing?
A short video clip appears to show the 62-year-old basketball legend having a “creepy” interaction with a child.
In the video, he appears to touch the boy from behind. What’s happening?
WTF is going on?
In the video clip that you can see below, Jordan appears to reach out to touch a young boy, or at least his clothing, from behind.
After touching the boy’s shirt and pants, he then appears to touch the boy’s leg.
The boy hardly seems to reach except to briefly turn around, looking unfazed.
Descriptions probably do not do the video justice — some people see a familiar gesture of trying to help a boy with his clothes.
Others see a predatory act — one carried out brazenly and in the public eye.

To be clear, there’s nothing happening here that resembles a grope.
There is also no genital contact, no sign of even an attempt to reach underneath clothing.
However, that did not stop the video from circulating across social media on multiple platforms.
Replies describe the video as “creepy,” as “bizarre,” and as “inappropriate.”
Some took to greater extremes, posting memes suggesting a threat of violence against the NBA icon.
Maybe there’s a much more normal explanation for what’s happening
Is Jordan just being playful here with the child?
Actually, a lot of people believe that he’s trying to help the kid.
From the video, it appears that the boy’s shirt is wet — perhaps from a spilled beverage or simply water.
What would you do — especially if you are a parent and a grandparent — if you saw a kid with soaking wet clothes?
Well, you might reflexively reach out to try to help, such as by un-sticking the wet clothes from the kid’s skin.
Additionally, others pointed out that most actual predators tend to be more circumspect.
Most predators work to conceal their true nature in addition to their crimes, particularly when out in public.
Only someone who believes that they cannot face consequences is likely to simply reach out and touch someone, be they an adult or a child, with predatory intentions.
(This feeling of immunity can extend to the rich and powerful and also to men whose depravity is normalized in the culture and defended by the likes of Megyn Kelly)
Right now, even the wealthiest men on the planet know that groping a kid on camera could make them public enemy #1. Which makes it seem more likely that Jordan was simply helping a kid, and didn’t imagine anyone perceiving his actions otherwise.
That explanation makes a lot of sense, but …
It is much more reasonable to assume that Jordan was reflexively helping a kid out, and the idea that there are predatory adults out there who might touch a child inappropriately was the furthest thing from his mind.
However, we can acknowledge that the touch appears to be somewhat inappropriate. Not because he touched him ‘inappropriately,” but because he could have asked first.
It is almost always best to ask permission before touching someone. Yes, that includes children. Children are people.
Unfortunately, this is only the latest incident of people taking non-sexual, non-predatory photos and videos of famous people and children and attempting to reframe them as something sinister.
Yes, there are evil men who prey upon children. We should keep things in perspective: most sexual predators do not believe that they are untouchable, and keep their crimes a secret. And their victims are usually within their own families.

It’s been more than two weeks since Nancy Guthrie was abducted from her home in Tucson.
Shortly after the kidnapping, Donald Trump reached out to Nancy’s daughter, Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie, and promised her the full support of the federal government.
Now, he’s doubling down and threatening the kidnappers with the most severe penalty of them all.
In a new interview with The New York Post, Trump promised consequences for the kidnappers would be “very, very severe — the most severe.”
When asked if the government would push for the death penalty if it should turn out that Nancy is no longer living, Trump replied:
“The most, yeah — that’s true.”
Law enforcement is still approaching their investigation as a missing persons case, meaning they’re operating under the assumption that Nancy is still alive.
Trump contacted the Guthrie family by phone shortly after Nancy’s disappearance.
And on February 4, he expressed his thoughts on the abduction in a Truth Social post:
“ALL Federal Law Enforcement to be at the family’s, and Local Law Enforcement’s, complete disposal, IMMEDIATELY. We are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely,” Trump wrote.
The move surprised many, as Savannah is not a member of the MAGA movement, and usually, Trump is not quick to offer favors to public figures who don’t support him.
But as many have pointed out, Savannah is a beloved figure across party lines, and many upper-class Americans are experiencing intense anxiety with regard to the Nancy’s abduction.
In many countries, members of wealthy families are kidnapped and held for ransom with surprising frequency.
It’s a crime that does not happen very often in the US. And for obvious reasons, the very wealthy in this country would like to see it stay that way.
Murders are usually prosecuted at the state level, but there might be just cause for federal intervention here.
For one, an informant claims that Nancy is being held in Mexico, and if she was transported across the border, then her abduction might fall under the feds’ jurisdiction.
Arizona does have the death penalty, but it’s seldom used.
The state has carried out just two executions since 2022, and as the Post notes, “many of the 109 inmates on the state’s death row have been there for decades.”
But if it turns out that Nancy was killed and the perpetrators dragged her loved ones through hell with weeks of uncertainty, then you can bet that the public furor will be unlike anything we’ve seen before.
And in a situation like that, even people who typically oppose the death penalty might find themselves feeling very little sympathy for anyone involved in Nancy’s death.

It is officially over for Jessica Alba and Cash Warren.
According to documents recently obtained by TMZ, the former spouses finalized their divorce earlier this month.
By all accounts, it really is an amicable as these kinds of splits can be.
The exes will reportedly share joint custody of all three children; and neither will pay any spousal support. Per the celebrity gossip outlet, Warren will receive $3 million to even out the division of their assets.
Alba and Warren exchanged vows in May 2008 and went on to welcome three kids: daughter Honor in June 2008, daughter Haven in August 2011 and son Hayes in December 2017.
The actress filed for divorce in early 2025.
“I’ve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” Alba wrote shortly afterward.
“I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.
“We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”
Just over a year ago, the pair listed its date of separation as December 27, 2024.
Based on legal papers made available at the time, the two asked the court to determine which items were community property and needed to be divided between them.
Neither side has said much about the basis for the break-up in the many months since.
But one anonymous insider did speak to Us Weekly about it.
“They have had many ups and downs as any marriage would after being together for so many years,” the source told this tabloid in January 2025. “They have tried therapy and have worked out past issues over the years.”
Added this individual:
“There were trust issues in the past which led to many arguments…
“They are good parents and partners in business together but lost their spark and grew apart. Jessica and Cash made the decision together that this was no longer working or healthy for anyone.”
