Is there any truth to the rumor that Sydney Sweeney and Zendaya are feuding?
What initially seemed like a wild internet rumor is looking more and more plausible amid the media tour for Euphoria Season 3.
Yes, there was a time when it looked like Euphoria S3 would never happen, but now it’s just a few weeks away.
But don’t tell that to Sydney, who has allegedly decided to skip the show’s press tour.
Are Sydney and Zendaya really beefing over politics?
In case you’re somehow unaware, Sydney has become a darling of the MAGA movement in recent months.
Now, she’s never endorsed Donald Trump or spoken publicly about who she voted for in 2024.
But Sweeney’s American Eagle jeans controversy (and her subsequent refusal to push back against the far-right interpretation) of its message gained her a large GOP following.
The revelation that Sydney is a registered Republican only added to the perception that she holds highly conservative views (which she’s neither confirmed nor denied).
Zendaya, on the other hand, has been an outspoken progressive throughout her career, and many jumped to the conclusion that the costars must not get along.
There were even rumors that Sydney was refusing to promote Euphoria due to her bad blood with Zendaya.
And pics and video posted by HBO earlier today seemed to support that theory:
Here were Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow posing together — with Sydney conspicuously absent.
Countless fans and influencers concluded that the rumors of a politically charged feud must be accurate, and Sweeney decided to skip the media tour.
But TMZ is refuting that rumor, reporting that the shot was taken behind the scenes and was not part of a planned promotional event.
Still, it’s significant that the photo included most of the female stars of the show, except for, arguably, the most famous one.
Even so, the outlet insists that Sydney’s “absence had nothing to do with an alleged feud between the two superstar actresses.”
So we guess folks who are thirsty for more Euphoria drama will just have to wait until the show returns to HBO Max on April 12.
The cast has followed an interesting arc over the years:
When the series began, Zendaya was the only household name.
Now, Jacob Elordi is nominated for an Oscar, and Sydney is one of the most famous people on the planet.
Another of the show’s regulars, Eric Dane, passed away from ALS last month, but was able to film his final scenes for Euphoria ahead of his death.

The MomTok drama never stops.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Mikayla Matthews met her husband at an extremely young age.
Since then, they have welcomed four children — with Baby #4 coming just last year.
Now, it’s over. Sort of.
They’ve been married for 8 years, but now …
Mikayla and Jace have been together since she was 16. He, at the time, was a grown man in his (early) 20s.
On the Thursday, March 12 episode of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, viewers saw their marriage come to a screeching halt.
“We both agreed to do a separation,” Mikayla told the camera on Season 4, Episode 9 of the Hulu series.
This season, her childhood trauma — including being a survivor of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) — was a recurring hot topic.
And it has ground the intimate portion of their love life to a standstill.
“It’s so incredible that everyone’s getting these opportunities and going out and living their dreams,” Mikayla affirmed during the episode. “But my health has held me back from saying yes to a lot of opportunities.”
Mikayla just gave birth to their fourth child last year.
She also suffers from a chronic illness that is also something of a medical mystery.
“It’s definitely discouraging and frustrating,” Mikayla expressed, “and it kind of holds me back in other places in my life, like my marriage with Jace.”
The couple entered couples therapy during Season 3. However, they have made little progress.

During the episode, Mikayla chatted with Mayci Neeley about how processing her trauma needs to happen before she and Jace can repair their sex life.
“I feel like I’m working on so many different things outside of just sex,” she shared.
“And I know that obviously he can’t just be like, ‘OK, well we can go without that,’” Mikayla acknowledged.
She added: “We both get to a point where we feel really helpless about it.”
As viewers saw, Mikayla and Jace agreed that she doesn’t currently “have the motivation” to tackle the intimacy angle.

Viewers’ were beside themselves as Mikayla packed up her belongings, preparing to move out as the separation began.
“At home, you feel like you can’t focus on your skin and your health because I’m also here,” Jace acknowledged.
This is ostensibly the reason that she, not he, moved out.
“I think it’s hard anytime you bring up the stuff with the sex and the intimacy,” Mikayla acknowledged. “I feel it’s hard on me.”
She explained that this is “because again, my nervous system is already in fight or flight, and I’m already maxed out. My bucket is full.”
Is the marriage over forever?
“I don’t think it’s like with the intention of being separated forever,” Mikayla stated optimistically.
“I think we’re obviously still going to see each other every single day,” she predicted. “I’m not trying to go even a day away from the kids anyway.”
Mikayla confessed to the camera: “There’s part of me that is definitely scared to lose him because I feel like our marriage is so good outside of the sexual intimacy part of it.”
She commented: “Which is ironic because that’s his No. 1 need and that’s my No. 1 wound.”

This is such a heavy subject.
In early 2024, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard announced the stillbirth of their “beautiful baby girl.”
She and her siblings have discussed the trauma of pregnancy loss before.
Now, she’s explaining why holding a funeral for their would-be daughter was so important.
They had hoped to meet Isla Marie
On the Wednesday, March 11 episode of her sister’s Jinger & Jeremy podcast, Jill and her husband, Derick, appeared as guests.
They were there to discuss a heavy topic: Jill’s 2024 stillbirth and their grief surrounding it.
Though their would-be daughter died before her March 19 birth, they named her Isla Marie.
Some Duggar watchers did not truly understand why Jill and Derick opted to hold a funeral for a child they never met.
But Jill was very direct in offering her explanation.
“We planned a funeral because that was something that we really wanted,” Jill affirmed.
“I think anybody at any stage of pregnancy,” she suggested, “you can minimize it [and] you can say, ‘Oh, you’re only this many weeks [or] that many weeks.’”
Jill announced: “It doesn’t matter.”
She explained: “Like, whatever you feel is going to remember your baby and remember their life in a significant way.”
Obviously, Jill is speaking personally — and also referring to miscarriages that people know about. A significant minority of miscarriages happen without the individual’s notice.
She is not the only one in her family to have this experience
“It was really helpful for us … that we do as much of the grieving in a tangible way as possible,” Jill praised of the funeral.
“And, I had seen my mom grieve,” she shared. “I had seen my sisters grieve losses.”
Notably, Jill and her sisters have gotten together to discuss miscarriage grief.
“I had seen other people,” Jill continued.
“So, I was able to incorporate some of those experiences,” she shared, “and thankfully have more knowledge and more resources at my fingertips because of that.”
Jill also delved into the painful logistics of grappling with a miscarriage.
This included the process of procuring a stillbirth certificate from the hospital.
Tearing up, Jill spoke about the experience of calling funeral homes to see if they could accommodate her.
(If you have ever had to make extremely practical phone calls amidst bereavement, like canceling an appointment for a dead family member, you can imagine what this process was like for her.)
“No one ever prepares you” for how this works or how this feels, Jill lamented.
This grief is not something that Jill can set aside, no matter how others feel
For some who suffer miscarriages, they are attempting to become parents. The setback is traumatic and catastrophic.
Others may find that they would have added another child to an existing family. Feelings on this can run the full spectrum.
Notably, not even Jill seems to be telling others how to feel. She’s expressing her own heartache and loss.
Knowing the Duggar cult and their extreme beliefs, some on social media may feel tempted to get drawn into a personhood debate. That is pointless — and not even relevant.
This is about Jill’s sense of loss more than anything else. Our hearts go out to her as she continues to mourn.

Winning the very first season of American Idol was supposed to come with some pretty nice perks.
According to Kelly Clarkson, however, at least two of those perks never actually materialized.
Which is — not ideal.
During the latest episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson revealed that the reality competition never delivered the prizes that were advertised when she won the series back in 2002.
Specifically, Kelly says she did not receive the $1 million prize that viewers believed the winner would take home.
Because, producers explained, that wasn’t really the prize. Apparently, Ms. Clarkson failed to read the fine print.
(Yes, Kelly recently announced that she’s ending her talk show, so she might be feeling more honest than usual these days.)
While discussing reality show winnings with The Traitors fan favorite Rob Rausch, Kelly revealed that producers don’t always deliver on their promises.
“They were like, ‘Oh, you win a million dollars,’ or whatever. No, you didn’t. They lied. It was like a million dollars’ worth of investment in you,” she recalled (via Page Six).
According to Clarkson, the promised “million dollars” was actually a million dollars’ worth of investment in her career, rather than a literal check.
So yes — technically a million dollars. Just not the kind you can put in your bank account.
And that wasn’t the only disappointment.
Clarkson also says she was promised a brand-new car after winning the competition. But that never showed up either.
At the time, the singer says she desperately needed one because her own vehicle had been damaged — and she couldn’t afford the deductible to fix it.
“They said you get a car. And I needed it because my car was bashed in, and I couldn’t afford the deductible. And then — no! I did not get a car,” Kelly explained.
Needless to say, the missing car still stings. Especially after Clarkson later learned that Season 2 runner-up Clay Aiken received a vehicle.
Actually, two vehicles — one for him, and one for his mom.
“I was like, what the f—?” Clarkson joked while recalling the moment she found out.
The revelation came after Rausch mentioned that he’s still waiting to receive the prize money from his own reality show victory.
It’s a situation Clarkson can sadly relate to. So maybe Rob shouldn’t hold his breath.
Of course, it’s worth noting that Clarkson’s career turned out just fine despite the questionable prize package.
After winning American Idol, she went on to become one of the show’s most successful alumni, scoring numerous hit singles, multiple Grammy Awards, and a long-running daytime talk show.
Still, a free car probably would have been nice. Just sayin’!

The gathering was a celebration of NFL star Tony Gonzalez for his birthday.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez hosted the party at their Los Angeles residence.
Notably, Tony and Lauren are exes. They welcomed a child together in 2001.
Clearly, things are amicable. And perhaps their good vibes were rubbing off on the party guests.

According to the report, 48-year-old Tom and 39-year-old Yael were “huddled up at the bar together” during the party.
And it doesn’t sound like it stopped there.
The same report says that Tom and Yael departed together.
Obviously, that could technically mean anything.
Many people may interpret that as a sign of advancing familiarity. Leaving an event together — particularly a party — can be a display of intimacy.
Both had fairly famous divorces not too long ago
In 2022, Tom and his ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, divorced.
Following that split, both eyewitness reports and wild speculation have linked him to a wide array of women.
