Travis Kelce Praises US Men’s Hockey Team, Draws Criticism From Irate Swifties

Reading Time: 3 minutes

As you’ve probably heard by now, the US men’s Olympic hockey team won the gold medal with a thrilling overtime victory against Canada in Milan.

But for a lot of fans, the celebratory mood died a quick death once politics entered the chat.

When Donald Trump placed a congratulatory phone call to the team, he snuck in some misogynistic jokes about the US women’s team, which also won gold.

And now, in an unexpected twist, Travis Kelce has become involved in the fray.

Travis Kelce, left, and Taylor Swift react as the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers play during the first period in Game Four of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final at Amerant Bank Arena on June 12, 2025 in Sunrise, Florida.

At Tuesday night’s State of the Union address, the men’s team was trotted out for a round of applause.

The women’s team declined their invitation, but Trump ominously stated that he would be meeting with them “soon.”

Anyway, the men’s team’s embrace of Trump and their refusal to stand up for the women’s team have attracted quite a bit of controversy.

But don’t tell that Travis, who had nothing but good things to say about the team on the latest episode of his podcast.

Taylor Swift celebrates with Travis Kelce #87 of the Kansas City Chiefs after defeating the Buffalo Bills 32-29 in the AFC Championship Game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on January 26, 2025 in Kansas City, Missouri.

“Me and Tay watched the entire game, man,” Travis told his brother, Jason Kelce (via People).

“And it’s just so f—ing epic, man. From the first drop of the puck, man, that game was nonstop action and had me at the edge of my seat.”

“Loved every bit of it, man. I just f—ing exploded when I saw ol’ Jack Hughes f—ing put it right in between the legs, man.”

Travis went on to steer clear of political issues while singing the team’s praises:

“Golly. It looked like he had lost that tooth once or twice before,” Travis pointed out, referring to Hughes’ injury.

“They crushed it. USA was so much fun to watch throughout the entire tournament, man. That semifinal game that you went to, I’m sure we’ll get into the rundown, but absolutely epic,” he continued, adding:

“Shout out to Canada too, man. Obviously, that team is so f—ing stacked.

“Bro, that was a f—ing intense game from the start,” Travis recalled. “How much the f—ing puck was moving. There were a few passes where I was just like, ‘How the f— did he even know the guy was over there’?”

On X (formerly Twitter) and elsewhere, some Swifties were critical of Kelce’s remarks, with many wishing that he had addressed the controversy involving the women’s team.

But Travis has been steering clear of tough topics for years — and he’ll likely continue to do so.

Lexi Jones: Daughter of David Bowie Recalls Abduction for ‘Wilderness …

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Iman and David Bowie’s daughter is an adult now.

Lexi has a story to tell.

A story that fans of her late father might not want to hear.

When she was a teen, she was forcibly removed from her home and sent to “wilderness therapy.” She was unable to resume living at home until after her dad had died.

Lexi Jones in her February 2026 video.
In her 20-minute video, 25-year-old Lexi Jones opened up about the trauma of her “treatment” as a teen and how the so-called “therapy” had a lasting impact upon her as a person. (Image Credit: YouTube)

David Bowie and Iman’s daughter is now an adult

In a recent Instagram post, 25-year-old Alexandria “Lexi” Jones has a lot to say.

The 25-year-old daughter of late singer David Bowie and the daughter, Iman, knows that she grew up with comfort and opportunities that most people can only imagine.

From a young age, she also became aware that she grew up with opportunists who saw her as a gateway to her parents, not as her own person.

Multiple times during the lengthy video, Lexi refers to having to go to “treatment.”

Only later in the video does she offer a chilling explanation and detail this traumatic moment of her life.

According to Lexi, she — like many young teens — was struggling with a few issues at 14.

These issues included depression, an eating disorder, and substance abuse.

“For me, it wasn’t about fun,” Lexi explained, noting that her substance abuse followed her father’s liver cancer diagnosis. This was one of the most fragile periods of her life.

“I wasn’t experimenting, I was escaping,” she continued. “Escaping from my complicated mind, my complicated family, my complicated school.”

Lexi detailed: “When the party ended for everyone else, I kept going. And I drank and got high alone.”

One of Lexi’s many replies — which were overall encouraging despite instances of weird, misplaced anger — was a comment from an alleged fellow alum of the same tragic ‘treatment’ program. (Image Credit: Instagram)

‘I’m sorry we have to do this’

Lexi shared a harrowing account of her forcible removal from her family’s home at 14.

It sounds like a kidnapping. Other famous people, like Paris Hilton, have described this horrific — and yet, too often, technically legal — terror tactic that the predatory “troubled teen industry” employs.

“I’m sorry we have to do this,” Bowie’s letter to her allegedly read.

It was a weekday morning when two men whom she did not know entered the house to abduct Lexi.

“They told me I could do this the easy way or the hard way,” she recalled. “I chose the hard way.”

Unfortunately, Lexi’s brave choice did not avail her. She recounts grabbing hold of a table leg and screaming — like anyone might do if two men showed up to drag them into a black SUV to drive them to parts unknown.

“I felt stripped of any right to stay in my own life,” Lexi explains in the video. “By the time the door shut, my parents were already gone.”

Her destination turned out to be an all-too-common aspect of the predatory “troubled teen industry” — wilderness therapy.

For 91 days, she had to live outside and learn survival skills. That was only after being strip-searched (as a child, no less) upon arrival.

‘We both knew’

“I was a city girl. I didn’t even know this kind of program existed,” Lexi admits.

Even after those three months of hell ended, she was transferred to a residential treatment center — a boarding school in Utah.

Lexi stayed at that facility for over a year. That is where she was when she learned that her father had died.

“I had the luxury of speaking to him two days before, on his birthday,” Lexi shares. “I told him I loved him and he said it back, and we both knew.”

Reports at the time of Bowie’s passing describes his family as being present. But that left out Lexi, who was separated from her family during this time.

It is no wonder that these experiences have shaped her for life. Truth be told, Lexi seems more well-adjusted than many would be if they had endured that in their teens.

Oliver ‘Power’ Grant Cause of Death: Founding Wu-Tang Clan Member Was 52

Reading Time: 2 minutes

We have tragic news to report from the world of music today.

Oliver “Power” Grant — the music mogul and film producer who is credited as one of the founders of the Wu Tang Clan — has passed away.

He was just 52 years old.

According to the hip hop news site OkayPlayer, Grant died on February 23.

“A driving force behind one of hip-hop’s most influential movements, Power helped build a global legacy rooted in independence, ownership and culture,” Okayplayer’s post began (via Page Six).

“His belief in creative control and community empowerment helped shape not only a group, but a dynasty that changed music forever.

“His impact will live on through the culture he helped elevate and the countless lives he inspired,”

Born in Jamaica in 1973, Grant’s family later relocated to Staten Island, where he grew up alongside several future Wu-Tang legends, including RZA, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna.

In addition to executive producing all of Wu-Tang’s albums — beginning with 1993’s Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) — Grant was also the CEO of the group’s iconic Wu Wear clothing line.

“My crew had plenty of skeptics, doubters, and non-believers,” he said in a 2011 interview, adding:

“It wasn’t anything personal, but I’d say that everyone is an individual and they didn’t really understand what I was doing or what I was initially trying to get across, or where I was coming from.”

Grant was also an actor who appeared in 1998’s Belly alongside Method Man, as well as Black and White the following year.

On social media today, several Wu-Tang members have paid tribute to Grant.

“We couldn’t have done it without him,” GZA wrote on Instagram (via Page Six). “Wu wouldn’t have come to fruition without Power. His passing is a profound loss to us all. My deepest condolences to the fam.”

“POWER we been everywhere … Now you everywhere!” Raekwon added. “The most high is merciful. I love you.”

“Paradise my Brother safe Travels!!” Method Man chimed in. “Bruh I am not ok.”

Our thoughts go out to Grant’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

Robert Cosby Jr. — the son of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby — has passed away.

He was just 23 years old.

Robert Cosby Jr., the son of Bravo star Mary Cosby, has died at the age of 23.

News of Robert’s death comes courtesy of a Salt Lake City Police Department report obtained by TMZ.

A spokesperson tells the outlet they responded Monday night to a call for a “full arrest/medical emergency.”

Robert’s cause of death has not been revealed, but police say they responded to a call for an overdose and found that the victim had already passed away when they arrived.

“Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord. Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace,” Mary said in a statement.

“We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”

News of Robert’s passing comes just two months after his wife, Alexiana Smokoff, filed for divorce.

Alexiana filed back in November, while Robert was briefly in jail for allegedly violating her restraining order against him.

Robert Cosby Jr. made several appearances on Bravo before his untimely death.

Paperwork obtained by People stipulated that Robert would not be allowed to “harass, intimidate or disturb the peace of the other party, by any means, including electronically commit domestic violence or abuse against the other party or a child, use the other party’s name, likeness, image, or identification to get credit, open an account for service, or obtain a service, cancel or interfere with telephone, utility, or other services used by the other party, cancel, modify, terminate, change the beneficiary.”

He was taken into custody after allegedly violating a temporary pretrial protective order.

“Today Robert Cosby took responsibility for the mistakes he has made and the pain he has caused his ex-wife and her family,” Robert’s attorney Clayton Simms said at the time.

“Robert was slow to recognize that his marriage was over. He continued to make contact with his ex-wife in an effort to reconcile. He now realizes that the relationship is over and he must move on.”

Obviously, details are scarce at the moment, but this is an unspeakable tragedy for one of Bravo’s most beloved families.

Our thoughts go out to Robert’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

We will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.

Eric Dane Blasted as ‘Bully’ by (One) Former ‘Grey’s …

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Almost everyone misses him dearly.

In the wake of Eric Dane’s tragic passing, countless former colleagues have paid tribute to the late actor.

One former background actress from Grey’s Anatomy, however, remembers a very different man.

Accusing him of playing a role in the downfall of her career, she’s calling Dane “a bully and an a-hole.”

Not everyone feels the same about the late actor

Laura Ann Tull wrote on Threads, the Meta-owned attempt to replace Twitter after the latter’s fall, in response to reports on Dane’s passing.

Responding to Variety, Tull condemned the late actor as a man who “was a bully and an a-hole.”

This is not a popular sentiment in any sense.

Her dislike of the late actor stems from when the two both appeared on Grey’s Anatomy.

He was prominently introduced as McSteamy, where Tull was a background actress — an extra. She worked on the show, she says, for about three years.

A Threads screenshot

“He was a coward who abused me,” Tull announced in a series of posts. “Bullied me. Made fun of me.”

Naturally, she received a not-insignificant amount of pushback from other denizens of Threads.

“He just died,” Tull acknowledged. “I only wish he’d apologized & admitted what he did.”

What did he do?

According to Tull, Dane interfered with her ability to work, possibly getting her let go from Grey’s Anatomy. This, she says, upended her career.

A Threads screenshot

Did she get him ‘fired’ from his most famous job?

Tull acknowledged that Dane had passed away — but was unwilling to walk back her words or sentiments.

“His dying doesn’t change [the] destruction he caused me,” she wrote in one post.

Tull revealed that she had, at one time, intended to pursue legal action against him.

She also alleged that she is the reason “why he was fired from Grey’s.”

If there is any evidence of this, she did not provide it. To the best of anyone’s knowledge, Dane’s 2012 departure was due to a combination of budgetary and creative choices.

A Threads screenshot
There were many posts by Laura Ann Tull on this topic on Threads. This is but a small sample. (Image Credit: Threads)

To be entirely honest, parts of Tull’s thread of posts are a little difficult to follow.

It sounds like she believes that Dane spoke ill of her behind her back, doing lasting harm to her reputation on set and then to her career.

Tull has been talking about this for years.

She apparently received the label “weird” on set and blamed Dane for it.

However, she has admitted that she and Dane never spoke directly to each other.

How could one person remember the man so differently than everyone else?

It is possible that Tull’s impressions of Dane are factual. If so, it is possible that she is not the only person who had an issue with the actor, but that others have kept quiet.

(Dane, incidentally, has acknowledged that he struggled with prescription medication around that time.)

We can also consider that Tull — who by her own admission never spoke to the man — may have perceived him as an enemy, and (perhaps through misinformation told to her by third parties) allowed this belief to fester over time, but in error.

Unfortunately, we can neither prove nor disprove Tull’s account. It seems unlike that anyone from the series is going to back her up — but we would be interested if one of his former co-stars chooses to suprise us.

Some people die and are unfairly lionized by people who either did not know them, have bad intention, or both. But it is also possible for a kind person to die and be condemned.

It seems unlikely that Tull or Dane’s loved ones are going to be able to reconcile their views of Dane. Probably best if they do not try.
