As we previously reported, Eric Dane has passed away after a battle with ALS.
The Grey’s Anatomy star was just 53 years old.
Obviously, Dane’s passing is a tragedy for his loved ones, especially his two daughters, Billie and Georgia.
But the teens can hopefully take some comfort in the fact that Dane’s episode of the Netflix series Famous Last Words was coincidentally released on Friday.

The show features famous figures reflecting on their lives and offering advice to the loved ones they’ll be leaving behind.
“Billie and Georgia, these words are for you,” Dane said at the start of his episode.
“I tried. I stumbled sometimes, but I tried. Overall, we had a blast, didn’t we?
“I remember all the times we spent at the beach. The two of you, me and Mom, in Malibu, Santa Monica, Hawaii, Mexico. I see you now playing in the ocean for hours, my water babies,” Dane continued, adding:
“Those days, pun intended, were heaven.”
Dane went on to stress the importance of living in the moment:

“For years, I would wander off mentally, lost in my head for long chunks of time, wallowing in worry and self-pity, shame, and doubt,” he explained.
“I replayed decisions, second-guessed myself. ‘I should have done this. I never should’ve done that.’ No more.”
From there, Eric tackled the difficult topic of falling in love.
“Not necessarily with a person, although I do recommend that as well,” he said.
“But fall in love with something. Find your passion, your joy. Find the thing that makes you wanna get up in the morning. Drives you through the entire day,” he continued, adding:

“My work doesn’t define me, but it excites me,” he shared. “Find something. Find your path. Your purpose. Your dream. Then go for it. Really go for it.”
At that point, Dane pivoted again in order to remind his daughters of the importance of friendship.
“Find your people and allow them to find you, and then give yourselves to them. The best of them will give back to you. No judgment. No conditions. No questions asked,” he said, adding:
“I can’t even do the little things I used to anymore. I can’t drive around town, go to the gym, get coffee, and hang out,” he said. “I’ve learned to embrace alternatives. My friends come to me.
“They just show up. That’s a big one. Just show up,” Dane added. “And love your friends with everything you have. Hang on to them. They will entertain you, guide you, support you, and some will save you.”
Indeed, many of Dane’s friends have paid tribute to his talent and his generous spirit in the wake of his passing. He was truly beloved.
And we’re sure that his daughters will remember him fondly for the rest of his days.

In recent months, Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau’s relationship has grown increasingly serious.
What began as a joke-prompting dinner date and a random entanglement has clearly blossomed into something more.
Now, a report has come out claiming that the singer is pregnant.
Is this true? Here’s everything that we know.

On Thursday, February 19, a bold announcement took social media by storm.
The tweet showed a photo of Perry and Trudeau, one that appeared to show the two decked out in winter gear to enjoy this gorgeous weather.
It was the caption, however, that drew people’s attention.
“Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are expecting their first child together,” the tweet reads.
As you can imagine, this elicited quite a reaction.

Some bombarded the once-surprising power couple with congratulations.
Others expressed judgment — for having a pregnancy so soon after kicking off their relationship just last summer.
Many of the replies were, as always, filtered by people’s opinions of these famous and famously hot people.
However, others stopped to question the source of the news. And its validity, of course.
Pop Drug, which tweeted the announcement, isn’t TMZ or The Hollywood Reporter or People or even, say, Deuxmoi. Is the pregnancy news even true?

Katy Perry has not made an announcement to this effect.
Justin Trudeau has not made an announcement to this effect.
No first-to-know tabloids — the sorts of well-connected operations that directly contact verified sources or might get tips directly from hospital staff or employees of celebrities — have made a report.
We’re not even seeing lesser-known sites claiming to have harder-to-verify reports to this effect.
Could Perry be pregnant? Sure, probably. In her early 40s, it would be a geriatric pregnancy, but probably possible. But possible doesn’t mean that it’s happening.
It is pretty important for everyone to vet their reports a little more closely.
Even if you aren’t familiar with a publication, most will cite their sources — allowing you to trace a rumor back to its origin.
We here at THG will discuss entertainment news rumors like this one and provide all of the information that we have on hand.
In fact, it seems that way may have inspired this apparent social media prank was simply the above Instagram post by Perry.
“Let love be the revolution,” she wrote alongside a series of photos — some featuring Trudeau.

Obviously, there are times when people flood social media with fake news to rot people’s hearts and minds to win elections or promote a business or wage a smear campaign.
But people will also just post brazen lies (or unproven rumors) on social media for its own sake.
Some people are pranksters at heart.
If Perry and Trudeau decide to have a kid, we have a feeling that the world will learn of it through credible reports or by their own announcement.
In the mean time, it’s wise to double-check whose post you’re reading before you take it at face value. (Also, it is 2026 — stop reading tweets altogether!)

It’s been nearly three weeks since Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her home in Tucson.
And it seems that Donald Trump is sick of hearing about the whole thing.
Speaking with reporters on Friday, the president made some surprising remarks about the ongoing investigation.

“We have to start reporting on other subjects also, and see what happens,” Trump said (via Radar Online), adding:
“It’s a very sad situation.”
When reached for comment, the White House directed reporters to remarks made by Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on February 10.
“Prayers of this entire White House are with Savannah and her family at this time,” Leavitt said during the White House press conference on that day.
Trump’s sudden indifference toward Nancy’s disappearance came as a surprise to many.

The president, of course, has a long history of making incendiary comments about topical issues.
For example, Trump trashed Rob Reiner on multiple occasions after the legendary director was murdered in December of last year.
But in his past comments on Nancy’s disappearance, Trump has expressed sympathy for her family.
And shortly after news of the kidnapping went public, Trump contacted Savannah Guthrie and promised her the full support of the federal government.
For that reason, Trump’s dismissive remarks today came as a shock.
But it’s possible that the president thinks that he’s benefiting the investigation by encouraging the media to focus on other things.

On Thursday, TMZ received another ransom note from people claiming to be Nancy’s kidnappers.
The note was forwarded to the FBI, and the details are being kept secret for security reasons.
But one employee of the outlet explained that the kidnappers complained about media scrutiny of the case in their note.
“This is a very elaborate demand that involves the media, directly involves the media,” TMZ’s Charles Latibeaudiere told NewsNation.
“In fact, it puts the media reporting on this case as a trigger into their payment. It is a very bizarre and complex caper that they’ve sort of created here. I don’t know. When I looked at it, I thought … ‘This is too detailed.’”
So is Trump trying to help by directing the media’s attention toward other matters?
We may never know. But his about-face on this matter has caught many observers off guard.
